DISGUSTING!!!! I have NEVER left a bad review until now. This place was absolutely awful. Roaches crawling on the walls. Stains on the towels. A brown poop looking substance on the wall beside the toilet. Staines that appeared to be either blood or Taco Bell sauce on walls and doors. Mold everywhere in the bathroom. Floors unswept. Worms walking on the walls. Stains on curtains. This was a first and last for me within 10 minutes of walking into the room.

The elevator is not always working, but the management is on top of it. Great location. Convenient to great food, Airport and the mountain attractions! Always a good stay here!
- 4/5
Good stay. Relaxed atmosphere
- 2/5
First off I requested a first floor room because I walk with a cane. They put me on the top floor in the room farthest away from the elevator. Then they blocked off ALL handicap parking to paint so I could not use it the entire time. The third morning there was a guy painting outside of our window and he was loudly singing, before 8am, waking us all up!! We asked for housekeeping the 3rd day there and all they did was give us new towels. Didn’t make our beds or anything. I purposely looked for a facility with washer and dryer and, of course, they were not even plugged in at this time. We had no hot water for like an hour and all they did was offer to move rooms. We had been there for 4 days and were not into packing up. There was only 2 small drawers for clothing (I was traveling with 5 people) and no freezer in the fridge (husband recently had surgery and needed to ice but couldn’t). The elevator got stuck halfway open at least 6 times. The entrance light to the room would frequently flicker on and off. Beds were very comfortable and the staff were pleasant. We go to TN every year and will not ever stay here again sadly. We like this area.
- 3/5
Our room was clean, but it had an old smell to it. They could update bathrooms by adding a towel rack in addition to the hook on the back of the door. Staff was very friendly and helpful. It was quiet and the beds sleep well!

First thing I saw was a dirty front door then as I walked in the vending machine was so dirty I would get nothing from it..Walking to our room you could see the walls being dirty as well as the doors..Our room..Bathroom in the corner you could see a patch of mold and they tried to paint over it. The curtains had stains on it..Lucky I brought my own cleaning supplies and sheets..
- 2/5
For a nonsmoking facility the room we got smelled very bad, asked for another room and breakfast was not great
- 4/5
Airport shuttle was late causing us to almost miss our flight. Had to beg to skip the line to make it.

Comfy room, great staff and nice little breakfast :D wrestled with the waffle maker for a moment as id never used one before, but worked it out in the end and enjoyed my short stay, thankyou
- 3/5
Bathrooms a little tired

Room smelled like dirty mop water or a flooded home with mildew and mold. In major need of renovation as well. Definitely not a $300/night establishment.

The people at the front counter are wearing hoodies and skull caps and barely can be understood. The carpets behind the counter look like the result of a flood. Not sure how long ago it was, but it looks like it's been there a while. The breakfast is bare minimum and I mean less than you would find over at a Holiday inn Express or La Quinta next door, etc. I put the oatmeal out they were too lazy to do it themselves. There were problems on the elevators, the washer and dryer were out of service in the laundry facilities - even though I was told they were okay when I called ahead for my 2 week stay. The little guest trays that hold small soap and shampoo samples in the bathrooms were absolutely filthy - and they never got cleaned while I was here. They changed their service policies in the middle of my stay where they were not servicing the room on a daily basis. You have to call for a daily turnover. Nobody let us know. The next several days, service was requested, but they never cleaned the room or changed the towels. Talked to management but nothing got done.
- 4/5
Our one night stay was good. Its an older hotel but our room was large and comfortable.
- 3/5
The room was nice but with dirty floors. All of the employees we interacted with spoke English as a second language and were difficult to communicate with. They often made jokes and laughed at guest in their native language.

Property gives the appearance of having seen better days. Shabby carpet in the corridors, shower faucet didn't work and we had to be moved to another room. Beds were fine, no problems. Breakfast was O.K., except the sausages appeared uncooked (Brown & Serve, unbrowned) and the scambled eggs were overcooked. Another guest had to report that the waffle batter was "like water". There at least was an attendant on hand, who I'm sure was doing her best, but clearly didn't know anything about preparing food. Biggest disappointment was that the indoor pool was closed. Had looked forward to that.
- 3/5
cleanliness no good at room or hotel. Is good because is close to the airport.
- 2/5
Upon arrival to the room it had a musty smell. The bedding was stained. The ceiling in the room had been repaired due to a water leak at some point, it wasn't properly repaired and just thrown together. The pool had a closed sign and wasnt available for use.
- 2/5
The room itself was in terrible condition. The most alarming part of the stay was the blood splatter on the bathroom wall. The bathroom door was very torn up on the inside, it was all quite disturbing. The in-room sprinkler in case of a fire was completely rusted over, I doubt it actually worked. The hotel shuttle was not running, forcing me to use taxi service to get to the airport. And lastly the pool was closed. Overall this hotel stay was rather horrible, I will never stay here again and I would advise others to find an alternative.

