Reviews
The hotel received mixed reviews, with guests praising the cleanliness, comfortable rooms, and friendly staff. However, many guests complained about the outdated facilities, lack of housekeeping service, and issues with breakfast. Some guests also mentioned problems with the carpet, bathroom, and shower.

Great hotel. Outdated but very clean. Staff were amazing. Some of the wooden rails around the property were in need of repair. Overall a great stay.
- 3/5
Shower head loose and squrting water everywhere. Wallpaper peeling off wall
- 5/5
Reasonable room rate - excellent value. Only change would be more fresh fruit options for breakfast as it is located in the apple and cherry growing area! Lovely staff to interact with. Would stay again
- 5/5
The Hotel was good, the morning breakfast was great ,
- 1/5
Air conditioning did not work. I talked to the front desk and they didn't send someone. I requested help again-they sent someone but the solution was to provide me a box fan. The room was 72 degrees.
- 3/5
Basics are ok! took 15 min to check in. 3 folks in line. Breakfast tasty but arrived 8:30 and no potato…….
- 2/5
The entire hotel needs to be redone. All the carpets were held together with duct tape, it smelled and was just dirty everywhere. The breakfast was pathetic and the yogurt I was about to eat was over 2 months old! I also had to have maintenance come and remove a live bird from my bathroom vent.
- 2/5
The desk attendant’s first word to me was “no” when I asked about early check-in. Then another no about the pool. She patronized me with “sweetie” and clearly was on a power kick. The breakfast buffet was out of certain platters and coffee. It seemed unclean and sloppily organized. I will not be returning.
- 5/5
Very clean and I liked the staff. Lots of parking for my extended work truck.
- 2.5/5
The location is good. Plenty of food places to choose from for a family with young kids front desk staff are nice. The hotel manager gave my kids some chips. They liked that. There was a lot of door slamming until 930 pm I found fake eyelash extensions on the bathroom counter and a large screw on the floor behind the front door. There should be another lock on the balcony sliding door my 6 yr old unlocked it and was on the balcony when I went to use the bathroom.
- 4/5
The property is dated but it was clean with large rooms.
- 3/5
It needs to be cleaned. There were stains in the carpet and the walls, and we had an issue with the shower not working. Ultimately it needs a deep cleaning done to the whole place and just more maintained.
- 4/5
It’s a good place to stay
- 5/5
Great breakfast and convenient to shopping
- 4/5
Very reasonable price.. great location ...huge room Not much...its just an older place..
- 5/5
Exceptional
- 3/5
Overall, a good value. I grew up in the area when this was THE Place! Huge potential with a thorough update. Rooms were quite acceptable- need to update everything else!
- 5/5
It’s an older property but you can tell it was well built. Clean rooms. Comfy beds, big pool. Helpful staff. I will stay here again and again.
- 4/5
The property was clean but needs a lot of upgrades. The wood fence around the pool is rotting, the carpet in the hallway is wrinkling, and you can tell they used to allow a lot of smoking in the hotel. The breakfast did not provide a lot of fresh food. We skipped it the second morning we were there. The pool was cold but the hot tub was perfect. If you are staying here as just a place to sleep overnight then it will be fine but otherwise it has seen better days.

Check in great Bed not very comfortable, tried to use hot tub, but not open
- 3.5/5
Location was great.
- 1/5
I booked a room through Expedia for $90. I have stayed here many times before and new it was pet friendly. In the past the pet fee was $25. When I checked in, I was charged an additional $75 for my dog!
- 5/5
Very friendly staff and a great breakfast. There is always a fresh pot of coffee at the front desk. Hotel could use some renovations especially the hallway carpets and behind reception. We enjoy our stays at this hotel and lots of places to eat close by.
- 3.5/5
3-11 Pm staff she was a female was really nice and friendly, housekeeping is very good at keeping up with their duties never disappointed in them! Morning breakfast could be better with restocking. front desk should have some more items people need for there room as in trash bags and ice bags.
- 3.5/5
Good
- 3/5
Property is really run down
- 3/5
It was clean! Comfortable! The right ants in the bathroom. That's the only thing I really didn't like. Other than that everything was good
- 3/5
Room was clean and comfortable. Location was good. Hallway carpeting was rippled and taped down in several places. Woodwork inside and out was chipped and peeling. Pigeons were roosting in many outside areas of the building. Breakfast was less than adequate - no fruit, no yogurt, no bread for toast, no hot water for tea, cereal dispensers empty.
- 3/5
The carpet in the hallways needs to be stretched, tripping hazard in numerous places. Gym equipment needs attention. Need to update their website and QR code for property. Buffet breakfast times were different than listed. No lounge or cafe onsite. Place is just ok.
- 5/5
Basic amenities, hot tub and pool a plus. Beds comfortable. Staff helpful and friendly.
- 5/5
The room was comfortable and a good value.
- 4/5
Very good
- 3/5
Pleasant
- 5/5
We stayed here for two nights. The price was reasonable. It is located at a very convenient place. The breakfast was sufficient, though I will recommend adding some fruit. Overall - a happy experience.
- 3/5
The room was well-appointed. The tile work in the bathroom was in good condition and seemed above average. It just could use a little sprucing up. But it was also very value priced, which was a plus for us as we were traveling each day to the Gorge. The "breakfast" was kind of disappointing. I was also confused as to whether it was included. Staff asked me. So that was confusing. All in all, reasonable stay. I wish it could be what it obviously once was.

The hallway carpets were loose and they tried to use duct tape to keep them flat, but still was a tripping hazard. Every time someone turned on the shower a loud squealing noise could be heard in the surrounding rooms, making for an early wake up . And the amount of bird poop on the balcony made it unusable.
- 4/5
Then the receptionist behind the counter sprung into action. Her name was Sammy. She started calling around and was constantly told there was no vacancies. She was incredible. She just kept pushing on our behalf and was relentless. She would ask the listener if they knew of any vacancy. All of a sudden she struck gold and secured a room for us on the Wenatchee avenue strip. We couldn’t believe it. Sammy saved our Wenatchee holiday. She never gave up. She never sent us away. She just got down to making sure we were looked after. The Red Lion should be proud of having an employee that cares as much about people as Sammy does. She was just terrific and met us everyday with huge smile and a Hi and just made us glad we stayed there and got to meet her. Thank you Red Lion and a big hug goes to Sammy!
- 5/5
The price was significantly cheaper than other local properties, and the stay was very comfortable and quiet!

Great service!

