Reviews
The hotel reviews are mixed, with some guests expressing satisfaction with the staff, cleanliness, and location, while others report various issues such as double charging, broken facilities, and uncleanliness. Noise and parking fees are also common complaints.
- Friendly and helpful staff
- Clean and spacious rooms
- Double charging and hidden fees
- Noise and disturbances during night

Check in was easy and the room was clean enough. However the neighborhood is very sketchy. Lots of people loitering. Will it stay here again.

Room was clean but outside wasn't. Floors on the balcony had cracks, average clean , stairs unclean. Wooden chairs on the firs floor balcony are broken in some places. Room and utilities are clean. Not a single tissue box in the room. Mo toothpaste or toothbrush. Bathtub was clean but water was accumulating during shower due to clogged drain which was annoying. We stayed some other facilities with same price but better overall cleanliness, inside and outside rooms. Easy access to gas station, Restraurents which is plus.

You like this place so you would like this place it’s pretty decent except I did not like some of the attitudes towards the end. They bang on the doors excessively and they can be a little bit rude towards the end. Ending of checkout me and my family had a pretty decent day, but I do not like all the extra attitude because I pay money and I’m very respectful and I believe in decency and treating others the way that they treat me.

Room.was ok, but could have been cleaner

This was my 2nd stay in as many weeks. Big difference in tidiness. I would definitely book again if needed.

Had a comfortable stay at Gateway Hotel. The rooms were clean, and the staff was courteous and helpful. The location was convenient, and the overall experience was pleasant. The only downside was that breakfast was not available. Other than that, everything was good. Thank you for the hospitality!
- 5/5
Great stay for the price. It was clean and quiet. The room was small, but plenty of room for me. The only negative was the choice of tv channels.

The Expedia photos were very misleading. I strongly recommend doing additional research before booking this hotel because my husband and I definitely wish we had. When we arrived, it felt much more like a motel than a hotel. There was an event happening that weekend, and it seemed many of the guests staying there were attending the same event. One of the first things we were asked to do was sign a vehicle liability agreement, which immediately struck me as unusual since I’ve never had to do that at any other hotel. When we got to our parking area, people were outside using drugs and blasting loud music. Our room also did not appear to be cleaned thoroughly, and we found multiple bugs on our towels. The loud music continued late into the night despite us notifying staff several times. We also spoke with the front desk about all of these issues, but they were not helpful and did little to address our concerns. The only positive things I can say about this property are that it is well lit at night, the front gate closes in the evening, and it is conveniently located next to a gas station and Dunkin. Other than that, our experience was disappointing and I would not recommend staying here.
- 5/5
Clean room, quick check in, zero hassle. Parking lot has overnight guard to watch cars, gives peace of mind. 7 minute walk from echo stage. Perfect for music festivals at RFK Festival Grounds.

It’s a pretty average inn. Just know you’re there to sleep and leave. Not enjoy your stay

It is far from the city center too

The room was decent for my circumstance but the room always felt muggy. Flies (maybe fruit flies or gnats) were constantly coming from the sink and shower drain. Dead flies were in the tub and sink after each morning I woke up. I felt bugs biting my skin in the middle of the night. There’s definitely bed bugs in the rooms. I used my own comforter on the bed and laid on top of it as a protective cover. The tables and dresser should be thoroughly cleaned as well. They both appear clean but feel very sticky as if Clorox wipes were used to wipe it down without actually ever cleaning them. The light switches around the lamps were also dirty with gunk in the crevices of the switches. Parking is pretty ok but after hours security will have to manually let you into the parking lot. I didn’t mind that at all , but there were nights that security wasn’t present and I had to wait until someone came back to the security booth. Longest I waited was about 5 minutes. I would book again. Hopefully under better conditions, but I would never stay for more than 1 night.
- 1/5
The hotel definitely scammed Expedia.com . It looks nothing like the pictures. The front desk tried to scam me out of $100 for security purposes but that wasn’t written on Expedia. Then I had to prove I needed a 1st floor by showing the front desk person my cane. We had to pay $10 to park behind their gate to witness any and everything all at once. Get to the room go to the bathroom and the biggest cockroach I ever saw was in there. To say the least they got to keep my money even though I didn’t stay because it was I refundable on Expedia.
- 0.5/5
Nothing The hairdryer cord was COMPLETELY broken and cut in half when I got to the room. They want to tell me I cut it when it was cut PRIOR and I didn’t even take a shower there. The cleaning staff clearly doesn’t clean the rooms properly. There is ALWAYS something broken or missing in every room I’ve ever stayed in. Completely disgusted

