A nicely designed hotel which made use of an historic building. It’s very convenient to parking and walkable to many places in the Washington Heights area. The staff was great and the restaurant was a big step above most hotel restaurants.
- 5/5
Now to the things I did like…the hotel itself is very nice…when u walk in it’s very welcoming. And it’s close to any of the things we did while we were there!

This is not in a family friendly area. Travelers beware at night there is prostition, drug selling and other activities just blocks and in front of the hotel. As a grandmother seeking a safe and family oriented environment. Raring is 0 I am glad I only stayed overnight because of the night activity that surrounded the hotel.made it impossible to go without being exposed to immoral activities. If you have children this is not the hotel for. When my family and I arrived in our room there was a Waterbury in the bathroom on its back. Told the front desk my husband I stepped and came back. The Waterbury was still in the room. My husband had to dispose of it.

Hotel Indigo was perfect for a stopover in Baltimore. The hotel was exceptionally well maintained, the room was great and it had a comfortable bed. We chose to park in the multi-storey carpark which was conveniently located directly opposite the hotel ($15 for 24 hours). Best of all was Kim on reception. She welcomed us warmly, was exceptionally helpful and she was full of the best tips for enjoying the city and its restaurants. Thanks to Kim for making our short stay so special. I’d choose to stay at the Hotel Indigo again without hesitation.

I didn’t like the barn doors on the bathroom that do not provide privacy. Vent didn’t work great. Housekeeping left hand towels and big towels but no new washcloths/face towels. The valet team was horrible, a lot of people working but only the older gentleman actually worked hard. The younger attendants were slow to respond or had to be approached. The employees were generally friendly and were greeting hotel guests which was nice. Also the parking garage across the street was only $7 per day on weekends but valet was $45.
- 5/5
If you have activities planned around the Mt Vernon section of Baltimore, this is the place to stay. Parking is simple and free unless you choose valet. It’s all very efficient. Poets cafe was great for breakfast. Right next door to an historic catholic basilica and a very cool Unitarian church. You can easily walk to the Walter’s museum and the Peabody Library and the Washington monument. Neat place to stay if you appreciate the Charm City.
- 5/5
Very clean and very comfortable. Loved the live jazz in the lobby.
- 4/5
The reason we picked this hotel was the bar on site. We knew we would return late and want a drink. The closing time was 11pm when we asked. When we tried to get a drink at 10, it was already closed. The room was clean, but had an unpleasant odor, so we put the ac on high. It’s a very cute hotel and the staff were friendly.
- 5/5
I absolutely loved our stay! The hotel was amazing and so was the staff. All of them. Food was awesome too.
- 4/5
Great hotel with great staff. One thing to be aware of is the blaring sirens and extremely loud motorcade that parades the streets every night. The windows do almost nothing to block the noise. Nights are LOUD. Be weary if you're a light sleeper. Otherwise, amazing hotel!
- 5/5
Great staff. Daily housekeeping
- 1/5
Sunday PM witnessed 150+ motorcyclists taking over downtown, stopping traffic, disregarding all forms of signage, speeding, traveling on sidewalks, disregarding right of way. Told police have a non persuit field directive. Take your tourist dollars elsewhere

The breakfast was really good! There was some sports team there so it was packed and took about 35mins to get but well worth it. We were also able to walk to the concert we were in town for so very convenient. I would definitely stay there again.

Our stay was short, but knowing that we could come back to a quaint, clean, and welcoming atmosphere made returning “home” both nights something to look forward to. The bar is very unique and the food was delicious- all more than reasonably priced too. Would definitely stay here when in town again!

There is no decent quality staff working there. I think of the 4 days I was there, on each day it was every employees' first day.

Best place to stay in Baltimore! We have been coming for 4 years while our son was in school and finally found the best spot- fairly priced, clean, nice, great location and fantastic staff!

The bed was very comfortable. The decor was lovely and calming but unique. Nice options availble food and amenities. Staff was warm and efficient. Could have used more towels. Curtains did not close all the way. Shower needs some fresh grout. Room was small. It may have been a squeeze for more than 1 person.

Everything was amazing. The valet man was so amazing and helped bring our bags across the street (we self parked) and help us up the disability ramp and took our bags to our room. Everyone was so amazing. Breakfast was good, and we LOVED the free flower seeds in the lobby. We will definitely stay again.

Great people!

From Clayton to the girls at reception to the waitress and cleaning staff everybody had a role to play in making our stay a fantastic one, well done and keep up the good work Nothing
- 4/5
The property was very clean, and the staff was very friendly. Can’t recommend mixed drinks at the bar as the bartender, although friendly, didn’t do very well with my cocktail. Food was on point though, and service was just as good. Highly recommend the honey and old bay chicken wings at the bar. Room was clean enough… Found an awkward burner stain on my top sheet but otherwise a very decent stay. I have enjoyed several different indigo hotels and this one was just fine. Although I nitpick a little bit… Nothing that happened would ever turn me off from this hotel chain.

The hotel is beautiful - well maintained and VERY comfortable! EVERY single staff member is phenomenally nice and helpful! Manager Kim went above and beyond to make our stay perfect, even getting us a last minute room for our daughter to crash in after helping her sister through 36 hours of a very difficult labor and the delivery of our first grandchild! We can’t say enough good things about the Hotel Indigo!! This was our first stay in an IHG property, but it won’t be our last thanks to the wonderful impression this week left on us thanks to everyone here!! Nothing that the hotel could control was bad - the only negative we experienced was that the hallway smelled like weed a couple of nights. The staff immediately sprayed to cleanse the smell on both occasions though.

Great hotel downtown in Mt Vernon area. Close to restaurants, stadiums and museums. Nice sized rooms, comfortable, quiet.

