Good service

Upon arrival, the grounds were full of broken glass and trash. Uppn check in the front desk attendant got visibily annoyed that i didnt have a "card" for my service dog and she refused to allow me to stay on an upper floor due to my "pets must go on first floor". First room assigned the door was terribly hard to open and couldn't be shut so I requested a different room due to my physical limitations and staying for 3 nights. The breakfast room was extremely small and limited in offerings. The food was poorly monitored from my inspection during my first (and only) breakfast there. I chose to go out for breakfast the next 2 mornings since the offerings were the same. Room was poorly maintained and had many bandaid fixes such as the vent fan in the bathroom. A/C worked great and the lighting was phenomenal compared to most other hotels. Still would only recommend in a crunch.

Our stay was wonderful! The staff was friendly and breakfast was good. I had to request soap and cleaner wash cloths, but it was provided immediately. The room was clean, but the furniture (dresser and cabinet holding refrigerator) should be updated. Overall, we enjoyed our stay.

The staff was very helpful The room was nice and clean. But the cable was awful. We were there for 3 days. On the weekend they give you all the premium stations. But after the weekend they take them away.After that TV sucks! The breakfast was excellent the 1st night. But after the weekend end the breakfast was minimal. Overall the stay was a 6 in standing.

There was no soap in bathroom to wash my hand and no body wash in the shower. Breakfast looked ok. Just an ok experience

For the price I expected a more updated room. The bed and bathroom were clean, however there were stained washcloths still hanging in the vanity area and the trashcan was not emptied. I spoke with the receptionist and she handled both. We had a good night's rest. Breakfast ends early, so we didn't get a chance to check it out. We felt safe and would give a second chance, but not as a first choice.

I liked the location. The staff was very helpful and friendly. The room was clean. The bed was comfortable. The only complaint I have is that the window curtains did not shield the incoming lights from a building behind the hotel. Having a thick curtain would have helped.

The morning staff and the afternoon staff was soooo very helpful. My husband is disabled and on crutches and when I told her that she got him a room right off the elevator, so that he didn't have to walk so far from the elevator.

nothing i arrived to the hotel from driving 4 hrs away.. and when i get there i find out my reservation had been canceled 30 mins prior..

I liked the staff and clean room.

I was given the last room with a king-size bed, so my experience may have been different. Altogether, the room was clean, but the furniture was shabby and old. The office chair was broken; the back gave way when I sat down! Lastly, the shower is tiny, and the bath gel container on the wall was empty. Not a good experience!

When I went to check in the man at the front desk, heavyset white guy had clearly an attitude. He did not want to greet me and when he checked me in, he like shoed me away with his hands like get out of here. Very rude off putting. Some other staff left some of the cleaning supplies in the room other than that everything else seem to be clean in order.

Tv remote did not work. Clock did not work. There was plaster missing in the middle of the ceiling. The door to the room was damaged and hard to open and close. Looked like it had been forced open with a crowbar and damaged the door frame.

Bed was comfortable I got a good nights sleep The breakfast wasn’t good , and housekeeping needs to pull out nightstands and clean behind them I found hair and food plus the fridge was dirty and not on found a dog collar in drawer they need to do better when cleaning

The staff was nice, the rooms were clean, and booking was easy. The ice machine was not in service during my stay.

WiFi did not work in room, and lobby internet station also did not work.' failed to honor request made at booking.

Repairs due to a lack of finishing work, need to be done in areas. There was a hole in the wall where a door stop should be, to keep the door handle from making a hole. The shower door is a weird set up, where you cannot reach to turn on the shower before stepping in. The iron did not hold water and leaked all over after adding water. People loitering out in the parking area and by entrance is not a good first impression. Not bad….but needs to be a lot better to get more stars.

Nothing really at all. I was so uncomfortable that I wanted to ask for a refund but I was with my son for an AAU tournament and couldn’t find a replacement room in time and didn’t want to worry my son. It wasn’t clean to my standards the beds the shower the whole room basically felt dirty and was dirty. I killed 2 centipede looking bugs and a spider on the frist night

Generally pleased. I was charged a fee of a couple of dollars at check in. I thought I had prepaid my stay entirely. The extra fee should have been disclosed when I made my reservation.

Property is okay walking distance from stores . I didn’t like that my shower head was broke and that I had to lift my door up to shut it and the toilet make these loud running sounds through the night .

I didn't eat the breakfast because it didn't look good. The location was ok. I had to pay a deposit of $100 and was told that it will be refunded to my card at check out, and I still haven't received the $100.

The room was ok except for the chair , I was scared to sit because it was not clean. Kids were loud.And my key card stop working twicw so I was kicked out twice

This is one of my favorite properties in the Winston-Salem area. Rooms are clean, rates are great, the staff is super helpful and always willing to go above and beyond to ensure your comfort.