Gross. Just gross.
- 4/5
Had all the amenities that one would need for a short trip. The rooms were clean and luckily we didn’t face any smoke smell or bedbugs issues as suggested by other reviews. Keep in mind it is priced low so do expect to have different population of guests.

Close to amenities, thats staff was ok the guy reassured me that there were no bed bugs after reading the comments after booking and be was right at least for the room I got he did have an attitude when I questioned the $10 parking cover. For the most part the room itself was clean the outer corridor needs to be power washed with bleach and remove the stains and the $10 cover to park is absolutely ridiculous that needs to be a thing of the past.
- 5/5
Clean, comfortable room. Safe, reasonable parking. Can't think of anything, this hotel was probably one of the best values in accommodation that we've come across. Very happy with our stay.
- 1/5
Not clean with a good smell no ice machines no cups in room not go6.

Kinda lackluster but the location wa convenient and the parking situation felt very safe

Staff
- 1/5
Parking was rip off, spiders in bathroom, asked for hair dryer because ours was missing and never showed up, didn’t clean room, no towels, room next to us kept us up two nights in a row and had to call security, tv had no guide, pillow cases smelled and more
- 1/5
The surrounding neighborhood felt very sketchy and uncomfortable, especially at night. We had originally booked a two-night stay, but ended up leaving early and booking another hotel because we genuinely did not feel safe staying there any longer. Would not recommend for anyone looking for a safe or peaceful stay.
- 4/5
No complaints. Just fees that I didn't know about till check on.
- 5/5
I stayed at another location (Motel Six Camp springs) for 2 days. I would never go back there and spend $1.00. I got here by the Grace of God. It is Heaven to ME. The staff, especially, the manager, he personally helps his guests, when he's available. I can go out on the patio in the am and have my conversation with God without any distractions. It's so serene and peaceful..I love it!
- 5/5
great room, great price
- 4/5
Also has an inhouse restuarant which seemed nice, and reasonably priced.
- 5/5
Good place for the price.
- 5/5
Everything was good clean and neat the staff was good. But the only thing is that we stayed for a few days and they didn’t come take out the garbage and change one off the bed sheets and towels they didn’t clean the room at all. The area was quite and place you can eat and gas station near by n liquor store 7 minutes away.
- 5/5
Nothing I didn't like! 🙋😊
- 2/5
the sink had a crack in it from the side down to the drain hole. the wallpaper in the bathroom was old and warped. the exhaust vent wasn't on straight and looked broken. the doorframe in the bathroom and graffiti on it. there was dried weed stems on the towel arrangement that was on the bathtub. The room smellled like cigarrette smoke. other tenants were outside of my door talking and smoking at 3AM. I could not get any rest. I had to let the group of men that was hanging outside my door that someone was in the room they chose to hold court in front of. There was a woman that looked unhoused and smelled that was ouside the lobby door, followed me inside. Lastly, the man inside the parking booth was not paying attention. i had to get out of the car and walk up to the window and hold up the parking permit. he cam out hand pushed the iron gate by hand. this property could of been nice but needs lots of work.
- 1/5
I called and spoke to management just now to explain the dirty hotel room, poor water stream coming from the shower, the paint and plaster falling off the walls, the poor smell, and the ground of men that were gathered directly outside my door. All of those things combine, had me feeling unsafe. II packed my bag and left at 11pm the same night after getting to mee hotel at 10pm. This was not the hotel that is described on the site that i booked. Not even close. no single woman should travel here. I called and spoke to the man (who did not give me his name) at the front desk who said he was the one to make the desicions to give me a refund. He refused to hear my story and hung up on me.
- 4/5
The sink was not passing water easily, and we had water stuck in our sink. All other things were good.
- 4/5
For the price and for one night stay it was doable, although there was trash on the lobby floor and no tissues in the room.
- 4/5
Clean room and very helpful staff
- 4/5
Good location if you go to Echostage
- 3/5
It is beside the police station and a busy highway/road so the traffic can be heard inside your room.
- 5/5
A decent, inexpensive place. I felt safe, everything worked.
- 5/5
Clean room
- 4/5
It wasn't any fancy but it was a clean room and a good night stay.
- 3/5
Super conveniently located!
- 5/5
I enjoyed my stay here. The room was clean, and the staff were very helpful when I had questions or problems. There’s also a Chinese restaurant nearby with reasonable prices and good food, which was really convenient. The location is not right in the city center, but there’s a bus stop nearby that goes directly to the center, where most of the monuments and museums are. Overall it was a comfortable and convenient stay.
- 3/5
Room was clean

