It was pretty dirty, I spent a lot of my time cleaning my room... just so much gunk would come off the doors, theshold and the glued down entry mat. One time I thought someone had died in the bathtub, because yellow fatty film was coming off. The housekeeper (or someone) would come into my room to wash herself, I really believe some were prostitutes.

Apparently the motel 6 was closing permanently the following day so only 5 T.V. channels were available and we asked for a room on a lower floor but the rude woman at the front desk put us on the 3 rd floor . The door to the room didnt close and latch properly and they still charge us $75.00?

The experience was pretty average. Room was slightly worn but clean. Staff was straightforward- in and out, efficient; but nothing noteworthy or extraordinary. It was expected of a Motel 6 and the rate. We didn’t intend to use the pool anyway but noticed it was dirty, there was a towel floating in there. The only complaint I do have is that Netflix doesn’t work on the TV. It won’t let us log in and keeps asking to try again later. The TV is presumably an older model that needs updates. Besides the Netflix disappointment, the experience met my expectations, which was minimum.

You get what you pay for i guess. It was a place to sleep. Wasn’t very clean and the elevator was a little sketchy. It’s a bare bones motel. No shampoo, body wash etc. it was fine for 2 nights though. Just make sure to bring everything you need

Front desk service could be friendlier. Hotel was poor condition but you get what you pay for. Lowest price but i wouldn't not stay here again nor would i leave items in the room if staying multiple days. Clearly some people live there and not the kind of people you want to interact with

Honestly this was pretty bad. I stay at a lot of low cost hotels while traveling around solo, but this place seemed especially messy, neglected, and just not well taken care of. I would avoid.

Parking was very crowded. One evening there were police cars in the parking lot, don't know why, another evening there was a fire truck and aid car, don't know why. The shower was very difficult to turn on. Tub was terribly discolored. My room was not available at check-in so after waiting a long time, they offered an upgrade but in reality it was a lesser room than what I had reserved. Two evenings after returning late at night to the hotel, my key card would not work, had to go to the office so that they could reprogram it. Would not stay there again.

Let's start by at least giving credit to the staff for their customer service. They were friendly kind and patient. The area I had a problem with was the room. There were 2 adults and 2 children, yet there were only enough towels for one person. I was there 2 nights and they didn't even change them out after the 2nd night. Second the room I was given was a room that was directly facing the freeway. All I could hear were calls all night. I could understand if the hotel was full, but it was not even close. It was super loud and we could barely sleep. The key card also kept deactivating. Even when it worked I had to try it 5-6 times before it opened. It was a total pain.

I gave this day three stars overall. The reason behind that was because a booking the reservation and paying for it online with simple. I had no issues with that. The price was slightly lower than the competition websites. And I received my confirmation rather quickly. However I deducted two stars due to the actual room I had received. When I first checked in I had checked in for a regular clean room and for some reason they had put me in a premium room so the following days when I booked the room and extended my reservation I thought I would be paying for a regular room however I am the pain like 30 or 40 dollars more for the premium. When I had first moved into my room I had complained because it smelled really bad. My boyfriend had told me that he thought it smell like dog however I thought the room stunk like dirty socks or something. We requested a different room they had put me in the room right next door to the room I was already in. This room also had a very bad smell to it. But seems the fact that we had already requested once to be moved and we were having issues already we didn't want to make a bigger deal of it so we stayed in the second smelly room. We dealt with this for about 2 weeks. The length of our stay. We did attempt to move into a regular room so that we could pay the cheaper rate however the cheap

For an older property it was in good condition. Our room was clean and we felt comfortable and safe.

Air conditioning was amazing, parking was a little far from my downstairs room but it wasn't bad. There's always some sort of ruckus going on in the area whether it's police activity or people fighting each other but no one ever bothers me so it's all good.

We got promised maintenance would show, never did than was refused another room or access to speak to a manager. Do not stay here the room was disgusting and the staff is even worse.

The mattress was terrible. So I asked to change the room but was told none was available. So I had no choice but to book another hotel (La Quinta Buena Park).

Front desk woman was rude. Feces outside our room. Small rooms, small beds that sank in the middle. Outdated furniture. Couldn't get into the pool. Unsafe- homeless and shady folks walking around hotel. Room was not protected with a gate or anything. Blood splatter from bugs on headboards and walls. It was so gross, I went to the front desk and requested a refund and booked another hotel down the street. I had my adult children and I was not about to let them stay there, let alone myself. It was the worst hotel I have ever been in, and I am in my 50's.

