Great location for restaurants beaches amenities seemed very nice. The pool was nice. The breakfast was very good. Changed every day. We were very happy with all of it would highly recommend.

My big thing is cleanliness, and the room appeared to be immaculate. I did not have room service, so i can't rate that, but I had no needs during my stay. Breakfast bar was good and well-stocked. Even the coffee was good. Everyone was genuinely friendly, not just the usual grousing staffer with tattoos, piercings and colored hair. I'd definitely stay at the Holiday Inn Express in Bonita Springs again.

Location: Holiday Inn, 27891 Crown Lake Blvd, Bonita Springs, FL This was by far the worst experience I’ve had at a Holiday Inn, and I’ve stayed at many Holiday Inn properties over the years. The building appeared run-down and had a strong unpleasant odor throughout the property, similar to urine. Both the hallways and the guest room smelled unclean, which made for a very uncomfortable stay. The breakfast selection was also very limited. What was especially concerning was observing a staff member handling bagels with her bare hands, without using gloves or utensils. This raised serious concerns about food handling and hygiene practices. Overall, it felt as though this property was operating well below the standards guests expect from the Holiday Inn brand. The condition of the hotel and the lack of attention to cleanliness and food safety were disappointing. To Holiday Inn Corporate: I believe you should be aware that your brand is being poorly represented at this location. This property does not reflect the quality, cleanliness, and professionalism that many travelers associate with Holiday Inn. I hope these concerns are addressed to improve the experience for future guests.

Staff were great, but the room wasn’t good at all. Shower was leaking, roof had water stains, not enough bed cloths. Keeping in mind we booked two suites I would have thought these were the best rooms. I was very disappointed

Credit card Hold for incidentals..what a racket. Been checked out for 2 days they charged the card and when you call they don't answer the phone. It's no Longer a pending charge. Stay at the Hampton Inn stone's throw away.

3 nights dog barked since it was left in room alone and right next to elevator. Reported it to front desk twice but they had only record of 1 complaint.

La recepción Olga muy amable!! El cuarto tenía refrigerador, microondas, cafetera, bien amplio e los amenites Dove, muy bueno!

Stayed for Memorial Day weekend and enjoyed the closeness to the beach, to shopping plaza of Publix and other stores. The breakfast was good and the rooms and hotel were cleaned

What a great find! Rooms are specious, shower is hot and excellent water pressure. Location is amazing, literally 5 minutes drive from the public beach. It was clean and welcoming. Special thanks to a friendly and helpful staff. Will be returning.

The pool was closed my last full day there. NO prior notice !!! Just a locked gate!! They said the pool was treated and could not be used that day ! I said I wouldn’t go in at all. Just sit on a lounger in the sun ! Tha answer was NO !! I would have made other plans if I had known !! Not cool at all !!!!! Also. I’ve stayed at this hotel many times. It’s always somewhat dirty. Green walls. And always freezing even though their website says heated pool. And rarely pool towels available !

The first room that was assigned to us didn’t smell the best, but it’s likely due to the AC being off and the humidity setting in. We contacted the front desk and she was very accommodating and switched us to another room rather quickly.

Breakfast actually has hot foods, not a huge selection of hot, but still a large selection of foods. Rooms are a good size, bed and pillows are comfy. Has a big tv in the room that is adjustable for the viewing angle. I’ve stayed here plenty of times and will be back again.

We have stayed here 3 times now because of the staff. They are amazing from breakfast to bedtime. Olga makes my daughter feel like she is a princess. She makes her cookies special for her and treats every patron like they are family.

People complaining about mild smell

We were on the 3rd floor and we complained twice regarding how freezing the hallway was. Another person on the floor mentioned they must have missed the memo on heat. Water in the sink did not get past lukewarm.

The breakfast was wonderful. The hotel staff were very kind and and helpful. The property was in need of some repair and was older than the pictures online showed. The location was convenient and next to CVS so we could pick up things we needed for travel.

Low quality, cost-cutting property in comparison to all Holiday Inn-Express & Hamptons stayed at past 5 years. Franchise owners cutting corners.