Yes
- 3/5
Pretty decent staff for the price
- 1/5
I’m not a snob. I’ve stayed in 70-100 dollar a night rooms, and have been perfectly fine. I do not need luxury amenities, but this place was absolutely disgusting. At least make the bed and give me a fresh towel! At least address the flooding sink! Never again. How do you hold $100 for incidentals when every feature of the room was falling apart? I can’t wait to get home to shower, that is how disgusting I feel. Every staff member avoided eye contact, because they know how poor the place is.
- 2/5
The room itself was fine and clean but the bathtub was dirty with hair in the tub. When I washed the hair down the drain, I used my foot to move the water, not wanting to touch the hair and dirt with my hands. When I removed my foot from the tub and placed it on the bathroom floor, it left a water mark that was black and dirty. Pretty disgusting and not what I expect when I check in and want to take a shower. I obviously did NOT shower in that bathtub. When I went to report the situation to the front desk, I found that the phone in my room wasn't working either!
- 4/5
While I had no issues with the property, from the outside, location-wise, it does look kind of odd. However, the room was clean and had both a microwave/mini fridge. I stayed 2 days, but would definitely go back.
- 3/5
Did not know I had to pay for parking and 100 dollars out of pocket for deposit.
- 2/5
It was ok until I decided to sleep and there was a constant noise beeping in the hallway . Did not stop all night . Tried calling no one was picking up.
- 5/5
Good for the price had a good bundle.
- 5/5
Thanks again
- 4/5
I didn’t like there was no handicap access easily to the rooms
- 3/5
It was nice windows need cleaning asap. Room doors need weather lining to keep draft out and bugs..
- 3/5
The room was clean. The staff at check in weren't pleasant or welcoming. We had three people in a room but was only provided towels for two guests. At check out, the staff was more pleasant. Place was conveniently next to a Dunkin Donuts and convenience store.
- 5/5
Great room but the customers service wasn’t matching
- 3/5

- 5/5
Clean room, excellent AC
- 4/5
Don't judge a book by the cover, picture on Expedia is not what you see when you check in at the lobby. However the room was clean and the staff was friendly and nice

Good, not best
- 3/5
This is lower end property. Overall property is average
- 1/5
On the surface, I had a lovely stay. The staff was kind and helpful. The room was serviceable. The location and the price were amazing. However, when I returned home, I woke up the next morning with bed bug bites on my arm. It has been nearly a week since I have returned home and the only bites that have surfaced are the ones that I found following my stay at this hotel. Which leads me to believe that sadly the bites came from my stay at Gateway. I was thinking of staying here again for my next trip to DC, but I will now never stay here again and strongly advise against staying here to anyone else.

The room used to be a suite (I think). The doors that separate the rooms have no sound proofing. We were woke up by talking in what sounded like normal levels. They can also still unlock. We left a day early because it was just uncomfortable.
- 3/5
This is not a deluxe hotel. It is quite run down. Stairs are in need of attention. Some of the bathroom towels should be retired. Price was cheapest in DC area.

It was very loud, stairs are dangerous, and requires a 100 dollar deposit before check in that was never returned to my bank account. For 200 dollars a night we could have gone to a much nicer place.

The amenities are working. Room is decent. Bathroom is clean
- 5/5
This hotel is so great, caring staff, perfect if you don't intend to spend much on hotel while on vaccation for along or short period. closer to bus stops and stores & the airport. Good Good place if you just want a simple life.

