Reviews
The hotel reviews indicate a mix of positive and negative experiences. While some guests appreciated the cleanliness, affordability, and friendly staff, many others expressed dissatisfaction with the lack of cleanliness, safety concerns, and poor maintenance.
- Affordable pricing
- Friendly and welcoming staff
- Lack of cleanliness
- Safety concerns and noisy environment

Went well over all, saw a bug out side of the room but once I entered everything was legit. Came with a fridge and microwave.
- 2/5
Room is smelling of smoke (cigarette), air conditioner noises.
- 3/5
While generally clean, the room amenities were not good: for example, the room was not equipped with a hair dryer; there were only two thin bath towels, a small face towel and a shower (bath tub) towel. There was only one roll of toilet paper. The phone lacked a dial tone and was't fixed during our stay. The price for the stay was just right.

Dear Hotels.com Customer Support, I am writing to formally complain about my recent hotel stay and to request both a refund Upon checking into my room, I found it to be unsanitary. There appeared to be an old dead mouse or rodent remains in the corner of the room, which made the room unacceptable and caused significant distress. Due to the condition of the room, I requested a refund; however, my request was denied and I was informed that I needed to contact Hotels.com directly but I couldn't get through the line. In addition to the sanitation issues, I have concerns regarding events that occurred before and during my check-in process. I would like more information about any communications or decisions prior to checkin and the assignment of my room.
- 5/5
clean rooms and comfortable beds. many businesses around to go to
- 1/5
The room was very dirty we found a used honey packet on the bed and burn holes in the blanket. There were also no towels and the ones that they brought us were covered in hair
- 3/5
It was nice there was security at night as the place overall gave sketchy. Came for a festival and probably would’ve went somewhere else if other festival goers weren’t there. Wouldn’t recommend for solo travelers or groups of woman. Lots of single or groups of men just standing around staring.
- 3/5
Bed was very hard so were pillows And no apps on TV to log in to to watch just a select channel line up of direct tv but for the price ot was good
- 2/5
Not good for business.
- 1/5
Motel seemed to have been freshly painted. Rooms cleaner. Location not so good. I checked out the same day I checked in due to location and people hanging around. Looked up Ivy Hotel on google to find out it was known for illegal activities. Including 2 homicides, many robberies and assaults. Was not safe place for a lady and granddaughter.
- 3/5
Ok
- 4/5
What I needed, no frills.
- 3/5
There were a lot of people hanging out in the parking lot that made us feel unsafe.
- 1.5/5
It was a place to stay, and had beds. That's about it for the good. We had dirty towels and rags in our room upon entry. One rag was still damp from the pervious occupant. They never came to render house keeping services during the entire week we stayed. After asking, we were told "house keeping services are performed every other day", which would have been fine, but our sheets were never changed, had questionable stains on the comforter, cigarette burn holes in some of the sheets, no iron, and the TV had a bad white spot and ripple in the screen on the right side. The location, is in the run down outskirts of DC. It's not overly bad, and I never felt unsafe, but I am used to this type of environment. There was a "lady of the night" or two in the parking lot from time to time which was entertaining to watch.
- 3/5
Parking easy and I believe safe. No food places nearby, except for a Mc Donalds with no pedestrians and a dunkin in a gas station. In terms of shops a Target, with 20 customers inside.. The area around does not feel safe to walk in, nor is there anything to see.
- 4/5
Good
- 0.5/5
The owners lied with the pictures
- 1/5
Horrible. Check in was a breeze, but as soon as we got there we found a huge roach that was ALIVE crawling around the bathroom. When we went to the front desk for support, the man there tried downplaying the situation saying they had just sprayed for roaches and said that it wasn’t alive when it very clearly was and it was moving. Huge headache to cancel and get a refund.
- 1/5
Location was good with parking and stores. Nothing else.
- 1.5/5
Yes. The rooms didn't look anything like the photos shown online when booking. It didn't look clean at all and should accurately be named a "Motel" and not a hotel.
- 5/5
All good
- 1.5/5
The room wasn't clean. The The heat wouldn't turn on.
- 1/5
The hotel is unsafe for solo travellers. There are no amenities, there is no elevator to second floor and lot of suspicious people who are loitering aound in the open parking lot, who were talking non-stop.
- 2/5
The room was dirty. Yet smelled of strong chlorine bleach. The tv was burnt out and unwatchable. The bed screeched with every movement. Empty and out of order vending machines. Not enjoyable at all. It was a roof over our heads for a night. Unfortunately just run down.
- 4/5
Yes Target just 2 minutes away
- 4/5
The fact that the hotel didn't have provision for breakfast.
- 1.5/5
IT WAS NASTY. LOOKED AND FELT DIRTY. SMELLED UNCLEAN. DIRT ON BASEBOARDS. BATHTUB LOOKED DIRTY.