Do not prepay parking through Expedia. They won’t recognize it. You will not get credit for it. We used the valet service for two of the 4 nights. They charged us for all 4 nights of valet parking at $45 a night. I paid to self park across the street, they charged my the 45 dollars on TOP of that. All in I had $300 plus of parking fees for 4 nights. They charged me $200 for valet I didn’t use, I prepaid 85 on Expedia and I then paid another 30 plus for the self parking. They will not refund or credit you. It is a hot mess. And you need to order you lr car from Valet 30-45 minutes before you need it. Very slow getting your car to you. Just pay to self park across the street. Do not involve the staff of the hotel or the valets. The hotel itself is fabulous. I come to Baltimore 6 or 7 times a year and I’ll use the hotel again. But I learned a very painful and expensive lesson on the parking.
- 5/5
The staff was wonderful! My only complaint was the kitchen. The first day, I asked for my poached eggs to be well done, but they were runny. The next day I asked for an egg white omelette, but it looked very yellow...other than that I enjoyed my stay.
- 5/5
Great location if you are going to Camden Yards or Johns Hopkins. Many good restaurants nearby and a very nice restaurant located in the hotel. Staff very helpful. Breakfast and lunch and dinner all delicious. Menu hasn't changed in the past year. We have been staying here for 8 years
- 5/5
Amazing. As always. I stay here every week and wouldn’t go elsewhere.
- 4/5
Restaurant was decent but did not accommodate bringing food to room which defeats the purpose of room service.
- 5/5
Great staff! Check in easy and quick. Lovely hotel, easy to catch the bus to Hopkins. Recommend!

We love it here!

Wonderful customer service the bed was so comfortable that I don’t want to get out of bed; it was more comfortable than my own bed. I stayed at the Indigo for a conference and it was a perfect location

The hotel staff was beyond lovely. I felt like they all cared about us, we felt very much at home. Kim at the front desk could not have been more helpful. The hotel bar/restaurant POETS is lovely. The atmosphere and food was delicious, great cocktail menu too. It was extra special that one night they had a jazz trio. The cost of the valet was a bit high.

Good Location, Clean , most of the staff were friendly. Rooms were tired and lacked storage space . Requesting simple things like extra coathangers seemed to cause a major challenge. We were always one of the first people down for breakfast and yet still you ran out of or did not have simple items that were stated on the menu..( bananas as an example).. you need to do better for prices you are charging.

The staff were absolutely amazing! They were kind, welcoming, and helpful. Based on their interactions, I would love to come back.
- 5/5
Clean room and very helpful and informative staff. The shower took a little while to get warm but fine thereafter. There is an Art museum about a block away and several restaurants too. Parking is across the street in garage but there's a designated drop off area in front of hotel to unload. Did not try their restaurant/bar but it looked nice.
- 5/5
A great hotel for exploring Baltimore. Clean rooms. Great staff. Nice restaurant
- 4/5
Valet I requested my car it took 15-20 minutes to get my vehicle I was first in Que.
- 4/5
Wonderful historic building. Very nicely converted in to a hotel. Well done. There was no guide or listings for the TV channels. A lot of clicking to find something to watch. We couldn't get breakfast because they were short staff and asked that we wait 20 minutes. We didn't want to do that so we checked out and left.
- 5/5
Loved the bar area
- 5/5
Would stay here anytime and everytime!
- 5/5
Very clean room, comfortable bed, great breakfast, very friendly staff.

My family and I stayed for one night. The service was excellent! The staff are very courteous, they extended our check out time to 12pm without any issues. The beds are so comfortable and the rooms are immaculate! I’ll recommend staying at Hotel Indigo if you’re ever in Baltimore.

Best place we have stayed in Baltimore! Very walkable area and the hotel itself is very nice. Staff was helpful and friendly. We’ll be back!

- 5/5
Very nice property in Baltimore. We attended a concert at CFG arena with easy walking distance. Nice bar and breakfast in the hotel, with nice rooms. Definitely recommend.
- 3/5
Beware: internet does not support zoom meetings. I was there for a conference and had to lead a work meeting. After two people were signed in, the internet crapped out, and I had to run across to the Pratt Library (thankful for this library!) which luckily had a room I could use. I had asked a staff member about it earlier, if it could increase or if I could plug in, he sent someone to my room who “made it better,” but both download speed and ping write even worse after that. Don’t come here expecting to be able to work. Otherwise, it was okay. Housekeeping was nice. The beds weren’t that great and felt more like doubles than queens. The location was good. I probably wouldn’t stay here again.
- 5/5
My go to place when I travel. I loved the crisp luxurious bed linen in the Asheville Indigo. Baltimore’s Indigo wasn’t all cotton and they were thin. And please have a hair dryer in rooms.
- 4/5
I do wish they had a bench of some type to put our bags on in the room, rather than having to leave them on the floor. There was an open area in the room that a bench would fit perfectly. I also would have appreciated a sitting area with a mirror and light rather than having to use the bathroom, which had a small counter space.
- 5/5
Stayed here for the AWP conference. Super close to all major locations.
- 5/5
The hotel met all my hopes and expectations. It was a little expensive but was perhaps the best value within the price range.
- 5/5
Solid place to stay with a nice room. They didn’t give us enough towels and weren’t able to help us with housekeeping later in the evening. The parking is easy and inexpensive, which we appreciated.
- 5/5
An absolutely terrific and hospitable location! It quickly became one of my favorites.
- 2/5
The younger staff member at the front desk on 3/6/2026 in the morning was not particularly courteous. However, the senior staff member in the afternoon when I checked in was professional and provided good service.
- 5/5
The hotel was clean, convenient and reasonably priced. The staff was the best.