Non smoking building but the room smelled of smoke and I found a cigarette butt in the bathroom. Felt generally unsafe. Would not stay again.
- 3/5
Yes the air conditioning is functional and pretty nice! Shops nearby are definitely not very traversable via car. Walking is a little sketchy in the area but only at night. A nice base for us to start at!
- 2/5
The tv didn’t work
- 3/5
Smoke smell in the room. Surprise parking fees when expedia said free parking.
- 4/5
I like the room clean bed was nice soft comfortable nice area only issues where for me noisy guest next to me no cable channels and small ants in my room and space in the door cold air comes through but overall my stay was good would stay there again

reeked of cig smoke. the place definitely had beg bugs that bit me. police and bedbugs everywhere. the hotel is next to a police facility so the noise and activity doesn’t let you sleep. there was also no body wash. that made the bed bug bites worse.

Hotel is located in a depressed part of Washington DC. That can be seen as soon as one gets to the hotel. Reception area is not inviting - receptionist almost closed out behind a glass window. Corridor dirty. Insufficient elevators if one has heavy suitcase going up the stairs is a challenge. Overall a poor facility; other than the affordable cost.
- 5/5
Clean hotel good quality

The accommodation is a motel adjacent to a main arterial road towards the city outskirts. Best for a car traveller passing through. Limited public transport connection with the city centre . Noisy because of the road. But room, although tired looking was large , clean and adequate for purpose.

Stafff was super friendly & helpful. Rooms were spotless and well equiped. Very peaceful and relaxing trip.

- 2/5
it was a worst experience you could ever imagine. They have hidden fees as soon as you walk in and make you pay $100 deposit I was baffled because it doesn’t say anything like that on the website and parking is not first day per night so beware in the bathroom window not that clean we we had bugs in there. It used to be a day cop inn to watch out on that too
- 5/5
I booked with another hotel and my reservation was cancelled without reason. I called this place and was able to get a room in 30 mins. Literally a life saver!
- 5/5
Clean room reasonable
- 3/5
Staff was very nice and accommodating. Room was ok but each morning I found a small roach in the bathroom
- 2/5
Our room reeked of pot. The towels had yellow stains, and black hair on them. We also had to pay $10 per day for parking. Do not stay here.
- 4/5
Decent room and hotel.
- 1/5
There are bed bugs and worst smell
- 2/5
Very basic no frills accommodation lobby not air condition. No tissues in room to blow your nose. It is a motel not hotel two story outside your room parking spaces
- 3/5
Nice staff but it’s kinda dirty on the insides.
- 1/5
They say it’s a hotel but this is a motel and the keys said days Inn on them. The room was disgusting. It was dirty and smelled bad. I found dead bugs near the bed. Holes in the wall. All kinds of stuff. They misrepresented who they were and have pictures that are different than the rooms. I didn’t even stay. I left 5 minutes after I walked in and NEVER GOT MY MONEY BACK AT ALL. Hilton would never. these people had nerves to have a one hundred dollar security hold fee just like Hilton and look at the difference. Are you kidding me? Never again. Gross.
- 4/5
This is a conversion from a larger chain hotel to a privately owned hotel. It was 102 degrees outside and there were no ice machines. Maintenance was lacking but not a huge issue. They charged $10 per night for parking but they had an abundance of it. Room was clean and staff was minimal. Nightly cost was comparatively low.
- 1/5
Completely different from the pictures and all. Roaches infested, it stunk aswell
- 3/5
Ac wasn't working. I called front desk and we were switched to another room. Inconvenient when it was 1am. Also some tiny random bugs in walls.
- 4/5
Motel-style rooms that feel very clean. Very affordable with lots of activities around the area. Would stay again.
- 5/5
Professional and polite
- 4/5
Nice place with wonderful customers service.
- 3/5
Ok at best
- 5/5
Easy to get to

We left early. Extremely loud. We could actually see into the connecting room through the bottom of the door. Smelled like smoke. Questionble area.