Beds were very comfortable, breakfast was excellent, staff was very courteous, room and Common areas were very clean and well kept.

Room neglect place needs closed down to do a lot of maintenance. Property needs cleaned up. So much trash beside street by hotel. House keeping needs to clean better. Company needs to replace things that are wore out or broke in room. Five star ⭐️ for the “Staff member at front desk”. For those reasons I will not be staying there again.

The staffwas very nice however I went down for breakfast a half hour before the end of breakfast and there was no hot food to be had. the trays were empty except for some eggs slapped up on the side of the pan. No one was checking the food so it did not get refilled. I was disappointed in that.

Breakfast was supposed to be included until 9:30 AM. That’s one of the reasons that I chose this place. I came down at 7:30 AM. There was no coffee. There was nothing for breakfast besides bread. Hello!? you can’t include breakfast in the cost of your stay if there’s nothing to eat, I can’t couldn’t even have a coffee.

There was nothing extraordinary offered, but all the basics were there. I would stay here again if I were in the area and just needed a place to sleep - especially if I was on my own. (FYI, part of my job for the past 30 years has involved travel so I have spent over 1,000 nights in hotels and such - I know hotels.

I typically book rooms on the cheaper end of the scale, so expect that there will always be something that isn't quite right. Everything about this room was good. There are a ton of restaurants within a mile of this hotel, so that's nice, too.

Excellent mattress comfort! Very quiet and clean. Appreciated the microwave and 5 pillows on the bed. Would have REALLY appreciated having a working refrigerator (our food went bad because ours didn’t work at all).

Although I had no issues with my stay, my first impression when driving into the property was that this area seemed a little sketchy on this dead end road. The area was not as open and welcoming as I would like.

For a last-minute property to come to that I normally don’t stay at, this place OK/good. I believe the property just renovated so it was a little better than the previous reviews to me.

Sleep Inn has always been one of my favorites. She should not be the first-person visitors have to go through.

Staff was very kind, room was very cozy. Breakfast was a little strange, and the yogurt was expired. Still edible and they had a waffle maker and a toaster with bread so pretty good options. I was a bit nervous as a single woman staying alone but i didn’t feel unsafe at all.

The computers printer did not work. Bathroom shower did not close causing the floor to get very wet.

I looked at and paid for a queen accessible room with walk in shower and was given a full sized bed with a regular tub that had a fold down seat. When I questioned the staff I was told that Expedia misrepresents the hotels with the photos they show.

It looks beautiful . But too many things wrong . I had a refridge with a broken leg. Found a crawling roach in the am under my sink . Took pillow covers off found soiled pillows with stains. Shower floor had a stain . Got a luggage cart and found leaky garbage on it with nats flying out . Had to put a towel on it so nothing got on my luggage . I would not stay here and want refunded.

The place and room were clean. My Only complaint on the night before check out I folded, packed, zippered and close my suitcase. When I returned that night from my family reunion I found my suitcase opened, the zipper part opened, my clothes dis shuffled, my bag and clothes on the floor. The room was cleaned so whoever cleaned the room went through my belongings and this is how they left it.

Very comfortable bedding clean and inviting. Cold beverage and cookies at check in. Wonderful full breakfast included. Close to a great seafood restaurant that offers 10%discount when you show the room card.

The room was cool but very humid. All of the bed linens felt wet and my clothes felt damp the next morning too. The room is run down and needs updating. The carpet felt greasy underfoot.

It was clean the chair beside the bed could have been replaced for sure but no smells just didn’t look like I would ever sit on it .

Room was invaded with ants. The floor was filthy and had trash everywhere, even a cigarette that someone had put out was left in the room. The air conditioner turns on & off only by plugging and unplugging. They switched my room, only difference between the rooms was the missing cigarette and the air conditioner knobs actually worked. The guy at front desk had a major attitude when asked could we switch rooms after stating our reasons. Once confronted about such attitude, he proceeded with he's sick & irritated and should have called in. I said well that's unfortunate but I have nothing to do with that so why am I being treated as if I did something. Had it not been so late, I would have most definitely found another place to stay. I even considered sleeping in my truck but I wasn't sure how safe the area was. Never ever again.

Stayed here for 3 nights with my girlfriend for a convention. The room was clean when we arrived; we stayed in room 329. The breakfast bar was decent, with some variety, which is always nice. The hotel's location is what I like—how secluded it is. You definitely feel like you have privacy here, and I adore it. The shower was nice, with plenty of hot water and decent water pressure. Would totally stay here again (^o^)=b !

We had issues at check-in, where they added duplicate fees. The bathroom door wouldn’t close. There were homeless people all around the property trying to get into the hotel. The room was okay, the bed was comfortable and the pillows were good. I wouldn’t stay here again.

This is a budget hotel and serves the purpose as such. I have no issues to report.

I saw something on the ground and realized that is was a hard piece of poop. The entire place smells like marijuana.
