This was a great option for an airport hotel. The price was fair, the room was clean, the airport shuttle was quick and efficient, and the staff was super friendly and helpful. Tracy, who I believe was the manager was always around and always super friendly and helpful. She made sure everything about the stay was exactly what I needed. Very nice to see a manager of a property so invested in everyone’s stay. Would definitely stay here again.

Exercise room was fabulous! A door that separates the laundry room is needed.

In a good location to be able to travel. Free laundry room. Overall decent location. The room had a really bad smell, the shower had mold around the edge and the bottom had a bad patch job. Air conditioner did not work great and the ice maker didn’t work.

Enjoyed my stay, very quite environment

I asked for a wake-up call that I never received. Someone’s footsteps above me woke me up! I loved the convenience of the shuttle bus and being able to leave my car there. Thanks!

Location was close to the airport. The quality of the room was very poor. Things had been taken off the walls, paint was missing, a queen bed was where a king used to be (I paid for a king) and only one side had a night stand. There were no modern USB ports for charging, the bathroom had a slippery film on the floor and the room smelled bad.

We stayed two nights and specifically chose this hotel for the kitchenette. The ice maker didn't work, and since all the units have ice makers there is no where else to get ice. The 2 burner cooktop did not work at all. No lights, no heat. For us this, other than having a larger refrigerator than most hotel rooms, it was useless.

Check-in was wonderful, check out, early morning, not so much, Clerk was sitting in lobby and didn't get up to assist or check us out. A bit too casual.

The staff was awesome! The hotel was very clean, except for the stairs next to the elevator, they smelled of cat and dog urine.

The wifi is bad. Like non functional which sucks, because I needed a long term stay for business and had to go to a different hotel. The wired Ethernet is not active. So wifi is the only way. I tried two different rooms on 2 different nights, bad wifi.

It was perfect for the stay before our flight.

Ladonna was amazing so helpful she was there Friday and Monday. Pillow cases and kitchen towel was stained. Stove eyes did not work. No smart tvs. I was woken up Saturday and Sunday night from people above me partying. I called main office after midnight and receptionist was rude. The room was clean and well maintained. The area around the property is quiet. The staff is friendly and helpful.

Grass in the door to the computer area was broken. Clock in the lobby was not running. The staff me that the batteries seem to last less than a week. There are better hotels/motels within 2 miles, pick one of those. Sidebar..small town NO taxi service at 4AM.

Staff was great. Park and fly option is great. My only complaint is that the tv is mounted in a weird way so only one of us could see the screen from the bed. The bathroom hand soap is mounted on a wall so you have to shut the door to use the sink. It was pretty noisy in the hallways in early evening. Other than that it was a great stay.

The room was clean and the parking was easy and the location was great being across the street from the airport. For being a pet friendly hotel, the room I was in didn’t smell like animals or have any other odors. I had a kitchenette that had all the basic kitchen utensils needed to prepare a meal if I needed to, and it all appeared clean.

I arrived at 12:30am and couldn’t get in a room until 2:30 am. I to switch rooms 3 times. The first room had a neighboring storage room, which had an alarm going off due to a missing battery. It was too loud to sleep. The second room had a disgusting smell. And the third room was humid so the bedding felt damp. When attempting to get help from the front desk, there was not a manager on site. The front desk receptionist also ran the shuttle to the airport, so no one was there to help.

Probably one of the best hotels I have ever stayed at. Incredibly friendly staff, great outdoor space for dogs, rooms are large and the beds are actually comfortable!! We travel somewhat frequently and will be back.

Hotel has a good location, but, unfortunately, the reviews online are a bit inaccurate given our experience. The hotel was very dirty-including the elevator- and needed sweeping and vacuuming. In addition, there was a horrible smell and the bathroom was not clean as well. I hate to leave a review like this one, but avoid this hotel if at all possible.

The hotel and room were very clean. Right across the highway from the airport and offers a free shuttle. There are no frills and most of the guests are long-term renters. Therefore, you will have a mixture of smells due to multiple units cooking. We stay for a conference that was located at the hotel at the airport. Our do not stay cost less than one night at the airport hotel and only took 3 to 5 minutes to get there good value.

