Best Western Plus Executive Residency Baytown

Elevator not working and I was on the 4th floor plus stairs super dirty first night someone kept knocking on my door like 3 times at night and staff didnt see nothing on camaras according to them☹️and now im home super tired instead of rested my legs are so tired

We were very uncomfortable so we leave the pool.

There was initially an issue with our reservation. I'm not sure if it was because of expedia or the hotels system. However, the staff was incredibly helpful, understanding, and accommodating to this error. Shoutout to Amy! She helped resolve this issue with ease!

Honestly we book hotels very often and this stay is now on our #1 spot, we booked a suite and a king bed room. Breakfast is amazing many options and the rooms were clean. I want to point out how amazing the staff is here and they made a huge difference on our stay here! The young man helped us feel comfortable and offered exceptional service we had booked next door and lost our rooms and he helped us find a room very last minute :)! All the staff was overall great! We hope to stay here again next time we are in town!

My stay here was amazing. It was my daughter‘s fifth birthday and she was able to use the pool to ride her motorcycle and enjoy the facilities. They are great with kids and families and are very accommodating.

Meh: Lobby light bulb temperature is way too cool—felt like a hospital. Reno’s left little signs of mess everywhere. Elevator had paint on the threshold, bathroom had gummy material stuck to floor, shower showed signs of construction mess. Overall, considering the good price, I would stay here again. It was a good experience. Just change those lightbulbs to something warm and inviting. 4/5 stars.

Awesome Front Desk lady, super clean and spacious room, excellent thermostat, very quiet, extremely comfortable bed and a TV remote control that I could actually operate!

Room was the right size for our one night stay.

The smoke detector on the ceiling flashed a green light all night long right over the bed. Breakfast was questionable. The kitchen and the mop bucket room, were the same. The hotel smelled a bit like curry. On the bright side the beds were comfortable:)

Betty at the desk was pleasant. Hotel is welcoming and smelled good. Neat and nicely arranged. The room has visible upgrades and comfy beds. Tub and shower were dated and a little messy, but overall a good room.

The service and stay was great. The only issue we had was the room had a weird faint smell, though it could of be the cleaning supplies that are used. It went away after the first day. Other than that, we had a good stay and will stay again if need be.

The TV Didn't work so they moved us to another room. Didn't expect that. Room was comfortable.

Everything was great except for the front desk. We weren't asked what level we would like when I came back to get a cart not even a min later I was hearing front desk offering the next person in line what level they won't like and what amenities were in each level. I'd like for everyone to be treated equally. Very important to communicate this to your staff

The room was clean and the bed was excellent. However the door to the room needs repair and has to be slammed to close it (very noisy). Also the shower head needs to be replaced. It barely sprays and doesn’t adjust to different spray patterns. I also noticed that many of the floor tiles in the elevator were broken and loose.

I didn’t like that the refrigerator or air didn’t work well

There was a bit of a musty odor, but the hotel was fabulous all the way around. Great breakfast!

Doordash DOES deliver here! There's an entire kitchenette, including stove. Bed is amazing and clean. Bathrooms are also top notch. I will always book here.

Overall, it was a great stay. The breakfast was wonderful and filling. If I had a problem they came to fix it immediately. My only thing is bed sheets. You could easily spot a stain and it made my body itchy at times.

The front desk lady didn’t have the best attitude. Other than that, the room was clean, the breakfast was good, they had biscuits and gravy, hash browns sausage and bacon. For one night just to sleep it was bot bad.

Nice for the price

Absolutely Wonderful customer Service. We were there for two Days/Nights (May 12/13). The Staff there was polite, courteous, and friendly. It was very surprising to us in this current climate of rudeness in America! Also, the free Breakfast was better than some restaurant chains I’ve patronized. My Granddaughter loved it. “Great!”

I was not happy with my room.110,there was no hot water in the bathroom. there was holes in the walls. for 222.00 .a night there ,I was not happy. I stay there sat, April 23 and left there sun April 24.

This was my first time in Baytown and wasn’t sure where to stay. I’m so glad I chose Beat Western Plus. The staff was friendly from beginning to end. Complimentary breakfast there were lots of choices, the room was very clean and the housekeeping staff were great. The only complaint I would have is the pillows were super soft. Im used to a firm pillow. I just used several pillows and was fine. I will definitely be staying here again when I come back next year ❤️

I booked through a third party, and the room was incorrect. I tried to speak with the receptionist, and she told me that she could not assist me. That there was nothing she could do. She was very quick to say this, and not to mention when we walked in she was on her headset, talking on the phone, it was a personal call. I thought that was kind of rude.Get to the room there's a big chip on the tub. Two stains on the floor that will not come out. Most of the outlets did not work. And the room was very dark. Even with the lamps turned on it still had this dark feel. I was disappointed because I'm used to Marriotts. But I was giving Best Western a try, with the intent to have the living room section as well as the dining area. Since we did not have those amenities, I settled for the standard room. The pillows we're very uncomfortable. There was only two pillows to a bed. So if two people are in one bed they only have one pillow per person. All in all, I would not try Best Western again.

1. The air freshener in the room was strong and I had a severe reaction. 2. No Kleenex so I used toilet paper (no big deal just odd)

Overall we had a pleasant stay. Our bathroom had very low water pressure in room 413 and the TV remote batteries went out. The front desk replaced batteries and my husband was good from then on.