- 4/5
The second room was good. The beds weren’t the most comfortable but it did its job for the short time we were there. Staff was nice too. There’s a really good Chinese restaurant right next door too.
- 3/5
Not a lot of eateries around.
- 5/5
Came in to DC for Warped Tour and wanted to stay on budget and as close to the venue as I could afford. This hotel was much nicer than I expected for the cost. Rooms were clean and felt recently refurbished, had a coffee maker, microwave and mini fridge not mentioned in the listing (great surprise!!) The on site restaurant was very good and other dining options were nearby. The only downside was that the listing stated $10 parking per stay but it was per day - big difference. And well there were a lot of homeless in the area but it did not feel unsafe. Overall a very good choice and I would definitely stay here again! Thanks!
- 3/5
Nice place
- 3/5
There are some major image changes needed.
- 2/5
Late at night people were asking for drugs around 11. The staff were very nice but not the whole area
- 5/5
All of the good
- 4/5
Needs updated around facility. Noisy thru room walls other customers. Noisy location off busy streets
- 1/5
The area is dirty and not safe it’s in the downtown almost. The hotel is not clean bed sheets are very old. The smell is something else.
- 5/5
Super impressed and it was for a great price. I will 1000% stay here again ! Hopefully the pool will be fixed and they will have finished the facelift.
- 4/5
Very good
- 1/5
I booked none. Smoked room, but what they gave me the room was smelling of weed so bad the area wasn’t looking good or safe as the picture was showing while booking. I’m very disappointed. I couldn’t even sleep; some people “men” were outside smoking weed and cigarettes and listening to music. I really dont recommend this place, Don’t get scammed by the pictures you see on the exp app; you will be very much disappointed.
- 3/5
Old and run down. Convenient location, but not a great place to stay.
- 5/5
Had a great stay. Thank you!
- 4/5
I felt it was fair for the money paid. Nothing spectacular, but it was fairly quiet and the beds were clean. Very friendly staff and I felt secure in the hotel because it is not what I would consider to be the best part of the city. Not much of a selection of places to eat nearby. Overall, I think it is an alright place to stay and I would probably stay there again when going to visit for a short stay.
- 5/5

- 5/5
Excellent facilities. The walk around is great
- 4/5
Sus clientele but great workers who were very helpful. Place could’ve been cleaner
- 5/5
They let me check in early and out late. Truly ideal for business travelers.
- 5/5
. He is great, and very helpful! He’s such friendly. I appreciate him
- 1/5
They ran out of parking spaces and couldn't refund the hotel...
- 1/5
It was terrible ‼️
- 5/5
A lot nicer than i was expecting tbh
- 5/5
We occupied one bedroom for night stay as they offer Kingsize bed, TV , Microwave, a coffee machine charged $135.00 that includes $10.00 for one night parking. Plus at the time of check in $100.00 deposit which we received at the time of check out.
- 1/5
It was terrible. People was on the outside smoking, and it came all in my room. My neighbor was nowhere and I just didn’t feel safe.
- 3/5
Good location, safe, food and clubs walking distance. Room itself bit worn out. Dust webs.

This was the cheapest place to stay inside of DC. It isn't a hotel, it's a motel that was once a Days Inn. The walls were super thin and there were definitely some sketchy residue and stains on a chair and the lamp, but everything that needed to be clean was clean. Clean towels, clean bed, clean sink, no trash. Good enough for a night or two. If anyone smoked outside, you could definitely smell it. Ear plugs are a must. The room has its own ac unit and it worked well. Parking was $10 and they had me put down an $100 deposit that was returned at check out. Dunkin and checkers right next door. Didn't see any bugs, checked the beds too. Not bad!

Easy check in and out. Convenient parking with a lot attendant checking parking passes at night.
- 5/5
Awesome place
- 4/5
Convenience of Dunking Donut store outside of hotel. It would be better if you had Coffee machine in the lobby, as many hotels and motels do, even with a charge to be paid to the desk!

Put in May 9th. Arrival May 10th checkout and when I got there they did not have a room for me. They said my date was for May 8th and check out May 9th so I never stayed there and got charged for it. I was hoping to get some kind of a refund

Well worth the cost

For the price it was okay. My room was clean. I did see areas that I would have liked to have a bit more effort put into but for a two day stay it was alright. Close to downtown and local stores.