Room smelled a little like old carpet/ musky

Good stay for the price
- 3/5
no breakfast left on first morning at 8am very crouded no place to set did not have time or feel like staying until more was made. second day was better but still had to wait for some thing to get served.
- 3.5/5
I can honestly say there wasn't anything I really had a problem with
- 1/5
I woke up to ants in my room all over the furniture.
- 5/5
Great rooms! Very clean. Workout room was nice. Great location with everything within walking distance. Staff was outgoing and friendly Loved having my own balcony!
- 4/5
Clean room and good breakfast.
- 2/5
The hotel needs to go under extreme remodeling. All of it is old and falling apart the entire lobby and hall ways carpet is ducked taped together and to the walls . The hotel was clean but it was clean as much as they could do. The outside of the hotel is very very deceiving. all the money went on the outside to make it look nice and left the inside with nothing. The breakfast was okay, nothing stuck out. Had basic options. Our AC was broken and it was hot this past weekend, and we opened up the sliding glass door when we were in our room, but we were gone most of the days during the day so when we came back to the night it was miserable hot to sleep. I didn’t bother to complain to staff because it was a tournament weekend and every hotel in town was booked, but I’m really honestly could have looked pass the run down hotel, if my ac was working.
- 1/5
It was a very unpleasant experience. The hotel had a bad odor, plus plumbing issues all weekend. I would have changed hotels if I could have found a room else where.
- 3/5
Property needs serious updates but staff is friendly and helpful. Iron dod not work.
- 3/5
Everything was clean. I was not happy with the bed. It was supposed to be a queen size bed but was only a full size. The pictures showed a more comfortable chair and not the one that was in my room. Some furniture was older and showing wear and tear but otherwise clean and maintained.
- 5/5
Clean room and nice staffs
- 3/5
Red Lion has been there a while so obvious wear and tear you see all over the building itself, but outside seems to be maintained well enough and it's close enough to various interesting spots so overall it's a good place to stay a while and discover Wenatchee
- 1/5
I would not recommend at all !
- 4/5
TV dud not work. At first I was given one queen bed instead of the double queen bed I requested. I had to let them know.
- 5/5
great breakfast and loved the hot tub
- 3/5
Need better equipment in gym. Carpet is due to be replaced.
- 4/5
It's good,nothing special.
- 5/5
Room was great. View was good. Only thing was fire alarm went off at 5 am and went for like a hr. Other than that great place.
- 5/5
Good value in Wenatchee, breakfast included.
- 3/5
Rooms need updating. Fire alarm went off at 5:30am and building had to evacuate for an hour with no updates from staff
- 5/5
Breakfast menu was great. AC and Heat was great, just click and you have it.
- 4/5
The breakffast was OK but much like the food the Army is served in the field. Too much adherancce to time linrs by shift manager. Shower was barely a trickle of water (not too bad at 3AM). Didn't get to sleep in because of electrical fire/fire alarm.
- 5/5
The staff are super sweet and professional. They gave us awesome recommendations about where to eat and how to find our way around. We were pleased enough that we kept extending our stay. The room was clean, comfortable and safe.with the
- 2/5
Our first night rest was rudely awakened by a 5:30am fire alarm that required us to evacuate the building. It was good to know the fire alarm worked. The breakfast was average but I never saw a staff member working the area over a two night stay and some food items ran out during the service.
- 2/5
So far so good! The soundproofing of the room is not good, and the sound of walking upstairs can be heard,.
- 3/5
This is an older property, and while its age is noticeable, it is generally clean and maintained.
- 2/5
The room smelled bad like maybe the carpet needed some cleaning . The bath ceiling look like it’s rotting with mold spots and needs to be looked at.
- 5/5
Yes sammy was great at the front desk
- 5/5
Room was very clean. Great staff very friendly. Breakfast was fresh.
- 5/5
Nice stay! Always love the Red Lion.
- 5/5
Yes and yes
- 5/5
clean rooms
- 3/5
The staff was nice. Kinda run down. A lot of issues with rooms.
- 4/5
Good stay, wish there was a more convenient elevator. But I don’t mind the stairs.
- 5/5
I enjoyed my stay
- 3/5
After multiple complaints the next few days were much better for food service. The property has an older smell in part of the hotel but most of the hotel is good. Some upgrades with the A/c done in rooms but hot tub was not fixed from previous years and some maintenance is not done ie : fences and buildings around outside. Pool was not open and hot tub closes too early 9pm (exactly)
- 5/5
Clean and safe hotel. We stayed five nights during Apple Blossom Festival week. Hotel was convenient to everything we wanted to do during our stay. Close to downtown Wenatchee, Pybus Market, Amtrak train station, etc. Proximity to Amtrak station was much-appreciated because we did two separate day trips into Seattle during our stay. Train left Wenatchee at 5:35 am and returned shortly before 10 pm. Nice to have a quick 5-10 minute drive in both directions. Breakfast was excellent and breakfast area was spacious. Plenty of parking at hotel and numerous entry/exit doors at the hotel. Friendly staff that obviously cater to their guests. We have had multiple great stays at Red Lion - Wenatchee, and we plan to stay here again on any future trips.