The only, and I do mean only, thing remotely okay about this place is it's close to the airport. That is realistically the nicest thing that can be said for my stay there. I will NEVER stay there again!!

I absolutely love the staff and stay often. However, this last time, our room was not very clean. The bed and bathroom was clean but the kitchen had been neglected. There was also a very rancid smell on our floor. It smelled like a dead animal or old cat litter.

It was cold in Fort Lauderdale when we stayed there, I get that. However, our room got all the day up to 62° and for the most part it was lower. I understand that Florida hotels are not built for cold weather, but when we asked for the issue to be checked into, we were told that there was nothing they would do because everyone was having that issue. At breakfast the next morning, we talked with about a dozen people. NO ONE had issue with their heat. Everyone reported temps around 70˚. Hotel service like that is exactly why we will not be staying in this hotel again.

We stayed one night to catch an early morning flight out of McGhee Tyson airport. It was literally 2 mins from the airport. Super nice staff, easy checkin and checkout process. The room was very clean, the hotel was very quiet and the bed was very comfortable. Would definitely stay there again.

The smoke detector battery needed to be replaced, it chirped all night. I got in really late and just wanted some sleep. Also, the toilet's handle needed to be shaken in order for the toilet to stop running. Other than that, everything was great!

Great stay for catching an early flight!

The staff was good. The hotel smell was horrible to say the least. There was dog crap in the carpet like someone had half cleaned it. My room was not cleaned or provided fresh towels. The place was so nasty, I trashed my new UT Vols slippers I wore in the room because I didn’t want the smell or whatever on the sole being bought into my house.

Just stayed overnight for early flight. Shuttle picked me up at airport when I dropped off my rental. Took me back to airport in the middle of the night for a 6 am flight. Perfect for my needs.

The hotel had great parking. Check in was easy. Erica was professional and friendly and very helpful. The room was clean, comfortable and had everything we needed including a small kitchen. The wake up call was on time as was our 430 shuttle service. Great place, across from the airport.

Hotel staff was polite...room okay...parking was not good , due to bike week , lots of trailers! With no roo for them. Bathtub was broke on floor, duct taped over....

I had to wait for the clerk to return from picking somebody up and when she came in with the other person, instead of asking me if I was checking in, she checked in the other lady and afterwards asked if I was checking in. She wasn’t friendly or apologetic about over looking me. When I checked out, the morning staff had me waiting also, but she did apologize and was very friendly.

While we appreciated them getting these items fixed, we were there for business & it was not convenient trying to get ready in a steamy bathroom. The manager, Liz? was relentless in trying to get fixed for us, in fact, I think they actually had to take a fan from another room, as they didn't have parts available.

The staff was excellent. They need a better housekeeper or follow up on the person to ensure cleaning is beyond average. The tub to the shower wasn't cleaned. I didn't report it as it was a late check in and I was ready to get in and out. Thankfully I use shower shoes. Also, one of my pillow cases had red hair dye left on it, not from me. Lastly, the elevator floor remained dirty the entire weekend, that's not a good thing.

Rooms were clean and functional, but upon check-in there were a few trash bags outside one of the rooms in the hallway.

Normally I would not comment if only 1-2 issues, but several items (maintenance related mostly) did need addressed... First, on the positive side: room decor was modern & lovely; the bed was very cozy... a bag of trash had been left under the kit sink, along with a drink in the fridge; #2) the glass in bathroom wasn't wrapped and when I inspected it closer, it had obvious residue of having been used; #3) the ice machine in freezer didn't work; #4) the mini microwave smelled like it might be close to catching fire when ran only 1 minute in am to warm coffee; and finally #5) the room I was given was directly across from guest laundry and the noise of the door latching as people accessed the area was somewhat annoying, although I tried to buffer the noise by placing a rolled towel along door base and slept with ear plugs. (I know to request a quieter room location in the future!) *items#1-3 were reported to the front desk attendant upon departure.

My room was clean, I received quick service when s couple of light bulbs needed to be changed, and the room setup and amenities were unique including a full-size refrigerator, dishwasher, and a 2- burner, smooth top stove on the kitchen area counter. I would stay here again.

