Hot tub great after a day of travel

Front desk reception. Very pleasant, pretty young women. Even offered us an upgraded room. Bed was so very comfortable. Will stay again next week on our return trip home. The smell of fresh paint. Can't be helped during a remodel.

The hotel was clean and the rooms were good. Breakfast was better than expected. My only issue was the wifi - it was not sufficient to stream via the provided channels on the television nor was I able to work, which caused me to check out early to find a place where I could connect.

Everyone was extremely helpful and everything at and stores/restaurants around Fairfield Inn was convenient.

Booked because it had a hot tub. Got all checked in, unloaded all the things from our motorcycle to our room. After all that, come to find out, hot tub isn’t working! At that point it was too much work to pack bike back up and find a different place! It’s the end of a riding day and we were beat! Disappointed!! That should be listed when booking!

In the room the refrigerator still had a drink in it. There was a used towel and a deodorant cap under the sink. A pair of socks left in the closet. There was no ice bucket or cups in the room so I had to go to the front desk to get them.

My wife and I stayed here for a country music festival at McLean county fairgrounds and it was a very convenient walk and Walmart is close too! Room and lobby recently updated. Great continental breakfast that changed slightly each day and friendly front desk staff We stayed in a king room and only had 2 towels. Usually there’s 4. We requested housekeeping for the duration of our five nights at time of check in and didn’t receive housekeeping one time while there.

Was a quick stay as we were traveling back home, but if needed, would def stay here again. The hotel was very clean and room was very spacious, big TV, comfy bed, and a huge bathroom. Everything looks brand new! I was impressed! Breakfast was well stocked in the morning. Would recommend.

The hotel is Newley remodeled and updated and very nice. The breakfast was great. Only complaints are the shower water did not get hot and the hot tub was broken.

Hotels . Com never mentioned the fact that the hotel was under renovation. There is nothing here no breakfast no pool nothing. I’m really disappointed with you. At this point I’m thinking about using a different service.

Property was in middle of renovations and whole first floor was a construction zone. Gym, pool and breakfast was provide across the street but with the temperature at 25 degrees with a wind chill of 5 degrees going to the other property was a pain. Our room on the second floor was nice. If it would have been noted that property was under construction I may have selected a different property that didn’t inconvenience my family. That being said, once construction is completed we will stay at the property on our future trips.

Overall very good only down side certain areas closed because of doing renevations at hotel.

First time staying at a Fairfield hotel not very impressed the bed was very comfortable and the front clerk was great.

While the property is well located for my use.... the pool not being open for my grandkids, the mold in the shower, the lack of any maid service was why we left. The front desk people were great, but that is truly the only nice thing I have to say

What could be fixed.. Window air units made a rattling noise. One bed cover in one room had stains. One tub had large notible stains.

I’m not sure how this hotel had “excellent” reviews on Travelocity. Only stayed here one night and that was enough. This place was not up to par. The room was dirty! Carpet dirty, spider webs and bugs in the corners, stains in the refrigerator, mold in the bathroom grout, dirty shower curtain. The pool, filthy and worn. Cracked tile and rust everywhere. Debris and BIG dead spiders in the pool. My kids were dying to get in the pool, my husband scooped some of the spiders out and they were STILL ALIVE! That’s when we noticed the pool room was infested with these large spiders. We immediately left. No thanks!

It's a very quiet hotel, super convenient, right off I-55. Would definitely stay there again. Breakfast nicely done with many healthy options and good, strong coffee.

Shower had dispensers for shampoo, conditioner and body wash, however, my shower had two shampoos and a conditioner. No body wash, and both shampoos were empty. As I left the hotel in the morning, I notified the front desk about the soap situation, and gave them my room number. When I returned that night, I found that nothing had changed. I located a house keeper and had them replace the soap dispensers with the correct ones.

Clean room, comfortable bed. Lobby was nicely decorated. Pillows were terrible: flat, no shape, uncomfortable. Shower was fair, towels were good. We'd stay here again though but bring our own pillows

The staff was very friendly and helpful. The sheets had small stains on them. Heating system smelled when turned on the hot tub was out of order. The fitness center was disgusting there was garbage left in the room.

The hotel was reserved for only one night as a stop before returning home. The hotel was good. My only concern was the mildew smell in the bathroom.

No cable tv, no towels in the pool area, phone not working in room, hot food for breakfast was not replenished in a timely manner.

No pillow or sheets for the foldout bed. My son went down and asked and was told there were none. My husband had to go down and explain there were none, and the room wasn't very clean. He was told they were full no other available rooms, but she pulled a kit from what she said was a non functional room. The mattresses were uncomfortable, there was gross unknown goo on the walls and nightstand. There were blood spots on the duvet. Next morning, second chance brought it up with the front desk, she was rude and said we should have brought it up last night. Smh, we had. So, non helpful management, unclean rooms, no comment on breakfast as we decided we would obviously not be eating there.