Pool closed!!
- 5/5
Front desk lady was very patient for helping us check in. There were some guests being pretty loud and rude at the lobby when she’s helping us and she asked them to be quiet. Really appreciate it.
- 5/5
Everything was up to par. Breakfast was pretty good
- 2/5
- 5/5
Breakfast, staff and room felt excellent and welcome
- 5/5
The room was nice and clean and the staff was very friendly. Will stay here again.
- 4/5
They don’t clean the room that well
- 4/5
Bed was comfortable
- 4/5
Beds were comfortable and linens fresh and clean. Property is old and needs updating. They have a liberal pet/stay policy.
- 5/5
Always stay at this property in Wenatchee.
- 5/5
A but outdated rooms but, it got the job done and was clean
- 2/5
This was one of the worst hotel rooms I’ve ever seen. The “non-smoking” room had clearly been smoked in. The carpet was covered in stains, and the bed had a gritty, sand-like substance in it that made it obvious it hadn’t been properly cleaned. The bathroom was worse. There was dried, sticky residue on the floor that looked like bodily fluids, along with visible trash left in the room. It honestly felt unsanitary to even be in there. I wasn’t comfortable taking my shoes off, let alone staying the night. At that point, the room was completely unusable for me and I left. The ONE good thing about this hotel, was the staff. They were amazing, and tried to help me the best that they could within their policies. I checked out within 15 minutes of arriving and went to another hotel to stay. 10/10 do NOT recommend this property.
- 1/5
The hotel experience was not what I expected checking in was an obstacle staffing. Did not know what they were doing. The room was small and I reserved a room, but two beds but I got a one bed. Bathroom sink has a slow drain flooring was dirty and old and needed to be replaced. I booked the hotel based on the reviews of the pool, but the pool was not working the best thing about the hotel was the food The breakfast was amazing and the staff serving was amazing .
- 4/5
Hot tub was not hot enough.
- 3/5
No hot tub available, rooms and hotel were very stuffy feeling, not enough fresh air. Evening desk clerk was very unhelpful and gave wrong information.
- 5/5
Nice place
- 4/5
Hot tub was great breakfast was bad .
- 1/5
Our tv also didn’t work half the time, and the beds sunk in the middle. They refunded me $50… but honestly that wasn’t really enough. I didn’t want to argue so I just took it and left.
- 5/5
This hotel was great and very reasonably priced. We also had a change in our plans, as the conference we were attending was cut short and we did not need to stay the third night. The staff was very understanding and refunded us for that night. Whenever we are in Wenatchee, we will definitely stay at the Red Lion Hotel Wenatchee again!
- 4/5
Clean room, friendly staff. The breakfast needed refilling at some stations more regularly. Overall a good stay.
- 5/5
Best part: The TEAM!!! Helpful, kind, resourceful.
- 2/5
Room was old and out dated kinda smelled musky. Cigar left on balcony
- 2/5
The room was clean, but the shower was terrible, the shower head sprayed everywhere but on you, the shower curtain would waft up and engulf you, the beds mattress was horrible, the desk chair looked like it was picked up from the side of the road. Breakfast was served from 7:00 am to 10:00 am, I got there at 7:30 am on Saturday, they were out of biscuits, the coffee was being refilled, the dried up sausage patties were almost out, and when the coffee did arrive it was full of coffee grounds, on Sunday, there were no plates! The website said there was a restaurant/bar on-site…there wasn’t. I won’t be staying at any Red Lion again, not for those prices!
- 2/5
Property is dated. Second floor smelled of creosote. Broken furniture. Rooms are pretty soundproof; barely heard trains.
- 4/5
The room was nice and big! Very clean. However, the motel is backed up to the Railroad tracks and trains went by all during the night. The carpets in the common area were not well maintained and really needed to be stretched again. They charged me an additional $40 damage deposit which has not been refunded yet. Also wanted to charge me $75 for a pet. On the website it said $25 pet fee. The breakfast was good. Parking was good.
- 4/5
Clean room
- 4/5
No decaf coffee. Food not labeled at continental breakfast
- 4/5
Breakfast was good but need more variety
- 4/5
A bit dated, but clean and the staff are very friendly and helpful
- 2/5
The property was ran down not what I was expecting. It was clean and front desk was friendly but won't be staying again unless the do some Interior upgrading.
- 1/5
Run down property. Breakfast sausage was hard as tack. I'll stay at a comfort in next time before I come back here.
- 4/5
Good for a night!
- 5/5
Paid but had to miss didn’t start until 7:00
- 3/5
The hotel is nice and clean but it really is in need of renovation. My bathroom had cracked tiles all over and the decor is pretty dated. I had to go purchase a wall plug because they didn’t have any USB ports. There was only one plug on either side of the bed for charging. I loved that there was a balcony which o hope they keep. I thicker blanket/comforter would be appreciated. I sleep hot and o had to get up and turn the heat on because the comforter was about as thick as a sheet of paper. It would be nice to have the ability to connect to streaming services. Not a terrible experience but not a very modern one. Definitely time for a remodel.
- 4/5
Room was clean and quiet. Staff was friendly and check in quick and simple. Overall facilities are pretty run down (worn carpet, tears held down by duct tape, chipped paint, worn wood). But if you’re looking for a decent bed and a quiet room for a great price then this was a good stay. I didn’t try the pool or breakfast so can’t comment on that.
- 1/5
Staff was rude checking in. Rooms need updated
- 5/5
First time staying here and was pleasantly surprised. The room was super clean . The bathroom was so clean and shiny. It is an older hotel so you can see a few things that need an upgrade. Staff was pleasant and friendly. Will stay again.
- 5/5
Check in was easy. The room was nice and clean. Check out was easier than checking in.
- 4/5
The staff was very friendly and helpful
- 5/5
Good food friendly staff
- 1/5
We woke up to a huge bug in our room- the rugs are not clean- they are so old I am not sure they come clean. The rugs are held together with duct tape in many areas. The staff was welcoming but I expected more from having a huge bug in our room- we were then moved to a room just down the hall and we walked into an AC/ heating unit that had to be fixed. The whole hotel needs a huge upgrade.
- 2/5
The hot tub was luke warm and filthy with debris all over in it. The jets were not working and when staff was notified she was dimissive. The pool is seasonal and was closed which is not.in the description. We were told there would be biscuits and gravy at breakfast when we checked in and there was none. There was mold on the bread at breakfast. The beds are too stiff and guests in the upper floor were loud and dirsturbed my sleep several times. The tiles in the bathroom had failing grout. The doorways, frames and doors and furniture were scratched and worn. The carpet had ducttape along the seam in the hallway.
- 1/5
Fix the plumbing and replace the carpets.. duct tape is not a fix.
- 4/5
Clean room, friendly staff and ver convenient location made this a great stay overall. The beds are very comfortable but the rooms certainly have seen better days. They were clean but outdated.
- 5/5
rooms very nice and clean
- 4/5
Great value and overall clean. Just what I hoped for.
- 5/5
Staff, breakfast, room
- 5/5
It has been well maintained and I would stay here again.
- 5/5
always consistent and comfortable.
- 4/5
Appreciate the size of rooms, breakfast and price. We were disappointed the hot tub closed at 9pm.
- 3/5
Pet friendly should not mean dogs barking all night. Aren't there rules agsinst this, or at least staff wandeing the halls on occasion to quiet down unruly (4-legged) guests?
- 3/5
Red Lion was once the preferred hotel chain in the Northwest. It's obvious that the new ownership is letting these properties deteriorate. The back side of the building outside is just horrible, downright scary in fact. The hallway carpet seams are held together with duct tape and stained in many spots. As for the room, the bed was OK, and the bathroom was very clean! Several large stains in the room carpert though. Otherwise, it was clean. No dust, etc. I would say overall, if you're on a budget, there are many worse options in Wenatchee. Not sure that I will stay again unless this property is remodeled. The hot breakfast was par with most other hotel chains. Scrambled eggs, sausage, toast, etc. Nothing to brag about. The staff acted as if they would rather be somewhere else. I don't know, it's just sad to see this once-superior hotel chain go down the drain! I reiterate that it appears the housekeeping staff works very hard to keep it clean. The bathroom is very clean! We didn't use the pool or anything. The area around the pool looked well-kept despite the building exterior being in desperate need of repair, paint, etc.
- 4/5

- 5/5
Very friendly staff
- 3/5
Did not visit
- 4/5
Some minor issues but cleanliness and staff were all good.
- 1/5
No the gym was three different exercise machines and the rest of them was copies it's not pretty much sucked there was ants every time I turned around covering the bathroom floor the toilet the side of the tub on the bed ect.... Mice in the cabinets at their way had to throw away bread cereal anything that could get in was thrown away not happy at all with the Red Lion also they lie
- 5/5
Enjoy my stay. will be staying again
- 5/5
It’s was clean
- 5/5
Cool thanks
- 5/5
It's first class all the way,
- 4/5
Our room was clean. The heating/cooling system is old and made noise all night.
- 5/5
The stairs to level 300 rooms was never vacumed during my stay, it had food crumbs scattered on the steps during the whole stay. Also the bath room faucet leaked water onto the counter constantly.
- 3/5
Clean room. Friendly staff. Needs a new mattress for the bed, carpeting needs updating, but that’s probably why it was a lower price than anywhere else.
- 5/5
We had a great stay and the staff (Candido- sp?) or super helpful. He was working so hard. He was the only staff on duty and was doing such a good job at the front desk he was friendly and helpful and kept his cool evil when people were being total jerks
- 5/5
Outdated decor is the only negative I have. If your room is on floor 100. Getting the to it is easier parking near the closet door and coming in from outside. There are carts by that door. Ask the front desk which door is closest.
- 5/5
The room was very clean and very spacious. The concierge was very nice and very helpful.
- 3/5
Also, I forgot some items and after contacting the staff and paying for the shipping charges to send them to me, it took 2 weeks from the time I paid and a shipping label generated for the hotel to actually put the package in the mail.
- 4/5
The staff didn’t offer the buffet breakfast.
- 4/5
Great for the price
- 4/5
Front desk staff were extremely helpful, beds were comfortable and the breakfast was better than fast food.
- 5/5
Nice staff
- 5/5
Comfortable. Clean. Staff was nice.
- 3/5
Microwave in room did not work, clock was unplugged, TV would power on but no input signal
- 5/5
Nice
- 5/5
Room was clean and staff great.
- 5/5
I enjoyed soaking myself in the hot tub.
- 5/5
Nice stay, close to the historic downtown and quiet. Excellent water pressure in the shower and good breakfast
- 2/5
The location of the place was fine. Not to far from food and shops. The breakfast for what you pay for was tasty. Now to the 👎 bad. We came out that way for my Husband's birthday as he requested. Went to go into room and a nail snagged my hoodie pocket. Luckily didn't rip. The room was so hot it took opening the back door to cool it down as the Ac was not working fast enough. Because of that we ended up with flying bugs in the room as our balcony was basically a big tree. Next the bed felt weird as if it was lopsided well it was ripped just hiding under the sheet. Next went to use restroom to get snagged on 2 nails in the entry to the bathroom. Finally fell asleep to get woken up by upstairs people who sounded like Bigfoots stomping back and forth. Went back to sleep and then got woken up to the loudness at 4 am of the shower upstairs as well. Finally decided I needed a shower to see what looked like mold and said he'll no. There were other issues on walls and sink etc. There was just so many issues for what I paid for. Just ridiculous. This review is what I sent to Google .
- 1/5
Hot tub was closed. Room outdated. Ant infested bathroom. Early checkout fee of $50! Will never book again!!!!
- 2/5
Other guest were disrespectful by being loud really late at night or early in the morning. Although friendly, the staff are lazy. With better management this could be a great hotel. It has so much potential.
- 5/5
Great stay, great price, comfortable room. Will stay again.
- 4/5
Room was clean and comfortable.
- 5/5
Yes
- 4/5
The staff were extremely nice! The breakfast was good and plenty.
- 1/5
Couldn't check in because they wanted a $150 dollar deposit when I showed them my ID. It said it was only a $40 deposit online when I booked the room
- 5/5
Great service
- 5/5
As always, my stay was relaxing and enjoyable. Staff is very courteous abd efficient.
- 5/5
Very clean and spacious room, comfortable beds, friendly staff and good breakfast selection. The hotel could use updating but it's still clean and comfortable - and a great value!
- 5/5
The front desk was very kind and helpful. The room was clean.
- 5/5
NA
- 2/5
The breakfast area was so Cold and the tables were dirty and no staff present! Items were running Low and not one person was checking anything Hotels in completely worn out, rugs are taped Together with duct tape!
- 2/5
The staff tried to assign me a room very close to the railroad. As a frequent guest at this hotel, I asked him to switch to a room away from the railroad. Then, I realized that the room's carpet was dirty with ketchup and had several cookie pieces on it. Since I checked in late at night and was quite tired, I decided to take that room. When I visit Wenatchee again in March, I think I should think about a different lodging option.
- 4/5
Had a good experience!