I almost canceled but decided to rough it out. Boy!! Nothing could be farther from the truth. The staff was friendly, the room was impeccable, bathroom was clean and sheets were clean. Breakfas area clean and good food. I don't know if I was even at the right Hotel. Seriously nothing to complain about.
- 4/5
Friendly and a good breakfast. Room was a bit noisy A/C and mini frig.
- 5/5
Front desk staff were so nice and friendly!
- 5/5
Everything was good
- 4/5
Bad location if trying to cross highway
- 3/5
The female clerk that checked us in was beyond enormously, rude and disrespectful. She did not want to let me check in because my name is William on my drivers license, but the reservation was under Bill and she argued with me for 15 minutes saying that it was not the same person or the same name. She asked me if I was stupid for not understanding her. I had her call her supervisor and he cleared it. The hotel itself was very clean, very spacious and very quiet, but she is a very bad fixture of that hotel the next day she continued to give me dirty looks And shrug her shoulders
- 1/5
The morning staff not so great
- 4/5
Hotel was fine. A/c would not stay on nor blow cold air even after calling the front desk. They did come up...hit the continuous button...and that made the fan come on but not the cold air a/c. Hallways were also overly warm.
- 5/5
Clean, easy check in, well mannered staff.
- 1/5
Dirty , damp , huge spider in room , didn’t look like it was cleaned . Was in the hot tub and ants all around . Pool area did not look inviting, chipped paint . Didn’t even stay one night , ended up in another hotel near by
- 3/5
The dripping tub in the bathroom was really wasteful.
- 3/5
Rooms were a little dirty. Bathrooms need a huge deep clean. Other than that, the stay was great. The pool was enjoyable for my kids. Friendly and helpful staff. Even with the bathrooms being a little dirty, I would definitely stay here again.
- 1/5
Not clean or well maintained
- 1/5
This hotel was filthy. The hot tub is a joke. You can sit waist deep. I checked out early because I simply could not spend more than one night.
- 5/5
EVERYTHING WAS PERFECTLY PREPARED ABOVE WHAT i EXPECTED!!
- 1/5
If we had a back up available we would have just ate the $1000.00 we paid for 2 rooms for 2 nights and went elsewhere. Being military, all 4 of us couldn't imagine how it could possibly be worse than anything we slept in before. Beds are not clean.. floors nasty. Pretty sure we are all sick now....Staff rude.... we felt so gross when we left, as soon as we got home we all showered and washed anything that had been in those rooms. I brought my pillow from home to use. As ive had issues with my neck since Iraq...after we seen the rooms I didnt even bring it out of my vehicle. If your reading this... AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COSTS.
- 4/5
Nice hotel for price
- 1/5
There was blood stains on the sheets for pull out couch. Washer and dryer were broke needed that as we were traveling. Front desk clerk had a personality of a gnat! We were there for 15 minutes wouldn’t give us a refund never offered another room. We packed up and stayed next door at another hotel
- 4/5
It was ok. The pool area is beat up. But the room as decent.
- 5/5
Perfect location if flying from Knoxville airport. Clean rooms, decent breakfast.
- 4/5
Nice
- 5/5