- 1/5
Need to removed the place
- 0.5/5
The hotel has some type of horrible and offensive air freshener that will make you want to gag!
- 1/5
This is not a hotel it is a motel and the area is bad and not safe
- 5/5
Good hotel and experience
- 3/5
Staff was very helpful but facility is very old
- 0.5/5
Filthy, card for front door and room only works sometimes and no staff to help
- 1/5
The room towels had stains, the receptionist was arrogant. The coffee maker machine didn’t work and they had to come to room to figure it out.
- 3/5
The AC was making a lot of noise even we turn in on low level. It has great location and the best price
- 1/5
There’s no proper shower or partition. The sheets are dirty. There aren’t enough towels. It’s very unsanitary.
- 4/5
Lower budget hotel in DC that is very quiet.
- 1/5
The hotel rooms were beyond unclean, they were unsanitary. Under one of the beds we found feces, seemingly to be an animals. The beds contained hair as if they didn’t change the sheets. There were prostitutes, drug dealers, and even homeless people in and around the property. And to top it off, the shady, rude main desk worker refused to refund us when we only stayed not even an hour because “we used the beds” when all we did was sit on them and move the sheets, BECAUSE it was so dirty. He refused to acknowledge the fact that the place is crawling with prostitutes and drug dealers, maybe he’s even in on it. How Expedia even leaves this property up for booking is beyond me. If I could give this property a 0 I would, and that’s being generous. DO NOT STAY.
- 5/5
Wonderful
- 2/5
The Room Had A Week Stay With No Elevator & Only One Wash Cloth Per Room.
- 3/5
Its kind of in a shady area, but the room was ok for one night. Said non smoking but the room definitely smelled like strong smoke. It seemed clean enough other than that.
- 2/5
Satisfied location near Target store and gas station Dirty floor, no extra trash can in the washroom, saw insect/spider, door seal keep out cold air, and smell bad odor in the room.
- 0.5/5
The location is ok. Staff are rude, disrespectful. They lie and say they smell an order of smoke in the room so they can keep the deposit of $50. They dont have a current business license visible to consumers. When you challenge them on the nonsense; they in return threaten you with police interaction. THE OWNER AND HIS WIFE LIVE ON SITE. WHAT ARE WE REALLY PAYING FOR???
- 0.5/5
I would like to add more info, the room not clean when it was empty, small animal all over room, people stay other room are not safe, everywhere smell hashish people smoke hashish,Bath are very dirty, bath curtain are very dirty, tuvalet sits are disguasting,,room floor are very dirty, someone tell me the hotel reception was attacked three times with gunmen, the hotel base area second dangerous area in Washington, I didn’t like nothing
- 3/5
Smelled like smoke and had burns on bed spread burns on the dresser and even the refrigerator
- 2/5
No and no. Only close to a Target
- 5/5
Dislike no ice machine
- 5/5
it was ok
- 4/5
The area around is nice. There are things in walking distance.
- 5/5
My stay was great for the price. Front Desk guy was awesome. Parking lot was adequate. I walked to a brewery. Ubered to the club. Slept soundly she when I got back and checked out easily. Nothing fantastic about the place but I wasn't in town to hang in my room
- 5/5
Conviently located near clubs and entertainment district. Also great BBQ next door. Parking can be a little tight.
- 1.5/5
It was clean The noise all night from other customers going in and out slamming doors. Prostitution going in until 6am. The worst night I’ve ever spent at this property. I’ve stayed there over 6 times and this time was the worst.
- 5/5
Súper limpio el hotel es muy bueno
- 5/5
all of my stay n/a
- 5/5
You get what you pay for and for the price I paid the rooms were nice. I didn't get names but the front desk clerk that was there when I checked in was mean and rude. A couple days later I went into the office and a different clerk was there, he was nice, pleasant, and respectful
- 4/5
I didn't like the fact that they charged my credit card after I pay cash. The floor had a few crumbs and a little dirt .Could use some updates
- 3/5
Ask two times to change bed and more towels never happen
- 5/5
Excellent
- 3/5
Nothing
- 0.5/5
This is a MOTEL, so don’t be misled by its name. When we checked in, the staff was on the phone and continued talking during the check-in process, clearly showing a lack of concern for customer service. The pillows were dusty and had a gray substance on them, and the shower area was not clean at all; there was mold growing around the faucet.
- 1/5
Room was not clean. Heat wasn't working properly. Staff made little effort to help rectify the situation. May have been a short staffing issue as there was bad weather starting at the time. Cheap but would not recommend.
- 5/5
Only complaint there was two bugs/ roaches. one when i checked in and one when i checked out. and the beds are hard
- 4/5
Was staying at this hotel because we were attending a event at echostage . Hotel had its own parking which makes it very convenient and it’s somthing hard to find on DC. Room was pretty standard, their bed was surprisingly very comfortable ! We had an amazing night of sleep :)! Staff was very friendly as well. Our first room, a previous customer smoked in the room and made it smell terrible, the staff changed out room within seconds which we really appreciate ☺️ will stay again for the good price and convenient parking :)
- 5/5
Clean. Friendy. Love it.
- 3/5
friendly..bitter looking at all times Building needs better cleaning of floors.. Vending machines were always empty