The location works well for us, We stayed here in the past and selected it again. The rooms are nice. The breakfast was nothing to get excited about. Since Covid, we have notice Marriott, across the country has scaled back on their breakfast. I was disappointed in the Hotels.com experience. I booked the room for two nights, since we did not know scheduling for which night we would need it. Once this was determined in June, I went online to cancel one of the two nights, Hotels.com effectively cancelled both nights, then charged me higher rate for the 1 night. We have more nights that this may be the situation, so I probably will not use Hotels.com to book future stays.

My bathroom had an old musty towel on the back of the door, and shaved hair in the bathtub. The entire second floor wreaked of weed even though it was a no smoking facility. There were raisins or grapes smashed into the carpet on the floor. We received calls from the front desk asking about door dash orders when we never ordered door dash.

Very nice hotel. The beds were comfortable and the room clean. The staff was delightful. There was a problem with the pool when we arrived but the hot tub was open. Someone attempted to fix the pool but apparently left the water running. When we later came in to use the hot tub, the entire pool room was flooded! That problem was fixed and all was good.

The front desk staff was friendly, and the check in process was smooth. The lobby area was well appointed & clean. Unfortunately the room was musty, bedding has stains and there were ants crawling on the desk as I worked from my room. Breakfast was mediocre with oatmeal, cereal, eggs and dried out sausage. The hot tub was broken, and the 2 treadmills in the fitness center did not work properly. There are plenty of hotels at the same price point a couple of miles away that I would prefer over this one.

The room was dirty when we checked in the phone was unplugged, there were 2 red caps in the floor that were off of those little booze bottles. The bathroom counter had so much dust on it it was ridiculous, the shower head leaked so bad that you got a shower before you even got into the shower, the bathroom door stuck so bad that you almost couldnt get out after your shower!!! The dresser drawers opened by themselves!!! Not just once but multiple times during the stay!! The breakfast was a joke, the scrambled eggs tasted like powdered eggs & the turkey sausage tasted like it had been there since last week!! We threw it away & went to Bob Evans. I paid almost alot for that crappy room & breakfast!! You know you can buy SAUSAGE GRAVY IN A CAN & BISCUITS THAT ARE ALREADY BAKED!! All you have to do is warm both in a microwave!! Sure would of been a better breakfast, as for the rest of the problems...good luck...I will not recommend this place to anyone!!!

I was shocked there was no cable tv…..3 channels is ridiculous in a hotel…..there was dog hair on the chair in my room and you could hear traffic all night. Won’t be back. Crazy that there was cable in the seating area where breakfast was served. It would be nice to watch something when going to bed or getting ready in the morning.

The hotel was nice and in a quiet area. The lobby was updated. The continental breakfast options were good.as well. The room was clean but the bathroom could have used more cleaning.

Overall, a very nice hotel. Spacious rooms, very nice pool and hot tub. The breakfast was pretty good too. Nice little business center with computers and printers. The surface cleaning in the rooms were fine. However, there was probably an inch of dust or more on all surfaces from the bed posts to the TV. But, that is what it is. I can’t complain otherwise.

We chose this hotel for the free breakfast and pool/hot tub. The breakfast was decent! but the hot tub/pool chemicals seemed out of whack. We didn't stay in for very long because the water seemed really chemically and made us cough. The room was adequate, comfortable beds. Very friendly staff. They helped us move rooms when our air conditioner wasn't working.

TV too complicated to work

Staff and service great! Beds are the worst. They need to be replaced and they creak whenever yiu roll over. Air conditioner rattled and walls paper thin. This hotel needs some work, but the staff is super nice!

Our room was fine until the morning when we went to shower. In today's health environment a moldy shower curtain is completely unexceptable. I brought this to the attention of the Sunday manager and was told he would authorize a 50% refund of our room cost. I will anticipate this coming directly from you as we were told.

We booked our reservation for this property online and were traveling with another couple from Mn. When we arrived to check in, qe were told that the hotel over booked and was splitting our group up at two different hotels. Very disappointing that there was no advance warning.

We were surprised that the first room (2 queen beds) we were assigned obviously had not been cleaned. It took awhile while my husband waited with a cart full of luggage but we were assigned to a clean room. The entryway in both rooms was equally narrow, almost too narrow to enter with a cart. There is a great Mexican restaurant within easy walking distance across the street. The hot breakfast at the hotel was good and we would consider staying again. Other than the check-in process, the stay was acceptable. The bed was comfortable but the rooms and bathrooms are pretty tight given that the price is more in line with other hotels we've stayed in that have larger 2-queen-bed rooms. The location is convenient with the freeway nearby but yet the hotel is quiet.

My stay here was extremely comfortable. The breakfast was excellent. It was especially important to me how clean everything was.
