Superb, Excellent, Outstanding, Wonderful!!! If you are going to Amherst for anything stay here!!! Our daughter was a student at SUNY Buffalo for 6 years and just graduated, I’m sorry that this was the first time we stayed here!!! I saw a roll-in cot in the hallway so that is an option if you have three people. If you have the time, book it with the breakfast served 7-10AM, we had it both days-the best!!! You will save money this way I promise!!! Also, kudos to the hotel for a 12 noon checkout- you don’t feel rushed! We stayed two nights and would definitely only choose this hotel again!!!! The hotel is in a very good area between north and south UB campuses, Caniscius University and Daemen University.

Amazing hotel. I do extensive traveling and this one is top notch.

I forgot my charger to my phone on Monday evening (April 6,2026) and the front desk went and searched the lost and found for an adapter for me…..and there was one in there! They let me borrow it for the evening. Front desk went above and beyond to help me. Thank you very much. Anne F

We were greeted at the front desk by the most pleasant staff. The room was spotless and it was so quiet. The lobby was inviting and we found ourselves enjoying the fireplace for a good while. One of our favorite getaways in a bit.

It’s a very nice hotel, but they don’t provide you with the slippers, shower caps or robes. The restaurant is OK, but not amazing.

I thought it was a nice hotel. But I stayed at the Hyatt Place next door for 1 night and it was 1/4 of the price and had a nice breakfast. Nice but not as nice as the price.

Reikart House was great, but there’s really not much in Buffalo. Niagara Falls is pretty cool for about 2 or 3 hours.

Property is beautiful inside and out Room can’t me more welcoming, with every single small touch to make your stay feel like you are on a presidential suite. Fresh cookies and water complimentary (delicious cookies bakes fresh everyday) The rooms are immaculate which is the most important for us. Marble throughout, beautiful rooms, floors, foyer, front desk, decor, everything is perfect

Driving across the United States from Eugene OR to Boston we stopped in Buffalo. This was a great hotel with a superb restaurant. Excellent service and very high end comfortable room. I will be back.

From the beginning, the front desk clerk was professional and friendly. Helpful, concerning dinner plans after our concert. Suggested a few places. Overall, our experience was awesome! Our room was clean and in perfect order. Our mattress was like sleeping on a cloud😆and the pillows were very comfortable. We enjoyed our stay.

The bridal party and myself ( mother of the bride) purchased a corner suite with fireplace for my daughter’s wedding night. When they got there at 1:30 in the morning-they were given a standard room with double beds. After complaining they were given a king bed but not anything special. This reservation was done 6 months in advance! After a friend referred this hotel as the best in the area , I am quite disappointed!

Our room was clean and comfortable and the staff was very friendly! We enjoyed the fresh cookies at check in and enjoyed eating breakfast in the hotel’s restaurant. The location was convenient off the highway and there were restaurants and stores nearby. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay at Reikart House Buffalo.

Lovely unique hotel, in a quieter area of Williamsville.

Very pleasantly surprised by this stay. The hotel seemed newly renovated and the room was in pristine condition, the bed was incredibly comfortable, great restaurants only a mile away, staff was pleasant and gave us evry helpful tips for our state and the location made it easy access to the main highways.

Honestly the best hotel in western New York. The staff is incredible, the rooms are beautiful and spacious, and the food and bar at the Jazzboline are top notch. We travel a lot and the Reikart is a wonderful experience.

I always stay at Reikhart when in Buffalo. It is easy to get to, near Amherst and clean. The suite is the hest option as it is roomy and modern. Staff is friendly

Very clean and comfortable. we had to move because the roon next to us had been rented out to a family with many kids- can't understand how 4 kids and 2 parents could/sould stay in one room. suggest a maximum number.

This is the nicest hotel I have stayed in in a very long time. I loved everything about it. It is very high quality decor, nice sized room and bathroom. Very pretty lobby and grounds. Easy to get in and out of, and the service is phenomenal!

We have stayed at this place for 2 night for a Labor Day weekend and it was amazing! The staff is beyond friendly and caring, the hotel itself is super clean comfortable and cozy. I loved the colonial style it’s made in, my favorite. I have to say that it’s very pricey to stay in any hotel in the US, and the quality of service and accommodation won’t necessarily be worth the price you are asked to pay, which is opposed to this place. I had the best sleep, we had the best time. We had an autistic teen with us and staff was extremely understanding and went above and beyond. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!! Don’t waste your money in the area some place else and come straight here!!!

The property is nice and newish, but the level of service was not what I was expecting - they seemed very short staffed. It was a big negotiation to get my room cleaned, and the special touches other reviewers got (stuffed animals for kids, fresh cookies, any gesture at all) were not received despite booking a suite for several days. The location was convenient for me however - just know it's nothing special.

Water faucets incorrectly plumbed - for adults its inconvenient, child had really hot water exposure. Should be fixed.

I will definitely stay at this hotel again.

The lobby is a nice area, stylishly designed. The rooms are almost motel style. Ground floor looking right into parked cars. They overcharged by a night and wouldn’t reverse the charge. Front desk friendliness was hit and miss.

This is my second stay at the Reikart. Its a very classy and modern hotel. The staff is great and friendly. I loved the bed, I felt like I was sleeping in a cloud. Will book this hotel when I am in the area again.

Hotel is nice, the restaurant beside the hotel used to be great. The menu has changed, portions smaller and EXPENSIVE! Wouldn’t recommend.

This hotel is a modern day luxury. Just a beautiful hotel!

Not 4 stars! Restaurant staff would not seat a central American family even though the restaurant was empty. When the hotel front desk was questioned, they then had room to accommodate. Out of the disrespect originally shown chose not to eat. 1 hour later, restaurant still had available seating. 2 hours later they still had available seating.

I loved the Frank and Dolly suite. And the monkey was a hit!

Booked this place for myself and my husband for Valentine’s Day and I must say this is one of the best. From cleanliness to the hotel decor it was wonderful! The staff was so pleasant and cordially. I forgot my shower cap and they were so quick to appease my request. The theme of the hotel is oh so cute also. We will definitely be back next month!

The stay at Reikart House was absolutely amazing. The check-in process was very smooth because of Ethan at the front desk. He gave us great recommendations on where to eat and shop. I was there to a three night stay and I wish it was longer. The room was very clean and quiet. Every trip to the Buffalo area, I will make sure that I'm staying at the Reikart House.

The kitchen at Jazzboline was not firing on all cylinders. Until staffing becomes easier, they should stick with simpler fare. Room was great except for pillowcases. Hotel laundry needs to find some way to press or fold them. They looked as though someone had already slept on them.

Property was excellent. If I were to make one suggestion though, it's that the beds were way too soft for my liking. I like a soft bed, but they were a little too soft. Everything else was great. Clean, quiet, great staff, restaurant was excellent. Couldn't have been happier.

There was an issue at check in ( hotel reported gas leak) and we thought the staff would have been more accommodating .
