Everything thing was great here. The room and common areas were clean. The staff was very friendly. Our only complaint would be the breakfast options. There wasn’t much of a selection when we stayed. One of the staff members mentioned that they were out of a lot of things and waiting on a delivery. It was a little frustrating traveling with 2 kids but we managed to find another place to eat. Overall, great stay.

The pool was clean. The staff were AMAZING! Bathroom had some hair from previous guest in the shower and the shower had rust stains. I slid my hand over the porcelain and it felt gritty/dirty. Water pressure in shower was low. Water pressure in bathroom sink was crazy high!

The bed was harder than we prefer. The toilet slow flushed which was fixed, but the problem returned in the morning.

Good for traveling through. $50 dog fee is a bit high. Shower water pressure was very poor

Close to the interstate Tv didn’t work so we had to change rooms. Next room the fan in the bathroom was extremely loud

Recently renovated

The renovation update of this hotel was shoddy. The bathroom had painted over black mold in multiple places. The bathtub was old and discolored. The door to the outside had no stop so it slammed shut every time someone came through, right next to our room. The bedding coverlet was torn. The entertainment center doors were installed improperly and misaligned. There was only yucky fast food nearby. I couldn’t get out of there fast enough.

Tv worked intermittently. Light from outside shone into the window. Shower was a trickle. Room 113-avoid if possible.

When getting ready for bed, as we pulled the sheets, a cricket was crawling on the mattress, jumping around. I was able to catch it and take it to the front desk. I shared with them that this was the second thing that happened to us resulting in me wondering about the cleanliness of the room. She assured me that she would reach out to the district manager and "make it right". For both situations, they said that had I not used Expedia, but reserved through Hilton, I could have received points (I'm not a member), however, since I used a "third party", they couldn't provide me any reimbursement or concessions towards my stay. The next morning, at check-out, I asked one more time about how to "make right" from the tub and cricket... The front desk said, "That's what happens on the first floor... Orkin can't get all of the insects." Whelp, that sealed the deal for me.

One bad thing an extra blanket in the closet was dirty. Otherwise lovely place

Breakfast was very average and less than experienced at prior Hampton stays. Fake eggs and bland sausage. Add the biscuits and gravy and your closer. Card on exterior door didnt work as promised. Not a huge problem but disappointing. For 200$ in BLOOMINGTON IL definitely overpriced.

When I raised these concerns, I was told the hotel was sold out and a room change was not possible. Instead, I was offered the option to either wipe down the bathroom myself or have the front desk manager do it—completely unreasonable for a guest who has paid to stay here. At checkout, when I brought this up again, my concerns were dismissed rather than taken seriously. This was one of the worst hotel experiences I have ever had, and I left feeling both frustrated and disrespected. I will not be returning and cannot recommend this property to others.

It was clean and quiet. The location was not near much, there’s a Steak ‘n Shake next door. Would love to have more stores nearby.

Property does not have on site laundry, though it claims to in its listing. Not a huge deal except we were traveling for a sports event. Everything else was as it should be for that type of hotel.

Beds had the best and most comfortable mattresses we have had at a hotel.

We were a little disappointed because the room was rather tired and dated. It had a tub shower, rather than a walk-in; the sofa was somewhat caved in. However, the carpet was new and the mattress was good. Breakfast was only ok, but we liked that it started at 06:00.

The hotel was clean and comfortable. There was no housekeeping even when we asked for it. For 3 days the room wasn’t cleaned or restocked.

The room was clean, the front desk clerk was very friendly and helpful, it was quiet and the breakfadt was very tasty. I will be staying here the next time I come home for a visit.

It was a nice hotel but the kids that was on the 3rd floor where running all night till at least 11 both nights son had competition for basketball but no sleep.

The employees are genuinely nice and check in was fast and easy. We stay in Bloomington a few times a year and this was the best experience so far in 10 years.

I wasn't pleased to see that the ottoman in the room had ripped material and that light was clearly visible through the door jam out to the hallway. I am not a fan of the new "Hello Name" on the tv when you walk into the room--it's not welcoming, it's creepy. The staff was great, but the room was in poor condition for what I paid for it.

We stayed there for a family reunion me and my family and I loved it. The staff is wonderful. The beds were comfortable and I enjoyed the breakfast.

Upon arrival some other guests were blocking the entrance, but that is no fault of the hotel. When I checked in, there was no one at the desk and it took a minute for someone to come around. The first room I checked was ok on appearance until it came to the bathoom, the toilet wasn't flushing properly and there were spiders in the tub/bathtub, so I asked to switch rooms. The second room was fine. Outside in the parking lot we found a used needle and informed the hotel staff who took care of it immediately.

