Reviews

However, some guests have experienced issues with air conditioning, hot water, and fire alarm evacuations. Additionally, the valet service is often criticized for being pricey.

Breakfast tasted stale and very pricey. Sink leaking from knobs in bathroom. Curtains in room were off the track

An adorable boutique hotel walking distance to great museums, food, parks and transit: great helpful staff. Amazing views of a beautiful historic neighborhood. Highly recommended!
- 5/5
Staff was super friendly! They upgraded us upon arrival! Great location and restaurant/bar on rooftop.
- 5/5
Great location just next to the Washington Monument. The purple Baltimore Circulator stops at the monument and takes you down to the Inner Harbor. The rooms were clean. The staff were wonderful! We enjoyed the convenience of the in hotel food options-especially The Dashery. If we return to Baltimore this is where we will stay.

We had a wonderful stay! Lorenzo was so helpful. Rooftop bar was fun! Across from Mt. Vernon square park was nice to go sit and relax. Close to the Lyric where we saw live music. We will definitely stay again!
- 4/5
We had an issue with our air conditioner, but the staff was fantastic and they had us moved to a new room within a half an hour. Everyone was very friendly and very helpful. The hotel was very eclectic.
- 5/5
Great location. Helpful and knowledgeable staff. Wish the valet parking were a little cheaper but whatever.
- 3/5
The breakfast was pretty good though. For the price of the breakfast, I would’ve rather been at any other hotel. I regretted my choice very quickly and kept telling my husband, “Never again!” There was an employee we passed in the hall who explained how the elevator worked. He was nice.
- 5/5
The staff were super friendly and helpful, and the hotel is beautiful. It’s also in a great location of the city.
- 5/5
Very clean, nice staff especially Chris, very helpful, almost always available. He helped us with our luggage, and helped us extend our stay, he went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable and pleasant

Wonderful hotel in a great location. The room was spacious, tastefully decorated, and had a splendid view. The rooftop bar & restaurant are an extra plus. Staff was very friendly and helpful. I will be back for sure. All was just perfect.
- 5/5
Great bar and restaurant. Valet parking was great and easy. Front desk staff was super helpful. Elevator seemed to make a lot of noise and a little claustrophobic but that's the nostalgia of old buildings.
- 5/5
Great place, with an even greater charm.

Every staff member I encountered during my stay was very friendly and helpful. Even in areas that seemed short staffed the employees worked as a team to keep things running smoothly.

It provided dining options within walking distance and short walk to light rail. Made attendance at Camden Yards and inner harbor easy to reach.

Amazing!
- 3/5
Property was different and quirky, but needs a big improvement in management. The valet had no name tag or identification when he came to take the car (appeared from around the corner). During check in we were told the hotel accidentally overbooked and we may not have a place to stay. After 10 minutes back and forth we finally received our room but not before other guests came back down to say they had been given access to someone else's room that they were already settled into. The room had trash on the floor, no hot water in bathroom sink and shower hardware was coming off the wall. This place is far from luxurious or romantic. I would not recommend staying here.

- 3/5
The location is close to the central, approximately 15mins walk, as a slow walker. The hotel colour made me sick and the price is too high for the quality, the staff at the restaurant were not so kind, they keep giving me a cold coffee and no charging points for phones, just an outdated box on one side, no USB ports, you will be forced to buy their charger for 15 dollars.

AC did not work properly. While it was set to 65 all night it never went down from 77!!!!

Hotel Revival is always clean, convenient, and affordable. This has become our go-to hotel when we visit Baltimore. Love the dining options in the hotel! I wish it was possible to crack the windows in the room but I realize that is most likely a safety feature.

We had a great stay! The staff went above and beyond and need a shout out. The front desk team was extremely kind and helpful. Thank you!

The property has 107 rooms, two restaurants, a karaoke lounge, generous public spaces and a vigorous local art program. Corner rooms on the 10th and 11th floors are the best. They are the most spacious and my favs. Sometimes one little thing doesn't work properly but this grande dame is over 100 years old so be it. I love visiting Baltimore and having the Hotel Revival as my home base. Stay here 100%

Fabulous hotel from check-in to chexk-out!! Only wish they had a better option fro parking cars. We opted not to use the valet. Also the rooftop restaurant is terrific but the menu is a bit limited. Lorenzo was fantastic at the front desk. Thank you!

This place is a gem. A 1920s building tastefully modernized, a warm, helpful staff, and an unbeatable location in Baltimore’s most beautiful historic district. Walkable from Union Station. Property has a classic restored vibe. Room was very clean, very well stocked including a tea kettle. Restaurant on site was very good, menu uses exceptionally small font. It was ok. The valet staff was very good. The front desk was nice on the way in. I called down later to ask whether they had any non-down, thinner pillows. She answered and said “hang on a minute” and then proceeded to talk to someone else in my ear about other stuff and then seemed really confused about what I meant about the pillow, and then said she’d have someone look into it. I was pretty sure nobody was coming and they never did. I used a folded towel for a pillow.