Someone clearly smoked in that room. Room bathroom has nail clippings and hair clippings all over the place. My daughter and I did not shower there as the shower looked disgusting. I asked for another room for my second night which thankfully they did.

Close to airport and close to restaurants I was previously a part owner.Wendy’s,Applebee’s,and Texas Roadhouse over thel last 47 years.

Wendy was very sweet and helpful last nigjt, as well as the young man at the desk that made sure I had everything I needed.

There were strange noises coming from the room above us both nights. Can’t imagine what it was.

The room is beautiful and extremely comfortable. I’m positive it’s the cleanest of any hotel, Inn, Suites I’ve ever stayed in. And quit I couldn’t hear the airport which it was close to. I couldn’t hear the people in the rest of the building.

The AC didn't work unless you put it on 60 and hope your room was get to 70 before it kicked off and had to be turned off and on again. There were other small issues. This Candlewood does not compare to others we have stayed in over the years.

Very clean and professional

Staff was great and very helpful. The facilities could use a little TLC. Many minor issues with the room but nothing a little maintenance couldn't fix.

Room was nice. Floor was in need of vacuuming. Hall was always in need of vacuuming. Mostly due to construction workers coming in and out. There was a lot of people hanging out in cars in the parking lot for hours. And guy’s working on cars in the parking lot.

I'm local, but due to snow, I decided to stay at the airport. Nice clean room, comfortable bed. Friendly staff. Transportation to the airport was on-time, extended parking was very affordable.

Room was great. Hotel halls were dirty from pipeline workers staying there also. The staff was super nice and lobby was clean. Overall was great. We always stay here because we have never had any issues. Its safe and very well lit outside. It always provides the comfronts of home.

The bathroom was disgusting, dirty, hair all over the towels ans in the tub. Floor was dirty with hair and looked like it had not been cleaned. The actual room was ok, but nothing makes up for a gross bathroom. There was dirt and mud in the hallway leading to the room.

I was on the 2nd floor and literally, all night long, it sounded like the people above me were moving furniture. At one point, something hit the floor so hard it sounded like somebody dropped a barbell. I could hear a child running back and forth across the floor. It went on from 10 pm to 2 am, when I had to get up to catch an early flight. I did not complain to the desk as it wasn’t their fault. I used their hotel parking and their shuttle to and from the airport. The hotel's shuttle was on time and extremely convenient, and cheaper than airport parking. I highly recommend this hotel for taking trips out of Knoxville airport. Just make sure you get a room on the third floor.

Couple traveling to football game. Property felt safe; parking lot was well lighted. Nice lobby and good coffee. Clearly an older property, but we were okay because we were only there to sleep. Mattress needed to be replaced !!! It was terribly worn out. Chair in the room was old and gross; room would have seemed nicer with no chair as opposed to the one that was worn and mismatched cushion replacement. We booked late and arrived late so maybe we got the last and worst room. Honestly, I would stay again and hope for a better room just based on the feeling of safety.

I rate this as an average property if want clean towels you literally need to ask as we were told after they said to put outside our door and they would replenish one washer worked out of 4 and 2 dryers out of 4 there’s was actually one front desk person who really went above and beyond her name was Makayla there’s was another young lady who was also very helpful I never received her name but maybe African American or Spanish these two were incredibly nice when I found feces in one of the washers and told the front desk to the night person she didn’t want to do anything cause her words were I’m off the clock very un professional and to be honest I was turned off by her attitude she was worried too much about going out to smoke rooms were clean though

These days with most hotels providing breakfast, we were surprised to find out this hotel did not. In fact, I'm not sure why I chose this hotel. It's in a poor location and access to our room was very limited because of the way it's built right up next to another hotel.

It was filthy

A little noisy from surrounding rooms. Carpet needs cleaned. Tile needs to be deep cleaned. Toilet seat broke. Toilet tank top mismatched. Doesn’t fit tank. Shower wall had several large cracks. PTAC air conditioner filters filthy ( I washed the filters in the sink). Refrigerator ice maker broke. Ice bin cracked on bottom.

