Reviews
The hotel received mixed reviews, with guests praising the large rooms, friendly staff, and quiet, safe environment. However, many guests expressed dissatisfaction with the cleanliness of the rooms, the quality of breakfast, and the lack of flexibility with check-in and check-out times.

It doesn't look like much from the outside, but my room was immaculately clean & very comfortable. I was arriving later than intended & the clerk I spoke to on the phone assured me it was fine and walked me through the check in process. The night clerk was as sweet as could be & helped me with the luggage cart when I was struggling to get it back to it's base. Slept through breakfast, but saw there was a cereal bar & a waffle maker. The vending area also has laundry facilities.
- 5/5
Staff is friendly and courteous. Looking forward to staying there again.
- 2/5
It was close to the dog show. The entire property was under constructions. It was filthy and not clean at all. Our bathroom was dirty. It would have been nice to know that the construction was going on.

Breakfast was satisfactory. . All we needed was a quick overnight stop on our travels, and it provided that. Bathtub dried all night, no drain cover. Bed was pretty soft for our liking.

Would not have booked here, had I known the property was under renovation. Holes in the wall in the room, tv would not work.

Rooms were very small. Breakfast was pretty much gone at 7:30.

It was great over all. Just wish it had blackout curtains.
- 5/5
Nice reasonably priced hotel. Staff was friendly, bed was comfortable and it was quiet. I would recommend and stay here again
- 1.5/5
The room we first got was already occupied. We ended up walking in on a Guest. Was not ok.

Very friendly

The staff was very accommodating. They were upgrading the property and put us in a room away from construction. A requested a fan for our room and they were able to get me one. Most hotels can’t, so it was appreciated. Location was close to everything. All was good
- 4.5/5
What a great room for the price. Everything was clean with plenty of towels and a free breakfast. They are in the middle of renovation but it was quiet and clean. You can’t beat this place at under $100 a night. Add a microwave in the breakfast area.

Todo bien
- 4/5
Basic accommodation. If you are ok with not a lot of frills, this hotel fits the bill.
- 4/5
It was average
- 4/5
Room freshly remodeled. Breakfast good. Quiet and safe. Curtains needed to be blackout is only suggestion.
- 4/5
Room was completely new and remodeled. So much that the TV was brand new and not connected to cable. Not a mojor thing but worth mentioning. Brand new paint, fixtures, and furniture. Breakfast ready well before scheduled time. Waffles, eggs, and pastries. Great location.
- 3/5
The room was adequate is about the only thing i can say. Nice price, nothing fancy
- 5/5
Great value for the money. Probably the best, low cost, hotels I have ever stayed in. Don't get me wrong, this is not the Plaza, but for the price i would definitely stay here again. Solid breakfast options and very quiet location. Convenient to the interstate and food options.
- 4/5
Breakfast was ok. Pretty picked over when we went towards end of breakfast time.
- 5/5
Room was clean. We were on our way to Florida and stayed the night. The breakfast was fresh an good.
- 3/5
there was a slight issue with the clerk giving me the wrong room and that was straighten out . Perhaps the problem was I had booked it through a third party provider
- 1/5
I've stayed in better hotels in third world countries. I was shocked by the conditions- please don't stay here.
- 2/5
Bedskirt in room had blood on it. Bathtub had Sheetrock dust on edge. They are in process of remodeling we were told. Smoke detector was hanging off of the ceiling. Won’t stay there again. Person at front desk was very nice, however!
- 4/5
The heater worked well but made a grinding sound after a few hours of operating. The bed was comfortable. I liked opening the window before it got too cold. Fortunately, it wasn't so cold that I needed the heat overnight. The room was small but very clean. Two people might feel crowded. The shower had great water pressure, and I didn't need to wait a while for the hot water to work (at night and in the morning).
- 3/5
Being on the 3rd floor the parking lot ligjts shone directly into the room, yet no blackout curtains were provided.
- 4/5
Yes
- 5/5
The lady that checked us in on Feb 12 made me feel so welcomed! The area is full of hotels and is safe. The lobby was inviting, the room was modern and clean with NO CARPET! Carpet holds things I don’t want to take with me from others. The towels were fluffy and soft, They have a state of the art water filtration system that gives cold clean water. Then to top it off, waffles for breakfast! I will definitely stay here again.
- 3/5
room was clean but looked like it was in the middle of a remodel. refrigerator was in the window on the ledge. no pictures curtains hung crooked. walked into a cold room and no extra blanket had to use bedspread
- 1/5
Room smelled like smoke. The mattress was dirty but they did refund my stay when I decided not to stay.
- 3/5
But our room needed some work! There was a refridgerator sitting in front of the sole window, and the walls needed patching and paint. So it was kind of a mixed bag for us.
- 5/5
Nice staff and very convenient location
- 3/5
Front desk night shift was very friendly.
- 4/5
Yes. Clean room and staff was courteous.
- 5/5
Clean rooms and quiet neighborhood.