My recent stay at Hotel Revival Baltimore exceed my expectations. Check-in process was easy, staff friendly, professional and efficient. Helpful with suggestions for dining. Room was clean, pleasant, water in shower did not get very hot but pleasantly warm. Mattress a little lumpy but provided a pleasant night's rest. A little noisy near the elevator and loud noise outside. Overall good stay as usual, will book again!

Great location and cute property!
- 5/5
Comfortable, spacious room, welcoming and accommodating staff. Lovely historic neighborhood. Easy walk to convention center. No complaints
- 1/5
I was not happy with my stay. They first gave me a room facing the brick wall. The room light didn’t work one of the lights next to the bed and then it turned out. The TV didn’t work so I asked for a new room. The new room was OK and it had a view. However, it was missing a lamp on one of the side tables didn’t have any place to put your luggage and the closet was in a weird place in the bathroom. Behind the door. Food was great at the restaurant oh, and I forgot it started out where they don’t tell you write the right place to bring your car too. I didn’t know where the valet was. There was no sign where the parking in front of the building was to say that the valet is around the corner. Also, the valet elevator for bringing luggage down onto the first floor from the street was not working and all the luggage racks do not fit the elevator you could barely get in with the luggage rack, and the luggage rack can’t be turned around inside the elevator. This to me is not a luxury hotel
- 5/5
Great location that was close to downtown Baltimore and other locations
- 5/5
My favorite hotel, anywhere. It is always a treat to stay here. The decor is beautiful, thoughtful, and interesting! Such a nice change from standard corporate hotel style. The minibar and snacks are very nice. The Topside and B-Side are both fun places to go. The lobby area is a nice place to sit, with interesting art and furniture. The views are great, especially if you face the Washington monument. And the location! You are in the heart of the most beautiful neighborhood, MOUNT VERNON, in the GREAT city of BALTIMORE.
- 5/5
Great one night stay! Will be booking again!
- 5/5
The room was clean and spacious and it was in a great location. We enjoyed the breakfast cafe downstairs as well as the ease of walking everywhere we wanted to go. There's a wonderful free museum on the next block. There was a miscommunication/misunderstanding with the cost of the room. Luckily, after a few calls, it was sorted out and we were refunded. Otherwise, no issues with our stay. I would recommend this hotel and would stay here again.
- 5/5
My stay at Hotel Revival was excellent! I enjoyed every night I stayed at this hotel and the best thing about is I never had to leave the hotel once because everything is there for you to have fun, eat, and drink. The rooms are beautiful and the bathroom was exceptionally clean which I appreciated. Topside was amazing, with great food and vibes. The karaoke rooms are so fun! They provide water, coffee, and tea in the room and they have mini bar with snacks and drinks (including alcoholic). This hotel also does valet which was a surprise but it turned out okay. I did notice that our things were rummaged through in our glove compartment by one of the valet guys but nothing was missing. My birthday weekend was a success and I will definitely be back!

Charming and beautiful hotel in walking distance from restaurants and entertainment
- 5/5
Great downtown location and great aesthetics, the room itself and the public spaces are all welcoming and attractive and feel personal, if that's the right word, i.e. not like a chain hotel (I don't know if it IS in fact part of a chain; probably not).
- 5/5
Always a pleasure staying here :)
- 5/5
A wonderful experience with a terrific, friendly staff. Great vibes and stylish place.
- 4/5
The room was super clean, definitely a high end motel, most people we encountered were decent and friendly.
- 4/5
Love the look and vibe of this hotel. The room was very clean and had unique personalized touches. The shower faucet was missing the part that switched water from the bath to the shower head, so we couldn't take a shower. This seemed like a one-time issue. The rooftop restaurant, Topside, has an amazing view of Baltimore and the food is delicious.
- 5/5
Lorenzo was Amazing! Great Frontman!
- 5/5
Staff was among. Rooms are very nice with a wonderful view.
- 3.5/5
Staff was great - went out of their way to help me with some unique travel needs and ensuring my billing was correct. View from the room was beautiful, water pressure in the shower was great and bed was comfy. The towels in the room were covered in someone else's hair and the floor did not look like it had been vacuumed. :( Staff helped me get new towels but it made for an unpleasant start to the night.
- 5/5
Clean and great staff
- 5/5
The room was spacious and kept clean. Staff was extremely courteous. Very Satisfied.
- 5/5
Great service. Top side was slammed which everyone could see but the bar tenders were doing their best and able to communicate well and apologize for the delay.
- 4/5
The room was so nice and really cute! They had snacks and drinks available in the room (at a price of course) and the heat was so perfect. Some hotels are super cold but the thermostat had me sleeping like a baby. The only issue I had was with the TV. It was very outdated and seemed very slow. I tried to turn on the same streaming service like 5 times before giving up and just watching on my iPad. I think the TVs should be updated to suit 2026 streaming services. Other than that, everything was wonderful!