- 5/5
Great room, great restaurant and great service
- 2/5
Too expensive for what it was. Additional fees upon check out and valet pricing wasn't clear. We had a bigger car and it's $30 for valet, $40 for oversized vehicles. It was $80 to valet our car since they add the two plus additional fees. Would have rather stayed at any other hotel and wouldn't recommend them.
- 5/5
Everything was clean, and great!
- 5/5
Very enjoyable stay!
- 5/5
Room was clean, front desk was courteous.
- 3.5/5
Just felt a little grubby. My bed was decent; the bathroom was drafty and cold. There was supposed to be ice right now the hall but there was just an empty room.
- 5/5
Clean well maintained room. Highly recommend upgrading to a corner room for views and prepayment for wonderful breakfasts. Reasonably priced self parking around the corner. Central to downtown but while close, still incurred a lot of Lyft fares to visit central harbor area where we often visit. May choose a hotel closer to this area when visiting next time.
- 5/5
The room was spacious and very clean and comfortable. The hotel was in a great location! Hotel staff were courteous and helpful. Highly recommended.

The heat work well and chipped in and out seamlessly. Front desk were very nice and offered great suggestions on restaurants and things to do. The bartender was great as were the wings(I didn’t like the ranch). Overall great stay for 3 nights. Definitely recommend and would stay again.
- 4/5
Staff was helpful. Valet set my iphone so I can get free parking and can quickly retrieve car. The room I was originally assigned was not clean so housekeeping quickly moved me to new room that had been cleaned.
- 5/5

- 5/5
Clean room, friendly staff
- 4/5
Staff were courteous. Asked for someone to look at the shower but that was not addressed. Also requested an invoice to be emailed but have yet to receive this.
- 5/5
I did see they had refreshments or snack items in the lobby vending machine area that was good. The Security was very attentive and helpful. I had a walker and the accomodations were accessible for me to get around. I would have to say I didn't see the menu or food prices appealing. I went out to a restaurant to dine.
- 5/5
Everthing was perfect! By far the best experience that I've ever encountered with hotel staff. The front desk staff, Tykwon (sp?) and Dakota, were extremely pleasant, helpful and kind. The made-to-order breakfast was delicious and served in the hotel's beautiful restaurant by an incredible lady! I'm originally from Baltimore and on my frequent trips back "home", I like to play tourist and I stay in a different hotel each time. I've stayed in 14-16 different hotels throughout downtown Baltimore (Inner Harbor, Harbor East, SoBo, Mount Vernon..) Hands down, my experience at The Hotel Indigo was the best. Of late, I travel back and forth from Virginia Beach VA to Baltimore primarily for medical care at the Johns Hopkins Hospital so a certain degree of stress, physical pain, and discomfort are a given with each trip. This most recent trip was the only trip where I felt completely relaxed, was able to sleep comfortably and just thoroughly enjoyed the feeling of my needs being taken care of by a hotel. I felt like I was among friends and, I will definitely be back to visit them soon.🙂
- 5/5
The entire staff (Rachel, Tijuan, Veronica, Carlton) were amazing. Very helpful and considerate. My room was clean and both the breakfast and dinner meals were delicious. I would recommend this hotel!

- 5/5
The employees were very friendly and courteous. The room was respectable and clean. The shower was amazing, very relaxing. Had a tasty burger that I would like to have again my next stay.
- 3/5
A comfortable sleep and the valet was great in timing and getting our vehicle. Unfortunately the breakfast staff was overwhelmed and it took 1/2 hour before being seated and breakfast took another hour to come. Our waitress said it’s like this every weekend which means they need to hire more staff. On checkout, the front desk clerk was passive aggressive when asked for our receipt to be emailed. Not a friendly end to our stay.
- 3/5
We survived the weekend a little chilly at times, but the Staff did their jobs and made it their priority to help us. I hope the got the heat fixed for the next guest.

I think each room is different in this hotel, but I got a lovely room with a little sitting area which was a lovely surprise. Then I found out the included breakfast was a sit down restaurant with amazing food!! So wonderful!! The “Neighborhood Signatures” breakfasts cost a bit extra, but every breakfast I had was delicious and lasted me well through lunch. Highly recommend!!

The staff were very attentive. Always a smile and giving of their time. Valet parking was convenient and flexible. The doorman a pleasure and conversational, filled with tips to enhance your stay. Overall a cut above the price point, harkening to a style that puts your experience first.
- 5/5
This is a first class hotel, one of the nicer that we have stayed in. Great breakfast and location. You get glass water glasses here not the plastic cups that most hotels give you. Room was large. Parking is available separately across the street for a fee.

Winderful staff, spotless accommodations.

This Hoyle has refused to give me a refund on a night that I paid for and it was garenteed refundable through Expedia!! My boyfriend was in the hospital and was released. I checked out a day early and was told it would be refunded, not only by the hotel, but also Expedia when I made the reservation!! I had stayed there 4 night prior and was told I had to make a new reservation per Expedia.. so I did!! And when they contacted the hotel they said that I had to stay 2 nights. I will NEVER use Expedia again or this hotel!!

Overall, the room was good. However, the bathroom door was on a roller and didn't close properly. This lack of privacy was not okay.

The staff were wonderful! They were helpful, friendly, professional and attentive. Carlton the doorman was great from the moment I stepped out of the car. My housekeeper made my room immaculate while I was at breakfast. The front desk staff were helpful and friendly. Compared to other places I’ve stayed the staff seemed as if they really wanted to be there and as though they liked what they were doing which made me feel welcome. I liked my room but wish I had the opportunity to crack a window. Thank you for a lovely stay in Baltimore!

Building was nice sized

The poets restaurant was tasty , the bartenders were pleasant and skilled. The only thing I didn't like was no smart TV's in our room but that's not a big deal! It was mins away from cool lounges. I will come back!!!

I really enjoyed my stay here. The food, the rooms were super comfy and the location to walk to the inner harbor.