- 5/5
Good property, clean rooms, easy and safe parking.
- 5/5
room was spotless!!
- 5/5
Parking was easy with neighboring businesses to eat and dine with
- 1/5
Old, dirty, smells, nasty.
- 4/5
I didn’t catch reception lady’s name. But it was a theee o’clock check in. She was friendly and helpful. I would have like to seen a little of decor in rooms. Was very ghetto feeling. But was clean and great staff. So made it a pleasant stay overall
- 4/5
The staff was friendly and helpful. The only area for improvement is a more comfortable bed.
- 1/5
I believe since I booked through this app, they put me in a smallest crappy unfinished room
- 4/5
Clean room. Hotel is currently under remodel, so take this into account as they work until 8pm, and are working again at 7:30am.
- 4/5
The room was clean. The shower spilled out on the bathroom floor significantly enough I needed to clean up. Even ran into the entrance to the room. All in all it was fine for the price.
- 2/5
Parking was easy! Hotel was decent! My only problem was bo one said it was going to be a extra 100 dollars ro check in when i paid fully on line before my stay! They even told me it was a hundred dollar deposit but they wouldn't take anything off my card! That was a lie! I left over 24 hours ago and i still don't have my supposedly deposit put back on my card!
- 1/5
Absolutely disgusting. Room was clearly never cleaned or maintained. Nightstand had sticky grime all over it, bed sheets were stained, mold in the shower, constant dripping / leaking shower, and live bugs crawling everywhere. This place was a complete dump. Had to check in at the Hampton next door at midnight for $222. Will be trying to get my money back and my stay at the Hampton covered. Place was absolutely disgusting and would not recommend it to anyone under any circumstances.