Typical basic Motel 6. At least here there are no surprises in what you’re getting and what is expected. The front desk staff was friendly and they had “security” that seemed to be patrolling. Best part about this place is that it is right next to a freeway and lots of walkable restaurants in the area.

Overbooked motel. Front desk gave me a key to a room with a person already in there had no rooms for me even though i booked 2 weeks in advance and only asked for a room near the elevator due to my fiancé tearing his Achilles. I spoke to someone around 12 the day of check in and was assured they could get me a room near the elevator. The only remedy they tried is offer be a 1 bed bottom floor i booked for 2 beds and a fridge. This place was horrible. I only got some of the money i paid for the room and had to drive home after being at a amusement park all day.

Let me start off saying there was black mold on the bathroom door on the bathroom ceilings and in the tub and outside the tub. It was cold the heater didn’t work the tv didn’t work . The air conditioning did not work. The keys coded to my room did not work either night of my stay. There also was another guest on drugs a few rooms down who was lurking around making people uncomfortable.

Front desk staff was the only good thing about this hotel. Room was dirty, outside was even dirtier, window screens broken, bathroom was not clean (paint chipping, dead insects stuck to the wall of the shower), pool area was horrible chairs were broken and dirty. I did not feel safe staying there, not a good place for kids.

Let’s just start with the first room I got checked into. The bathroom smelled like cigarette smoke and it was supposed to be non smoking room. I was moved to a different room and I discovered someone’s hair on the sheets, and the sheets had some stains. All that before I used them. The bathtub drain when in use, smelled like feces. Needless to say I did not shower during my trip and I slept fully clothed. They way overpriced the stay and the quality was very bad. Never again.

Everything was good just needed a little extra cleaning up for my expenses but over it was calm, easy to get around places walking distance.

This is my second stay at this hotel and I'll definitely be back.

The beds were very comfortable and had thick soft supportive pillows. Nice black out curtains so we had a good nights sleep. The heater worked well and the room was clean. The only thing that stands out negatively is the door lock. The strike panel inside the door jamb was very loose, and there was a sliver of light that you could see from the top of the door to the bottom as the door didn't touch actually touch the door jamb. There was also a security lock on the inside of the door that was really loose because there was a screw missing so the metal ball did not fit into the lever right to provide any additional security. Testing the actual door, the regular lock was working so I figured we were fine for the night as it was really quiet at this motel.

The front desk was really nice and really accommodating. Especially because we didn’t early check-in. But the room is very disgusting. We found a roach. The tub is really gross and leaking.

I have no idea how this place has such high reviews. This has got to be one of the worst hotels I have ever stayed in, if it was an option, I would have left and found another hotel to stay in. I am disabled so I selected the accessible bathroom, it looked more like a cell than anything. Tiles were falling off, black mold in corners of the room, and my first night there was a COCKROACH next to the toilet. Not only that but the room just sucked in general, there were no amenities, the bed was uncomfortable and the bedding awful, I had to buy a blanket from home goods. I tried the pool, it was disgustingly dirty and your feet got muddy if there were wet. The walls are so thin and the curtains had moth holes, that it let in all light and sound. It's a motel 6, sure you can't expect the best, but it can have the dignity to at least be clean. Avoid this one, it's worth it to spend an extra 20 bucks at a regular hotel. The only good thing to say was that there was one very nice staff member, but overall, the rest of the staff was prickly and unwelcoming. I am never staying here again.

My room didn’t have a fridge, ironing board, and iron. Attendant stated some rooms had them. All rooms should have these items. Room was okay. Convenient access to freeways.

In regards to the hotel itself? I feel like we got Temu’d. The photos posted for this property are no where near the quality of what we actually got. The room itself was “meh”. The bathroom had mold and hair in the shower. Mystery splatters throughout the whole room. The towels were clean and water really good and hot. Great water pressure. The toilet and the shower head extremely low, so tall people beware. There were no outlets anywhere in proximity to the bedside table so my husbands cpap cord would not reach and we had to charge our phones away from where we were sleeping. This could be an issue if you have a hard time waking to alarms. If you need any sort of medical equipment, this is definitely an issue. We had to buy an extension cord in order to reach the bed table. The building is loud due to traffic but we always bring a sound machine so that wasn’t terrible. Plenty of great restaurants and coffee within walking distance so that’s great. Very close to Disney. No hair dryer, shampoo/conditioner. Just bar soap. No fridge or microwave Other than that, if you need a bare bones “meh” room to get you from point A to point B it would suffice. If you’re use to any level of comfort, be prepared to not rest well.