The gentleman at the front desk couldn’t have been friendlier! Everyone we encountered here has been so kind. I’d definitely recommend this hotel!
- 5/5
Friendly and accommodating staff, great restaurant, comfortable bed!
- 4/5
The check-in and service was nice and easy. We did not dine at the hotel. The room was very quiet and the bed was comfortable. The bathroom sink is very high and recessed so it is difficult to wash your face.
- 4/5
The reason this hotel is 4 stars not 5, you hear most of what happens on the street. I was on the 8th floor and heard people yelling outsode clearly enough to hear what they were saying. The sirens sounded liek they werenin thebroom with me. The housekeeper attempted to enter my room 3 times pruor to check out time, with no indication of when checkout was. I had to double check that their checkout is the customary 11 am.
- 5/5
Very Clean!
- 4/5
The valet driver was very nice and accommodating
- 5/5
The staff was welcoming and everything was easy to access.
- 5/5
Best staff ever! Clean, friendly, efficient, all perfect!
- 5/5
Best staff ever!!! Clean and comfortable!!
- 5/5
The staff took amazing care of us from start to finish! We enjoyed our stay and the staff were so warm and friendly!
- 5/5
Breakfast was very good
- 4/5
The hotel staff was friendly and helpful. As were the waitstaff at the hotel. And the food was good. But the chef got my order wrong multiple times over my 10-night stay. One order, they got wrong twice. And the manager told me she was the one who was cooking and messed up that time. On my last morning, the pancakes were burnt, and I had no time to ask for a fresh batch. I was comped a meal by the hotel during the stay because of all the mistakes, but this was beyond frustrating and will definitely be a factor when I decide whether to stay at the hotel again.
- 5/5
Thank you, Tyjuan, and the rest of the team for making our stay so pleasant — we’ll definitely be back!
- 5/5
What a lovely hotel! I especially want to recognize Dakota for helping me not only in checking in, but also for her Uber tutoring! Made it easy to get where I needed to go
- 4/5
Front desk customer service great Customer service restaurant average
- 2/5
Everyone was nice.. the hotel needs better maintenance
- 5/5
All staff were wonderful. I had a very pleasant and comfortable experience.Food was excellent I will definitely be coming back !
- 5/5
Nice historic building and very comfortable.
- 5/5
The hotel and staff were excellent.
- 5/5
Hotel was immaculate.
- 3/5
Room was well appointed but walls were thin and the beds were kinda creaky. Staff was very friendly and polite, best part of the stay. The deviled egg dish in the restaurant was disgusting, even made me nauseous after. So recommend eating here at all.
- 5/5
Loved everything about the property and stay. Only comment is that they turned our key off before checkout time at 11 am so we could not get up to the room in the elevator or into the room to get our bags without getting our key updated.
- 4/5
Super nice staff
- 5/5
Indigo Hotel was amazing!! Super friendly stuff. Great spacious room. Super clean. Location was perfect. We would cameback anytime
- 5/5
The Hotel Indigo has a warm & friendly vibe. The front desk team was pleasant and welcoming, and my check-in process was quick. The furniture in my standard king room was cute & colorful, and the size of the room was larger than other boutique hotels that I’ve stayed in previously. I would definitely recommend this property if you’re in the Baltimore area for a concert at the CFG Arena or one of the stadiums for a sporting event.
- 5/5
STAFF WAS GREAT!!! Everyone I worked with met my expectations. Well done renovations.
- 5/5
Staff from the time of my arrival treated me with kindness and professionalism. We will stay again
- 5/5
Clean modern hotel with helpful staff and restaurant on site.
- 5/5
The hotel is absolutely stunning. It was beautiful, clean and comfortable. The views of the city were incredible. Staff were accommodating and knowledgeable. I will definitely stay there whenever I return to Baltimore.
- 5/5
Love the Indigo!
- 5/5
Cameron at the front desk and Dartagnan at the valet were extremely courteous and extra helpful The only drawback is the surrounding area and parking areas are very undafe
- 4/5
Homeless came at me while waiting for my uber! Screaming “ you got my shoes!”
- 5/5
Everything was perfect up until checkout. They do not have a valet service early mornings. So almost missed my flight due to them figuring out where my keys were and I had to get my car myself.
- 5/5
Everything was great! Room was clean! Service was excellent! Enjoyed my stay!
- 2/5
Room seemed old not the boutique experience i was expecting
- 5/5
Great accommodations and excellent service before, during and after our stay! I called with a few questions ahead of time which were thoroughly and kindly answered. The staff quickly checked us in and were super kind. Our room was exactly what we expected, clean and comfortable. We ate at the restaurant and had amazing food and service there. Our check out was quick and seamless and I’d definitely stay here again!
- 5/5
I always stay her because of the location and the style of the hotel... it is just a unique building. The parking garage just across the street works out great as well.
- 5/5
Nice clean hotel with a good location. Able to walk to camden and a few other attractions. Would stay here again.
- 5/5
Hotel was clean, room was nice, & staff was attentive. The only problem I had was there are no microwaves on the room or common areas you can pay a 1 time $10 fee to have one brought to your room. Rate was good for two nights and I would stay again.
- 5/5
Great clean and well positioned hotel
- 4/5
Would not recommend paying for breakfast in advance, it's not a deal just equivalent price in advance. Would have liked late checkout, asked the day before and was told we could but then day of they couldn't. Would benefit from texting/messenger for front desk to better coordinate such concerns.
- 4/5
A lot of traffic in front of hotel, so hard to get to. Place was clean.
- 3/5
The hotel was lacking in basic amenities like water and coffee in the lobby, which I would expect from a property like this. The beds also were not very comfortable, which made it difficult for us to get restful sleep on our trip.
- 3/5
The noise from the traffic outside kept me up most of the night.
- 5/5
Great
- 5/5
The staff was super friendly and the room was comfortable. We had a great breakfast at the restaurant. Shower had adjustable water pressure and I didn’t have to kneel to wash my hair like other places! Parking was conveniently across the street. Cons: The cabinet door for the fridge was broken.