I Googled 'crimes at Ivy City Hotel" 3 'gruesome' murders in 2023 - 2024: 'two homicides, gun, drug related safety breaches and a long string of violent crimes at the property SHAME on HOTELS.com for rating it 'Good' - Clearly they don't verify feedback i- no way this hell hole got 1000+ positive review it's a seedy crime ridden motel- prostitution and drug deals- I stayed there 7-night + during the few minutes I spent outside while waiting for an Uber in morning + being drop off at night I saw police cars 5 time. I never stepped outside my room after dark - but I could hear police banging on doors, screaming, big dogs barking, fighting. I need to be in DC because of a death in the family and wanted a hotel within 2 mile of their house in SE DC. I Googled to find out if the hotel was in a safe area + IVY City was described as a warehouse district that underwent a transformation into the HIPPEST AREA IN DC. Do not be fooled by the PR for - there are warehouses alright - but there's no transformation. This hotel is BLATANTLY MISREPRESENT on HOTELS.com s How can they describe a hotel multiple murders have taken last year, and years before, as good option for tourists visiting DC?
- 4/5
Clean room, amenities were good. The refrigerator keep everything fresh. The one thing that we had an issue with was our key card wouldn’t stay activated. Had to go to the office twice, no access to the room or ice machine
- 1/5
It’s was horrible no hot water it was dogs barking all night it was bad I wish I can get my money back
- 1/5
Location was good-bus stop around the corner and uber back $11-$15. Room was ok, we like to have a bath but plug wasn’t working, massive TV, bed was large but it was quite itchy. The main road is very noisy and the railway line is across the road. We stayed for 3 nights no cleaner came in, had to ask for fresh towels, no bath mats. Bed linen was limited, pillows were like blocks of wood. Lots of parking available.
- 5/5
Nice room
- 1/5
Bedbugs
- 4/5
Clean room. Cozy
- 2/5
The guy at the front desk doesn’t speak English and took forever to find my reservation going through. Hotels.com is very difficult for him to find the reservation. The shower had a very dirty mat. The bed wasn’t that comfortable, and there are zero food options at all, so if you’re flying in late at night, you’re completely stuck. There’s no water at the front desk or food.
- 5/5
Excellent service
- 2/5
There was no laundry no room service bed sheets are dirty towels are dirty. You can call ithotel maybe motel
- 1/5
had bugs and stains in the room. didn’t even get a refund. terrible experience still fighting w expedia and this hotel.
- 2/5
Convenient location, parking is good, really hard turns to get in/ out with traffic.
- 4/5
Gas station and target all in walking distance...called the hotel tat morning to let them know we gonna be a late check in...still charged the room for one night but credit back the next day. Didnt know we had to pay a $50 security deposit up front. Did get back at checkout. Other then that had a good experience
- 2/5
Rooms are basic. Bathroom was dated. They seemed clean. Was very loud on the weekend and you can hear the people who are above you. Parking is free, which is nice.
- 1/5
I honestly regret booking this place. From the moment I arrived, nothing went right. The check-in process was slow and unorganized, the staff seemed uninterested and unhelpful, and the overall service was terrible. The room itself was dirty — stains on the sheets, unpleasant odors, and the bathroom clearly hadn’t been cleaned properly. The noise level was awful, with thin walls and loud guests in the hallways all night, making it impossible to sleep. Safety also felt questionable, and the location wasn’t great either. For the price, this was a complete disappointment. I would never recommend this hotel to anyone.
- 5/5
Way better than I expected comfy room
- 3/5
To many ppl hanging out in the parking lot
- 4/5
Staff.... cause of the drastically low rate the staff is used to some rough customer and many needing the room only for a few hours. I can understand them being a bit guarded when working with guests. At the same time, they could be a bit more friendly. I ended up staying 3 nights. Last day I ended up being late getting back to the hotel to pack up my things and exit room by 11am. By the time I realized the time I was scrambling to find my phone to call them and they were calling me at 11:30am. They were very abrupt both on the phone and when I got back to the hotel. A lecture about how it was causing issues with housekeeping who needed to clean the room for incoming guests. A very grumpy lecture. Yes, I get it. And I apologized multiple times and was packed and gone I. About 10 minutes