I enjoyed my stay and the food in restaurant

The room was dirty and desperately needed the walls wiped down, smelled of smoke, and had stains on the comforter.
- 3/5
It extremely basic room for sleeping and storing your beloongs. Does not include breakfast as advertised and staff was not helpful.
- 4/5
It was a decent stay. Okay for the cost. The added parking fee was a little unexpected. The door to our room also didn’t seem like it properly shut but we bolted it and all was fine. Would probably stay again depending on the price of the surrounding hotels for another trip.

I love it . The beautiful Lady Housekeeping was so kind to us thank you so much the customer services it's amazing.

It was a good place

Hotel is old.. not well maintained. Rooms we’re having smell and dusty etc. Will look for bette options next time
- 3/5
Fair good for the price. Not fancy but we have to transfer rooms 2x due broken shower and the other room emits sewage smell. Finally got a decent room and stayed for the rest of the days. Service is quick and commendable. Nice location with Dunkin Donuts on the side and Checker Burger place. Best thing is, the hotel is pretty much close to the National Mall and close to the National Shrine of Immaculate Conception.

Staff was friendly. Rooms were clean but not in great condition. Headboard was cracked, walls were scuffed and cracked. Bathroom was clean. We did have a stained towel we exchanged. You get what you pay for and

The only thing I can say about this hotel, The king bed I had was acceptable. Comfortable sleeping. However, The walls, bathroom, floors are dirty, the drapes are filthy. The whole place needs to be remodeled. BUT if you book through a 3rd party and your finances are limited, then it's passable. I paid 97 plus 10 to park per day. I you book through the hotel it's 125 plus 10 to park. You can't touch a hotel room close to the city for this price. Hold your nose and don't spend any time here. Just sleep and go visiting or whatever. There is Dunkin Doughnuts on site that sell sandwiches which are pretty good plus they also sell gas and snacks and ice. I did not see any bugs but the bathroom has severe caulking everywhere. The staff is so so, however the chair in my room was dilapidated and they did change it out with the one next door. Good Luck.

Really good hotel for the price. Clean room and bathroom. Not far from DC. Would stay again.
- 5/5
Lovely staff. The property is in need of spackling and fresh paint. Sidewalk repairs are also needed. Lock repairs are needed. The music in the lobby was beautiful. I was in a non smoking room, but clearly smelled smoke from an adjacent room. Thin walls.

It is a Motel and not a Hotel. The furnitures are older and broken than the ones shown in image. I stayed for 2 day but was always had a feeling towards family safety and security. In the same budget you can have better options. Location wise it is good. Rest is ones choice!!

I knew that I was getting a budget hotel, but wasn't prepared for what I fiasco it was. When we checked in the room keys didn't work. After the third attempt of getting new keys, we had to wait for the maintenance man to come open the door, which he couldn't. All this time we spent waiting made us late for our evening plans. Eventually they gave us another room, for which the keys didn't work either. The maintenance man let us in the room and went to get new key cars. In the mean time the front desk gave our new room to other guests, who ironically had working keys who just walked in to our room while we were half naked and proceeded to get enraged with us because we were in "their" room. The icing on the cake was the cockroach in the bath tub. From the turmoil in the reception area, we were not the only guests who were having problems. Stay somewhere else if you can.

Walked in and the whole place reaked of smoke and was blasting music. No way I could spend the night there, so I left right away and booked at a different hotel.

FIX your locks and your keycards before you sell a room.

It was clean, comfy, and affordable. I would recommend, and we will be back!
- 5/5
It was enjoyable and well cleaned

The quality of the room was great for the price. Close to several dining options, stores and the Metro. My biggest concern was for bed bugs. A couple of the reviews that I read complained about finding bed bugs. I did a deep search of the mattresses, head boards and area around the beds and found no sign of bed bugs or their droppings. Several reviews complained of no hot water in the showers. The shower handle just needs to be turned farther than half way between hot and cold for a hot shower. My ONLY complaint about the room that I stayed in was that there was no way to stop up the tub drain for a bath, which I sorely needed after all the walking that I did around the National Mall and museums. That was remedied by purchasing a cheap tub stopper at the Target store nearby. This was a great room for $93 a night within walking distance of several dining options, stores and the Metro. If you're planning on staying in DC economically, the Gateway hotel is an excellent choice!