- 5/5
The hotel, staff, and restaurant were great. They have live jazz on Thursdays which was a pleasant surprise! The staff was super attentive and efficient. We had a small issue that was taken care of immediately. The area around the hotel wasn’t the best, but we felt safe in the hotel. We would definitely come back.
- 5/5
Beautiful hotel with attentive staff. Not in a walkable part of town, but we took Ubers.. Hotel bar was very nice!!
- 4/5
We love the location, staff, and vibe. Beds are comfy, towels nice. The outside street can be loud at night so was happy to have ear plugs. Breakfast was a bit disappointing this time, the lack of enough staff led to a long wait. We would stay again, however.
- 5/5
Amazing staff !!
- 4/5
Hotel room was not as clean as I would have liked- we found a cat toy on the floor along with bits of what we think was cat food in various areas of the floor, hard to see since both were brown but an indication the room wasn’t thoroughly vacuumed/ mopped. Also things like the door to the bathroom and other furnishing had fingerprints etc.- just didn’t look cleaned.
- 3/5
Towels: almost
- 5/5
Very professional
- 5/5
Great hotel-staff very friendly!
- 5/5
Staff and service are excellent!
- 1/5
Our stay unfortunately was not great. We weren't given our breakfast vouchers which we paid extra for and they gave my husband a hard time when he would ask for them. Was told breakfast was over at 11am but when we arrived at 10:45am we were told it was too late to be seated, and very rudely. One of the waitresses was very rude and we made sure to avoid her. We had to ask for towels everyday because we were always missing either a hand towel, washcloth or bath towel. There was coffe in the room but no cream or sugar packets. Upside, staff was very nice and adressed issues right away, but it makes you feel like a nag.
- 3/5
The hotel is very deceiving. Looks nothing like the pictures online. Our room smelled old funky stale and one window had a crack in it. And we saw bugs
- 5/5
Didn’t like you had to pay ten bucks to rent a nicrowave tho however super cute. If you want to be added to the list for the breakfast call and do so this hotel is in close proximity of everything bmore has to offer and I loved that. There’s a parking garage across the street 7bucks on the weekends all day / overnight may or may not be cheaper then valet. I would stay here again.
- 5/5
I really enjoyed my stay. I will be back!
- 4/5
Love the modern, artistic look of the hotel. Very clean and staff was friendly. I would definitely stay again, next time I'm in the area.
- 4/5
Disappointed there was not any free coffee in the lobby. It was $5 at the bar to get a coffee since I wasn't eating the sit down pay breakfast. Recommend add this and also jug of water. Bed was comfortable
- 5/5
I had a wonderful stay at your hotel and truly appreciated the warm hospitality from the staff. The check-in process was smooth and efficient, and the team was always friendly and ready to assist.
- 5/5
Great staff. The bar and restaurant are very good. Very clean as well.
- 5/5
Lovely short stay with good staff.
- 4/5
Great hotel & friendly staff. Clean & comfortable bed.
- 5/5
Very clean, staff was amazing and very welcoming, the service was great
- 5/5
Amazing staff, very friendly, made the stay feel like at home.
- 5/5
Good hotel
- 4/5
Noisy
- 5/5
The staff was amazing! Very friendly and helpful. My room was very nice! Has everything you need except a microwave. They even have a kurig! I really enjoyed my stay.
- 4/5
Our check in and check out were fantastic. The room was spacious and the bathroom was very nice. Our room had a funny smell when we arrived and some less dense, less puffy pillows would have been nice.
- 5/5
.
- 5/5
I had a amazing weekend. Everyone was so warm ,kind all over amazing staff
- 5/5
The staff were extremely polite and accomodating. I enjoyed the food at the restraunt and the jazz night. My room was spacious, clean, and a very fair price.
- 3/5
The Ac fans are loud. Not enough outlet. A the microwave you had to pay an extra $10.00. Everything was extra.
- 4/5
The shower head broke I called to report it no one came to fix it. The shower head was old they should be replaced. Otherwise, my stay was good. The gentleman working the front desk day shift on July 22nd, 2025. Was very nice helpful and professional. Sorry I do not know his name. My stay was good. Thank You.
- 5/5
Staff was wonderful! Parking garage was close and safe. Room was clean.
- 5/5
Two things stood out -- the huge and fabulous corner room that would be called a suite at just about any other hotel; and an incredible breakfast, cooked to order with giant crab cakes, all lump crabmeat, as part of the best Eggs Benedict imaginable, with fried potatoes to match. Somebody there really cares about the restaurant!
- 5/5
I would stay here again. The staff was warm and friendly—huge comfy bed and enough sink space to hold my warehouse of cosmetics. Be prepared to pay for street parking meters...the app makes checking in on parking hours easy.
- 5/5
I loved that the hotel had a bar and nice clean rooms!!
- 5/5
The staff were very polite, professional and helpful. I had a great experience at this hotel, i’m definitely returning when i’m in town.
- 3/5
The staff were well-trained and polite. My room was not as clean as I would have liked, but they immediately accommodated me.
- 5/5
Friendly staff. Clean, safe property but needs updating. Excellent complimentary breakfast choices.
- 5/5
The staff was amazing. We were greeted immediately and enthusiastically! Carlton is the doorman/concierge and we would 100% stay at this hotel again just because of him!
- 5/5
The bellhop was extremely efficient, helpful and friendly.
- 5/5
The staff was incredibly kind at check-in especially since we arrived at check-in very very late in the after coming from a concert. The check-in process was done in 5 minutes or less. The room was really spacious and super clean. I would definitely recommend.
- 4/5
I wanted to give five stars in all areas, but did not get the rooms I booked. I had to change the room assignment twice. However, my stay was awesome and I will go again.
- 5/5
Great
- 5/5
Great hotel to stay
- 5/5
I was having surgery at Mercy Medical Center and it was a good and conveient hotel for my wife
- 5/5
It was a great experience
- 5/5
Staff fantastic! Very comfortable beds. We arrived late at night and the surrounding area was a little sketchy with people who seemed to have insecure housing but the near perimeter was completely fine. Up and rising area in the daytime. Food was amazing. Staying there again next month.
- 5/5