When well I get my deposit
- 5/5
good rooms, excellent space and reasonable prices.
- 5/5
Every thing
- 5/5
Good place to stay
- 1/5
The room condition was okay, but the hotel environment is little scary. People standing in places and smoking cannabis (whole night). The hotel is just beside the main road. It was noisy while night. I will never go again. I was little worried if my car will get stolen.
- 1/5
Smoking smell everywhere

- 1/5
I didnt even stay for the entire duration. Sketchy people outside eyeballing my car, bugs in the tub, door wouldnt latch leaving me to feel unsafe, bed looked questionable as well as the bathroom linen. Its a hell no for me
- 4/5
It was nice and clean. Staff was respectful
- 2/5
There were a lot of people on the balconies.
- 3/5
Out of the way location
- 4/5
The property was neat and clean.
- 1/5
The internet speeds were TRASH. 128kbps in 2025. TWENTY TWENTY FIVE.
- 3/5
If I knew this was an after hour party gathering in the parking lot and guest rooms all night long, I would have found other accommodations.
- 1/5
Asked the front desk to ask that housekeeping resolve some things bc the room wasn’t cleaned properly. Nothing was done. When asked for clean towels and sheets to handle myself, front desk personnel responded very unprofessional and rude. Door looked as though it had been shot up and patched up… crackheads on property selling themselves and having arguments after. Just disgusting on all levels
- 5/5
Good value for money, rooms were clean, staff were pleasant, but very noisy property overall
- 5/5
Nice hotel
- 5/5
Fantastic for a night or two
- 4/5
The room and bathroom are clean.
- 5/5
Outstanding
- 5/5
Outstanding Customer service Lobby guys are Great specially the guy who covers morning shift until 3pm hands on !
- 4/5
It does the job, it was clean but we had three little pillows on our bed. The rooms are not well isolated and you can hear traffic and the train all night. There was people playing with water guns, running in and out of their bedroom into the parking lot. I wish someone would have managed the situation.
- 2/5
seems lot things to improve
- 2/5
Rude comments from the staff. Not wanting to let the customer explain the issue at hand.
- 2/5
The place has crackheads and prostitutes hanging around and staying in there

- 2/5
The staff in the main office were easy going & helpful, but it really is a motel. It’s clean but if you’re a hotel snob like I realized I am, you’ll definitely not like it. I stayed here for somewhere cheap for one night and the smell is what got to me. Smelled like smoke, alcohol, sweat and tears. If you just need somewhere to lay your head, it’s cheap place & not terrible. But if you want to feel more relaxed & not feel like you’re staying in the bottom tier, you might want to choose somewhere else.
- 3/5
The pictures were deceiving, it makes the property look better than it actually is. There was no shower curtain, did not offer to come clean room/more linen for 4 night stay. TV broke twice, each time we called and they took 45 minutes to show up. Looks like the started renovating bathroom, but stopped midway. Ceiling was patchy, potential leak. Very loud area.
- 1/5
I did
- 3/5
The staff was amazing but that’s about it. Beds are barely a step above sleeping on concrete, pillows had no support. Our bathroom shower curtain had a black hand print on it, some towels had black smudges across them. Also heard screaming from down the road all hours of the night.
- 4/5
Convince
- 3/5
Room was very simple but clean. No amenities. Parking was included. Not the best area.
- 5/5
Outstanding
- 4/5

