The Motel 6 was in transition (was previously a Quality Inn). The registration system was not completely integrated, so we were given keys to a room with occupants already there--which was a shock to both the occupants and us. The receptionist was quick to remedy this, but it left a sour taste. There was no shampoo in the bathroom and no coffee grinds for the in room coffee machine. Management and housekeeping had no coffee pods available.

Upon check-in, we were told breakfast had been discontinued because Motel 6 was taking over the property. Frustrating, but we were too exhausted to start fighting for refunds and find another hotel at that point. I then discovered there was no elevator, despite requesting first-floor as my son was in a wheelchair. When we entered the room, we were immediately hit with the smell of smoke. There were tape marks all over the smoke detector, questionable residue on multiple surfaces & the “kitchenette” looked like an extremely cheap TEMU purchase. The final straw was realizing the curtains had been removed entirely and the damaged blinds had large missing patches, allowing people walking by to see directly into our room. I contacted Expedia immediately for assistance & waited 10mins to simply be told to “notify the front desk.” After nearly two decades of loyalty to Expedia, the complete lack of customer support during such a difficult situation was incredibly disappointing.

This place was horrible. it was a good place to rest but that’s it. The “breakfast” was a joke. it was only waffles no fruit , no cereal literally nothing. I booked it from friday to monday morning. they took away a day and did not tell me. I came back from getting food and my card was not working on my door. i went to the front and they told me that “check out was at 11”. all of my stuff was still in the room. I had to practically beg just to get my stuff out. 1/2 of my clothes were missing when i was getting my stuff packed. This place is HORRIBLE! do NOT ever come here. what a waste of $197. I would do ANYTHING to get that refunded.

The location is perfect, it's right by the interstate and its about a 20-30min. drive to any of the surrounding areas. The bed was comfortable. I had a room with a kitchen which had a stove, a microwave and a full size fridge. They only offer housekeeping once every 7days. (Although they never showed for me.) I put in 2 requests and they never came. The toilet clogged and it took maintenance over 24 hours to fix it. Also the room was REALLY dirty when I arrived. The floors especially but the outside of the fridge was never wiped down either. The blankets on the bed were upside down, tags at the top, and they charge a pet fee of $25/day for my 5 pound chihuahua. Ehen I removed the bags from the trash cans they were dirty!!! The lighting was awful as well. One more thing...It's a non smoking room but my blanket had cigarette burns!!!

NOTHING!! everything! room was disgusting, looked like a crack house room. Mgr was mean& rude, no empathy to our concerns at all!! made sure to tell me i wouldn't get my $ back even though we didn't stay because it's their policy and i clicked a waiver button on the 3rd party app. . Cat tried to get in our room as we entered. Highly allergic. Felt very unsafe, dirty, trash all over property. tried contacting the mgr boss but no one ever responded to my concerns. DO NOT STAY HERE!! BETTER OFF SLEEPING IN YOUR CAR!!
- 2/5
Could have been lots better!! Better signage to find the room. You could tell the sign. Used to be there but was removed or fell off and no one bothered to put it back. The room needed repair- broken ac unit and really needed a deep clean. There was dust everywhere. Bathroom had mold on the shelf, not sure where the water was coming from but there was water behind the toilet that had bad caulk job. The countertop and floor directly under were slanted like it was in desperate need of repair. Black greasy hand prints were all over the bathroom, shower curtain, light switch and the door. Breakfast would have been ok if you wanted cherrios, a tiny yogurt and waffles. The juicy machine was pure water no flavor and the waffle makers were dirty with black burnt pieces all over. Staff was happier to shoot the breeze than to assist me. No business center available. Watch out a security HOLD turned into a charge to my card. They got a manager involve to return the money just to turn around and charge for the room- same exact amount of money. Glad it was one night. Never again!!

Nothing There was splattered blood on the walls. There was also feces on the roof. I had my 10 month old son with me and I put him on the floor and within 60 seconds he was covered in dirt. He ended up staying in his stroller and car seat the entire time. The lady at the front in the morning was rude and wouldn’t even look at me while I was talking to her and she was on her phone talking to friends every time I would walk up to the desk. One time she even walked away from me without saying she would be right back. Breakfast was a joke there was barely anything. And the pancake batter was watery. I walked to Walmart to get some food for the microwave and there wasn’t a microwave plate in it. There was a couple fighting and yelling so loud at 1130 pm and nothing was done for 30 mins. I really wish I just drove back to my house in New Mexico to stay there instead.