Staff was amazing. The first room they gave us had a strange smell so they upgraded us and moved us to a different room. We had lunch in the hotel and the food was excellent and the staff was friendly. I would definitely stay here again.
- 5/5
Staff is very friendly and helpful! Rooms were always very clean with a comfortable bed and great shower!
- 5/5
Everyone was super friendly and treated max like a VIP guest. I truly enjoyed my stay.
- 4/5
Good location to the hospital. Comfortable bed and pillows. Good restaurant.
- 5/5
the staff was awesome. Jamel at the front desk and the girl working the bar on Wednesday night. And the guy wiping down the gym Thursday morning. lovely people
- 5/5
Very good clean will be back
- 4/5
Convenient location to harbor. Room
- 5/5
The hotel is very nice, old building but very well maintained. All the staff is very friendly and helpful, especially Carlton and Jamal. Vallet parking is available for 30 USD/night. We booked via hotels.com with breakfast, you get vouchers which you use but we had to pay something additional as it seem vouchers are 15 USD and since you order a la carte, it depends on what is the price of the dish. Our room was facing the main street, so it was quite noisy, but it didn't bother our sleep.
- 5/5
Clean, spacious room with super friendly and helpful staff at a great rate. Recommend highly.
- 5/5
Wonderful!
- 4/5
Suggestion---it would be nice to have a towel bar in the bathroom to hang wet washcloths instead of draping them over the sink.
- 4/5
We were waiting more then
- 5/5
Dakota was amazing at front desk. She was very informative with recommendations for dinner and activities to do.
- 5/5
What a 'gem' in charm city !!! The major strength was the knowledge and helpfulness of ALL of the employees.
- 5/5
Lady at the front desk was wonderful, friendly and helpful.
- 5/5
I liked every about the property.
- 4/5
Hotel was good. People friendly and helpful
- 5/5
Amazing atmosphere, bar and food was amazing and the staff were kind/courteous.
- 5/5
Very nice hotel in a cool neighborhood in Baltimore. Walkable & great restaurants nearby
- 5/5
Excellent experience. No issues encountered though I checked in really late and left really early. Everything was above bar from friendliness to cleanliness.
- 5/5
Nice staff
- 4/5
The hotel is nice. Check in was easy, room was spacious and clean. There is a parking garage across the street. A couple drawbacks are the street is very busy can be noisy, and there is a number of homeless people sleep on the street. The homeless doesnt bother me considering I live in a city with a considerable amount of homeless people, but i can see how it could be an issue for others. The homeless doesnt hassle nor beg but they are there none the less.
- 5/5
*Top tip - sign up to become an IHG member (on their app) for benefits that include possible free room upgrade and late checkout (up to 2pm) 🙂
- 5/5
Staff were excellent, the food was excellent, room was clean.
- 5/5
I was very impressed not only with the hotel and staff, but the fact that the parking garage was directly across the street and they also offered valet parking.
- 5/5
Staff was some of the friendliest we have ever experienced at a hotel. Hotel was recently updated and was stylish. Bed was comfy.
- 5/5
Great hotel. Amazing food.
- 5/5
Comfortable and roomy. The only thing I don’t like about these rooms is the bathroom barn door. When they are shut for use there is a gap on both sides that people on the other side can easily see through.
- 5/5
The staff, facility and everything overall was nice. Having to park across the street in the parking lot across the street that wasn’t the safest wasn’t ideal, but did not impact my experience
- 4/5
It was a nice stay but the downstairs restaurant was v slow. Was going to get an email receipt but never got uuy
- 5/5
My kids and stayed for a couple days and the staff was very friendly and helpful! The rooms were very clean and the restaurant food was delicious! We really enjoyed our stay and will definitely visit again!
- 5/5
Great service and wonderful Location
- 3/5
Room was okay, however, the AC unit was extremely loud. Bedding comforter was a bit ripped. Unfortunately, the cable was out for the majority of the stay due to the weather. Trash cans did not have liners in the room and you have to rent a microwave for $10. Overall, ambience of Hotel Indigo was very nice, warm, & inviting.
- 5/5
Didn't like parking garage close at a certain time...i paid for2 day parking came back the gate was down n locked
- 4/5
The hotel is nice and conveniently located near John Hopkins University. However, the city of Baltimore is economically depressed and full of graffiti and vacant properties. There were a few homeless people oitside sleeping on the sidewalk. The hotel is nice - and likely one of the best in the city. But the town needs help. No need to go outside. They had a nice jazz band playing when we arrived. Bed was comfy.
- 1/5
Lost for words. Vomit in the elevator. Rooms stank of smoke.
- 4/5
To be fair was under construction
- 5/5
Na
- 3/5
I love the hotel and the location, but the housekeeping caused me a headache. I appreciate the move from individual shampoo etc to larger refillable bottles--but you have to actually REFILL them (and keep them in working order). I asked for my conditioner to be refilled, leaving a nice note, and I think the bottle was just turned around a bit to try to prime the pump. I shouldn't have to carry my own toiletries and my long hair really needs conditioner. If you want to use the larger bottles, you have to be on top of this or you put your guests in a difficult spot...
- 5/5
It was amazing!
- 5/5
While he was grabbing a cart for our luggage, the valet crew was equally as nice and helpful and showed where to sign up for the valet parking. Our 3 night stay was very positive with valet crew. If we requested our truck, it was only a matter of minutes and they were there with a smile on their face. The front desk crew (while our interaction there was limited) was also incredibly nice and helpful. We absolutely loved the bar/restaurant. Foods a little pricy, but the service was outstanding. We especially would like to give notice to the lady who was our bar tender each evening. She was the best! She was funny, great at what she did and made some fantastic drinks. Also, the lady we had for breakfast one morning was also amazingly good at being our waitress. Our room was very clean and cozy. Overall the experience at this hotel was one our easiest 10 out of 10’s we’ve ever given. Unfortunately, it was in Baltimore and we’ll never return lol. However, if some life event warrants us to mandatorily be in Baltimore, we will no doubt book our stay at this Hotel Indigo. Such hugggggge thanks to all your staff!!!