Got hit with $100 deposit that was not mentioned on the Expedia website. In addition on the Experian website it said that there's a shuttle to Union Station and there is no shuttle to Union Station this is quite the disappointment and I will not stay here again

It is easy to go anywhere and the transportation is good.

I liked it, but they charge you 10 dollars to park in their parking lot, that is just greed. The shower was hot, the heat worked really good. So, overall it was good, will definitely book there again if necessary.
- 3/5
Our stay was comfortable. There is a young lady that works mornings at your front desk, she is just lovely. That’s a keeper. Also your housekeep staff were all great.
- 4/5
At the same time I was surprised to pay additional price for parking while it was advertised that the parking is available.
- 4/5
I liked that I felt safe there. Well lit and guarded. I also liked being able to park at the room door and walk in. There was limited hot water though. Room was very clean and the internet and TV worked well. Room was noisy from traffic on Rt 50. McDonalds and Dunkin Donuts next door and a chinese restaurant at the hotel. Checkin was easy. $10 parking/night to pay for extra security which I didn't mind. Convenient to downtown, NOMA, Union Station
- 2/5
You pay to Park and security was rude as well. The hot water took 30 mins to get hot . Phones in the rms didn't work, restaurant was closed.

Sorry nothing to add my flight from Colorado was delayed, I got to DC around 11pm, when I got to the hotel someone I sd canceled my room. Then i was told it was canceled on October 3rd. Which wasn't true. I found myself stranded in DC. Every decent hotel had zero available rooms. I ended up staying in a dump . And i just went early to the airport on thst Saturday after my event and waited 6 hours for my flight back to Washington State. It was a horrible experience. I don't know why my room was canceled. I certainly didn't request it

Horrible smell in the elevator. Made me nauseous. Room was clean. Minimal amenities. Would not stay there again.

You advertised breakfast included with room price, they do not have any meals at all. Hotel was not as advertised.

I liked the location. It was on a bus line. Loved the price. I wished they changed the bed sheets.
- 3/5
The staff were unknowledgable, they thought it was still a Days Inn and then I learned it was not. I did book on price, so I got what I paid for and I can't complain about that, but the fact that I can see out around the door when it was closed do not give me that feeling of security. Room was not clean, and neither was the shower. There was no iron, but the person at the front desk was nice enough to bring me one, they just couldn't find an ironing board. If you want a budget hotel it's worth the money.
- 1/5
If you want a hotel with roaches, gnats, mold in the phone, and layers of dust on the air vents, this is the place for you. They also did not have the room I originally booked and everyone has to pay $10 a night to park.

Location close to downtown, but that’s all this hotel offers, room was large, but dated. The property needs a refresh.

I did not stay at the hotel checked in went to the room terrible the person next door was cookin and we could smell it. My son saw a rat in our parking area. I told the hotel cancel my reservation they said no. I left and stayed at the HOLIDAY INN AND SUITES.

I could not believe this application let their costumers get trap in something like this. The pictures display are not the reality. Terrible experience!
- 3/5
Room was not clean and there was stain everywhere where. Price is good but don’t expect somewhere clean and nice.
- 2/5
This hotel is actually a Motel. The entire place is outdated. The furniture was old and trashy looking. The dead bolt was hard to get to engage. The dresser and table had holes in them. The room was clean enough and the beds were fairly comfortable, but you could tell the mattresses were pretty old, but there were other issues. The sheets had burn holes in them. They were also dark blue which leads me to believe they use them to hide stains and not have to replace them as often as they should. There was no hot water in the morning. The elevator was a whole different level of disgusting. It smelled like vomit and Urine and had obviously not been cleaned in months. There has to be better options at the price point paid.
- 4/5
It was close to the historical sites by car.
- 5/5
Everything good thank you
- 3/5
The room looked clean enough but was obviously run down. It was ok for an overnight stay but that’s it. There was no stopper in the sink so I was worried my rings might slip off while washing my hands. The bed was really comfortable though so that’s a plus. The price was fair for what it was.
- 5/5
It’s quite and safe..
- 4/5
Had some sketchy people around the property throw beer and poop at me and my friend walking to echostage right in front of the hotel.