For practical amenities, there was a power strip that had plenty of outlets, a large LG TV, a cabinet with a soft close door, which is great because the people in the surrounding rooms need them. The cabinet also holds the mini-fridge to contain its noise. The beds were comfortable. The room was very clean.
- 1/5
Very disappointed!
- 5/5
Amazing experience at the hotel, the staff people very friendly and nice, they helped out with my car and they were very nice with my wife in that moment when we estrese whit the car issues.
- 5/5
very comfy room.
- 5/5
The hotel was nice and clean.
- 4/5
Big room
- 4/5
Nice room overlooking courtyard with comfy beds. Hotel carpets and shower could be updated but fine and staff very nice and location perfect for our needs.
- 5/5
It’s worth money and staff are nice !
- 3/5
The room service could be better.
- 1/5
We checked out the same night we got there and went and had to find another hotel to stay in. I have pictures…. There was mouse poop in the bathroom and it smelled like pee in there really bad, there was old blood stains on our bedding and out side of our room there was water leaking from the ceiling and we were on the bottoms floor there was wha looked like black mold on the ceiling as well.
- 4/5
Very clean, but an older facility that once was very nice. It needs repair and updating. We discovered ants in the bathroom. It was very quiet, and our room was quite large with two queen beds. The beds were very comfortable, but other furniture not so much.
- 3/5
The water for the shower kept switching from hot to cold on its own. And they need a new mattress in the room i stayed in
- 5/5
The staff were very helpful
- 5/5
The young lady that checked me in was very courteous and helpful even though she was obviously busy checking people in. My room was clean and comfortable and had everything I needed. I was in a hurry the next morning, so the breakfast layout was perfect! Thank you, I will see you again the next time I am in Wenatchee.
- 5/5
We were so impressed by the size and space of the room, as well as the cleanliness and decor! The staff were so helpful, the hot tub was great, and we loved the breakfast. The whole experience was perfect for our party of four!
- 3/5
Staff was friendly but nothing else was what we thought is was. Hotels.com says $25 per pet per night fee. We get to the hotel and are charged $75 for one per one night. Hotels.com says the reservation includes two breakfasts. Get to the hotel and find out everyone has to pay additional $7+ tax for breakfast. I Scan the QR code in the room(which was put there by the hotel itself) for the hotel directory…it says breakfast is served at 6am. Nope. No breakfast until 7. Had to be to a tournament by 7 so we couldn’t eat at the hotel.

The room was great and the staff was courteous.
- 5/5
Great location, walking distance to whatever needed. Friendly staff, clean room, great value for breakfast.
- 4/5
Always enjoy staying there. Staff is friendly and the rooms are always clean.
- 5/5
Room was nice and clean, temperature was perfect, bed was also comfortable. I definitely would consider to come back again!
- 5/5
The room was very comfortable, spacious, and clean. The staff was helpful and very kind. We were there a total of 2 weeks and really enjoyed being there. It is an older hotel, but neat and clean, and so comfortable!
- 5/5
It was a last minute decision to stay here and it turned out to be a good one. The rooms were clean and spacious, the staff courteous, and the hot tub clean and hot. Others say the place is dated, and it is, but it is dated in a good way. Has a retro vibe that hearkens to the 80's. That said, the bathrooms were somewhat updated and the beds comfortable. Great value.
- 4/5
Room was excellent, always enjoy staying there staff is wonderful
- 1/5
Staff couldn’t find my booking at first. Person i speaked to was rude very outdated room but close to everything
- 4/5
The room was great, the hotel is a nice place I just feel they need to put new carpet in the public areas!
- 5/5
Room was clean. Personnel were super duper amazing and kind. Greeted when we first walked in and a very happy good morning. We did not get a chance to eat breakfast this time but we will in June.
- 4/5
Worn and tired hall carpet, room walls, and shower walls. Also, no making up of the room unless requested. That's ok, but there isn't a self-service spot to refill your coffee or shampoo things.
- 5/5
Staff is outstanding! Coffee was great and rooms were clean. Loved my stay
- 4/5
Staff was very helpful and nice!
- 5/5
Great place

All of it
- 2/5
Hotel is in a good area. Our room was freezing as the heater was not working . Called front desk several times to ask if someone could fix it . Was told the maintenance guy was gone and they didn’t have anyone else . Was asked to troubleshoot to try to reset it . Did not work . Could not sleep of how cold it was , called the front desk again and was definable offered to be moved to another room . Had to pack all our stuff and move . Very inconvenient. Rooms were very outdated .
- 2/5
Our bathroom had mold growing on the ceiling so i called and got another room but i feel the stay wasnt as good as it normally is for us as we are frequent visitors from out of town.
- 4/5
Spacious room Good breakfast Good location
- 5/5
Worth the price definitely I wil definitely come back front desk stuff was friendly with an exception of the gay is on front desk at night i did not get his name but he speaks Spanish ,he can definitely be more friendly and give more information He act like he was mad at us Didn't provide us with any information of the breakfast time ,amenities or any information for us to used in our stay Very sharp on his answers ,no welcome , greeting or ,anything

Breakfast is subpar with very limited options. Overall it’s a pleasant stay
- 2/5
No hot water cold shower
- 2/5
Room had a terrible sound coming from the bathroom. My daughter has sensory issues and the high pitched loud buzzing sound was terrible!!
- 5/5
Clean room, humble staff, good breakfast
- 4/5
Spacious room, clean. Location was great, stores within walking distance. Check in/out was quick.
- 3/5
I thought this was part of the national chain of red lion hotels , but it’s its own entity so it’s a little rundown, but definitely clean
- 5/5
Location of the hotel was great, clean room and good coffee in the morning
- 4/5
Nice staff. Great breakfast. Wood around pool fence needs to be replaced
- 5/5