Business Travel
- 5/5
Great hotel in a challenging neighborhood. I still recommend it.
- 4/5
Awesome hotel and great location if attending any events at Peabody or Walters art museum. The number of homeless people who are on the streets of Baltimore seems to be increasing rapidly.
- 5/5
All excellent.
- 5/5
No complaints.. time there was pleasant.
- 5/5
Amazing
- 5/5
Had a lovely business stay. I wish the staff at the front desk had been a little more cheerful and engaging
- 5/5
Everything was wonderful!
- 5/5
Love going here.
- 3/5
This was my second stay at the hotel. The room furniture was in need of repairs this time around. My room also was not cleaned. My towels were replaced but not my shower mat.
- 5/5
Clean, great staff at the front desk, valets, restaurants, and housekeeping
- 5/5
The property is nice, and close to many of the musuems and other tourist attractions. I only stayed for two days but it was really nice.
- 5/5
Lovely property! The downstairs restaurant was quite good, too.
- 4/5
Horrible location
- 1/5
Becareful with this hotel, they charge you a bunch of necessary fees
- 5/5
Everything
- 5/5
Everything from the food to the service.
- 5/5
We had a great weekend stay. We even extended for a third night. The hotel has a nice feel to it. All the staff were super nice. The rooms fresh and clean. And we had fun just hanging out at the hotel lobby bar. All for a fairly reasonable price.
- 5/5
Great location, walkable to convention center
- 5/5
Very quiet rooms, great for a quick business trip
- 4/5
An extra chair other than just a desk chair. The TV had very limited channel access. Bathroom had no hooks anywhere to hang towels or clothes. Limited number of hangers in closet and no drawers for clothes. Lobby and restaurant area were cold due to close proximity to the entrance and constant door opening. Two Computers available for guests had errors, so were not working and there was no one at night on staff to get them up and running so we could not print out our flight boarding passes. All staff members we interacted with were always very pleasant, respectful, and helpful.
- 5/5
Great
- 5/5
Staff was excellent
- 5/5
Didn’t know they had an airport to hotel options. The uber there and back to the airport is expensive and that service definitely should be more known. Overall was a good stay
- 5/5
The assistant manager was very kind and hospitable.
- 4/5
The hotel its self and employees were very nice and kind, parking wasn’t a nightmare either and just about ever you could want is with in walking distance. The food and drink however at the poets restaurant were overpriced for the quality and the bartender lied to us about the brands of alcohol, clearly they put cheap liquor back into expensive bottles. Very subpar on the restaurant. Overall I’d say a 4 out of 5.
- 4/5
Pretty nice hotel I would definitely stay again
- 5/5
Everything were good.
- 4/5
Nicely decorated.
- 5/5
The hotel was so dog friendly. We even had water bowls and Milk Bone treats at the front for the dogs. The restaurant was so great and convenient. The staff was really helpful.
- 3/5
We drove in and had gotten the "$30 parking deal". Turns out it costs $30 to park in the public garage across the street, so paying the hotel $30 isn't really a "deal". The real problem is that we had to pay to get out of the unmanned parking garage - there's nowhere to submit your "validated" parking ticket. So we paid the hotel $30 to park and then we paid again to get out of the garage. Very frustrating situation all around. Not sure why the hotel is involved in this at all - it's a public garage across the street.
- 5/5
Staff was super friendly thoroughly enjoyed the trip. The room was superb. Parking was a bit pricey, but would definitely recommend for future stays.
- 4/5
Great restaurant and location near the concert arena
- 4/5
This property is rustic and is down the block from a shelter
- 5/5
Everything was wonderful, the decorations for Christmas were so pretty. Kim was so very helpful. We will stay here again on our next visit to Baltimore!
- 5/5
The staff - valet/doorman, front desk, restaurant, housekeeping, ALL OF THEM - we warm, friendly, and welcoming! The food in Poets (restaurant and bar) was great. Bed was very comfortable and the walk in shower was roomy and had great water pressure and quick hot water. The room had a couple of minor maintenance issues - the deadbolt didn’t work and the cabinet door in front of the mini fridge didn’t close properly. We would absolutely stay here again!
- 4/5
Stayed here twice. It’s clean and comfortable.
- 5/5
The valets and staff were wonderful!
- 1/5
Unfortunately, the heating system in my room was not functioning properly throughout my stay. Despite my efforts to address this, I contacted the front desk for assistance, and while the staff member was polite and responsive, the situation remained unresolved. She sent a bellhop to assist, as the engineer never came. Unfortunately, the bellhop was unfamiliar with how to operate the new system, and the front desk later informed me that staff had not been trained on it either. The only solution offered was an extra blanket, which did little to alleviate the discomfort.
- 5/5
Beautiful hotel renovated used to be a ymca. Bar not open on Mondays:(
- 4/5
The staff was very nice and helpful… the rooms were nice but the area was kind of poor but that’s the life of downtown a Baltimore. Overall it’s the perfect convenience
- 5/5
This is my hometown. It has excellent dining, broad arts community and entertainment.
- 5/5
The hotel was lovely- very friendly staff and clean facility.
- 5/5
Fabulous! Funky hotel with a great restaurant. Clean, the rooms are big and bright. And the staff are amazing!!
- 4/5
Our stay was amazing. We only stayed one night but the service staff and rooms were amazing for a hotel in the middle of the city. My only complaint is the bathroom door. Whe. You closed the sliding door there was still a gap.
