    The bad: -Room was dusty and not very clean. The bathroom trash was not emptied before my visit and there was actual sanitary product waste in there. -The room was incredibly small, it felt like a dorm, the tv was at an angle where I had to move around the furniture to see it from the bed, which is the only place to sit except the dilapidated office chair. It was impossible to watch TV while having a meal. I get it's not the Four Seasons, but the layout had zero concern for guest comfort. -The tv service is outdated, for even a 3 star hotel, a smart tv with access to Netflix, etc is prety standard. Luckily I had my laptop for entertainment. -The window literally opened to a brick wall. Again, not expecting much for about 100 a night, but this was laughable. -(minor)the "lending locker"was a joke and entirely empty. --(minor)i had to ask for a key to the pantry area from the front desk, rather than have my room key work.

    I really enjoyed my stay here. The location was extremely convenient, right in the center of everything, which made getting around very easy. The place was very clean and well-maintained, which made me feel comfortable from the moment I arrived. I also appreciated how well-equipped it was—having access to utensils, pots and pans, dish soap, and even a dishwasher made it feel like a home away from home. The WiFi worked perfectly the entire time, which was a huge plus. One of my favorite perks was the unlimited coffee, which was always fresh and available. Overall, this place had everything I needed for a comfortable and stress-free stay, and I would definitely stay here again. For me there was nothing I didn’t like. Nothing is perfect they say but for me this was!

    The staff was very friendly and helpful and the room was clean. The fact that it came with a full kitchen was very helpful. The only issue is that, like with most hotels, the water pressure was terrible. A normally 10-15 minute shower took 30 minutes because the spray was so weak and the setting on the shower head was so wide. It’s mounted way too high for a shorter person to reach it and be able to adjust the spray or the angle. A rainfall shower head would probably be better even if it wouldn’t help the weak water pressure. Other than that one thing it was a very nice hotel in a convenient location.

    I drove in from New Jersey for my father's 70th birthday and we got to the hotel around 1:40pm. I asked the front desk "Rachel" (maybe spelled wrong) first if we could check in early. She stated no. Which was fine. I then informed her that I had more family coming in from out of town and if she would be able to put all of our rooms by one another, she then said no again and I would have to wait until 3pm and see if her relief would do it. At 3pm I went to the desk and she stated I would have to wait for her relief to check in. At that point we were already tired from waiting around for over an hour. She needs better training and her attitude was horrible. Id NEVER STAY HERE AGAIN.

    I was not too concerned about amenities during my stay. There is no breakfast, but access to a cupboard with tea, hot chocolate, and coffee. The first floor is under construction. The automatic doors are slow to open. I watched several frustrated customers barrel through the doors as if they were push to open. The staff laughed at anyone who came up to the front desk with a request such as new sheets, extra towels, and extra blankets. This location is on a busy street, so the road/ traffic noise is loud.

    Let me first say that the front desk staff was great. It’s not their fault that the hotel needs so much work. To get hot water you had to run all faucets at the same time for at least 15 min and until you were done . Bathroom door would not open fully, closet door would not open. Holes in walls. Huge scrapes along the wall.

    In terms of cleanliness, there were was a lot of dust in my room. As a person with severe allergies this was not comfortable. Additionally, the bubbling of paint in the bathroom and rust stains on the ceiling were unappealing. Lastly, the hvac system is extremely loud. It was very hard to hear while in conference calls and I felt I needed to turn the volume on my tv loud to hear over the system.

    The inside of the property wasn’t to bad if you can get past the smell of pot knocking you down as soon as the elevator doors opened. They used some kinda fruity air spray to try to mask the smell but it didn’t help. The room itself was clean, and well maintained. The fact you have to park a minimum of a block away and if there isn’t a place to unload then you have to haul your luggage a block with you thru less than desirable streets. We couldn’t go outside with out people begging money or smokes. They homeless sleeping in the door ways on the way to the hotel from the parking garage also was very uncomfortable.

    Made reservations for 2 days, checked out after the first night… the location is terrible. No parking garage or parking in general, the photos online is NOTHING compared to in person.. the games, pots and pans that online advertise to use while your staying was empty.     So I booked my stay to be for Friday, September 5th and Saturday, September 6th. I always do this when I go out of town to see a baseball game since I always fly out on a red eye so that way, when I arrive in the morning, I can check in, get my key and go to the room to rest. I arrive at Candlewood on Saturday morning and told the front desk clerk the above scenario. She says that, as I did not check in on Friday (check-in time began at 4 pm yesterday), they could not put me in a room. Per her, this is hotel policy, even though my booking with Hotels.com says these two things about Candlewood: 1. Check in time begins at 4 pm and ends at ANYTIME 2. The room won't be guaranteed until full payment is received. I paid in full when I booked the room on Hotels.com. Thank goodness a nearby Marriott had a room available ASAP. Go with Marriott and not Candlewood or any IHG Hotels & Resorts property (which owns Candlewood). I've never had a problem with these "start the stay on Friday, check in Saturday morning" hotel experiences until now. Sadly, from here on out, I'll have to contact these hotels to put a note in my file about checking in on a Saturday morning.

    I wasn’t particularly satisfied. Hotel had no hot water, tepid was the best the shower could do. Not great for those of us who enjoy a hot shower to start the day. I also used the laundry area and the dryers were not doing hot air. Just room temperature. Took a long time to dry my clothes. Ended up hanging my shirts in the closet overnight to finish up.

    Genuinely the worst place I’ve ever booked on this app. There was no parking even though the listing said as much. The hotel had NO AC the entire time I was there which made our room 90 degrees. The staff was rude and when we asked for some sort of compensation, the manager said he’d comp a night and then LEFT. didn’t even ask for our names or room numbers. Do not waste your time.

    This may have been a wonderful place to stay however due to an unforseen issue in the city there was no AC at this location upon arrival. The front desk staff was pleasant and very accomidating but stated that the hotel had known of this issue all day with no forseeable day for the fix. Yet knowing this information they did not call people to advise them of the issue resulting in several ANGRY people who couldn't get other accomindations. In my experience it's better to let your clients know the issues right off the bat so they can make other plans prior to all the other hotels being booked up or costing hundreds more than they planned or have.

    The check-in process took upward of 20 minutes. I had only one towel in my room, when requested a new one/more I had to come down stairs and was given ONE. There were roaches in my room. And the room smelled awful. I’ve never stayed at an IHG hotel, and will never stay at one ever again. I checked out and will be doing the rest of my business trip at a Marriott property.

    The staff was helpful, for sure, but the property needs better maintenance and some repairs, such as repainting the bathroom ceiling in my room and increasing the water pressure for the toilet and shower. The elevator doors need to be upgraded. Consider the security at the door, as homeless people often loiter near the hotel door store next door. Additionally, the garbage in my room was not taken out during my entire stay, and the AC made noise. The staff was limited and trying to multitask. Still, more staff should be assigned, especially over a holiday weekend when three festivals were happening, to reduce waiting time at the front desk.

    Though the accommodations were very well, I was a little concern about the neighborhood in which the property was located. I didn't feel safe exploring the area past a certain time. I had my wife and pet, and I would not let them go out themselves past dark. I know this is nothing you can do about the whole neighborhood, but I wanted to share why I would not be a repeat patronize of your establishment due to those concerns.
