Tru by Hilton West Memphis, AR

Everything the room comes with was wonderfully labeled, laundry bag for dirty laundry as well as trash can and recycle bin. The room came with plenty hooks for your clothes and even extra under the bed in case you need more and the free breakfast was delicious. Staff was very sweet and friendly and helpful with any questions I had. Was probably the most relaxing part of my trip! Good job !

The hotel location was good as it was easily accessible to get both off and back onto the highway, and it was away from noise and crowds. The staff was friendly and helpful. The room smelled good and was exceptionally clean. Liked the bathroom amenities. The beds were very comfortable. The hot breakfast did not disappoint. There were a couple of nice restaurants nearby--the Crackle Barrel meatloaf and fried chicken were tasty. Also had a good wine with the meal.

Worst stay I ever had, I will be closing my Expedia and Hilton Honors account.

I had a problem with clerk changing my room number

It was same as every other hotel Pillows were horrible. We stayed at Oxford, MS for 2 nights then came to West Memphis, AR and stayed with y’all for 1 night and both places the pillows sucked. Oxford was cleaner than the West Memphis facility. There were toe nails in the floor in the bath room, no trash liners in the trash cans in the West Memphis facility.

Fun billiards table and work spaces in the lobby. Bed was comfortable. Satellite TV was unstable presumably due to the thunderstorm. Breakfast was disappointing since they ran out of scrambled eggs and forks by 8 am. Manager referred us and others to HER restaurant which seems self-serving.

The walls are so thin you could hear everything in the other rooms. The water pressure was not very strong at all in the shower. The room was very large but empty. There was room for a couch/bench seating of some sort, instead it was just a lot of empty space

Breakfast at all the Tru by Hilton hotels(I have stayed in many is suboptimal and disappointing-eggs looked terrible and non palatable). Furnishings are spartan but adequate. Unless price is low I would choose alternative lodging. Cheaper hotel I stayed in odessa Texas had an excellent breakfast. This chain can do better

The rooms were very accommodating except I wished there was a microwave available.

Had NO microwave, dirty bathroom wall, wouldn’t set in desk chair because how dirty it was, no night stand on one side of bed - used ironing board for phone and eye glasses. Went down for breakfast at 6:15 and nothing was out. No coffee pot in room.

This was our 2nd time to stay at a Tru by Hilton hotel as we were so impressed with our first stay at Tru and it did not disappoint! This place is a great location and only about 10 minutes from Beale Street in downtown Memphis. We were greeted with such a warm welcome as we checked in. Our room was great and after we got a little settled in we asked the gal at the front desk for recommendations for dinner. We took her suggestion and hit a great bbq restaurant just a little off the beaten path and it was an amazing place with great atmosphere and great food. In the morning we enjoyed their free breakfast with plenty of options and we had a fun conversation with Shawna the General Manager. She definitely wanted to make sure that we enjoyed our stay and even helped us find another great place to stay as we traveled north. She was really a delight and couldn’t have been any nicer! We were certainly impressed with her and her staff and facility. Highly recommend! Five stars plus for sure!

The hotel was pretty nice and was very clean. The staff was welcoming and professional as well. It’s about 10min from downtown Memphis which is nice and right across the highway from a nearby casino. The only thing that brings my rating down for this hotel is the area it seems to be in behind the hotel. Seems to be a really rough neighborhood and possibly unsafe.

Unfortunately this was our first and last time staying. We never stayed at a hotel that there wasn’t a wardrobe to hang your clothes or a dresser to put your clothes in. We lived in our luggage bags three nights. Breakfast was good however on day two one of the ladies took the key home so we couldn’t get eggs and meat served and had to go to a restaurant and spend money. There was mold and we killed a bug inside the shower. No one came and cleaned our room the entire time we were there. We had to request towels. We wouldn’t recommend.

This hotel is very nice. It is clean, modern, the thoughtful tech touches in the room are so convenient. The room is very clean, comfortable and just perfect. We slept well, it’s quiet and the AC works amazingly well. The front desk staff was very nice and welcoming.

Property is nice and updated, but the room lacked cleaning. There was hair all over the shower and looked like it had been dried not cleaned. There we giant stains on the curtains and chairs. Overall just felt like it hasnt had a good cleaning in a while.

The stay here was decent however the area is just a bit odd driving to get to the location of the hotel you have to go through a residential area and it is very rundown. The hotel was very nice and the room was clean however there was a sewer smell in the bathroom until we ran the water in the shower.

Coffee cups did not have lids. Coffee was luke warm.

The people were amazing and helpful with our issue. They guided me in the right direction for the situation we were in. I originally made reservation on hotels.com then changed dates up a day earlier with hotel not hotels.com. Got to hotel and they said my reservation was for day after I arrived. Hotel told me to call hotels.com so I did and they changed reservation. Only thing bad about this place is that the wallpaper was coming off in bathroom and facets in tub were very loose. Everything else was perfect in room and downstairs in lobby. They have a huge breakfast bar too.