- 1/5
With a pillow over our heads!! Terrible!!
- 5/5
The best hotel for the price, clean, big rooms
- 2/5
The room was unwelcoming for multiple reasons: brown stains on the shower curtain, hair on the bed that was freshly made and a musky stench in the room. The receptionist at the check in desk lacked eye contact, enthusiasm and this individual seemed like they did not want to be there.
- 5/5
Great stay, besutiful view.
- 2/5
The hotel was good except the man at the front desk at night. At evening before we went to bed I asked my son to go and bring a blanket for my 87 years old mother, she was very cold. My son went to the front deck and the man said that he does not have any blankets. After that I called him on the phone and he said that I have to come to him to the front desk to get a blanket. I , my son and my mother, we all came downstairs, and the man at the front desk finally game us a blanket. He was very unprofessional and rud. It was a very unpleasant experience.
- 3/5
Comfy bed and hot shower, disheveled appearance inside and out.
- 3/5
Photos from hotel listing are very old. Hotel color is now very dark. Dining room picture shows original front hotel entrance and original hotel sign. Many chairs no longer have support. Good dining options within walking distance!
- 5/5
Room was very clean
- 3/5
This property is in need of a renovation. Not well maintained.
- 4/5
Clean room
- 4/5
Like staying there staff is friendly and kind.
- 4/5
Room served my needs. Desk staff was very welcoming. Breakfast was good and seamed to be loaded up when needed.
- 3/5