This hotel has swag and charm reflecting Baltimore City. A must stay.
- 5/5
The rooms are spacious and clean, and the front desk staff is amazing! We stay almost every Monday night for business purposes, and the girl at the front desk is a real gem!
- 5/5
Great atmosphere, Great Staff… The stay was nothing less than exceptional. My only complain would be I had no time for an extra day.
- 5/5
Awesome stay!
- 3/5
Room was clean and comfortable. Two issues- was no hot water. And the shower head was stuck and basically spraying directly out of the stall so we needed to use a separate bathroom. So while hotel seemed nice I think we got unlucky
- 5/5
The view from the corner room was amazing. The decor was thoughtful and enhanced the stay.
- 5/5
Boutique and small but great food and accommodations. Lavetory sink slow to drain, and bathroom door sticks. Overall 200 years and nice. We felt secure with keycard elevators only allowing to checkin floor.
- 5/5
Nice staff, beautiful hotel. Definitely my next stay when I’m Baltimore, looking forward to a Spring stay.

Clean room, helpful staff, and good restaurants in the hotel.

GREAT VIEW, GREAT BUILDING
- 5/5
The only improvement I would make is that the bed have a bottom sheet that fits and stays on and the mattress itself could be more comfortable. It was very noisy and when someone moved, it woke the other person up!
- 5/5
Spotless room. Such cute decor with a great vibe. Friendly staff. Will be back for sure

Customer service was #1
- 3/5
I loved the spacious room and well stocked snack and drink options in the room, including the free water. The decor was beautiful. The bathroom had a gorgeous vintage look. I had a great view of the lit up monument at night. The coffee shop was serving a delicious orange chocolate chai. I only ate at the hotel rooftop restaurant the last 48 hours of my stay. I was mostly pleased with the food on offer. Unfortunatley, the night before my flight home I contracted food poisoning after dinner. I told the staff the following morning and the front desk staff gave a simple “feel better.” I would have hoped they had asked if they could bring me anything (an extra duvet would have been nice but at least I could turn up the thermostat to 90 when I was sick and chilled) or refund the meal that caused the food poisoning. The also had medicine at the front desk but no Imodium or pepto bismol or anything. That would help. I wanted to speak to someone at the hotel and gave them that opportunity (specifically asked them to reach out) before leaving this review but no one reached out. I wanted them to at least reassure me whether the kitchen staff were notified of the situation and made changes for other guests. Unfortunately, that didn’t happen so here is the review.
- 5/5

- 5/5
Love the hotel and the area
- 3/5
The topside restaurant was beautiful but the service was very slow. Bside didn't even open the door to let us in or tell us they were busy. Netflix did not work in the room. Phone in the room to call the desk was broken
- 5/5
Our room had a spectacular view of Mt. Vernon. It was spacious, beautiful, and very clean. We also loved the roof top restaurant (we went twice) and the coffee shop. nothing!
- 5/5
This hotel is a gem. The look of the site is elegant. The room was spacious and the staff courteous, friendly and welcoming. It is also in a great area of Baltimore.
- 2/5
I had to switch rooms twice because of inadequate standards. The first room had a missing body wash dispenser, missing hand soap, and a bottle of hand lotion that had been used by a previous guest. The second room had a leaking shampoo dispenser that had congealed and accumulated onto the rim of the bath tub. The front desk attendant was accommodating by giving a $40 credit, and he personally checked the final room to make sure it was properly prepared.

- 5/5
Friendly, informative staff. Our TV wasn’t working but they sent someone to troubleshoot right away, and the problem was solved.
- 5/5
The staff was very friendly right when we walked in the hotel and made us feel so welcome! They were also very helpful when looking for a place to watch a football game we wanted to see! The room was very clean and the frig had plenty of options for drinks if we wanted them and the location was very safe! There were lots of options for things to do in walking distance. Would definitely stay here again!
- 4/5
Great location in historic, walkable Mount Vernon. The hotel has stylish decor, the staff is friendly staff, and my room was quiet and comfortable. On a side note, the shower gel is really nice!
- 5/5
I had to leave before breakfast was served 5:30a My original room was fine when I went to the front desk to inquire about a spare toothbrush I was informed that my room had been upgraded. Surprise surprise!! That room was larger and also very nice and so much more comfortable.
- 4/5
Room was very clean and the staff were super friendly. And special thanks to Lorenzo for going over and beyond to assist me on arrival. I would give 5 stars if there were ice machine available as you have to call front desk for ice but nonetheless, great hotel and superb staff.
- 5/5
If you’re looking for a switch up form traditional hotel, one with character to it, this is it. Revival was “modern cozy” with easy access to the great Topside (top floor views) restaurant, and walking distance to the Walter’s Art museum (free!) highly recommend.
- 5/5

The staff and room were perfect!