Nice enough, but not a good value $$ at $220, that price point is almost $100 higher than competitors I have stayed with recently, and their rooms were on par with this Hampton. The breakfast for instance was just ok. Location was on the highway with all the others.

Stayed at the property for one night. Pricing was reasonable. Lots of space to park and the area was very quiet; you are close to an Aldi and not far of a drive to other things in town; you will feel safe. Front desk concierge was very helpful when asked for directions. Room was very clean, some minor wear in the bathroom but nothing unbearable. Beds were nice and comfortable. All in all, I enjoyed my stay, wosh it could have been longer lol. I would definitely stay at this hotel again and other properties.

Our flight was canceled from SC - IL so at the very last minute we had to make a 1,000 mi drive to get to graduation on time! We arrived in town at 7 am to my nieces and took her to breakfast and then got supplies for the girls in her appt to eat whilst getting ready for convocation. We were beat and called to see if we could have early check in, yes! She went up and made sure the room was actually clean and ready for guest check in. I asked her name and was so exhausted I forgot it, but she was so kind at check in on Sat and check out on Sunday! Room was clean and perfect place for us to catch a quick nap before ceremony and retreat to after the festivities. Only wish we had time to enjoy the pool!

Overall a nice stay, just overnight for us. There was a problem with the fire alarm (twice) but it was handled efficiently by the staff. Breakfast was good but not a lot of choices, basic eggs, sausage, waffles, and cold choices.

Bathroom in room could use some updating. The tub had stains.

This was my first stay at the Hampton Inn Bloomington West in Bloomington, Illinois. The room was clean and spacious. I was pleased that there was a grab bar in the shower. The only improvement would be more USB ports available to charge phones.Will stay again. The hotel is near many restaurants.

I liked the free weights in the gym. We had an issue with the bathtub. The bottom was in the shape of a “V” and my wife slipped and fell.

Hampton Inn was clean and quiet. The staff was very personable. We were very pleased with our stay there.

We didn’t have enough towels in our room so we had to go down and ask for them. Pillows are not comfortable. You have to keep fluffing or bend it to stay under head or it would be too flat. Our biggest thing is we had 7 people in our room. So with the sofa bed we had a place for everyone to sleep. Our complaint is the sleeper sofa isn’t even sleepable . You feel the bar and springs. It was really bad. It was too late to do anything. This hotel is rated an 8 but I would give it a lower rating.

The hot water was turned off, the phone was not working and I had to plunge my own toilet because the water pressure was low

The property needs a face lift and it seems more people added to the house cleaning. Better dusting and cleaning of the bathrooms needed.

Overall presentation was nice but bathroom floor and shower was dirty with mold/mildew and hair. When using the water, a very strong mildew smell is present. Shared soap and lotion is gross.

Was my first time staying at this Hampton. It was easy to get to, clean (although when I first walked in I smelled the pool on the first day), with lots of eating options close by. Both treadmills in the gym worked! This was important because those at the Hampton on Towanda hadn't been fixed or replaced in a couple of years. So I'd stay here again.

Breakfast area was dirty. I grabbed the spoon that was in the cranberries for my oatmeal and it was so dirty that I threw my breakfast away. Gnats were everywhere. The lady that was working it the breakfast area had an apron on that hadn't been washed since it was new. The cart that she was using to refill food was so dirty and looked like it had never been washed. This is an older hotel that could use a lot of updates. Definitely the worst Hampton Inn I've ever stayed at. We won't be back!

Hotel was okay. It was nice from the standpoint of parking a trailer. Great clean lobby and rooms. Though the window seal was broken and the shower was plumbed in such a way that it couldn’t turn on, room 310 worked for two adults and two kids.

It was nice but a little pricey for the stay, the room was nice and clean! When I checked in the lady at the front desk was nice, but in the morning the two lady's at the front desk didn't greet me as far as saying good morning but as soon as someone came behind me they greeted them good morning, I found that kind of odd! The breakfast was mediocre at best.

This hotel was excellent for the price. I used a free night and so it was great. At check in the person was not as friendly as I have experienced in the past. She did not tell us about when the breakfast was served and she seemed as if we were intruding on her time. I will stay there again as it is close to a event I was attending and hope to do so again.

It’s a building with rooms and beds and pool. Not much after that. Think camping indoors.

The staff was wonderful and it was a great price and not far from where I needed to be. The room was a decent size but I couldn’t get the heat to run for more than a few minutes and the shower curtain was not clean. Also the scale in the workout room wasn’t calibrated.