- 4/5
Clean room. Nice and quiet. Breakfast was good, with more variety than I expected. Nice and affordable for our overnight stay.
- 4/5
The room must be near a building heating unit, there were loud noises intermittently through the night. The beds and pillows were comfy and breakfast was nice with good variety.
- 2/5
Dirty hotel, poor food for breakfast and was double charged for room
- 3/5
The service was good, friendly and helpful. Unfortunately our room had a strong pet odor that was unpleasant.
- 4/5
Nice place
- 3/5
room was clean as was motel, my biggest problem was the TV did not work, needed to be programed, which was not possible. I am going to start giving negative reviews for all these Motels / Hotels that don't have working TVS. This is bs that they have some weird system that doesn't work,
- 3/5
I was there over Homecoming weekend. The rooms do not look like the pictures, its a clean for the most part Hotel. The shower curtain had mold growing on it which I did not notice till the last moring. For the money you get what you expect. I did not eat breakfast, appeared to be scrambled eggs, breads, cereal and juice. The night staff however was excellent very friendly!
- 1/5
Felt like a dorm room. No headboards. No decor on walls. Dirty sheets. Dirt on walls.
- 3/5
Pet friendly
- 4/5
Breakfast could have more options but the front desk staff was A1 love the vibe and welcoming she needs a raise
- 4/5
Geri was wonderful!!!
- 3/5
Bed was very soft - thankfully it was only me in it. Otherwise, 2 people would have been rolling into one another. Breakfast was average.
- 4/5
Room was spacious and comfortable . The gathering spot in lobby was very welcoming and homey looking.
- 1/5
We checked in and checked out a minute later. It was not nice. The room was very small. The bed barely fit in room. Hotel very old and not up to date . Do not recommend
- 1/5
There were no towels in the room. There were big spiders in the window. The toilet was too close to the oversized vanity. The bathroom was unpainted. The TV was difficult to operate. The TV remote needed new batteries.
- 3/5
Pet friendly, but not so nice inside. Looks badly remodeled and not completely done with remodeling in some areas. Free continental breakfast was bad, didn’t eat anything. Probably would not go back again.
- 3/5
Outside alittle run down and bed not comfortable and not queen-sized clean on inside
- 1/5
I should note that there appears to be no Wyndham involved here, as the building has "Ramada Limited" on it. The online pic they show is NOTHING like the real building. It was obvious the building was under some sort of upgrade, but this is no way to run a business! Upon arriving, the front entrance was completely blocked off with caution tape, and unusable. There was a note stating to come to one of the side doors if you have a key card, or to call the desk at the number listed. Upon calling the number 3 x, there was no answer. I walked around the building and every door was locked with the same note. To arrive at a place like this after a long day of travel is inexcusable. It took 2 hours to get another hotel because there was some sort of ag convention in town. When Expedia called them, they initially refused to refund the first night. The entire vibe from my arrival on was I was in some kind of a Stephen King movie. Stay as far away as you can!
- 1/5
Ad said pool. No pool. Shower did not work. The room was not clean. Never stay there.
- 4/5
Small rooms, but they use the space efficiently. We've stayed in their smallest (size of a small bedroom) and next smallest rooms, and both are a little smaller than the typical budget motel room. The facility is well-maintained, though, and a good value for a night's stay, as long as tight quarters aren't a problem.