We had stayed at a Quality Inn in the past. We saw there was a restaurant and store nearby. It was the dirty, the 2 doorways had been kicked in. It listed as smoke free but it wasn’t. Drug deals were being done while we were looking for our room. The room directions given were poor not marked.
- 5/5
Awesome stay! Thanks for breakfast
- 1/5
Do not recommend stopping at this property. It was very dark when we got there so we couldn’t tell what it looked like until the next morning but we also had a dirty bathroom. The floors were dirty. We felt very unsafe. We left the next morning when we were supposed to be there for two days and they do not give back a refund.
- 4/5
mixed feelings about this property, as the room itself and facility was excellent, renovated, modern and clean., However, some unsavory characters were lurking about, one person seemed to be living on the stairway as he was there, cleaning his toenails day and night. The Starbucks across the parking lot was basically populated with homeless people in the morning, charging their phones.
- 1/5
Worst hotel I’ve ever been to. I was traveling and got here around midnight. Upon arrival security and staff were outside smoking weed and had me waiting 15 minutes before coming inside to check me in. After finally checking in I got a non smoking room which smelled like cigarettes extremely bad and the room wasn’t clean at all. Poop stains still on the toilet and hair in the shower. Asked for a different room and not only was the bathroom still dirty but the bed sheets and pillows had hair and black stains all over them. Asked for a refund at the front desk but all the high employee had to say was “I don’t know how to do that”. Ended up just leaving even without a refund just because how disgusting and how unprofessional this place was

Real bad conditions
- 2/5
This property is old and it shows. A can of paint could do wonders. I sensed they were trying but have a long way to go. Expected more from a Quality Inn. Learned they may be selling which would explain a lot. Breakfast was pathetic - chocolate waffles, dry cereal, one juice and yogurt, the end. Not even a toaster. Linens were clean and staff friendly. Wish I had my own pillow.
- 1/5

- 5/5

- 3/5
I asked for a fork, and they claim they was put away no service for handicapped,no elevator.
- 4/5
The place is clean, affordable and near to a lot of things.
- 2/5
Cons: Room was dirty with dead bugs on the floor, a slippery tub, and water damage on most of the corners of the room. Only thing offered for breakfast was orange juice and waffles. Felt unsafe at night as homeless individuals hung outside our door every night. We were on the ground level. Security did come by every so often, but didn’t stop someone from overdosing outside one of the doors down the hall. Terrified of coming back to this area and hotel. Will not be returning.
- 1/5
So I booked our group of 10, two rooms. The grounds of the hotel outside are a disaster, weeds, and unkempt. The room appeared to have been cleaned, and smelled extremely strong of bleach. The people hanging out all around this hotel made it clear to me, that this was not family-friendly. We felt extremely unsafe the second we started unloading our stuff. We’ve been traveling across the entire country, and stayed in many different places, campgrounds, hotels, and airbnbs— and this one was so bad we ended up just leaving and driving through the night to get home. We did not get a refund, and we knew we wouldn’t, but it was worth the loss of the money to keep my family safe. I wanted to share so that families know this place seems unsafe.
- 5/5
Don’t know why it is so noisy
- 1/5
drug use , and I'm not just talking about weed. Our room was surrounded by loitering , smoking and noise all night. The property was filthy! yes the room had some updates to look like this photo.
- 3/5
Property outside is run down. Kinda noisy. Rooms are ok. It was clean
- 1/5
Room was not cleaned prior to our arrival dirt on floors light fixture in bathroom was broken and non functional as was the exhaust fan in the bathroom. The floor had not been cleaned in days and no one cleaned out room during the stay we were told the last day we had to ask for that daily. We checked out one day early and have not seen a refund for the last day. I have been in 3rd world countries where the hotels were better maintained
- 1/5
Toilet did not work upon arrival. Was in a no smoking room that reeked of cigarettes. I have really bad asthma and the smell of cigarettes irritates it.
- 1/5
The property is so dirty, the structure, stairs, side walks, metal rails everything is in need of painting, metal is all rusted Rooms are ok, lobby is clean
- 3/5
Breakfast was your choice of granola bars, waffles, or....sorry, that was it. Were those drug deals going doqn by the pet area? Probably
- 1/5
No breakfast to eat like we thought it was suppose to have for us and the kids. Waffles was it and they ran out of mix for it, our microwave couldn't be used because it sounded like it was going to explode and was doing crazy sounds, our bathroom door had to be slammed to get it to shut. And there were people out on the balconys and side walk doing hard drugs right down from us. I dont mean smoking weed i mean other crap. We didnt feel safe at all with all the people walking around and back and forth. :(
- 3/5
Overall look is dated. Many minor issues like a wet toilet paper roll on the holder and a bathroom door that was scraping the floor so much my son had a hard time closing it. The hotel will do the job but I will avoid it in the future.
- 1/5
Rooms were absolutely disgusting, one staff member was very rude about not wanting to stay in a hotel where cleanliness isn’t a priority. They would rather put stink bombs in the ac and call it a day when animals have used the furniture as a potty pad. 10/10 don’t recommend. Also have to be 21 it isn’t state law it depends on the hotel. No where online or when walking into the hotel does it say this.
- 1/5
I've stayed in hotels throughout several states. This Quality Inn has been one of the worst I've stayed in. Crack heads, fentanyl heads, bums, ppl hanging out on the stairways smoking weed. They do what they want around there. I had reserved 2 rooms, one for me and one for my mother. One room had a leak in the sink, the other the fridge wasn't working. Never again would I stay here again.
- 3/5
Good place for a night.
- 1/5
It was run down, dirty, and as you enter it smells like an ash tray. Hotels.com cancelled due to overbooking at the Marriott and their CS rep lied and placed me here. The suite they gave me has ripped furniture. As i walked upstairs, saw cockroach passing through. In the room as I mentioned smell like cigarettes, it was warm with AC unit faulty, ripped furniture, locks in several doors, felt unsafe, dead flies on the floor and another bug i killed. I made a complaint to Hotel.com CS and it was of no help. Told me the place needs to accomodate me in a better rroom . She was clearly not listening to me when I said the place was run down. As told i had to see the manager of the property and wihtout a question and he was not friendly asked me what is the concern and I told him and he quickly cancelled me. I was left without a room and another struggle to get help from Hotels.com. 2 hrs later I was able to get great help rom another person and put a supervisor who was able to assist me. This is a rundown, nasty place.