- 5/5
Wonderful kind help courteous welcoming staff. A map tomyroomand a run dow of times and amenities. Yeah/-/. Wonderful cook and bottle washer. Busicuits? What is the correct spelling for biscuits? Stupid me pointing out misspelling, but she took it as atrooper
- 1/5
Lack of hot water. There was no hot water at any time.
- 3/5
no heat or hot water
- 1/5
Nothing was working in the room , Fridge microwave. The staff was helpful and they replaced the microwave. Basic amenities were lacking..
- 4/5
The room was in good shape and clean. However, we were missing a comfortable chair (aside from the desk chair) to sit in instead of the bed.
- 5/5
The room was ok clean good quality for the price had a great stay and view
- 4/5
I like the room and the hot tub, as I repeat staying at this hotel whenever I have a ski training session at Mission. This time, I had to wait for a receptionist to appear for 5+ minutes when checking in, and had to leave my keycard at the desk when checking out, as no one was there.
- 4/5
It was good
- 4/5
Decent not great
- 3/5
No water was available.
- 5/5
Clean, relaxing and very helpful staff always there to help and answer any questions at any time !
- 2/5
We reserved a King room to celebrate my wife’s birthday in Wenatchee. After a delightful dinner we went to check into the Red Lion Hotel. I had called earlier in the day to confirm our reservation was set and all would be as planned however when we arrived I was told there was a mix up and whether a Queen would be ok. Ultimately the Red Lion put us in a room with two Queens but it spoiled the evening for us. No complimentary discount was offered and I was surprised, since it was a Sunday night and not busy. I haven’t received a follow up- yet. We visit Wenatchee often.
- 5/5
Yes
- 4/5
We had a. Ice time - rooms were clean and comfortable.
- 5/5
This hotel is right across all the establishments yoi need like grocery, shopping etc. it is 20mins away from Leavenworth and it is not so crowded at all. I love my stay. They offer continental buffet breakfast which made the stay even better.
- 1/5
The smoke detector went off at 4 a.m. after we planned to sleep in. The maintenance person, we were told, didn’t arrive until 8 a.m., so there went sleeping in. The tub, sink and toilet didn’t drain well; tge carpet was gross; the bed was lumpy; and my friend fell down the stairs, hurting his knee because the carpet changed colors and he thought he was at the bottom a step early. Management wouldn’t do anything except for take off $25, which she didn’t even do.
- 1/5
Room was terrible
- 1/5
Toliet was clogged. Was told maintenance had left for the night. Ended up foing to walmart to buy a plunger
- 4/5
Yes very cool thank You
- 4/5
Clean rooms. Hotel is a bit dated.
- 2/5
Rooms are not clean! Very old and dusted carpets and flooring
- 4/5
It was good.
- 5/5
Na
- 2/5
Front desk attention was poor. They did not have our room available and we ended up paying more. The hotel needs more cleaning and the room had a very bad smell.
- 5/5
Everything was great again. Just wish they had the funds to replace the hall carpeting or at least stretch it. It's a trip hazard and the duct tape doesn't do much good for advertising. But it's always a nice stay.
- 4/5
Like the hotel and staff
- 4/5
Clean room, good breakfast, but missing the chair shown in the picture on Expedia site.
- 4/5
Alright
- 5/5
clean room and very big
- 5/5
The woman who has Sandy blonde hair she wears up in a bun who works the breakfast area needs a raise and to be paid more for the great job she’s doing! 😄. She is on top of cleaning everything, checking that all food and supplies are stocked and in order. She is keeping everything in perfect order and I told her so.
- 5/5
Room was great. Staff was great
- 5/5
Breakfast was offered with good variety.
- 4/5
Clean rooms, staff was polite.
- 4/5
The hotel's location offers a scenic view of the mountains and is within walking distance of a Denny's, Target, WinCo making staying there all the more intriguing and convenient.
- 5/5
Hotel staff Manager Bobbi was very good ,Red Lion lucky to have her. We had a problem with our 1st room and Bobbi fixed our problem and made our weekend wonderful, thank you .
- 5/5
Nice calm stay. Great breakfast!
- 4/5
The hotel is well keeped and staff is friendly
- 5/5
Clean room. Polite staff. Wish breakfast was served at 6:00AM for those of us who have a long drive ahead of us.
- 2/5
The rest of the property matched the vibe—rotting wooden gate and fence around the pool, general feeling of neglect everywhere. The one bright spot was Bobby at the front desk: friendly, professional, and genuinely helpful. The breakfast attendant, however, was the opposite. Despite front-desk approval to bring food upstairs for our sick kids (something every other hotel I’ve stayed in happily allows), she rudely stopped me, publicly argued with the front desk about two milks and two yogurts, and embarrassed us in front of other guests. Saved from one star only because of Bobby.
- 1/5
The room smelled like pee, and they charged me $75, non-refundable, for my dog. Everybody else in the area is 25 and refundable. The staff was nice.
- 5/5
Staff were very friendly. We only stayed one night and didn't go for the breakfast because we woke up late. The hotel is clean and quiet.
- 1/5
Staff was fine . EVERYTHING else was far from great, everything. The list could go on & on. To sum it up we left early but stll paid for the whole stay. We will not return...
- 4/5
good breakfast ,the hotel is old and smell no\t so good
- 3/5
The room was nice EXCEPT...in a town of beautiful mountains, why would you put a guest in a room facing a giant wall, where you cant even see the sky? And pigeons nesting along the railing, leaving 4" poop pile on the railing and making terrible noises as they fight over the light to sit on. Shame...it was very disappointing and not romantic. We would have asked for a different room except we arrived at night and didn't see the view.
- 2/5
Pet fee refundable because room smelt like wet dog. Not updated
- 1/5
The front desk guy name started with La was very mean and did not want to help me at all. The toilet in my room was not flushable and I asked him to help but he said the maintenance guy just left and he could not do anything for me beside gave me the plunger. He did not even told me to come down the front desk to get it. I waited 15 mins and called him back and he said “You have to come down here. I can’t go up”. When I came down I saw he was talking to his coworker, that coworker saw me and walked out. So I’m not sure if the maintenance guy really left or they just don’t want to help me. I’m very NOT HAPPY with this customer service. I messaged the hotel but did not hear back at all. Not Happy with this stay.
- 2/5
The entire hotel experienced a hot water crisis - they were aware and did discount the full price. Misfortune for all the guests staying - the staff were very respectful and proactively engaged in good customer service.
- 5/5
It was great staff was very kind
- 4/5
Good place for the price!!!
- 5/5
Stay there all the time in Wenatchee, awesome cost effective, clean
- 1/5
The staff was very helpful and changed rooms for me but the other 2were nothing short of what I seen In the other room. Never, will I go here again!
- 5/5
Good experience
- 5/5
Cleanliness
- 4/5
Good place
- 4/5
The room was clean and staff helpful .
- 3/5
Location, room, breakfast and overall atmosphere was fine, however the front desk staff was very rude upon check in.
- 3/5
It was nice but the room smelled like mildew, the heater scared us awake when it kicked on at 3am with loud bangs. The bath tub didn’t have a stopper so I couldn’t take a bath and the drain was so slow it was gross. It was a nice stay but even the hallways had holes in the ceiling
- 5/5
This is a great hotel. Staff is very nice. Its clean. Comfortable beds. Nice to have balconies. Alot of restaurants right around in walking distance. Along with shopping. Ih and the water is nice and hot.
- 5/5
Awesome
- 5/5
Front desk customer service was excellent by Courtney.
- 3/5
Rooms are a little smelly..pillow were small..but the staff were helpful and nice
- 2/5
Well we to wait until five for checkout the way on the front was not very nice either friendely this hotel looks live have better times. We regret to stay there.
- 5/5
Everything was great especially the staff. Sammy in particular. She went above and beyond in customer service. For example: she came to our room to help me setup our Roku so we had the comforts of home to see and enjoy the time we were in the room. We were spending time in Leavenworth but the hotels were unreasonable because it was for Thanksgiving. The price was unreal at the. Red Lion for everything they offered. Only suggestion I have is that there was plenty of room to have a comfy upholstered chair in the room other than just one for the desk. We would definitely stay there again
- 4/5
Staff real friendly and decent breakfast
- 4/5
Good breakfast, large clean room, friendly staff.
- 5/5
The staff was awesome. I like the breakfast buffet. I had number 310 for a room upstairs is very quiet no complaints. I will be back.
- 4/5
Staff was friendly and knowledgeable
- 4/5
It was an okay experience. We find bad hotels novel, so we enjoyed it more than most would.
- 4/5
Decent breakfast and very friendly staff.
- 2/5
Mold in the room, dirty balcony, nasty stains on the carpet, below average breakfast
- 5/5
The staff was amazing. The manager was here when we arrived and she is an amazing lady. I’m not good with names so of course I forgot her name. Room was clean comfortable everything was amazing. Breakfast is always good. Lots of variety. I’ve stayed here a few times and I always have an amazing time.
- 1/5
They were so rude to me. And when I called to speak to a manager she was eating laughing at me basically saying she couldn’t cancel my stay when her employee said she had did it already the night before. Just a horrible experience I’ll never go back
- 3/5
Allow guess to use the excise room at their convenience. I for some reason wake up at 3:00AM and end up going to my local gym. On my stay this night I ended up just roaming the hallways on the 1st and 2 nd floors. After being told the room wouldn’t be open until 7 AM. even after asking the staff if they could unlock it, guess no exceptions.😳
- 5/5
Had heard not great reviews from other people who’ve stayed there but we were pleasantly surprised. It was great
- 4/5
The staff was very polite and the room was very clean. It was a little noisy in the hallway.
- 4/5
Yes
- 5/5
Ac kept warm the room
- 5/5
The room was spotless! And the staff was great. Love the quietness of the hotel
- 4/5
Courteous staff
- 5/5
Amazing staff and so dog friendly! We will absolutely stay here again!
- 3/5
Hotel needs to be updated. Rugs are bubbled up causing a trip hazard. Decor is from the 70’s. They let animals bark throughout the day without rules. Staff has no power to make decisions. However is an affordable option without worries of drugs and prostitution
- 3/5
Staff was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good
- 5/5
Perfect for the price
- 3/5
We were supposed to receive a 10% discount for the inconvenience but did not. I will not stay in the motel again because of the missing discount. The rooms were good and the breakfast area and front office are very nice. Breakfast quality was good also. The motel is on the older side and the carpets outside of the rooms were in poor shape. Most of the time, the exterior door into our area of rooms opened without a card swipe. That made me nervous as there are no cameras within the facility However, we did not have any problems with security inside or in the parking lot.
- 5/5
Was a really good stay. Clean spacious room lots of parking. I would definitely stay again.
- 4/5
Super friendly helpful staff. Getting a little tired inside but very clean and convenient location
- 5/5
Hotel not new but everything was clean and comfortable. Welcomed staff, great breakfast and location.
- 4/5
Didn't eat breakfast
- 4/5
Yes
- 5/5
Very clean! Delicious breakfast! Very friendly staff!
- 5/5
Room was clean and good. Staff was friendly
- 4/5
There were issues with the hot water, hopefully they have been fixed. Would suggest providing more outlets for charging devices. We had to go buy a power strip to adequately cover our charging needs.
- 3/5
Yes. Toilet wouldn't flush. Remote didn't work. But clean and affordable.
- 5/5
Clean rooms with a very pleasant odor. Parking close and very accessible
- 2/5
We had no heat, and no hot water for my entire stay. My first room had 2 inches of standing water in the bathtub with black chunks and hair floating in it. I heard complaints about carpet bugs… basically nobody was happy.
- 5/5
The staff are awesome. My stay is always nice
- 5/5
I love staying at the Red Lion when I come to wenatchee
- 5/5
Would love a vegan option for breakfast besides an apple
- 1/5
Rude and unprofessional
- 5/5
Just an older property. Perfectly fine for what I needed
- 5/5
Excellent staff and breakfast was the best ever for a hotel
- 4/5
Front desk staff efficient and friendly but perhaps not dressed professionally. The hotel is maintained but tired looking, no updates in quite awhile and a fix for hallway carpets is duct tape, they have a pigeon problem on our balcony but no furniture so it was unusable. Breakfast was hearty and like Denny’s. It’s a solid, clean place to stay. It’s not a hotel with amenities. It was nice when it opened but it’s a bit of a time warp now.
- 3/5
Staff was great, room was alright. We did not pay the extra for breakfast.
- 4/5
Overall kind staff and a clean hotel, its just really old. The carpets need replacing - its time. However, for the price you can't beat it. I stay there about once month while visiting my son. Very convenient to the area.
- 5/5
Nice breakfast spread, especially considering the reasonable cost of the room. Would stay here again.
- 5/5
Well, kept property, clean rooms and very helpful staff, will be staying again in the spring
- 4/5
The room is very big but old, the staff is very friendly. The breakfast is delicious. It’s a perfect hotel to go with pet. I think the hotel needs some maintenance. I saw the pool fence wood damage. My bedroom’s heat was very old and hard to control the temperature.
- 3/5
Convenient
- 2/5
Booked room to sleep 5-6. Room given was two queens. Then told for extra money I could get a cot brought in. Closet door fell on my head not once but three times Requested a luggage rack. Took a while day to get one. Requested extra towels and pillows. Had to call down a few times before they were brought up. Cot that was brought in was broken Mini fridge not cold To top it off there was no hot water on the last day.
- 4/5
Quiet stay and spacious room
- 2/5
Liked that its close to town but its outdated. tape on carpet. The next morning there was no Hot water!! Only gave us 10 discount wont be staying again.
- 5/5
Na
- 5/5
I get they let animals but they're are stains all over the carpets from animals
- 5/5
Staff are outstanding! In general, the property needs an uplift.
- 3/5
Person at front desk was not friendly, not personable. The hotel needs to restretch the carpet, someone is going to trip on the ripples. Breakfast was tasty, but workers were in the corner with each other, website said there was a pool. Didn’t mention that it was closed for the season. Sorry guys, I won’t be back. Disappointed.
- 2/5
I don’t recommend this hotel.the bed sheets were not changed and I found hairs on the pillows and under the sheets. Also the shower head fell off and was leaking, poor water pressure. Not enough breakfast for all the guests and carpets are very old and dirty. Kitchen staff were rude. Walls and equipment in the room are so old and worn out. Noisy AC as well.
- 5/5
The red lion in Wenatchee is a fantastic place to stay. Rooms are clean and housekeeping provided me with an iron when asked. The breakfast is excellent with all the normal options and waffle station. Will stay again when I make my way to Washington again.
- 5/5
NA on hot tub. Parking lot was fine.
- 5/5
This hotel is a perfect place to stay in Wenatchee for a reasonable price. The ladies at the front desk were very friendly, and check-in was quick and easy. The rooms are spacious, comfortable and clean. Breakfast was great, with a good selection of food and drinks. The location is convenient, with plenty of restaurants and shopping nearby. Parking at the hotel was also easy, with lots of spots available and safe.
- 3/5
The most challenging part of our stay was the guests in the room above us. They were pacing the squeaky floor—our ceiling— ALL NIGHT! We were not able to sleep. We did not stay a second night.
- 5/5
Our room was clean and the staff was friendly. We enjoyed our breakfast at the hotel and shopping around the area. We will definitely be back again.
- 3/5
70s vibe
- 5/5
Thank you for an easy late night check in
- 3/5
No wine glasses or glass cups they have a. Weird text service that messages u and doesn't respond after saying text for anything. Eggs sausage only cereal waffles oatmeal no bacon no potatoes eggs had cheese on them not lactose free friendly and yea bday meh lesson learned. It's a medium quality feel. Very noisy trains constantly very annoying.
- 3/5
The overall appearance of Red Lion in Wenatchee was well worn. It needs a significant amount of updating. Carpet had duct tape on the seams found in the hallways broken or outdated lamps. But the room was very clean and very comfortable
- 5/5
Staff was great! Bathroom wasn't as clean as is like but over all it was ok. Breakfast was fantastic and the breakfast ladies were very pleasant.
- 4/5
The property has seen better days but the staff is friendly and my room was clean and pretty comfortable. The hot breakfast was economical and tasty. It's a good location although you still need to drive to downtown attractions.
- 5/5
My friends and I enjoyed to stay in this hotel. Clean room, quiet place.
- 3/5
The dresser drawers were off track and not useable, and there was a large stain in the carpet. Staff was very friendly and otherwise the room was very clean. This is a nice hotel, buthere is a pigeon problem and the birds woke us up 2 out of 3 mornings. this
- 3/5
While the beds and sheets were comfortable and the bathroom very clean, it’s time for a major update. The carpets are duct taped down in the hall and need replacing as do water worn doors.
- 1/5
Poor condition, good coffee
- 1/5
I cancelled my reservation in advance d/t “red flag” AQI (167) and road closures d/t fire. Expedia tried to call red lion twice but the manager hung up on them. We are escalating to obtain a refund for me.
- 5/5
I was very happy to see how nice the hotel was based on the price. I was expecting to be disappointed.
- 5/5
It was convenient located and very affordable.
- 2/5
The staff was very nice. Limited breakfast, needs updated. Carpets were tapped and had big wrinkles in them. The beds were very uncomfortable, we actually rotated the mattress after night 1. No fans in the bathroom so every shower steamed the entire room.
- 4/5
clean room, friendly service, excellent breakfast!
- 5/5
Clean room, breakfast was good.
- 5/5
Room clean and has plenty of charm, on the main road so easy access to other businesses. Large parking lot.
- 3/5
Room was clean, hallways, stairs and decks need to be cleaned.
- 4/5
What I liked was strictly the lady at the front desk and that is it.
- 4/5