- 2/5
The walls in the room are not to clean and need ro be painted. The breakfast was ok.
- 5/5
We needed a room for a quick stop on our trip. We were there for less than 8 hours. The staff at check-in was so very sweet. The room was simple - no frills whatsoever - but it was clean! The hotel is just off the interstate which made it very convenient. Low price. Convenient location. Nice staff. Clean.
- 3/5
Not like photos. Very small rooms. Good price though.
- 3/5
Room was NOT AT ALL as pictured on site. We rent what was said a suite. NO couch, just 2 queen beds and a couple desk chairs. Chewed gum was in the sheets. Light switched were wired all over the place.
- 5/5
It was reasonable and convenient. Rooms little small but nice
- 1/5
Rooms didn’t look like photos , no pool, no head boards, looked like a jail cell. I checked in and left , didn’t even bother asking for a refund
- 1/5
It was just horrible all around
- 4/5
We spent the night on a trip. The bed was comfortable. The room was clean. Check in and check out was easy.
- 5/5
Very clean. Room and bed are comfy. The lady on the reception is friendly and helpful. There were candles on the reception but it wasn't creepy like someone else mentioned in the reviews. Nreakfast is decemt and they kept replenishing. Overall, our stay was enjoyable and I would recommend it.
- 4/5
Minus: The room had very bad lighting—adding some bedside lamps as an alternative to the glaring overhead lamps would be helpful. The shower had very little hot water.
- 2/5
They ran out of ice. It stated they had a pool but no pool when I arrived. Also my room had blood on the light fixtures.
- 2/5
Only 1 chair. Tight room. Coffee and breakfast terrible.
- 5/5
Late night last minute reservation for a clean place to lay our heads, so we were looking for inexpensive. Cleanliness and quality exceeded expectations for the price!
- 4/5
For paying under $100, I had no complaints. Sure it wasn’t the Four Seasons, but there are way worse places you can stay for so cheap. Room was nice enough, had everything I needed. Kept very clean, no obvious renovations needed or no obvious areas in need of cleaning. Clean sheets, functioning AC. Bathroom was clean, soap provided. Shower head was a bit strange but not a huge deal. Free breakfast was a nice addition, and I also appreciated the ice machine and water fountain. I’d stay here again in a heartbeat.
- 3/5
The garbage can at the entrance was overflowing when we arrived. The staff was very friendly. We couldn’t check in 45 minutes early without a fee of $15. There was no microwave in the room and the shower curtain had mold on it and needed to be replaced. There is no ice machine in the hotel as well. We did not have the breakfast so I cannot comment on that. Our second night there our key wouldn’t work so I had to have them reactive it. The hotel could use some renovation. It used to be a really nice hotel.
- 4/5
Rooms are in need repair walls repainted but overall room was clean.
- 1/5
It was moldy, water damage, hair on the bed and in the shower. It was filthy and the bed was stained.
- 4/5
We stayed one night. The room was very basic but very clean. The staff was helpful and friendly. Would stay here again.
- 4/5
Quick, convenient though upstairs neighbor was noisy in the middle of the night. Overall good stay
- 5/5
Room and Breakfast area have been completely remodeled and were very nice. Bed and pillows were comfy.
- 4/5
our room was small, but just what we needed during a long trip. inexpensive.
- 5/5
Employees were great. Breakfast was good.
- 2/5
Room was sparse and outdated. Every spot needed to be retouched
- 5/5
Clean, staff great to work with, close to venue, beds comdortable
- 5/5
Good location
- 4/5