They say continual breakfast from 6 am till 9am. My husband went at 6 they were setting up I went at 7:30am and there was nothing there. Asked reception for coffee for room she didn't even turn her phone off to get me coffee just said I don't have any at desk right now what room are you in. But Cory the reception yesterday went out his way to get me coffee from the back. I was horrified by this.
- 2/5
When I got there, I was greeted well, but as the next morning came in, I went outside of my room and noticed that there were people sleeping in the bushes on the property. I went to the continental breakfast at about 7am and the only thing they had was frozen, soggy muffins and cereal. When I went back to my room, I was going to take a shower and NO hot water, so I took a cold shower. When I turned in the door card, I asked for a paper receipt for my business and was told to go on the Travelocity website and print it out. Overall, I would rather stay somewhere else. I think I got ripped off for paying over 25 dollars for the night. But the room was decently clean.

Pulled there, got key to the room, it was clean , but the parking lot had multiple disabled cars one was missing 2 tires and sitting on rocks the second a couple of spots away with broken windows, went to the office they gave me a dude room in a different area( by Best Buy ) same story, clean room but outside was were many suspicious people with dogs, smoking drinking, didn’t feel safe to leave my car overnight, went to a different hotel.

Police doing a drug bust in parking lot when we arrived. Front desk lady was smoking pot at check in. When we got to our room, the door didn’t fit in the frame and wouldn’t shut. Please keep in mind I have been staying in Hotels / Motels for the last 8 months and out of the handful of hotels I’ve stayed in this one in particular is the worst one I have ever had to stay in as for there was other occupants that were trying to buy drugs as well as people running around all night making noise all night I didn’t even get a chance to sleep at all. My wife has cancer and we used Expedia for this booking and I am totally unsatisfied with the stay. I’m sure glad I only booked for one evening. So with that being said : I am not ever getting a booking for this place ever again. I feel as though I was robbed when it comes to the payment for this booking. This is Me Moses Hulstine Sr. The review in which you have just read is my opinion based on facts. No need to revise anything as for what’s written is what the truth is

Sketchy people hanging around outside, some smoking pot in the open doors of at least 1 room while we were unloading our vehicle. The breakfast counter was almost bare at 7:00 am. One container of yogurt in the mini fridge, 2 mini muffins on one tray, the other two trays were completely bare. A few slices of bread for toasting. Cooking waffles was an option but syrup was made with HFCS so that was not an option for me. We went elsewhere for breakfast. No one was available at the desk when we checked out so there was no one to tell that there was a water leak at the bathroom sink or that the shower curtain rod was falling out of the wall. So I placed my keys near the computer and left. We won't be returning.
- 1/5
the first room we had, there was no remote, no light bulbe in the lamp and the phone did not work. the office put us in another room and that one the heater did not work. So the office said we dont have any other rooms and that we can either go back to the other room or they can give us back the money. plus they never said breakfast was served from what time to when they stopped having breakfast.
- 5/5
It was a nice environment
- 1/5
The heater does not work, the comforter is a curtain, the bathroom door does not close.
- 3/5
Everyone was super friendly and welcoming, however the lamp on the desk did not work and the room looked like it hadn’t been cleaned before our stay, we only stayed one night so not too bad but if it was a longer stay I definitely would have said something.
- 1/5
Someone claiming to work at the hotel broke into my room. Thank god I had security latched the door. The hotel management refused to Look at the camerea footage from outside my room door. I dispute the charge with my bank and now they made the bank take my money back! Well, since they dont have camerrs I guess...anything can happen there and im sure karma will come for them and get them FAR more in damages and repair then what my room cost. They better make this right with me, for their own good!