The duct taped, lose carpet is not a great touch....
- 2/5
Stained floors, pillow cases had someone else’s hair on it, the room reeked of cigarettes. No a a great experience at all.
- 5/5
Desk staff was amazing
- 5/5
Only complaint was the exercise room. Sign said opens at 7am but it did not open until 9 and I had to ask the front desk to open it. Everything else was great. Breakfast was really good! Room was clean.
- 5/5
One of the rooms had badly stained carpet but were clean otherwise.

Property needs to be updated. Put the price is right.
- 4/5
Rooms could use an update and a good dusting on the curtains and vacuums around the power outlet and exposed cords on floor. Desk chair was old and rough to sit in. No usb ports for devices.
- 4/5
The breakfast was delicious, the beds was comfortable, and the bathroom was clean. The only drawback was that there was only one chair in the room. The room had two queen size beds that could accommodate four people, but there was only one chair; and we were only two people. When we were eating at the table, only one of us could sit down, while the other had to stand.
- 5/5
Do not expect a Winndham type of hotel. For example, the carpet is in need of replacement. However, for the price, we had everything we needed and the room was clean.
- 5/5
Overall clean and safe. Staff nice and the food was good.
- 4/5
Everything was very good. Enjoyed the stay.
- 5/5
The staff were so kind, It was super clean and the pool was nice. They don't provide hair dryers so bring your own haha but they have complimentary shampoo and such!!
- 5/5
The lady in the front desk manager she is the most amazing lady ever she always welcome me when she see me makes conversation I been here for 3weeks and always ready to come back I recommend and will stay here first
- 2/5
Just a dump! Pigeon poop everywhere. Rooms are very outdated! Would never stay there again!
- 5/5
Staff are great, breakfast excellent we stay here over and over again
- 4/5
It’s a very old hotel! I’ll leave it at that.
- 5/5
Nice property.
- 5/5
My family enjoys going to Red Lion every time we stay in Wenatchee. The staff makes our stay always enjoyable and the breakfast is a hit. We would love if the pool area could be open a bit longer☺️
- 4/5
Very friendly staff, nice to have tea and coffee available.

Run down needs renovation

Great breakfast, clean room
- 1/5
Awful
- 2/5
The hotel is very old with much of the exterior woodwork needing repair. The room was mainly clean but had very old carpet and wall paint and chips in wood trim around the door. The patio door was very dirty and overall the hotel has seen better days.
- 1/5
Housekeepers come in announced and are very rude, they can’t clean the rooms properly either
- 2/5
Most of the common spaces were incredibly dirty. Staff member that checked us in was rude and very unwelcoming
- 5/5
It is nice
- 4/5
It was centrally located for my sister and myself. She had to leave her house in Entiat due to potential fire. We were comfortable knowing soon her family would come to pick her up and I would be leaving to go back to Los Angeles. It was not a vacation unfortunately. Maybe another time.
- 2/5
Beyond outdated, staff was friendly. Decent location if you have a car. Good price.