- 3/5
Staff was great, accommodate our refund request. Hotel was typical motel, some permanent stains on the floor. Location its not the best one, quite scary especially at night.
- 5/5
It was super clean room and very comfy bed. Next to Target , TJ Max, Goodwill. Parking was the bonus. I am glad I went there.
- 1/5
The owners are very shifty and crude.
- 3/5
Good for a one night stay.
- 2/5
Below average and poor maintenance
- 5/5
The hotel it self is really nice, recently renovated and the staff is great. The location is good in terms of the stores and restaurants around. The neighborhood is not the safest at night, the price was good and the hotel serve us well.
- 1/5
Bed sheets was nasty and everything was broken or not clean.
- 1/5
The very worst hotel experience me and my friends ever had in our life - a total nightmare. My friend woke up from 1pm when there was a drug addict in the next room pounding the walls and at one moment it sounded like he was going to break into his room, he had to leave at 3pm. My other friend woke up a couple of times from a party next door - and this was a Monday night

- 5/5
I enjoyed my stay here,my room was clean and cozy
- 5/5
Very good
- 1/5
Terrible ended up leaving to stay somewhere else
- 2/5
I wouldn’t recommend it, try to find something a little better and make sure the location is a bit more safe.
- 4/5
The room smelled of cigarette smoke..
- 3/5
The Hotel truly is more of a motel style establishment. OWNERS SHOULD THINK ABOUT CLEANING THE A/C FILTERS TO HELP ALEVIATE THE SMELL OF SMOKERS . UNITS PULL AIR FROM OUTSIDE AND MOST GUEST SMOKE NEAR THE UNITS WHILE STANDING OUTSIDE. While its not near to much of anything it is cheap fairly clean and quiet. There is a shopping center within blocks with target and a few other shops. Great for people traveling since its close to major DMV travel routes. Beds were clean but matresses are worn and need replacing. You have to request room cleaning the day before. Bathrooms could use a bit more deep cleaning along with walls (random smears and chipped paint) its gated with security and 24 hour desk service. The laundry is outside near the ice machine and the washer is broken. The vending machine next to the main entraince is empty save for pea it bars and flavored waffers. There is also a soda machine next to the entrance but unsure if it was stocked since i didnt need to buy anything. Check in was easy. $50 additional refundable fee along with another random fee that drops off a day or so afyer check in. Booking on hotels app my charges were 620 for 4 nights . I was charged 670 at check in and signed the reciept but noticed 805 pending on my bank statement. The final charge was 670 and im waiting on my $50 to be refunded. I will update once it happens.
- 1/5
The bathroom fixtures didn’t work and the owner gave us a plunger to fix it ourselves.
- 2/5
The outside was dirt , there were a lot of please outside arguing and screaming lot a quiet environment at all , at some in point someone tried opening my door at 3am .
- 1/5
Garbage. The beds were dirty and uncleaned. The bathroom still had diarrhea from the previous person who stayed. The room smelled. Everything can be heard, including the streets which made it impossible to sleep at night. The room was changed three times but it was still in disgusting/absolutely deplorable condition. Left immediately.
- 5/5
Nice and clean
- 4/5
Upon entering my room the first thing I did was go into the bathroom as it was a long drive and noticed the toilet seat was dirty, there were 2 rolls of toilet paper, wrapped, on top of the toilet. but no toilet papret on the roll next to the toilet. I di not use the toilet due to it did not seem clean. I looked at the shower/tub, and saw a hair on the top of the tub. I started looking at the floor and noticed that there was dirt on the floor and could tell it had not been swept or vaccumed. I did not even want to look at the bed or pull down the sheets. I went to the offfice to tell them about the room and they did offer to switch my room. But the first thing he asked was, "you didn't use the bed did you?" I wasn't even there 30 minutes yet. SO NO I did not use the bed. I purposely got a room with a King sized bed. He said he could geive me a different room but it would be a room with a twin bed. It was a toom with 2 tein beds. I just neede it for one night so I said fine. But, he also said he would have to go with me to inspect the room I said was dirty first. I don't know if he didn't believe me that it was dirty or didnt believe that I didn't use the bed. Either way, I was fine with that and just wanted to get into the other room so I could get a shower, have dinner, I was meeting a friend. That bed was uncomfortable. Wont stay there again. Needs serious upgrades.
- 2/5