All the above
- 5/5
In a sea of bland chain hotels, this property has charm and personality. The staff were friendly and provided excellent service. The rooftop restaurant was very special with great food and stellar food.
- 5/5
Service at the Topside restaurant is exceptional
- 4/5
Super cute hotel and great location for the Army-Navy game and convenient to the Convention Center. We loved the upgrade we received to a Monument King. B-side was a terrific lounge with very innovative cocktails. Delante made us a cocktail from the summer menu by request! However, we requested housekeeping via the front desk 2 mornings in a row and never received service at all during our 3-night stay. Not sure if it was a communication issue or if our request was outside of the service hours.
- 3/5
The room was nice and in good condition. Spacious and staff was friendly. I rated 4 stars because on two occasions the housekeeping didn’t empty our trashes, take our dirty towels or restock the mini fridge/snacks. They did make the bed and left fresh towels on the desk.
- 5/5
Our room was quite large and beautiful. The hotel is in a great location. I would stay here again.
- 4/5
Very loud heating system in the room and had to change rooms. Beds aren’t great. Hot water makes screeching noises. Only one side of the bed has plugs or charging capabilities. Kettle didn’t have an outlet so we had to move it to the bathroom to heat. Very cool decor and neighborhood is pretty quiet. Valet is expensive so we parked on the street with no problem. Hotel restaurant is very good. Coffee was good too. Hotel staff is helpful.
- 5/5
Great rooms! Nice staff! Good location!
- 5/5
Everything is perfect.
- 4/5
Very comfortable, cozy, woodsy, art deco hotel. Very pleasant staff and restaurants good quality. A couple recommendations… more and bigger bath towels especially since no robes. Hard to be 5 star without robes and big towels. No regular coffee in room only decaf; the extra blanket was like sand paper; we should have been told about speak easy. Our bathroom window was malfunctioning before we arrived and the heat was at 60. These should all be improved upon.
- 5/5
Friendly staff, comfortable room, cool location!
- 5/5
Great restaurant and bar as well as the room being very unique and comfortable. Shower was also amazing.
- 5/5
It's a wonderful, beautiful location on Mt Vernon! Reasonably priced and nicely appointed with Christmas decor. Very quiet and quaint. The Dashery offers fantastic breakfast food! And the Rooftop Bar has amazing veiws of Mt Vernon both daytime and at night! The staff is extremely friendly and courteous. We had a great Thanksgiving stay!
- 4/5
Customer service was amazing. The only recommendation I would have is to change the mattress, they were not the best.
- 5/5

- 5/5
A great weekend stay. The restaurant, speakeasy, room and view were amazing.
- 3/5
The room could use an update and was not clean
- 5/5
Always a great time! From checking in with the hospitable staff, to the stay in the room which is always unique and comfortable, to the location which is within walking distance or a less than 10 minute drive away. Love the ambiance, food, drinks, etc. Overall a great stay and my number one choice for hotels in Baltimore.
- 3/5
The hotel was fine if you could park anywhere. Two hr parking some longer if you want bird crap all over your car.
- 5/5
I loved the hotel. First of all, it is decorated in a very cool, funky way. The staff was very friendly. The rooftop restaurant was great for dinner. In the morning, the vibe at the coffee shop was very chill and the cappuccino was delicious. I will definitely return.
- 4/5
Dinner wasnt available that night. Valet and desk excellent.
- 5/5
This was our second time staying at this hotel…Loved it!! Beautiful property and rooms! Awesome staff!
- 3/5
We typically don’t stay in “boutique hotels” so take that for what it’s worth. Front desk was courteous though when we checked in a very nice valet parking attendant stood inside while we unloaded the car ourselves. Room was nice though TV didn’t work and the room safe was not functional. The in-room coffee was terrible and needed explanation how to use. Bathroom ok but for seniors, there was no grab bar and the toilets are low. Location was excellent for our stay however- very historic part of Baltimore. Speak easy on first floor was nice and cozy. Service at Topside Rooftop bar for drinks Friday night was lazy and inhospitable. Breakfast this morning the service and food was good.