- 5/5
I stayed three nights. My stay at the hotel was great. Room was exceptionally clean and large. I had a corner room with separate living area. Room did have a mini refrig. The food was amazing. The crabcake sliders and honey old bay wings were awesome. I traveled solo although my daughter lives there. I felt safe and secure. Walk abilility in the area is good. I walked to the inner harbor with no issues. I definitely will stay here again.
- 5/5
It was a wonderful experience. The only downside was the parking garage but we were only staying overnight so it wasn’t too much of a big deal.
- 2/5
We were evacuated due to fire smoke on the floor below me. Ruined my whole day and was unable to do what I had planned. I checked out two days early because I was so freaked out. I was not offered any kind of compensation for this. They could have at least comped a night off
- 5/5
Very nice.
- 4/5
However, this is the only hotel I’ve ever stayed in that did not have a hair dryer in the bath. No creamers or stir sticks for in room coffee, and our coffee maker didn’t work anyway. These were problems for me, but I did not mention them to any staff
- 5/5
This hotel was beautiful, the rooms were great and the employees were all friendly. Will definitely stay here again.
- 5/5
Whenever we come to Baltimore, we stay at the Indigo! Awesome service and very comfortable rooms. We all slept great!
- 5/5
Very friendly staff, comfortable beds, and nice bathrooms. Restaurant was very good too.
- 5/5
I came down to Baltimore to see my son perform at the Peabody Institute. I picked the hotel because of the convenient location--but wow, this is my new favorite place to stay. Very comfortable and chic--but the staff is what really makes the difference. Everyone went above and beyond to make us feel welcome, especially Veronica and Steven!
- 4/5
This is a lovely hotel and the service is lovely. I am always warmly welcomed. The rooms have always been spotlessly clean. This time around the soap dispenser in the shower was empty, but luckily, I brought my own.
- 5/5
Staff was attentive from the moment we arrived. Check-in was effortless. Huge thanks to Carleton and the whole night crew. Meal at Poets was amazing. Thank you Maris for your kindness.
- 5/5
Are there friendlier people in the hotel business. Top notch service beginning to end
- 4/5
Really enjoyed the food that was served in their restaurant Poets.
- 5/5
Really enjoyed my stay and would book this hotel again. It was a perfect location for me with easy walks to great restaurants.
- 5/5
Nice stay
- 5/5
Clean. Great food and free breakfast.
- 2/5
Overall I’ve stayed at a lot worse places. However, Hotel Indigo’s elsewhere are much nicer than this location. Lots of homeless people in the streets- not their fault, but it is part of staying at this location. Room is nice - bed and pillows were comfy. Clean room, but the hot water in the bathroom faucet only comes out as a very weak drizzle in the sink (Room 107). Nice that they have a bar and restaurant in the lobby, and some snacks and beer at the lobby store for late night cravings. Breakfast was ok. The “New Chef” that cooked the eggs for my Crab cake Benedict I had for breakfast hard boiled the poached egg. Came in for a drink at the end of the night and the soda wand behind the bar had flat soda. The guy tried changing the CO2 and it’s still flat. Those are whatever type things though. The biggest thing for me was when I noticed fruit flies fluttering around and saw a glass/cup with some red wine in it hidden back where the liquor is with a bunch of fruit flies in it- which is a HUGE red flag. That’s a well known hack for trapping fruit flies by poking holes in plastic wrap and putting it over said glass so they can’t escape (you could see the plastic wrap over the lip of the cup that had a bunch of flies in it). This place has major health code violation vibes when you see fruit flies, and especially by seeing that this type of trap is the way they chose to deal with it. Gross.
- 5/5
Bed was comfortable, staff was great and accommodating
- 5/5
Staff was very friendly and attended to our needs
- 4/5
The staff was nice
- 4/5
Front desk staff was stellar!
- 5/5
It was amazing. Highly recommend. No complaints.
- 5/5

No convenient stores nearby for essentials and the area does not feel safe to walk around alone.

I like the location in Mount Vernon area near to lovely Walters Museum. Check in time (4pm) is strict - I arrived before time and they offered early check in at the cost of $25! Spacious room with 2 queen beds. Very noisy - traffic noise from outside despite high floor and small window - and noisy central air con that you couldn’t switch off. I couldn’t use the toiletries provided as they were so strongly perfumed.

Nice hotel, friendly staff. Only thing, they did not clean our room when we left for the day. We left around 8am and requested our room to be cleaned earlier if possible. We arrived around 3:30 pm and our room was not cleaned. Luckily, housekeeping was working on the room next to ours so we were able to toss out our trash and request new towels

The staff was extremely helpful and friendly as soon as we pulled up. The hotel is in a good spot with parking across the street. Loved the bar and the servers.

I can't remember the young man's name, but I never been asked if there were special accommodations I would like to have for a room, and my request was to not be near an elevator if possible. He took his time and looked for that very room for me and that meant a lot to me. The morning desk staff were great also, a quick checkout and quick instructions how to get out the parking garage. This was my second stay at this hotel and I have to say this will be my hotel of choice when visiting Baltimore.
