    The room had cracks and lots of missing paint patches on the wall. The outlet cover was half gone... dangerous. And the screen was missing from the window... good thing I had no kids with me. I was very underwhelmed and can't believe I spent $90 bucks on the room. It didn't even have coffee or lotion in the room:(

    The room was very dirty. The fortunate is very disgusting like it was pulled from a dumpster. The smoke alarm is disconnected for some reason,so that is a major safety concern. The bathroom floor was extremely dirty. The fan in the bathroom to keep the air fresh was not working. The walls had holes in them. The paint joint on the walls is horrific. I found multiple types of insects all around the room. They have a place to hang clothes but no hangers. The bedding is dirty and has holes in it. This is beyond horrible. The owner was very rude when I brought my concerns and had to go through bookings.com to handle the refund for the rest of my stay as I couldn't stomach it much longer. The bed was extremely hard and uncomfortable also. They only let me post 4 pictures but I have many of how bad it was.

    Location of course! Great price. And the staff if much friendlier. They actually remember us.?? I've never had a problem with hot water. Close to many places to eat and shop. I will reserve here in the future. They need to start updating the rooms. Towel bars missing. TV's should be Smart TV and little larger with CC capabilities. Being able to connect my Roku or log into one of my streaming services is a must. USB or charging ports would be a nice upgrade. Our room was right across from the ice machine and elevator. Wasn't a problem until 5 am, 5:20, 5:35, etc. It was one or the other or both. My feet were black after walking barefoot for about two hrs. Looked like I had walked through mud when I took a shower. I'll bring my steam mop next time. Fridge, a little bit larger with a freezer.

    There was a lot of parking. No working smoke alarm was the most concerning issue. When I called Booking about this issue, the manager of the motel blatantly lied and said that it was connected even though it was sitting right next to the TV. Lamp next to the beds didn't work nor did the outlet itself so the only light source in the room was the overhead by the door and we could only charge our phones by the bathroom. Dirty towels, demanded a cash key deposit after I paid for the room with my credit card. I told Booking that we were leaving, not staying somewhere without a working smoke alarm.

    The price point and location close to our grandkids is definitely worth it! So many food choices near by. Affordable gas next door. Close to Whittier Pres Hospital. They have three floors and an elevator. Parking is small, but we have never not found a spot no matter what time we come in. They have rooms with Spa tubs, too! This was the 1st time the staff has acknowledged me, recognized me. We have been renting rooms here since the early 2000's! Charging ports are always a welcomed sight. The TV! My hubby wears hearing aids and could not read the closed captions from the bed. He had to sit in a chair at the end of the bed to watch TV. I haven't seen a 19 inch TV since early 2000's! A Smart TV is definitely a must now days with all the streaming channels and Roku. We did not get to catch up on our episodes we miss while out on the road, we were unable to switch the input to be able to use our Roku. Now I have to wait another week to catch up on DOOL! The fridge! There is no freezer. We live on the Semi during the work week and hotel it on the weekends. A fridge with a freezer, even the tiny one inside, is much needed to meal prep for the next work week. The pillows! The pillows were to small, old and lumpy. I could not get my head and neck comfortable, no matter what combination I tried. I saw one tiny roach our last morning there.

    Parking was easy not secure at least from I could tell. It appears to be more of a longer term living vs a true hotel.     It's ghetto a lot of hoodlums on bicycles late at night up and down stairs. it's noisy from Lambert Street is busy close windows don't help the noise. Hard to work. Seems like some of the units or rooms are rented out for lengthier stays. Baby crying was heard all night. The website doesn't mention all this. Obviously!!!!

    The property not what I expected, this time. I stayed here before and it was much better back then. The parking lot had lots of cracks and uneven, a trip and falling hazard. The room had a missing smoke detector, just the wires was hanging.

    As soon as I walked in our room, I noticed there was cockroaches crawling on the floor and walls. Sheets were stained, luckily I brought blankets for our car ride. Refrigerator was stained and also seen dead cockroaches.