Beautiful hotel with friendly and helpful staff in a lovely part of Baltimore.
- 5/5
Great hotel; room was spacious and quiet; bed was comfortable. Definitely will stay there again.
- 5/5
Kind staff, easy check in, room was ready even though I was early. Very cute decor and spacious lounge!
- 5/5
Clean room, but lots of visible wear on the furniture. I did travel with a pet, so that may be specific to pet-friendly rooms. The front desk staff made the trip great. Everyone was accommodating, helpful, and quick. I wasn't a fan of the dashery and found the Ceremony Coffee, a fast walk, to have delicious options with better value.

Went for my nieces wedding. We were able to check in early and Walter the Valet was incredibly friendly and professional. The room was clean. We are at Topside, rooftop dining in the hotel, which was just Ok. It was very noisy and I would not agree with a James Beard level cuisine as mentioned. Also, they closed the rooftop bar on a Saturday night for a private event so our wedding party couldn’t enjoy the bar and on Sunday night, the night of our wedding, they closed the bar at 9:00 just before our return to the hotel with a number of guests once again left with nothing. Very disappointing considering we occupied a good number of rooms

I stayed three nights, then one more night after a trip to New York City. I would have rated higher, but the details got in the way. Great location at Mt. Vernon Square; nice rooftop restaurant/bar and basement "speakeasy" with friendly staff. During the first three-night stay: room not cleaned after first night and this after having taken off the Do Not Disturb sign before leaving the room; the surprising difficulty of staff to locate washcloths; the unpleasant tasting coffee "teabags." On the second stay, only one night: a 14th-floor room clearly located beneath the hum of the rooftop HVAC equipment; and mysterious white flakes at the bottom of the complementary liter of "filtered water." Staff consistently responded to the issues. I just wish they didn't need to be put in that position in the first place.

The property is nice and I lived in the area previously and was excited for a staycation at this particular hotel. Staff is nice but not very helpful. Visited Topside for dinner. Arrived at the restaurant at 8:10PM, ordered our food and at 9PM, after a wait of over 30 minutes, the server approached me to tell me they ran out of chicken. I was honestly expecting her to approach to say the food would be out in a few mins and to offer a complimentary drink or something for the long wait. No she told me after being at the restaurant for an hour that they were out and asked me to choose something else. The menu is limited and it had already been over 30 mins closer to an hour of waiting for food that was never coming. Not only that the time of evening severely limited my other options.
- 5/5
Quick, easy, clean and quiet
- 4/5
The staff was very helpful and friendly. The rooms are updated but had a couple of issues. I could not adjust my thermostat and was shocked to find out they do not use any top sheets on the beds it a comforter only which is a little gross.
- 5/5
Great staff, clean rooms, and fantastic location!
- 5/5
Excellent hotel. Awesome customer service! Will stay again!
- 5/5
Had a short trip but excellent service and stay
- 4/5
Loved the vibes of the hotel. Bedding was super comfy. The Dashery had good selection for breakfast. Would have given 5 stars but I was falsely charged for a Snickers and a Red Bull I did not take from the room which is suspicious. I called to inquire about this and was told they will be refunded no argument.
- 5/5
Clean and friendly. Even with the Baltimore marathon going on right along this street the valet was easy and I could pull right up to the door. Walked to Lexington Market and down to the convention center. Would stay here again.
- 5/5
Super friendly staff, amazingly decorated/styled, very clean.
- 5/5
I'm generally not a fan of Baltimore but I LOVED this neighborhood. I'll be back!
- 5/5
I loved this hotel. Had all the amenities I wanted (hot shower, in-room fridge, safe, super comfy bed). Clean, unpretentious, friendly staff. Rooftop dining has a spectacular view. An all-around lovely experience. I can’t recommend it highly enough.
- 5/5
The restaurant at the rooftop and the coffee shop downstairs are fantastic. Highly recommended
- 5/5
This hotel is awesome!
- 4/5
Staff and cleanliness was great. 4 stars because the only option is valet parking. I drive an electric vehicle so my key is my phone. Probably would stay at a hotel with garage attached next time. Was fortunate to find street parking on the same night both nights. Still a very nice hotel and would stay again if I didn’t have a vehicle!
- 5/5
Great area. Looking forward to a longer visit next time.
- 5/5
Great staff and unique wonderful hotel. Wish we could have queen beds though
- 5/5
Exceptional property and staff.
- 5/5
Location was excellent and the corner room we got was beautiful
- 5/5
Gorgeous art deco interior throughout. Friendly, helpful staff. Plenty of options for food during the day. Complimentary water.
- 4/5
Uniquely styled rooms
- 5/5
Couch in room was pretty nasty. Stains and a nail coming out of side. Rug stains also. Need queen size beds size of room was great so could definitely use a bigger bed.
- 4/5
Lovely staff and hotel, very loud AC unit in my room.
- 5/5
Great find for Baltimore stays. Friendly service, spacious rooms, nice amenities, good location, and reasonably priced. Hard to beat.
- 5/5
Spent the night. Comfy and clean. High quality.
- 5/5
clean, great service.
- 5/5
One of my favorite hotels in Baltimore. Great service, beautiful rooms, convenient location, great rooftop restaurant. The only drawbacks are the boiling your own coffee in the room (used to be pour-over, just switch to Nespresso already if you want to be fancy) and that the cafe doesn’t open until 7am and the food is kind of fussy. But I love staying here!
- 5/5
Everything about it was great, from the customer service to the room quality. Shoutout to Cydney at the front desk.
- 5/5
Great stay! Clean rooms, friendly staff, and convenient location.
- 5/5
The room was beautiful. Lively furniture. Thoughtful and generous food and drink amenities. The rooftop restaurant and bar are great, as is the ground floor breakfast spot. The hotel is amazing. It is the best location in the city. The square around the monument feels like you are in a great European city. Mount Vernon is the best part of Baltimore and is better than almost anyplace in any city in the USA.
- 5/5
The hotel was very nice and the staff was excellent. We had a minor issue with our AC the 1st day, and it was fixed immediately. The Topside Restaurant was fantastic. We dined there twice during our stay. Our only criticism is there should have been advance notification about Valet parking of $49.00 per day.
- 5/5
From the valet to the front desk staff during check in and check out, everyone was fantastic. Love the decor and esthetic of Hotel Revival. We had dinner at Topside and it made the experience even better! I appreciate the kindness and customer service from all at Hotel Revival.
- 5/5
Great place!
- 5/5
Front desk agents were accommodating and friendly. Towanda was great! Valet was a little pricey at $50 a night but they were also very helpful and friendly. The room was clean and we loved the unique decor and cleanliness. The karaoke rooms, retro jukebox, atm on site and lovely seating areas were also wonderful additions to the property. The rooftop restaurant was fabulous and service and food were excellent! Highly recommend!!
- 2/5
Understaffed!
- 4/5
AC was not as cold when hotel was full with guests. Good location but a couple of blocks away surrounding areas seemed concerning. Gym was decent roof top restaurant very nice ambience, good food with amazing views. The breakfast cafe in the hotel is definitely up to par. Great staff. Parking 49 a day but street parking available I found street parking everyday and night. Drawback is the vehicle must be move by 9:00 to a different location as it’s only two hour parking until 7pm. I would stay again
- 4/5
With TV, shower and billing
- 4/5
The only thing I did not care for was the open shower. Too drafty. Everything else was great. Thanks.
- 4/5
This place was great. I will say the carpet in the room needs a steam cleaning but it is really cute, great staff, comfortable bed! I’d stay again for sure
- 5/5
Clean and nicely appointed. Nice cafe.