I loved everything about this hotel and the breakfast was incredible
- 5/5
The rooms were big, and the beds were comfy. The pool area was clean and great. The common areas were a bit dirty and there were random rooms that we could see that looked like offices with leaves blown in them etc …. So that was strange - but that staff was super friendly and the breakfast was better than most continental breakfasts - for the price compared to other hotels nearby, the hotel was great.
- 3/5
The staff was wonderful. My room was clean, but some areas were not clean and some areas in the hotel had debris on the floor. The breakfast was great. The swimming pool was great. The pool could use better chairs, like the reclining ones. I saw a plasticchair break under a person at the pool.
- 3/5
It was a clean, dry, quiet, safe place, and the price fit the condition. Although all of the staff was super friendly - the lady running the breakfast buffet was their star employee in my opinion. She was so nice, polite, and on top of her game! There are nicer placed in Wenatchee - but I am guessing they cost more. It's up to you - you get what you pay for as far as modern updated rooms versus 1980.
- 5/5
Staff is great. Pool and hot tub really nice. Room and bathroom clean.
- 5/5
The staff was incredibly accommodating and very friendly. We will definitely stay again.
- 5/5
Nice, clean, convenient to the Gorge.
- 4/5
Staff were friendly and helpful! Hotel is showing its age, but still comfortable and the pool area was nice. Good value.
- 3/5
Experience not the best not sure I will return to this hotel as I frequently visit Wenatchee. However, please note compliments to Bobbie and Courtney at the front desk. Both very pleasant and helpful.
- 3/5
Things to note: The cable or satellite is awful you can’t get any local channels for news at all. The breakfast is average of free breakfasts however they usually charge $7.99 unless specified it comes with room (as ours did) but would have been upset to pay for a breakfast that’s not as great as competitors FREE breakfasts. Our rooms were pretty n the 2nd floor and we travel with lots of luggage so need things accessible. They directed us to drive around back of hotel and enter that door and elevator is there. However we had to lug our luggage up 2-3 steps to get to elevator so that cracked us up!
- 5/5
The staff was super friendly
- 5/5
It was very comfortable and the staff was very friendly. The property could definitely use an interior makeover.
- 4/5
Staff was wonderful. As a woman staying alone for multiple days, I felt safe the whole time. A bit of an older hotel smell. Didn't notice it much after being there for awhile.
- 4/5
Convenient location
- 1/5
The property was supper supper dirty old and not good at all
- 5/5
Shops nearby. Restaurants.
- 5/5
It is a grand old property.
- 4/5
Good location, friendly service. They were very accomodating with special requests. The breakfast was convenient and had pretty good food. Older hotel, but I liked the ambiance. Would stay there again.
- 3/5
The place is run down. Had to ask for lightbulbs, towels and the toilet was broken. Staff were rude when asked for repairs. Do not recommend.
- 5/5
Just a quick overnight stay. Hotel was well kept. Full breakfast buffet was appreciated.
- 3/5
A pretty average property for a Red Lion. Not fancy but not gross either. The room was clean but worn. The front desk guy was really nice. There was a little mold on the bathroom ceiling (not unusual for most older hotels) but the bathroom was otherwise very clean and in good condition. Not terrible, not fantastic, but okay. The hotel really could use new carpet and furniture. Normally I'd stay in a nicer hotel chain but the town was selling out and very expensive so we went down a notch. It was good enough for one night.
- 2/5
The room needs a USB outlet to charge devices. At the minimum add a lamp with that charging capability.
- 5/5
Breakfast is always good, look forward to the weekend and biscuits and gravy.
- 4/5
This was for one on my employee’s, he needed a place to stay for a night. He is from out of town.

Check in woman very nice and put me in a room close to outside exit because I had 2 small pups with me. Appreciated that. Room was larger than expected. Bed comfy. Bathroom good sized but the shower head did not provide good pressure. Check in staff was great. She was so friendly and fast. Check out was not so good. There were 2 women. 1 was friendly but busy with another customer. The other woman sat in a room just behind. Heavy set woman with frizzy long grayish hair. She greeted me by saying “what can I do for you honey?” Didn’t get up just sat there. Her tone was annoyance, like I was interrupting her. I questioned her back “honey?” She said “ I’m from Kansas City. We call everyone honey.” It was a ridiculous statement to a customer so I ignored it and told her i wanted to check out. She instructed me to leave my key in the basket which she pointed to from her chair. Still did not get up. I needed a receipt because it was a business expense but she said I needed to go through my third party booking for that. As I was leaving, she loudly said have a good day, followed by a pause and “honey.” It was purposeful and clearly intended to be smart assed and disrespectful. My impression of this woman was sloppy looking, very hefty, lazy, rude, and definitely not customer oriented. She really should not be working behind the front desk. But for the 2 other women whom I encountered who were just the opposite of this woman, I would have given 1 star.

. & strong coffee.
- 4/5
The train was right outside our room. If you stay here request a room on the opposite side of the hotel.
- 3/5
When we first checked in they gave us a key to a room that had not been cleaned. They did get us another room and a 10% discount which was nice. The hotel is nice, nothing fancy, we just needed somewhere to stay for the night. We did have a lot of noisy people on our floor though.

Best place to stay in Wenatchee

Pictures were not good advertisement.

My room had several ants crawling around- I asked to be switched and was told nothing else was available. Maintenance just said “oh well, we sometimes get ants.” There were several dead in my bed- and crawling on the night stand. My family chose to use the pool and noticed something’s floating on the surface. Upon closer review it was VOMIT- it reaked of stomach bile. At breakfast my son observed a hair in his bacon. It was disgusting. No offer to make it right- it was shrugged off as if it were nothing. Don’t stay here.

Will be back next year.
- 2/5
The staff was very friendly and helpful, however the hotel itself looked very dated and dirty. Our hotel room was dirty on the walls, the carpet was dirty and behind the bed, it looked like it hadn’t been clean in a while.
- 4/5
Easy to find. Close to store
- 5/5
A wonderful stay! Clean room, great breakfast, pool and hot tub. Restaurants and stores nearby, close walk to the riverfront. Quiet as well, and everyone nice. Thank you!
- 4/5
This was a nice property. We enjoyed our stay.
- 4/5
Very poor customer service. Very poor planning on getting the air fix & no other room offer. All in all not very happy
- 3/5
Good location for shopping and restaurants. There was a minor plumbing issue in the room and the manager offered another room, but we were leaving that day and didn’t need another room. The maintenance guy was there 30 minutes later and fixed the sink.
- 3/5
Was 80 degrees. Air conditioniner was broken. They knew this ahead of time. They moved us to a different room that was much cooler. Photos on Expedia website for this hotel are very old. There were zero lounge chairs at the pool which was one of the main reasons we choose this hotel , to lay in the sun. They told us they musta been stolen! Carpet in the hallways were stretched out very dirty. Lots of duct tape in the seems. The bed was so hard we ended up checking out a day early! The staff were very friendly and breakfast was ok.

Comfortable beds

So gross !!!!do not stay here !
- 5/5
The plumbing seemed to be a bit of an issue - the toilet in the room and common areas had a hard time flushing and we had a bit of sewer smell in our bathroom sink one morning. The staff overall seemed very friendly and helpful. I want to make a special shout out to the lady handling the breakfast area (didn’t catch her name, but she mentioned she was a former nurse) - she was truly amazing! We’ve stayed at a lot of hotels and have rarely seen the food supplied and the counters/tables cleaned as well and with as much care as she did.
- 4/5
I sent a text b4 my arrival that my sister would be arriving b4 me and to let her check in. Id already paid for my room. They would not let her. Thats bull...
- 5/5
The staff were polite and friendly. The hotel is dated but the rooms are spacious and clean. The kids enjoyed the pool and hot tub.
- 5/5
I was happy because was cleaning and delicious food for breakfast 🤗
- 3/5
The beds were clean. Only got one key for our room was told theyd bring more within with next few hours abd it never happened. Its a non spoking property and the while time my kids swam in the pool a man was throwing a fit about not being able to smoke while smoking at the tables in the pool area on property. Just wasnt the best experience.

👍👍

This property had large rooms. It is an older property. It is next to the railroad tracks and there was some noise from that. Overall a great stay for the price.
- 1/5
First room had blood stains on sheets, lots of hair in shower & tub wouldn't drain. Second room had hair on bed & pillows on one bed & bug on pillow on second bed. 3rd room had hair on pillows & beds. They had mno adfl rooms for us to try & we were done by that point. Front desk didnt seemed surprised at the issues, gave us refund & helped us find new hotel. I truly believe they dont wash the sheets. You wouldnt have all that hair on the beds if you did plus they didn't smell laundered/fresh. None of the rooms had bedspreads, just white sheets on them which really made the darks hairs stand out. Rooms & hallway overall were very dated & not kept up. Missing trim, dirty walls, etc. Parking lot in back didn't feel very safe either.