This place was horrible the first room they gave us was horrible. The cigarette smell was extreme bathroom tubs were peeling or dirty. The walls in the bathroom were coming off. The bed had so many stains on the sheets I went down to ask for another room second room was worse smelled like mold or mildew mixed with cigarettes sheets were also very dirty bathroom tub also peeling there was a guy washing his clothes in the lobby laundromat and he was half naked I would not recommend anyone to stay here the staff she was a nice try to accommodate us, but this hotel I would not recommend

Overall this is my favorite Motel 6 property to stay at when I visit California. Staff is always helpful and caring. This was my first time renting a deluxe room, and unfortunately the toilet kept running unless you held the handle down until it completely finished flushing, and the air conditioner unit was so broken, not only could I not manage the settings, it did not keep the room comfortable.

Spring poking through the bed, sink hot was cold, cold was hot, bathtub peeling, toilet cracked, no ice marker to be found, we passed and left a day early, when checking out and told staff of the mess... The staff commented we could of moved rooms, the day we checked in they said they were booked up and couldn't move room. Not sure who telling the truth, for ice marker they comment we have one it's in the laundry room. As we were leaving. I stated other staff didn't know where it was. I did write to see if could get something back and if not that's ok someone hopefully will read and help change it back to a positive for others.

I got to the motel about 10 mnutes to 3pm and even though so close to check in they still charged the $10 early check in fee. I think the manager should have waived it especially since I told the $10 was supposed to be the copay for blood medication.. Since I was not able to pay for the medication Im at risk for a heart attack because my hlood is going up so high. I was not feeling well and very tired and 10 minutes seemed like a long time. I think the manager should have heen understanding and waive the $10 fee. But No! I would like a refund of the $10 I had to pay. by check to 1103 Hamal #112 Irvine CA 92618 or a $10 credit off my next stay. Also I don't ;like that they do not have a microwave for us and the room was not very clean and the staircase rails were dirty. I am very displeased and unhappy with my stay.

Our room was filthy. Flies covered the towels and shower curtain. The shower room floor and around the toilet dirty and we were afraid to use the amenities. There was stains and other people’s bodily hair covering our bed and pillows. The free wifi did not work in the room. The front staff made fun of us for being disappointed and openly talked badly about us for expecting the bare minimum. No consideration for their customers. We asked for another room and they said no. I have pictures and proof. I’m filing a complaint with the BBB and Expedia. I’ve asked my credit card company to do an investigation. We didn’t stay and found another hotel. Do not recommend!

I came here to check in and went to view the room, couldn’t because the elevator didn’t work! There were guest with dogs everywhere, dog poop outside, homeless, druggies etc. I get people have pets but animals have fleas etc and who wants to sleep in a hotel room where a dog has been in the bed, the hallways outside smelled like urine. Would not stay here again!

Bathtub and sink were disgusting, the sink was clogged. The bathtub/shower was a death trap, having no support bar or nowhere to hold onto. Both me and my girlfriend slipped and fell because the floor and tub surface were extremely slippery.

We stayed Friday and Saturday night 8/22-8/24/2025. People at check in were nice. We got the ground level. As we walked passed the main hallway to our room, there was ice cream melting. It was never cleaned just a caution thing up around it. We checked out Sunday it was still there flies all around having a feast. The room was pretty dirty. There were baby mosquitoes that I assumed from from the drain buzzing around I had to cover the sink and shower drain with towels. The room had not been deep cleaned in a very long time. I don’t think the property is maintained well either. Looks like nobody cares. It was a disgusting sight. Do better!

When we brought a cleanliness issue to the front desk's attention, they took no action on it and completely dismissed our concerns. We ended up checking out early as we were not comfortable staying in that environment.

if this is your last resort as a place to stay then by all means book prices are usually reasonable, however be prepared to go without toilet paper and have to chase down fresh linens everyday waiting for the front desk to have to go get them there's only one staff not to mention the manager is so unprofessional and just lacks basic customer service skills and empathy or understanding given the demographic of where the hotel is located. There are a lot of people who called that place home. California has all these rules now to living in a hotel because of Covid and the whole renters rights and squatting issues so it becomes very over whelming for the families who are going through it to have to vacate the premises for three days and then come back packing your whole life in and out of hotel rooms is exhausting mentally and physically, so you think, knowing this for a lot of of the people who are staying there, she would just be a little bit nicer and firm when she needed to be. It's not rocket science instead she walks around with a stick up her backend talk to you like you're a piece of dirt and she's better than you and to hurry up and get off property ! the motel 6 staton is WORSE ! we were there a whole 2 hrs before their staff just was ridiculous about everything ! i paid to be treated like i was living at my parents paying them rent ! CRAZY !! just because i am disabled and require a 24 hr care provider and when she needs to run errands i have coverage but that's not ok

Quiet, safe, but lacking in cleanliness. From the beginning when I walked in, it smelled musty and humid. Everything is super old including the beds and sheets. The bedding was yellow idk if from stains or because it was old. The bathroom had rust and it looked like someone had vomited and was given a quick wipe. The A/C was the only old thing still running strong and cold.