- 5/5
Unique design, beautiful rooftop restaurant with a breathtaking view, friendly staff, big room, wonderful stay.
- 5/5
Great view of park and monument
- 5/5
The service in this hotel is exceptional! It's a rare gem! I stayed here for several days to move my daughter into college. EVERYONE on EVERY shift was lovely and accommodating! The doormen, front reception, the housekeepers, the customer service folks at the cafe and the speakeasy bar. Quite literally, everyone! Bartender D was a highlight!! The room was comfortable and felt modern-enough while giving old, historic charm vibes. One of the elevators went down during our stay, and we received a text message so that we could plan accordingly. I will most certainly be back. Hotel Revival helped make an emotional time pleasant and much more palatable.
- 3/5
no USB connections in the rooms! some cleanliness issue with the provided towels!
- 5/5
The hotel had a nice boutique feel while still covering amenities and services of a larger chain. All of the staff was nice, attentive, and helpful. It was near the college that I visited and walkable. They also had a nice cafe serving breakfast.
- 5/5
beautiful!!
- 4/5
Attractive hotel and neighborhood, comfy bed, spacious room. Coffee and breakfast at the cafe downstairs were excellent and convenient. Valet was expensive but appreciated after a tiring drive.
- 5/5
Great Service
- 5/5
So cute and hip, so much space in the room. Lovely little fixtures, like a pour over coffee maker! Will absolutely stay again!
- 5/5
Impressive Mt Vernon area boutique retreat. Tucked on a quiet street but easy 20min walk to the Inner Harbor. Impressive architectural elements blend w fun decor- bed was so comfy, spacious room, darling bath with classic tile & spacious shower w killer toiletries. Felt a good value for the money...wish i wouldda had time to enjoy one of 4+ private karaoke rooms. So fun! Valet is $50 per night...street parking is available 2 hour limit 7am to 8pm "rarely enforced" per locals.
- 5/5
Absolutely wonderful. Will stay here again anytime we are in Baltimore. Room was clean, spacious, cute, and comfortable. Very dog friendly hotel. Topside restaurant and bar was wonderful. Speak easy was fun. Great cocktails. Stayed 2 nights 3 days in Baltimore to tour MICA art college with daughter for possible attendance.
- 5/5
Location is great and the staff were friendly. Parking is about $50 per night for valet service. Rooms are comfortable and nice in size.
- 2/5
We were attending an event in Baltimore. The room given was extremely small, dark, and had no natural light. We faced the back of the building. There was no area to get ready, such as put on makeup, blow dry, hair, etc. My husband and I left after one night, even though we had already paid for two nights. I have asked twice for an email receipt and have yet to receive one. They charged my card for the second night parking, even though we were not there. However, I did call and they reversed that charge. I don’t believe the hotel was fully booked, so I’m not sure why we got one of the smallest rooms. Also, I was aware that there would be a resort fee, but was unaware they also charge another $12 for an amenity fee. I have included the view of my very small window. When I booked this hotel, it shows a beautiful view of the other side of the building.
- 5/5
Desk staff terrific, as was server in restaurant.
- 5/5
Lovely boutique hotel with fantastic service from check-in to check out. Can’t wait to visit again on my next trip to Baltimore.
- 5/5
Excellent hotel.. sweet little gem!!
- 5/5
Wonderful stay!
- 1/5
Disappointed, whatever the revival was trying to revive they failed. Baltimore was trashy so I guess this was high class to them.
- 4/5
Clean hotel and friendly staff.
- 5/5
The decor and overall vibe of the hotel was 10/10. The room was clean and super cute, we were pleasantly surprised at how spacious it was. And staff was really friendly and responsive. The restaurant downstairs is solid for breakfast and the rooftop restaurant is chill but classy and has a view of the city that shouldn't be missed.
- 5/5
Lovely moonlit walk around historic Washington Square - a historic and beautiful part of Baltimore, just around the corner from the Walter’s’ Art Gallery
- 2/5
mins pass, still no car. Had to go back in again to ask. Finally it came and they brought us the wrong car! Another Jeep wrangler in same colour as ours. Nearly an hour later we were able to leave, thankfully with our correct car. Not a great experience I’m afraid. Communal areas looked nice.
- 5/5
Spacious room with style matching this historical building— without feeling old or stuffy. Great restaurant top floor and cafe downstairs. After lots of anonymous Marriotts, such a pleasure.
- 5/5
Extremely Clean & Comfortable stay. Very stylish.
- 5/5
First stay here and they made our girls trip complete ! Treated us like returning customers/family and for that , this will be our new go to hotel in Baltimore.
- 3/5
No available parking and $50 for valet is extremely expensive
- 5/5
The Hotel Revival is one of the best hotels in Charm City. The hotel is chic and hip and the rooms are clean, comfortable, and well-appointed. The hotel boasts a very cool rooftop bar and bistro, Topside (excellent cocktails!), and a fun coffee shop, Dashery, for your morning joe. Lastly, the staff are some of the friendliest, nicest, and most professional hospitality folks in the biz. You will not be disappointed if you stay at Revival!