The comforter and the cover that was thrown on top of the comforter, looked like they had not been washed, so I had to rip them off the bed and just sleep with a sheet. The AC unit was a window unit and kicked on and off randomly, not by the thermostat setting. The window was unlocked and when I went to raise it to air out the room, the window started to fall out, so I shut it and eventually managed to get it up lock. All they had for breakfast were runny scrambled eggs and some odd looking white colored sausage links mixed together in the same pan. Needless to say, I decided to pass on breakfast and just grab a coffee. There was no shampoo in the bathroom or shower, just two types of conditioner and body lotion. If I had not been desperate for a hotel room for the night, I would have requested a refund and walked out.
- 2/5
Staff cleaned room and two days in a row locked us out. Bathtub is a major slip hazard. Needs a coating or bath mat. Asked for a mat and got nothing. Breakfast was adequate. WiFi was okay. Checkin was smooth.
- 2/5
2 lights with no light bulb. Toilet ran all night long. Leak on side of bath tube.
- 4/5
Staff were all awesome! They were friendly and helpful. The pool and hot tub were not maintained— algae were growing in both.
- 4/5
Bathtub was dirty and a used bar of soap was left in there
- 1/5
Went to check in and was told the manager had canceled my reservation. Would have been nice if they were any type of human and gave me a call, or email...stupid MFer's!
- 5/5
Great location
- 3/5
The room was pretty dirty. Mold spots on ceiling in several places. Couch was stained. Several surfaces were dirty as well. Curtains were stained.
- 2/5
Our first room had brown spots on a counter that were still wet, dirty tub, and floor around the toilet was spotted and not clean. We were moved to a second room that was marginally better, but the two rooms that we saw were not too great. Tub tile was moldy or mildewy. The pool was cloudy. The AC unit cooled the room but didn't seem to remove the humidity. Location very convenient to airport and free airport shuttle nice. Our flight was too early so we didn't get to try their breakfast. I would stay somewhere else if I was in the area again.
- 3/5
Rooms were older condition. Chose it for the pool and jacuzzi but did not use either because they looked like they needed to be cleaned.
- 4/5
Close to the airport
- 2/5
The property is old and run down! The pictures made it seem nicer than it was! Overall I’ve stayed in worse places but it was pretty gross! We slept and got the heck out of there! I reminded myself I typically don’t stay at any place called comfort or quality because most of them are old run down hotels !
- 5/5
Great time well kept facilities
- 2/5
One of the lights in the bathroom didn't work and it was very dark. There was an odor in the room like a wet dog. The table in the breakfast area was wobbly causing my drink to spill in my lap and all over the floor and 2 other tables that were the same way. There was a patched repair area by the tub and it was black like it was moldy.
- 5/5
I traveled to Knoxville for college planning with my son and other family. The room was pleasant, the breakfast was sufficient, and the environment was placid. The gentleman at the front desk was very helpful and even assisted me with printing out my son’s transcript for our visit to the university. We ended up staying an extra night and had a great experience both nights.
- 5/5
I use Comfort Inn everytime I go to the Airport, This last time the clerk was so awesome nice and professional, The rooms are clean and the property is clean, the only issue is getting out on alcoa highway, these hotels need to lobby for a red light.
- 4/5
Price was great as well
- 4/5
Generally good, but mattress was horribly worn and sunken in - replace mattress!!! Only two towels and no hand towels - cmon.
- 5/5
Average stay.
- 5/5
Beautiful, comfortable, spacious and affordable room
- 5/5
It was great for what I paid for it. Quiet and convenient. The guy at the front desk wasn’t the nicest guy but check in was easy and thankfully quick.