Tru in West Memphis is a very nice and clean facility. The friendly and courteous staff adds to an overall pleasant experience. The modern and comfortable room design provided a relaxing stay. The well-laid-out common area is a perfect spot for relaxation and socializing. I would definitely stay at Tru again.

At breakfast there was a full container of milk left on the counter to block the sensor of the waffle iron. The cream cheese was warm and not on ice, bagels were stale

Tru by Hilton West Memphis, AR Needs better signage on the road into the hotel from the service road running along the Interstate. I am a good driver, but I was confused and missed the turn. Thanks to a friendly representative in a business just east of Tru I was able to go through the neighborhood to the south and find the street/entrance. The neighborhood is not a good one and I was glad it was not dark.

Before our departure, they asked if there was anything else they could do to make our next stay more accommodating. We discussed points, which will be reviewed and hopefully implemented.

Room was clean but there was no coffee maker (available 24/7 in the lobby), but that is a negative for me. Also no cups, again available in the lobby 24/7. Just a little inconvenient

Staff were really nice, fixed my billing issue promptly, greeted us with smiles, cleaned our plates even though they did not have to and the lady that ran breakfast on 11/05 is amazing!! super nice to my kid with autism!!

Just a one night stay while traveling, we had a friendly welcome from the front desk staff. In the morning, the team had so much fun together serving the guests during breakfast. Very friendly atmosphere.

The breakfast was delicious. We had the best hotel eggs that we have ever had (and we have had a lot). The kids loved the automatic pancake maker. The lady at the front desk was wonderful! She was friendly and very willing to help us. Our room is what gave the four instead of five star review. The pillows were too hard and we had an ajoining room with a family who had a baby that cried most of the night. The walls must be paper thin. Our kids didn't sleep nearly enough and neither did we.

There is a board or nearby attractions posted at the elevator. There's local shopping 2 to 3 miles down the street (Walmart, Walgreens, Kroger Grocery, CitiTrend, cato, Dollar Tree, and more). There are local restaurants (Apple Bees, Southland Casino 5 restaurants, Pizza, Burgers,Barbeque, Taco and more fastfood). Most things to do are in Memphis TN about 2 miles.

Excellent stay! The lady who checked us in/out (Porsche) was super friendly and attentive! Breakfast was very good (scrambled eggs were not just basic, they tasted delicious, and the pancake maker was cool.) Room was mordern and clean. Not crazy about the location. It was easy to pass the turn and hard to get back to, and right across the highway from a major casino. Somewhat busy/loud in front lobby. Overall I would definitely stay again though.

Our bathroom sink was stopped up and they got it fixed in mere minutes! The staff are friendly and helpful and the breakfast is fantastic! There’s a great variety and everything is very fresh! Check in was a breeze. However I did attempt to call the hotel since we were getting in super late and the number listed on hotels.com is incorrect… I was pretty shocked at what the number is actually for. Shower only in the room. Nice and clean, and great water pressure. The bed! Wow, the bed was so comfortable and cozy! Breakfast to me was mediocre, what you’d expect for a standard hotel breakfast. Everyone on staff was super friendly!

Love Tru hotels and this did not disappoint. Tru hotels are pared down hotels that remind me of european hostels. No frills but that's what I love, just a bed a bathroom and TV but everything is fresh, modern and clean.

It is good but in morning I got some bad smell like Westwater. There wasn’t any microwave in the room.

Decoration and design

Room was clean; however toilet seal was coming loose. Whole toilet moved when trying to use it.

Room was clean the whole in ceiling around sprinkler was stuffed with tissue(forgot to take photos) the TV stop working/great sound no picture, screen went black. The bathroom door, to open it up i had to put my weight on it ,same thing to close it, it was dragging the floor. I love animals dont get me wrong but i dont let my dog in my bed and dont want to sleep behind one ..I HAVE 2 LEGS NOT 4. My dog is not a human and I will never consider him one..what if i'm allergic..TAKE THE ANIMALS ELSWHERE..animal hair all over chairs rug and mats..

Wonderful hotel. Situated perfectly to both enjoy West Memphis and get a very quit night’s sleep. Across the highway from the Southland Casino and within a short driving distance to Graceland. Traveling with a pet isn’t easy but this hotel is perfect. It was immaculate and no nasty carpet! The beds were amazing and the breakfast was buffet style with hot items to include, omelettes, sausage and hard boiled eggs. All the continental items were also present for lighter fare. The designated walking area was right outside the back door entrance with a security fence skirting the property. The pet area was well maintained and exceptionally clean. Dont let the plain appearance fool you; this is a great hotel with good value for your money.

Amazing hotel. Child friendly as Southland Casino Hotel is adult-only. TRU has games, a pool and a pool table. Didn't wake up in time for breakfast but the picky eaters in my group declared it good. Comfortable bed. Blackout shades came in handy due to a storm that night. Very well soundproofed against the storm and Interstate traffic.

Didn’t hear any road noise. Parking at night is rough though. They could use a bigger parking lot. Breakfast was nice and we played on the pool table in the lobby after breakfast.