Shops and restaurants were near the hotel

Staff: The staff were probably the nicest and most helpful that I've had at a hotel in a very long time, Natalia went above and beyond and made me feel like a welcome guest and encouraged me to ask questions etc anytime. Cleanliness: The room & bathroom were 99% clean. Only had a few crumbs in the dresser drawers. Everything else was very clean. I especially appreciated how clean the breakfast/coffee area was, the staff monitored that very well every day. Hotel as a whole: It is showing it's age. The staff does a great job maintaining what they have to work with. It definitely needs some updates, especially in the rooms (I had to switch rooms 2 days in due to a smoke detector going off every 20 minutes during the night). The metal lamps were corroded, the dresser was chipped/worn with bent handles, the desk chair I couldn't lean back in. The bathroom needs fresh paint but also a new tub/shower insert as it was peeling in 2 small spots. Breakfast: They rotated the eggs from scrambled to cheese omelet. They have salt/pepper/hot sauce. Meats were always pork sausage & turkey sausage. OJ was good, pancakes were mediocre. LOVE the new grind & brew coffee makers... I used them every morning and skipped the Keurig in my room. Wish they offered fresh cream... but bought my own and kept it in my room. A/C worked great. It has a couple options so I was able to set it to keep the fan on continuously during the night for white noise.

My only complaint was with the Comcast tv channel selection. There were too many sports channels, not enough channels for evening watching. There were 2 local channels that were on the guide but were not able to be viewed. These channels were ABC and CBS so we could not watch our favorite shows. We had to watch old reruns of NCIS.

Ice machine broken, it delivered ice but was in terrible disrepair. Shower rod and curtain did not keep water in tub. AC unit worked but was loud a lot of structural damage and chipped paint. Disappointed in HI. Staff was very helpful and friendly.

The maids were inconsistent. The room was not always cleaned daily. There were courteous when asked for toiletries.

While the staff was nice, the room and property were not clean. There was dirt on the walls, the conditioner dispenser was filled with soap, the ice machine was filthy, the bath in the room had not been cleaned in what appeared to be quite a while. The side entrance, which was supposed to be locked, was unlocked and accessible throughout our weekend stay.

We contacted management. After an initial response to apologize and seek more information from us they have refused any further communication. Do not stay here.

unlike my recent stay at Holiday Inn Express Punta Gorda, FL which was a 5 star experience, super clean, super friendly staff, quite, great all around, I was shocked at the condition of the Bonita Springs, FL location under the same name! The check-in process was interesting to say the least, I was warned the elevator was broken, given a 3rd floor room & told the $100 "parking fee" deposit would be refunded "at some point" for my inconvenience. A half naked man no shirt no shoes came up to chit chat with the check-in girl, I went to the stairwell which had an old prison theme, the room smelled like wet dogs covered in carpet spray, I was stuffed up sneezing shortly thereafter. There was 1 tiny little trash can in the bathroom. On a positive note, the cleaning ladies did an amazing job with the bedding, and the bathroom was VERY clean so left them a great tip. The carpet needs a serious shampoo or to be ripped out. There should be "no pets no smoking" rooms offered, I have and LOVE pets but the air should not smack you in the face when you walk in. The lighting was lacking with dirty yellow lamp shades. I slept a tiny bit due everyone using the stairs the prison like stairwell door was constantly slamming. I'm thankful I did not spend much time in my room. lock your cars at this one.

Elevator did not work. Room is very dingy. Rusty room door, bath door is dirty and needs painting. Tube is stained and old. Staff called at 11:15 PM asking us to move our car and it was not our car they needed moved. They apparently can’t see the difference between white ad black cars.

Rooms smelled strongly of mildew or mold, bath tub wouldn’t turn off all the way. Upon arrival pillows and bedding were damp seemed from humidity had to have air cranked super cold or was very musty. Woke up wit sore throats. Wrappers and items found under bed. Stayed for 6 days and friends we were with keys quit working 3 times and they had to get them fixed and kept being told they had no one in that room they were checked out even though reservation was for 6 days.

Our keys didn’t work 3 different times in 3 different days when our stay was for 6 nights. The room smelt like mold, or musty the whole time, the hallway smelt like burnt popcorn. I will never stay at a holiday inn express ever again.

The rooms and hallways smelled very musty. The windows did not stay open. The tubs were gouged and scraped. There was broken plaster in our room I do have to say that ALL of the staff from reception to housekeeping were truly EXCEPTIONAL! Very helpful, cheerful and friendly.

Had to bring the TV remote to the desk in order to get new batteries. Put the tv on and couldn’t shut it off. Went to take a shower the water was cold and didn’t get hot. I had booked two rooms for two nights and had to shower in the other room. The front desk staff were were nice and accommodating.

Olga’s awesome, she was very accommodating and let us check out way later than check out time.

Still have not refunded the “hold” on my card 72 hours later

No AC in the lobby. Elevator was old and sketchy and made weird noises. Didn't seem to be working properly.