The was not comfortable at all. The towels had old dark spots on them. In the morning two cockroaches had captured the bathroom. My wife could not sleep because of the sirens, drag races and other noise issues. We canceled our second nights stay and the manager was kind enough to issue us a credit. However Expedia should remove them from the list of places to stay in this area.
- 2/5
That eventually stopped but the floor stayed wet. It was really noisy outside by traffic and people staying there. Also it’s quite far from the nearest Metro station, half a hour walking. So be prepared to walk for that.
- 1/5
This is worst “MOTEL”
- 4/5
Property is clean and quiet
- 1/5
This place is definitely a scam. The pictures are great so kudos to the photographer, but it is a poorly refurbished motel with a new coat of paint. The bed had stained sheets and the room was not as pictured. It is also not in a great area. I did not feel safe and did not stay the night.
- 4/5
The room rate and the free parking are good. The rooms are adequate. The outside noise was a bit much.
- 1/5
Very dirty! Everywhere. There was mold in the kettle! Unpleasant smell in the room and poor ventilation. Stains on the towels and a frozen freezer in the refrigerator, so it did not turn off and worked constantly. We wanted to see Washington, but not this horror. My child and I were there for 6 nights and I really regret that I chose this hotel.
- 3/5
The staff were very nice and helpful. The vending machines were broken. No restaurants in the area, but there was a target close by. The buses ran limited stops. Good price.
- 1/5
The room inside looked pretty decent however the hotel is not inna grear area. Seems to be close to the homeless. My major issue like alot of folks is the air conditioner and a/c how the have it locked to where you can put the temperature if your room to where you are comfortable. My a/c unit would not go past 76 the 1st night and they could not fix it and no alternative rooms available. The 2nd night it wouldnt go below 70 but again why CANT I CONTROLL IT. This is like section 8 project houses living where yiu can't control your central air. The offered me a lousy 20% discount where i should be either given at least 50% of the 1st night or the 1st night full compensated. Will never stay here again. Run away. Just spend the extra money. Only good thing was free parking. I'll give them thst benefit.
- 4/5
It seemed like it was a refurbished Super * Motel. I've had experiences where those type of hotel, and it was not pretty. I suppose this is one is one start above it, however I was very nervous about anything strange coming out of the walls. Needless to say, nothing bad happened, however, one of our uber driver did mention, after they got us to our destination, that the hotel was a place of "working girls" and that someone was found dead in one of the rooms. None of that had left me feeling warm and fuzzy inside, in fact it had me thinking more or what I had felt to begin with, which was this was not a good place. But we were there for business and the other hotels were booking up fast, and this was the most affordable in a short time.
- 4/5
Apparently, this hotel used to be a rundown drug spot, but apparently they did some renovations and got it straight and my stay was pretty pleasant. It’s in an awkward location and some of the other hotels in the area are sketchy, but I can’t say I have any complaints about this one. Because of the architecture and design of the hotel, some of the rooms are in a blind spot. In fact, there are too many blind spots, but it wasn’t a problem for me. It’s just something a single woman would want to be aware of.
- 1/5
Bad
- 5/5
The staff was very nice and helpful.
- 1/5
No Customer Experience at all, I had to ask everyday for linen and the front desk staff was not pleasant.

No clothes hangers in the room. No iron. No ironing board.

Very dangerous area, don’t let the pictures fool you. After years of using Expedia this is the first time I have ever left a hotel shortly after checking out (eating the cost of course)

Very drab, not clean. Did not feel comfortable, did not stay overnight.

The property is very misleading from the pictures. It is quite rundown. The improvements they attempted looks very cheaply done. And the choice in materials reflect that. The agent stressed it was a non smoking property. Upon entering the room, it was obviously smoked in. Very strong smell of smoke and a terrible air freshener sprayed over it that lingered my short stay. Luckily I was only there for six hours. Which is why I didn't make a fuss to change rooms.

Space was dirty, rat drippings were all over the bed. Had to clean the bathroom myself. Requested flat sheets to cover the mattress after I stripped the bed.

The room was clean. It worked, but I would not stay here again. I had to go to front desk for clean towels, toilet paper. Cleaning staff never came to clean or replenish towels. I was also propositioned by a women while leaving my room to go have some dinner.