The bed is so high off the ground, my 87 year old mother had to be lifted onto it. Trim is coming off the shower door and the shower really needs a non-slip mat. This is NOT a quiet hotel. There was noise from the hallway and other rooms all night long - sounded like furniture being moved, there was a lot of loud music, and there was a lot of yelling.

The night Hostess Erica was phenomenal. Helped me add an app on my phone so we could order inn. Very pleasant and knowledgeable. She was welcoming. a good feeling after having driven in crazy traffic for 7 hours.

No pillows & when we asked they said we couldn’t get any til 10pm. And only had 2 towels in the room.

Comfortable & convenient to visit family. Good coffee & ample breakfast items. Common areas could have been cleaner (elevators & hallways) but it was a holiday & they may have been short staffed. Art work in hallways was hanging at very high location, not at typical eye level. Overall good accommodations & would use again.

As soon as I walked in to the hotel and my room I smelled weird scent. After finding three cockroaches, I realized that smell reminded me of spray for bugs. The receptionist stated they never had complains about bugs and offered another room. The minute I turned on the lights in my new room, the big cockroach was trying get out of the kitchen sink. I don't believe no one else besides me never saw any bugs there if I found them in both rooms. Looks like the management teaches their employees to lie to their clients instead of providing great customer service. I demanded the refund right away from the receptionist, I could not stay another minute in that place. I don't recommend to stay in the hotel where lying to your face is more important than admitting they have a problem with something.

The door had a gap in it where you can see in the room. Plus it was food left in freeze from prior guess. Opened the refrigerator an had the whole room smelling bad. They moved me which was a inconvenience since I had already unpacked. Won’t be staying there again

ROACHES, FILTHY ROOMS, ROACHES… I booked this hotel during Hurricane Ida for evacuation purposes. Upon reading reviews I thought I’d give it a chance. First off they ask a 100$ incidental deposit which I wasn’t aware of. Totally inconvenient! Second upon checking in and getting to my room, there was a horrible stench on the elevator and upon entering the floor where my room was housed! It smelled horrible like raw food, EGGS to be exact. Finally get into the room and it was clearly not cleaned, sanitized or disinfected from the floors being sticky to the dining/ kitchen area showing where something was sprayed all over and never wiped! Then I proceeded to cook food for my family & there was no utensils, I had to go bother the uninterested front desk agent to retrieve cooking items from a storage room where cleaning carts where also housed then when asked why aren’t they in the rooms, I was told it was due to COVID but the dishes were within a foot of the housekeepers cleaning carts! After cleaning the room myself before continuing to cook, I noticeda black spec on the wall in the living area of the room but thought it was paint or something disappointingly as I’m wrapping up cooking, the black spec moved and was confirmed to be a roach, and not just one roach I found at least a handful throughout my night I could barely sleep! Then to top it all off upon check out I see cops surrounded the property due to overnight car burglaries!!!!!!! Fortunately

This is our favorite place to stay when we’re coming back o Houston, it’s close to family in Anahuac and centrally located around everything…and being next to Buc Ees is a plus.

Conveniently located on our way to New Orleans after driving for few hrs. Easy check in, friendly staff, decent breakfast ( included) Only con the smell in the room. I brought my own ambientador to spray the room because I couldn’t stand the smell. Not sure if is the fragrance they use or something else but very unpleasant for my taste.

Hotel has a $100 incidentals deposit policy. That was higher than the room rate. First room smelled of smoke, had burns in the carpet, and the phone was clicking through the speakerphone. Was given a second room which was fine.

We has a full breakfast (as opposed to a brown bag with fruit, a mini muffin and breakfast taco from at another Best Western). So, if you are looking for a full breakfast make sure to ask as hotels.com does not state which hotels are serving/not serving a breakfast. Overall, no complaints.

There were roaches. The room was humid no matter if the a/c was on. There was pubic hair on one of the beds. There was old blood on the sheets. The floors were not swept or mopped. We wiped down everything with wipes and they were brown. So room not clean at all. Refrigerator did not keep anything cold. The elevators were disgusting. Looked like they had not been cleaned in weeks. The grills outside were gross. Could not cook on them.

Its very clean and the amenities were excellent. Breakfast was fresh and hot. I love the kitchen in the room with its own sink. My kids love the pool! It was a food stay!

Beautiful hotel! The lobby area could have used a little tiddying up, however every place is dealing with staff shortages these days so I understand when one employee has to wear a million hats now to cover for the staff that is no longer there. My kids enjoyed the pool very much and the breakfast was very good.

The room, hotel, & breakfast was great! Clean, nice, & friendly service. Felt safe in the neighborhood. The only thing is when I searched for a hotel in Houston (I am not familiar with Houston) this hotel came up. But this hotel is an hour away from everything we went to. If you are going to just stay in Baytown this is great for you. But if you are planning on going towards Houston more. Just know everything will be an hour away. Next time I go to Houston, even though I really liked this hotel, I would not stay again.

A very nice stay

I have stayed before. It might be a bit expensive but it is well worth money. Rooms are clean the breakfast is amazing. The gym is a little lacking but better than most hotel gyms.