Please note: This is not an ocean view hotel. You overlook the parking lot and other hotels. The room was adequate although the lighting at the sink was pathetic, at best—more like a night light. We were charged $3.00/night at the end of our stay for parking. Not sure what that was about since there was no security, etc. to justify the fee. This was not disclosed to us in advance. The breakfast was delicious and slightly different each morning. The staff was quite congenial and helpful, and the bed was very comfortable. The WiFi was spotty, working most of the time, but not always. We will look for a different place to stay next time we come (we came for a concert at Arts Bonita which proved to be a terrific venue, so we're looking forward to coming back to the area for more shows).

Rooms on the 4th floor smelled terrible, humidity smell was included in the room. I was disappointed since our previous experience was on the 3rd floor, and everything was ok.

Very clean hotel and excellent service. The sheets were crispy and the pillows were very comfortable. The pool is kept at a nice warm temperature. Breakfast is basic but plenty of options. There’s always people on the grounds cleaning and sprucing. And they have fresh cookies in the lobby. Great stay. I highly recommend it.

The handicap room was excellent ,beds were comfy and I like the lounge chair .The walk-in shower was the best .Breakfast was good ,on weekends I think they should extend the breakfast hours . Parking spaces should be in front Not elite parking! Those spots should be for handcap parking.Also workers cars should not be in front blocking entrance to registration and loading/unloading area.

The location & Staff was very nice and helpful. They made us feel welcome. The stinky carpets and humidity smell in the hallways and rooms. The hotel allows all pets inside every room for an extra fee of $45 which also contributes to unsanitary conditions. If they allow pets, they should consider only using some designated rooms JUST for pet owners.

Rooms were not clean it's smelled like mold, found a roach in our room got moved to a different room and there was a roach there too. Lobby is small.

We never stayed. Due to the fact that when we first entered the room, Non-smoking, it smelled so badly of cigarette smoke. We quickly walked out and went to the front desk to complain. The person at the desk could not believe it but did not say let me send someone to check. My husband then spoke to someone who was staying in the hotel and she proceeded to tell him that she permanently lived there. While she was telling him about her arrangement she was smoking. She was very pleasant and was very grateful that she had a place to stay. My husband and I chose not to stay there due to my severe allergies and we signed the form saying that we did not stay. The person at the front desk said that she will forward our complaint to management and see if we can get a refund due to the smoking and we never heard from anyone.

This property should not be considered a holiday inn express. It is old looking. The hallways smelled of marijuana and the room smelled like old cigarettes. It was not a professional feeling when checking in. Elevator was old and flooring was damaged. Just did not feel good staying there for the two nights.

The pool was like ice, and then when we tried to use our key to get back in, the door by the pool, it was reading red, so we had to walk around to the front door to get in. The room was nice and cozy. The only thing i didnt like was the extra charge for 100.00 put on my card. It should only be pending, not showing as a sale.

I stay there frequently , nothing fancy but at the right price it’s hard to beat. Rooms are big and have a lot of storage. Good free breakfast. 5 minutes from the beach .

The hotel was clean and overall good. You can see a lot of wear and tear in the rooms and peeling paint in bathrooms. Other than that the rooms were good and beds were comfortable.

Has not been updated since 1950s. 😕 There were small bugs on the night stand by the bed that we got rid of ourselves. When we checked in, we had to wait for them to get off there cell phones to help us. Keep driving...

I have used Expedia to book dozens of reservations over the years and the rate you changed us for this hotel is outrageous! I’ll never use your firm again! The rate printed out by the desk clerk was over $400 which is ridiculous for a property undergoing major renovations and a new roof!

The room had bugs crawling all over the place. Most of the staff spoke Spanish and pretended they didn't understand English. They were rude and rolled their eyes behind your back. Pancake machine didn't work, certain items were out of stock every day. Only whole milk after Tuesday and watery oatmeal. The faucet in the tub did not work properly and would not shut off. Would never stay there again!

First room smelled bad. Switched rooms and discovered that this one was full of mold in the bathroom and just in poor condition. The hotel needs a major overhaul and soon. My allergies acted up due to the unhealthy mold. Don't stay here. I took some pictures and will definitely write some more reviews. A shame it is a holiday inn.

Hotel is in desperate need of a refresh. Elevator lobby wallpaper is peeling on each floor, caulk around toilete was separating and brown, brown rings on bathtub, gross shower. Bed was very comfortable and clean.

Tried to cancel because we have COVID. the hotel would not help us.