- 5/5
All great
- 5/5
Clean rooms and easy check in
- 2/5
Such a bad experience. Our room had no soap in the shower, and the phone was not working to ask them. Out of the two elevators one did not work. Everyone had to wait 15 for every ride. The staff at the cafe dashery was not friendly. On checkout they charged the wrong amount that I am still trying to get refunded.
- 3/5
I appreciated the hotel location in proximity to our venue and the friendly staff. Some areas that could use improvement; house keeping, the room was rather dusty. The towels had stains and the shower stopped working the morning of checkout. It was about a 10 minute wait each time for an elevator and could only comfortably fit about 4 people. One elevator was out of service. Was it a terrible stay, no but this hotel wouldn’t be in my top 5.
- 5/5
Overall a great experience, I was greeted well , rooms are clean and very cutely decorated. I will be staying there again and highly recommend this place .
- 5/5
The property and the hotel was great.
- 4/5
Good but not great. Lots of amenities but the staff and the area are just meh
- 5/5
Speakeasy downstairs
- 5/5
The hotel has a great retro vibe and room was updated nicely
- 3/5
The hotel is really nice and the staff are also very pleasent folks. Internet went down and stayed down.
- 5/5
Great stay
- 3/5
I did not like that I was given a $15 credit voucher, after using the credit voucher for the snack bar that was offered in the room, I noticed that I was charged $30. Not only did I not receive the voucher after I was given it during check in, I was charged doubled for using the snack bar.
- 4/5
I like everything.
- 4/5
Parking on the street was not bad on the weekend. There were some small inconsistencies that they; could tweak. The internet access information was outdated. I was supposed to get a $15 food credit after charging breakfast to my room, as a VIP, but that did not show up on my final invoice. All minor things. Overall, I would stay at this property again.
- 5/5
Our first time at Hotel Revival, beautifully decorated hotel, with comfortable and creative pieces. Friendly staff. Highly recommend Dashery breakfast cafe on property, coffees and breakfast 5 stars. Topside rooftop restaurant was excellent. Our room remained a good temperature, quiet, relaxing with a comfortable bed. Highly recommend as a central location. We would stay again.
- 5/5
The staff was informative and friendly. Rooms are spacious and comfortable. The upstairs bar/restaurant had great ambiance and the bartender was lovely. Our view of the Washington monument was the cherry on top. Would definitely recommend and would stay again.
- 5/5
Old hotel renovated and turned into a beautiful place.
- 5/5
Very good hotel.
- 5/5
The Revival is the best - one of my favorite hotels anywhere. The rooms are spacious and comfortable. The hotel is beautiful, the area is great and the staff is lovely.
- 5/5
It was very conveniently located since we were in town to see a comedy show at The Lyric. So once we parked the car, we could walk around and be independent of the car!
- 5/5
I loved everything about this property .Tye hotel smelled so good and Every staff member was kind and helpful . Karaoke rooms are definitely a hit although I didn’t know we had to make reservations and ended up sitting in the hall for about 15 minutes with no help from staff member who told us he would come back and clean the empty one out but never returned. Everything else was perfect ! Would stay here again anytime !
- 4/5
It was very charming.
- 5/5
This is one of the best hotel stays I have ever had and I stay in hotels an average of 3 times a month. The staff. The service. The property. All of it was amazing. Truly. I was so warmly welcomed and treated with such kindness and generosity. Our room was gorgeous. Everything about this stay was perfection.
- 5/5
I only stayed one night, so impressions are fleeting but from what I remember the Revival Hotel is beautiful, staff were friendly and helpful.
- 5/5
Beautiful Art Deco Hotel, super clean, beautiful interiors, room was AMAZING! We will definitely be back!!
- 2/5
Outside, there was no communication, direction, or guest accountability from staff. When I raised my concerns afterward, I was told “it was an inconvenience for everyone.” That response was dismissive and dangerous. If you have accessibility needs, I strongly advise against staying here. Safety is not a priority.
- 5/5
This was an elegant hotel. Glass glasses, bone China tea cups, spacious room that was sparklingly clean. Cocktails, drinks and snack were available for purchase right in the room. A lovely coffee and tea station right in the room. Reasonably priced valet parking. Friendly and welcoming staff. Everything you need in one place - breakfast at the Dashery (delicious), dinner at The Topside (what a view and also delicious), cocktails in the hidden Speakeasy micro bar in the evening. You literally want for nothing and if you do I bet they would get it for you! I would stay nowhere else! This is the best hotel I have ever stayed in.
- 5/5
Excellent all around
- 5/5
cool decor, terrific staff and great location. my room was quiet, incredibly comfortable, and had an amazing view. The price was so reasonable for a hotel like this. All restaurants on site were great. Nothing but good things to say about this hotel.