- 5/5
Friendly staff. Rooms could use a bit of detailed cleaning all over, we found food crumbs behind the microwave. Also, the tv was unplugged from its electrical outlet, thankfully I'm tall enough to have been able to plug it back in. Overall, worth the money for a quick stay for the Illinois Gaming Con.
- 3/5
Front desk person really lazy! Told her we had plugged toilet, she set plunger outside our room. Check in area really warm/water stains on ceiling/hole in our bathroom wall/VERY NOISY/got flat tire from nail in parking lot(which was also dirty). This place needs major renovation. We will not be staying again at this place
- 3/5
It was good for the ocassion but not exactly like pics. Seemed short staffed and not much staff for additional needs. Toilet was broke on check-in but no obe to fix it
- 4/5
Was there for music event so price was excessive for the room, but expected. Nice remodel on property , but not really clean. Not sure if because of larger amount of guests for the weekend event
- 5/5
Would stay again… fair price
- 4/5
Quiet and relaxing
- 5/5
Comfortable bed for good nights sleep.
- 4/5
Very basic hotel room but it was very clean and that was what was most important to me. It appears that some things have been renovated such as new flooring in the bedroom and new sink toilet and mirror. I was satisfied for $70.
- 3/5
Staff very nice and helpful my room was clean but very plain no pictures on walls no headboards on beds furniture was older cracks And missing paint in bathroom.. No microwave … the price for the room is why we stay there I guess you get what you pay for
- 5/5
Excellent property
- 1/5
New floor. Holes in the walls, missing Sheetrock in bathroom . I had to replace a lightbulb so that I could review info for seminar. No microwave. Fridge had no racks- froze my salad in less than 2 hrs. No hair dryer. Shower was for handicap so unless I dismounted it and held sprayer I would have to bend over. Blankets were 2 sheets. Dogs above me were let to run at 4:30 am every morning. Grime on top of outlets. Hot breakfast was reconstituted eggs and one waffle iron. Won’t do this again
- 4/5
I liked that the floor was LVP and not carpet because carpet in hotels is gross.
- 3/5
Could have used some deep cleaning
- 4/5
The service was good but the property needs a major overall. Was good for one night but wouldn't consider staying for more than a day
- 3/5
Decent hotel for a reasonable price. Not fancy. Comfortable bed. Breakfast was limited but did have eggs, yogurt, waffles.
- 1/5
They are undergoing a “remodeling” and the pictures do NOT represent the room or the lobby.
- 5/5
The property was completely remodeled and everything in good working order
- 4/5
No frills but clean and beds were comfy! Breakfast was better than anticipated. Good value hotel.
- 3/5
The hotel might be doing some remodeling and if they are, need to state it. The bathroom is very small and the toilet is uncomfortably short/small. It was not easy to use the restroom. The bed was comfortable. The air conditioner was very loud when it turned on and off.
- 5/5
Safe and easy parking
- 4/5
Good!
- 3/5
Decent stay. Staff was friendly, breakfast was ok, nothing special, room was small but comfy.
- 1/5
Staff were amazing, however the room toilet did not flush. Breakfast was eggs, cereal, yogurt, waffles NO! Meat so sad!
- 2/5
Tv didn’t work, front desk guy tried walking in my room (not even 15 minutes after checking me in). Overall very run down
- 5/5
Very clean rooms. Staff was wonderful.
- 1/5
The toilet in our room was installed only 1 inch from vanity-so extremely hard to sit on to use-so ended up having to go to lobby restroom throughout the night. Tried on 5 occasions to call the front desk and see about getting a new room but no one would answer the phone. . Also to complain about the people in room 323 (above us) were practicing the River Dance and kids body slamming each other all night long. But was unable to get help from front desk. Pics of toilet to follow.
- 1/5
Staff couldn’t find my reservation, said because we came right at midnight that it was probably called a no show. Wanted me to pay for the night again even though I had a confirmation number and email. Clearly does not understand what customer service is.
- 3/5
Postage stamp size room, wi-fi did not work, no reading lights, cheap, cheap, cheap. Good breakfast. Will not stay again.
- 3/5
Service was amazing. Building was dirty and old...well they are going through a renovation. Hopefully it will be better next time
- 4/5
They are remodeling but our room was nice, twinkle was wonderful yes that was the wonderful from desk lady. we stayed in room 122 please cut the tree branches outside this room. We were woke up by the tree hitting the window sounded like someone tapping it to get your attention and at other times like someone knocking on the window and the wall.. other than that nice stay for the price. room was clean & we were so tired it didn't matter that the bed wasn't great we slept and thats all we needed. thank you for affordable rates & friendly staff.
- 5/5
Value for money
- 5/5
It was great and wonderful
- 5/5
It was amazing stay. Very clean property with convenient location. Staff is nice too. Good thing is they have started renovating property to make it better than it is. I would recommend everyone to stay here.
- 5/5
You get what you pay for. The staff is nice, but they could use some meat for the included breakfast. But again, you get what you pay for. I would stay there again.
- 3/5
The hotel is slightly under construction. It looks like they are making improvements. The beds were not very comfortable, but they were clean. The lady at check-in could have been a tad friendlier but maybe she was having a bad day. They did have breakfast which is a plus. Overall It was ok and would consider staying again if only for a night or two.
- 4/5