- 4/5
close to the airpoprt airport shuttle park your car and fly $10 a day
- 3/5
Not as likeable this trip, breakfast was old and horrible, no cream fo the coffee, very little offered. What was offered very stale.
- 5/5
One night stay was totally great, fixing to book for another night.
- 4/5
Knoxville was basically closed due to getting 4" of snow as we flew in from FL so made reservation & took advantage of their free shuttle to hotel from airport, about 1 mile away. Clean, nice pool & hot tub, along w good breakfast. Only drawback was that the only ice machine was on first floor. This was a minor inconvenience. Would not hesitate to stay again. Thumbs up👍
- 4/5
Great stay for the price
- 5/5
Airportcinvience. Staff was excellent. Rooms and hotel were very clean
- 5/5
Very clean and very friendly staff
- 5/5
Great room and good service. I was disappointed with the shuttle to the airport started at 5:00 am. The information on line did not tell me that when I search for booking. I needed a 4:30 am ride to the airport. Therefor a cab needed to be called.
- 5/5
Check in was super easy.
- 5/5
.
- 3/5
We stay at comfort suites a good bit. This was by far the worst condition and comfort I have ever experienced at a Comfort Suites.. needs to be updated and deep cleaned… Bed was like sleeping on bricks and bathroom was very displeasing.
- 4/5
Good staff
- 5/5
Spacious room
- 3/5
This property was very dirty. The man who checked us in was wonderful. It was almost impossible to get to the hotel during rush hour traffic we had to pass our turn for the hotel completely and go to an exit down the road and circle back around to get to it. Very crazy traffic layout in that area.
- 5/5
My room at this property was clean, quiet, and very convenient as I’m traveling here in Tennessee for work. The staff was also very friendly and helpful. Thank you for a great stay!
- 4/5
Comfortable stay and great staff
- 4/5
The stay was nice but they had flooding in the lobby as I checked in and the clean up was right outside my room
- 2/5
When we booked 2 rooms at this hotel we requested a connected rooms or rooms on the same floor. When we checked in they told us the rooms were on separate floors and could not be changed. My elderly legal blind mother in law mentioned she would just yell loudly if she fell, the check in clerk reluctantly moved both rooms to the same floor. We also requested pay at check in so my mother in law could pay for her room. However when we checked in the clerk informed us the room had already been charged and could not be changed. Once in our room it was in poor repair, half the room’s lights didn’t work, & the refrigerator was full of food from a previous guest. There were no extra blankets. We only had 2 towels for 3 registered guests. The heat was set on 80 degrees & the room had a plug in air freshener which was so overwhelming it gave us a headache. The breakfast provided was the bare minimum & the coffee & juice tasted awful. There was no hot chocolate, hard boiled eggs or bananas & only 2 kinds of cereal. We had other family members who rented 2 additional rooms & they had similar issues with their rooms & breakfast experiences. There was also a $3/night service fee charged to each room which the desk clerk could not explain what it was for & wouldn’t remove it. This hotel does not live up to the standards and expectations associated with a Comfort Suites and it is not clean or in good repair. We will not stay here again nor would we recommend it to anyone.
- 1/5
Was a "pay at the hotel" reservation. Hotel immediately put a hold on the reservation the minute it was done on the hotels.com website. Then when i came to check in i wanted to use another credit card to pay and they couldn't do that and charged the card that had the hold on it.
- 2/5
Lack of parking, had to park in grass between different hotels. The centipede in the shower was a first. Wouldn’t pay $200 a night, but being college football season I guess the demand was high.
- 1/5
The rooms were very dirty the floors were not mopped and had a very strong odor in the rooms in certain people hanging in the parking lot all night long.
- 2/5
Just average
- 5/5
Everything was good the only thing is the room I booked said it had a portable shower chair and when I got to my room there wasn’t one when asked the front desk person they said they don’t have anything like that.
- 2/5
It’s disgusting and nothing worked
- 2/5
When I first walked into the room there was a large bug crawling on the floor. The room was very outdated which is not a major problem but on top of that the room was dirty. The couch that was there was stained. The room also had a very heavy ammonia smell. Overall I would not stay here ever again.
- 1/5
The rooms smelled and felt unclean. There were bugs in the room. I bought a pack of crackers in the lobby and ended up throwing them out because when I opened the pack, they looked old and had black spots on them. I would not recommend this place to anyone.
- 1/5
Dirty. Pool was awful and hot tub nor pool not usable. Breakfast awful. Couch was old and very dirty. Items left behind from last family. Very gross would not stay again. Paid a high rate and I feel like it should have been comparable to a motel.
- 1/5
Seemed very dirty and the smell was awful. Lots of stains on the floor and curtains.
- 3/5
Then, one of the rooms was not cleaned and we had to change rooms but only to another room with one bed.
- 3/5
The highway / cross street that needs to be maneuvered while driving to and from the hotel is very busy and difficult to cross. No traffic signals in the area.
- 5/5
Job was very helpful upon check-in, arranging for the airport shuttle to pick us up at 6:00 am the next morning. The room was comfortable and equipped with everything needed for an overnight stay. The bathroom was clean and towels were plentiful, but the fixtures are starting to show some wear. We were able to safely leave our car there for three nights while we made a quick weekend visit to New England.
- 4/5
Was a pretty good hotel , bathroom needed the walls fixed around the shower
- 2/5
Property was terribly outdated. The rooms weren’t cleaned, they tried to check me on to a dirty room. They then checked me into a room which smelled like smoke and the shower was moldy. The pool was outdated and seemingly dirty. The jets in the hot tub did not work. The water was dirty. Overall this was not a good stay it was terrible.
- 3/5
The staff, licati to airport was excellent. Rooms were clean but the heavy use of freebreeze was vey overwhelming, this indicates a need to cover up unpleasant odors. The bathroom and parts of the room were needing repair. The beds were clean and comfortable. There were cockroaches we spotted and killed in the bathroom. Thus the reason I am giving this a poor rating. The Staff was very nice, courteous, and friendly and give them a 5 star or higher rating.
- 3/5
Hotel is very run down and looks as tho maintenance is not a priority. Stay was adequate, but would not recommend.
- 4/5
It was great but they didn't have the airport shuttle due to an accident, but didn't notify us and didn't answer the phone when we rang. We would have been stranded at the airport at 1am if it weren't for the kindness of some strangers. Other than that, it was almost perfect.
- 3/5
The guy at the front desk was very friendly and helpful. The dining room was not kept clean.