It's dirt cheap and orbitz required me to edit out cost/value from this review. So there it is. It's dirt cheap.

Poorly maintained, in need of major renovations, heavy perfume smell in room, skimpy breakfast choices, a bit sketchy location
- 2/5
It was a poor experience. Reservation not found on arrival. Room smelled stale. Safety latch broken. Changed rooms. In new room lamps did not work. Getting in snd out of tub is a danger for an older person. There are no safety bars or anything to hold on to.
- 5/5
I was very pleased with my stay. Clean room. Working Wi-Fi. Hot showers.
- 4/5
The front desk staff is friendly, helpful, & professional. The cleaning & maintenance staff work hard to keep everything clean & comfortable. I think this attests to excellent management. The owners of the building need to do some updating.
- 1/5
It was a pretty horrible one-night stay. Despite being a "non-smoking" facility, there were cigarette burns in the coverlet and toilet seat, and well as the "non-smoking" sign posted outside. The room smelled of old smoke. There were fresh towels out, but the tub had clearly not been cleaned, as there was a snarl of hair on the drain and hairs stuck to the wall. We also spotted roaches multiple times. The remote did not work and the TV was permanently on until unplugged. The clock was set to a to a wrong time. There were a number of people hanging about smoking and playing music outside until all hours of the night- there seemed to be a number of permanent residents. The pool was greenish tinted and had a drift of leaves at the bottom and two dead dragonflies floating. The front desk staff seemed nice enough, but the facility did not meet any basic standards of sanitation or care.
- 5/5
Will be back next time I’m in Denver!
- 2/5
Convenient location. Dirty bathroom floor, filthy carpet.
- 1/5
The room was $400 and it was awful. We considered sleeping in our car instead. Dirty, stains, stinky, 40 year old bedding and carpet, loud air conditioner, loud people outside until 3am.
- 4/5
Hotel is a bit dated but it seems to be in a pretty good neighborhood. Affordable considering the summer spike ( gouge) hotels seem to do. Close to the hospital we need to go to ( big plus)
- 4/5
When you get there. Property needs work. The word sketchy comes to mind. I think it’s day workers staying there. I had no problems. Everyone I met were nice.
- 1/5
This was easily the worst motel I have ever stayed in. Took 20 mins to get into a room due to an issue with the key card. The rooms wreaked of cigarette and weed smoke from nearby rooms and music was blasting all night. The showers were foul. Water was murky. Carpet and the majority of the interior looked like it was the original from the early 90s. Couldn’t have gotten out quicker the next morning. Spend a few extra dollars and go somewhere else.
- 1/5
Area was sketchy and the price was ridiculous
- 3/5
street and highway which wasn’t surprising given the location. Was it better than sleeping in the airport after a flight cancelation, sure. Would I ever willingly stay here if it wasn’t my only budget friendly option on such late notice, no. Friendly staff though!
- 5/5
Ashley great service.
- 3/5
All the lights were on and tv was on when we got to our room. Carpet had a weird almost sticky feel. It wasnt dirty but older and there was a scented disc of some sort in the ac/heater that just made it smell like it was masking a smoke odor or something weird.
- 2/5
We chose the property for its convenient location to both traffic arteries and public transportation. We chose it primarily because of the brand of "Quality Inn" which used to have high standards, but this has obviously deterioriated. It was low quality. The general appearance was somewhat shabby. The bathroom sink was stopped and drained slowly. You had to lean against the door to the room and force it open to get in. The curtains were fraying and looked moth-eaten. There was no servicing of rooms unless you asked for things. If we had paid a lower price, it would be understandable, but this motel is using a reputable brand name to hide neglect.

The room was clean, but hotel is next to a strip mall and there are a lot of homeless people around, some of whom dumped empty liquor bottles and garbage next to our car during the night. It’s a slightly sketchy area, but we didn’t feel unsafe. It was ok for the price.