Old hotel but the room we have looks nice. Very big with planty of lights, i mean, many lights set to full power, and none of them can be turned down. Bring your own night light if you need them at night or you'll have a 100w light bulb shunning at you.
- 2/5
The only good thing I can say was it was quiet. Bed was horribly uncomfortable and hard. The front door looked horrible. One of the doors was blocked by big rocks so you couldn’t open because it was broken. The other door was falling off. Tiles in the bathroom were cracked.
- 5/5
It was great
- 4/5
Travelled to Bloomington, IL for my daughter to compete in IHSA Girls State Wrestling. Stayed here due to Ramada reputation and very affordable price. Staff was courteous and helpful. Location was very clean!
- 5/5
Clean room and breakfast was good.
- 3/5
The staff was rude when we wanted to extend our stay and when we checked out didnt give us all our deposit when there was nothing wrong with the room it was spotless when we checked out claiming our room smelled which it didnt it was another one thatbwas smoking weed and one that almost caught there room on fire
- 2/5
The overall feeling is dirty. Ice machine broken the juice for breakfast broken the water used for coffee foul taste. The sink between the beds was dripping all night. I told them they didn’t ask what room. I had reservations for two rooms. The cleaning staff definitely needed to be cleaning better.
- 3/5
The front desk was helpful but the cleanliness of the room was pretty rough. The bed and pillows were good. The floors did not seem like they had been mopped ever.
- 4/5
Clean. Affordable. Geri was nice.
- 1/5
very unprofessional staff and the property is in need of repairs. The room reminded me of a rent by the hour kind of deal and was very dirty. i spent one night and ditched it for the rest of my trip...never again.
- 3/5
This hotel was fine for a night. Dated and a little run down. A lot of hair in the bathroom when we arrived, and the room smelled strongly of cleanser, so if you're very sensitive to smell this may not be the place. Breakfast options were limited. Not terrible, not great.
- 3/5
When I checked in, the lady giving me my room key (worked Jan. 9 night) said my room number aloud - jeapordizing my safety by giving my location to anyone in the lobby (which was not empty). I get to my room, to see my dead bolt lock doesn't work - it's misaligned by a whole centimeter or so. The bathroom light - a common nightlight for any hotel guest - turns off after 15 minutes or so. And, when I came back to my room after my first night, my door was left open by housekeeping. Thankfully, the lady working that day (worked Jan. 10 day) walked me up to my room, and made sure I was comfortable before returning to the front desk. Though booked through a 3rd party, I was able to cancel and get a refund on the last night of my stay talking to the front desk. These last two statements are the only reasons I did not give a 1 or 2 star review. I came here for a safe place to sleep, and was not given it.
- 3/5
The floor in the room needed repair. The tiny cheap toilet seat is a joke.
- 5/5
Very friendly, excellent customer service. Room was nice.
- 5/5
Lady behind the desk was so nice love her personality
- 2/5
Rooms were 2 small bed horrible only 3. pillows for 2 people
- 2/5
Property is run down. Hasn’t been updated in decades.
- 4/5
Hotel is in a convenient area for finding restaurants, etc. The are seems very safe.
- 3/5
Didnt get room ordered. Second bed had a very suspicious stainnon one of the bed sheets and cleaning crew did not clean up.
- 2/5
This was the worst hotel I've ever stayed in. It was dirty, there was trash under the bed, so whoever cleaned the room did not clean it very well. There was women's hair on the bed. The gym was closed because there's a water leak. The pool was closed because they're using it as a storage room with all the furniture. I stayed in a studio suite and it looked more like a crappy dorm room. I was even shocked that they had the audacity to ask for $100 hold when this place was a complete utter dump. Whoever owns this place needs to market it as a place to lay your head while you're traveling through because there were zero amenities. I will never stay here again.
- 2/5
Flooring in bedroom was coming up (unsafe). Tile in bathroom was not secured to floor (unsafe). No shampoo in bathroom.
- 1/5
The properties seem to be clean, but outdated. It came with free breakfast, but they had very limited items. They had cereal bars that they put a padlock on. I came down at 9:01 to get a cereal bar, and it was padlock shut. Also I had an extremely difficult time sleeping as it felt like I was sleeping on rocks. The bed was extremely uncomfortable. I woke up many times because my body was hurting due to the awful bed.
- 1/5
Condition of property was terrible, door broken, toilet was used & not flushed before we went into room & elevator quit working
- 3/5
Very Basic hotel. Stayed for ISU Family wknd when finding hotels is limited without price gouging. Hotel needs updating, room was missing a nightstand, literally broken off the wall. one pillow case had a small stain. Room was clean, plenty of towel. Door to room had some rust and bathroom needed updating. Breakfast is VERY basic, example: breakfast bars, 2 mini muffins in a ziplock bag, single bagged poptart. Hotel worked for a place to sleep and that is about it and all we needed.
- 4/5
It was okay
- 1/5
The lady at check in was really nice. After that however, it was a crapshoot if we were going to find someone at the desk Which was often empty. When we checked out, waited for over 10 minutes and noone came back- went back to room and left keys on counter and left without being able to ask a question about billing. Also, and most disturbing part of stay was that toilet was leaking at the base and entire room smelled like a porta potty- first night couldn’t even sleep the odor was so deep up my nostrils. They had no other rooms that we could change to and other hotels in the area were either booked or charging $250+ / night because of a local university event.