Employee gave away my room and charged my card for other rooms

Was dirty. Found socks left by previous tennanant, bugs in the window and the hallway smelled like urine. Not enough dishes to really do anything with. No directions on how to use stove. No window or fan except in bathroom to clear out and smoke from cooking.

This was a very spacious, clean and comfortable stay. Everything you could need from a suite was at your fingertips. Staff was extremely friendly and helpful! The place was spotless. Very close to airport and restaurants. Felt like a safe area. These rooms would be ideal for an extended stay. Free laundry room was ideal for washing up clothing after a business trip so I could simply return home and unpack.

I thought this was gross, it smelled awful. I would not stay there.

What I did like was the location, free shuttle and the set up of the room. Not sure I would stay there again.

A bit noisy and dogs barking

The property is handy to TYS airport. Check-in was easy. Desk clerk was friendly. The place looks a little neglected, and could use a little love. Bed was comfortable. Shower water was hair-trigger between too hot and too cold. It's fine for a night before a flight. Longer-term stay might have a challenge or two. I'd give it about an 8 out of 10.

2nd floor smelled like people were smoking,

We took a motorcycle trip and needed a last minute hotel! They were very friendly and got us right in. Check in/Check out process was very easy and accommodating to our needs. The room was clean and the beds were comfy! However, we did have a little damage to our room prior to arrival. There was a decently sized hole in the carpet right in the center of the room and there was water damage with a little mold above the shower. We did book 3 rooms though and only one was this was. We did not utilize all the property amenities as we loaded up early to ride. Overall, our stay was decent for the price paid.

The lack of housekeeping was glaring. Our floor reeked of cat urine, as a guest deposited their used cat litter in a garbage bag and left it near the elevator trash receptacle. It was disgusting!

We stayed here because it was close to the airport and we had an early flight the next day. We payed to park our car at the hotel and they shuttled us to the airport.

The check in girl was amazing. She offered to help me with supplies if I needed them for extra packing for my luggage as i had to pack alcohol for my flight. I had asked for a king room but was given a double room but it was ok as I had to leave early for my flight. Thanks for the wonderful stay. Can’t wait to come back to Tennessee

Airport shuttle was “broke down”. No taxis would pick me up and was very lucky to get a Lyft.

Found kitten food hidden in closet. Allergic to cats and so I didn’t sleep well all night.

It was set far enough the road that I didn’t hear the airplane noice. Convenient to restaurants, easy access by car.

Stayed here for 3 nights. The rooms had so many issues. We checked in to our room and unpacked our stuff. One of the bigger lamps was not working. As a result, the room appeared dark. It was almost 10 PM and we went to bed. That's when we noticed a big bug flying across the room. We got up to check what's going on and we found 2 more insects flying around. We immediately called the lobby and requested for a change in the room. They did find another room for us and when we moved there, it was about 11:30 PM. We settled in and were about to go to bed. Around 12:15 AM, we went to the bathroom and realized that the flush button is not working. We had to call the receptionist again in the middle of the night. Then, a lady came and checked the flush tank and said it's not filling water and it will be corrected by the maintenance person in the morning. However, she fixed the button and left. The next day, the maintenance guy came by and fixed the issue. We were about to leave in the morning for breakfast when we noticed similar insects as in the first room. The pictures of the insects are attached in the images. Further, the AC could not be turned off in the 2nd room. It made loud noise throughout, disturbing our sleep. Also, both rooms had a terrible smell. Overall, there was nothing that we enjoyed about our stay here. This was the first time we chose candlewood suites and we had the worst experience. Would not recommend this place to anybody.

Everything went great. Had a great stay

We loved the kitchenette and overall size of the room. The bed was very comfortable and although the hotel was busy, we heard very little noise. The hotel was very clean and looked well-maintained. We had a couple of minor concerns, including the toilet which needed a little better anchoring, that we shared with the staff and they were received with a "we'll get right on it" attitude -- good to hear. A "scrubby" for getting dishes ready for dishwasher, would have been better than the brush, but everything else was great. Staff was pleasant and accommodating -- our stay was really enjoyable.