    The room have 2 diderent rekote ckntrols kne for tv on off and.anither for tv channels, but not tv services, so is obsolete tv,the courtains in my room 302, doesn't fit enough to cover the outside light, plus theslide window is.broke and.dont.have the lock swit safety, so.snyone ouside easily ciuld open the window

    Everything was good we had free wifi, the beds were clean. But we had a water leaking from our ceiling that could’ve bursted at any minute also found a baby roach not sure where it came from. The air conditioning worked great! The water got turned off which sucked but the shower water pressure was very strong it hurt. There was water bugs that crawled out of my drain as well.. and the floors were dirty not clean. The beds were nice and clean and furniture as well.

    Been coming here for a while now. When I say a while, I mean a few years off and on. Being a local, Ive stayed in pretty much every room including the romantic rooms AKA rooms with hot tubs! But this last weekend was probably the best experience considering that they were very considerate. One of the staff members went out of his way to help me book the remaining weekend when there were no rooms available online. I guess you can say he was able to cook the books.     It was nice room but the beds are rock hard, bathroom floors get wet easily, all the lamps are broken. I asked for extra towels and an ice bucket without a hole and got met with a lot of attitude. If you actually want to sleep without hurting try a different hotel.

    This property is a good budget-friendly choice in Whittier, California. My family and I stayed for a family event and the location was convenient for us and the price did not break the bank either. The area around the hotel is not the best, but we recognize that we were only there to sleep at night while the rest of the day we were out doing activities. The only complaint I would have that is out of the hotel’s control is the noise you hear at night with the constant traffic, but other than that it is a solid choice for a short term stay.

    The first 2 times i stayed here the maids went into my room while i went to the store to clean and took my second phone , and some other personal items. Called front desk to report it and they were no help at all. Literally told me to come back and check myself if they were gone even tho i was still there and told them it was not where it was. Despite all that happened, mind you this all happened sometime 2 years ago i was in a bad relationship situation today and had to get a motel room for the night and came here again since its closer to home being the situation i was in came back here to get a room and paid extra because they were “busy” for a room that doesnt even have working TV or hot water. The water gets warm and the tv turns on but i cant get no channels. And when i went to the front desk the last 3 times they refused over and over to change my room or to come look at the tv to try to fix it. The fourth time i complained about it the owner came up to our room and just unplugged the chord and plugged it back in , seen the tv wasnt working , and told me it wasnt his problem. Then left to go assist his other “clients”. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY FOR A terrible SERVICE AT FRONT DEST , FOR A ROOM WITH terrible SERVICE AND NO TV. OWNERS ARE RUDE AND NOT HELPFUL. LAST TIME I EVER COME HERE

    Arrival/ motel clerk **** Environment * Everything was great except for when I was trying to sleep there was arguing and loud voices coming from outside & in one of the surrounding rooms. Then, just as I had finally fell asleep, around 4:45AM I heard a knock. It was someone knocking on the next room door repeatedly. After 10 minutes of knocking, and me trying to ignore the knocking, someone FINALLY opened the door and let the person in. I went to the motel to get some rest and relaxation, being it's difficult for me to get r & r at home. I did not get any r & r because of the noisy chaos but everything else was fine.

    Had roaches/ small spiders crawling everywhere and the restroom did not look clean. There was also a sour smell in the room. The outside of the hotel looked nice but the room was not good. There were also long hairs on two of the pillows, which led me to believe that they hadn’t cleaned the room.

    We left 30 minutes after checking in! The door didn’t lock from inside. It was so filthy, scary and unsafe we had to go find another hotel! Bedding was filthy and everything was broken in there. We were so tired. We walked in. Cried. Left.

    It looks decent - it is NOT Filthy, smoke-filled room despite paying for a non-smoking room (literally found cigarettes in the room). Mold, grime and who knows what else. The bathroom was filthy. The beds too. Left after the first night, it was that bad. Stay FAR away

    There were baby cockroaches in the bathroom, and in the night I woke up finding an insect crawling on my cheek that I swatted away. Luckily it did not crawl into my ear. There was no coffee pot nor hair dryer. Luckily there was a microwave/ AC/fridge.

    Graffiti in the elevator. I had to check out early to go to work at 5am in the morning. A homeless person asked me if I was checking out early and wanted to use my room to shower and sleep for awhile. Not cool at all.