Terrible hotel bed bugs , spiders in restroom . Management didn’t even want to refund me after I sent pictures of the bed bugs and spider webs in my bathroom . Room looked nothing like pictures . Terrible place and ever worse staff . I left after 6 hours of having the room didn’t even sleep or stay a full day there . Disgusting I wish I could give no stars for this awful place .

Motel 6 was what we were looking for since it was just a weekend trip. The workers were nice. Location was great. It’s next to food/drink restaurants. The only thing we didn’t like was that the room smelled like smoke but overall good

Great hotel if you are traveling through on a road trip or just need a quick getaway. Checking in was easy, the staff was efficient and welcoming. No hassles everything was easy.

They lied about me doing something so petty I couldn't reason. And on my family when I paid and prepared to do something important

This hotel is disgusting, the smell of mold that hit you in the face when we walked into the room. The mattress was so dirty it looked like it was put on the bed from a dumpster.

The stay was comfortable at most. The rooms were clean but the towels had hair on it. Only complaint is the toilet flush was broken, even after complaining at the reception nobody came to fix it for my entire stay duration. But otherwise everything was okay.

the staff was kind! however, the room we got had a broken mattress, the area is very noisy, the walls appear to be thin since you can hear the cars on the freeway at night. the shower is confusing to work with (but i know that’s not anyone’s fault just thought i should mention it). overall, it was okay.

The rooms need to get properly renovated . Mine was a so-called premium and it was ok but the shower was a slide in and a bit grungy. Staff was nice and washer and dryer worked well. Close to the highway so that was good .

The check-in process and the staff were good. That’s about all I can positive for this place. We had to check in late so perhaps we were given the only room left? At least I can only hope the other rooms were even slightly nicer. Ours had rust, bubbled wood that was painted over, dirty corners, red flecks (blood, paint, hair dye? Who knows??) on the electrical socket near the sink. You could feel every coil in the mattress, and sometimes when you were just laying there without moving would hear a spring ‘pop’. And while my husband’s pillow appeared mostly decent, mine literally was big lumps of the polyester fill. I get that we booked a cheaper hotel room, but when did we go from cheap being no frills and basic to dirty and run down? Definitely a disappointment.

The hotel was good for the price we paid. Plenty of places to eat and it was a good distance away from everything we planned to do around town. Staff was friendly, checked us in super quick and gave us the option of which floor we wanted, which I really appreciated. 100% would book again!

I am very disappointed, the beds were in very bad condition, they never came to clean the room and much less to bring toilet paper or clean towels, even though I stayed there for seven nights, I chose them to spend my vacation because years ago I was in this same chain but in Oceanside and well it was totally opposite to what happened.

Linens were so thin, pillows were practically flat. Beds were lumpy. The only reason we slept was because we were exhausted. TV had the Netflix app but it didn't work - an inconvenience but not the worst. The furniture in room was pretty beat up. All this said, I still felt like I overpaid for the experience.

Mildew in the shower. Water dripped from the lights. Floors were dirty. Poor shower design in handicapped shower and it flooded bathroom. When I asked for towels to replace the ones I used to mop up the water the staff gave me a hard time about additional towels and only gave me one. Bugs in the room.

Everything was clean felt safe and very friendly service.

I was a brat at the end for not leaving on time but felt confronted by staff inappropriately for a misunderstanding. In the end it was a peaceful goodbye.

No soap or shampoo.. no coffee, or fridge. Ice machine who knows where that was at. Security doors was busted open a few times. Screws were not even tightened. Worse experience I have ever had Fiancee did not sleep at all for those w nights we stayed because she thought some of the criminals outside was going to break in

Old white lady was rude and lied about no rooms being available. She didnt even offer early check in. The rooms are not that great either. I tried using the heater and it blew up the first few seconds. Not spending money here again.

The only complain i have is that the ac was not getting that cold other then that everything else was great