Very comfortable and cute!
- 5/5
The lady at the fringe desk was very friendly, welcoming and efficient.
- 5/5
The staff went above and beyond to make sure we were taken care of from the moment we arrived through our departure.
- 5/5
Great location and lovely room!
- 3/5
Everything went ok until we went to bed. No top sheet just comforter also the volume on the TV would go to 0 to 60 or 60 to 0 and you could not stop it. Also bedframe has very Sharpe obtrusive corners.
- 4/5
Everything was great. Really cute hotel. Our room only had a little bit of body wash & when we ran out & called the lobby they said they didn’t have anyone to bring us more. I will say it was late at night but an inconvenience nonetheless. However we did get compensated in the morning with breakfast on them.
- 5/5
Great stay for a recent business trip
- 5/5
We were visiting our son at Peabody Conservatory and love staying here because it’s in walking distance.
- 5/5
This was my second visit to the property. The location is perfect in the heart of Mt. Vernon with plenty of restaurant and shopping choices. The rooftop bar and restaurant is excellent from the views, cocktail offerings and food. Rooms are comfortable and clean with robes which is always a plus for me.
- 5/5
Great stay.
- 4/5
Overall pleasant stay at the Hotel Revival for a family vacation. Plenty of space in the room for 2 adults and 1 child. Hotel is quirky and historical, with a nice view of the Washington Monument and walkable to downtown, Mt. Vernon restaurants, and Camden Yards. Receptionist recommended driver "Suki" who we relied on for farther journeys and he was very friendly and reasonably priced.
