Good Nite Inn Buena Park

The staff was helpful even before my arrival. The room was clean and well kept. I love the location! It’s within 10-20 min drive from all the major attractions and such a great variety of restaurants and shopping nearby.

The only reason I gave this review a 2 and not a 1 is because the staff was great and I was thankful I was able to open up a window being on the 3rd floor. When we got to our room, the AC was off, the windows were closed and the room was so musty it was almost unbearable. Went downstairs to talk to the front desk, but they were so busy checking in other guest. Luckily there was a Target around the corner. We went and got some cleaning supplies and cleaned the room ourselves as much as we could. We turned on the AC and opened the windows to air out the room. We were only staying there 1 night so I wasn't going to put up a fit.

The place was clean and without any problem to stay

Check in is 3 we arrived very early at 12:30 the staff member at the front desk wouldn’t even check if my room was ready. I understood it might not be ready that early but she won’t even check or look up my reservation, she told me to come back at 1:30. We left and came back at 4:00, once i got to my room i noticed hair in the bathtub, the toilet seat was broken and there was trash left in the refrigerator.

Room was clean, bed was comfortable. Staff is very friendly and accommodating. Loved that they have free parking and free WiFi when so many other hotels are now charging for them. Has a refrigerator but not a microwave. It has a nice pool area. They serve coffee and tea in lobby. Although it is a basic, no frills hotel, it is very clean. We came for Disneyland and other places and it was perfect for our family.

Hotels.com has it rated 8.2. To me, an 8.2 hotel is a very comfortable, very nice hotel - something on the order of a Marriott chain hotel or a Hilton. This was not that. While the room was pretty clean and the staff were very friendly and helpful, it just is not on the same level as those hotels. The bed was relatively hard. Both my wife and I woke up early because of soreness in our shoulders because of the hardness of the bed. Granted - this is a personal preference so take that and color it whatever way you need to. Having said all of that, the price was half that of a chain hotel. So, the value is pretty good. And I appreciate that. Overall, it was a good stay. Plenty of dining options around and very close to Knott's Berry Farm (we didn't go there) so the location is pretty good. It felt safe so that was never an issue.

We checked in really late due to unexpected traffic. We scoured the room and we saw dead cockroaches on the floor. I went to go tell staff and they seemed to be in disbelief and questioned the idea of there being bugs. I told them i took pictures and they could come into the room and check the trashcans to see the remains. All I asked was for them to come and vaccuum the floor. I didnt ask for compensation or anything, just to clean the room. They were rude and never even apologized for the mess

So clean, great pillows and comfortable. The only thing was the shower power was a little low. But the tub was large and clean. For the money and location this was a great little spot!

Room was overall clean would have given 5 stars but beds weren’t very comfortable seemed very lumpy and flat pillows thin blanket so I froze all night. Light right outside window and curtains didn’t close all the way leaving a small opening for the light to shine right through. Very noisy on the first floor. We also killed 5 spiders. 3 in the bathroom 1 near the sink closet area and there was one on the bed

There was hair on the sheets, but other than that, it was clean and cheap, so I can't complain too much

Friendly staff, overall property was kept up. But left reservation early to stay in a different hotel. Door frame weather stripping was non existent allowing for air and light to come in, the room had no microwave, theres one in the office to use, the bathroom door slides closed but theres a gap of the barn door & wall and leaves space.

There’s no microwave in the room. There’s one communal microwave for the entire property. The bathroom door is a barn door w no lock. No fan in the bathroom. It was ok but prob would not stay again.

We requested top floor when we booked 3 months out. When we arrived, we were told they had no rooms available on the top floor. So we were put in a room right at the stairs and up against the pool on the second floor. It was very noisy from outside the first night. Second night, it sounded like we had a little league team on a sugar high in the room above us till after midnight. We have stayed here every year for many years a we are here on business. Not sure we will be back.

Great location and plenty of parking.

Parking was easy with spaces available near our rooms general area. We had a late arrival so (around 10pm) so we used the night window to check-in, very easy and the staff member was clear and cordial and we were done in a couple of minutes. Room was clean, comfy, and quiet. It was a warmer day so the air conditioner helped make the room very comfy temperature wise, if you're visiting in the summer - have no fear, the AC will keep your room cool.

Basic hotel with friendly staff. Good for a short stay. No breakfast, just coffee (no decaf). Oddly, there were no hooks in the bathroom/room anywhere and only one short towel bar in a room with two queen beds (potentially 4 people), so we ended up buying 3M hooks to hang our towels.

No complaints. Everything was great and they accommodated me for an early check-in at no extra cost! Love it.

The most recent time however I did have issues with the key card. It did not work and I was on the second floor. I ended up having to go down twice to get a replacement and finally the front desk attendant came with me and realized that there was indeed and issue and had to open the door manually with a special fob. That was the only issue I’ve had so far. The rooms are always clean and comfortable. Lots of parking to choose from. And I definitely appreciate that they don’t charge for parking or charge for more than one vehicle! It’s also it’s a great central location. Lots of places to eat nearby. Close to Disneyland/Anaheim area. This place is definitely my go-to. And great pricing!

Parking was easy to find and the property was clean. The sliding barn doors on the bathroom are annoying because they would slide open since you can’t lock them. That means there is no privacy. The shower faucet leaked more water than the shower head.

The staff - Rosa is the worst I checked out of my room and realized I left my prescription in the drawer and asked her if I could please pick it up, this is something I need to take for the rest of my life and she said no that house keeping never turned in any of my medication. I said please check the drawer she said no call and talk to the manager tomorrow and she said I am hanging up now! This is really sad that they will not give me my prescribed medication. Rude and very unprofessional. I will never stay here again.

We stay here a few times per year and it’s a good value and a short drive to Disneyland. However, my review is the same each time. Hard beds and long hairs in the bathroom. Every single time. If they’d get some new mattress and be a little more thorough in their cleaning, this would be a perfect place to stay.

The property is very well maintained, inside and out. We had 2 one night stays a week apart. Both rooms were clean and fresh looking. The bathtubs were remarkably sparkling! Better than at many higher end, national name brand hotels. The staff was terrific. Welcoming and friendly. This was true from the front desk staff to the housekeeping staff to the maintenance man. Plenty of parking available. The only negative was traffic noise. Double or triple paned windows would reduce the noise. Our rooms faced Knott ave. Otherwise, we would definitely stay again.

The woman who checked us in when we arrived was amazing! She was friendly and very helpful. The environment was nice, the room was clean when we arrived, the towels, barely fit around a normal person‘s body, and they’re very thin, but they kindly gave me an extra one when I asked. We liked the hotel overall, and will probably stay again, I was just extremely upset that when we came, the bed had not been made. To that end, the bedding was very sparse. It was more like a sheet with a thicker sheet on top. No blanket. The bed was uncomfortable on the pillows were much too small for a king size bed. But the room was clean the property well taken care of, there are just some things that need attending to.

I have been staying at this hotel everytime we visit LA for the past 10 years, now it may not be the “top of the line”, it is still a safe and clean hotel, the rooms are clean, there is a fridge in most rooms, the beds are clean and comfortable, the showers are clean and if you need something you just ask and they try their best to accommodate you, the parking lot has always been safe for me, and it is only about 10 mins from Disneyland and 5 min from knotts berry farm, now it isn’t a 4 star hotel, but the staff and pricing is just as equal to one, so come and give it a try! You won’t be disappointed, and Lydia at the front desk, especially goes above and beyond! Thank you!

The staff was friendly. There was plenty of space for free parking. The room was clean. My biggest complaint was that the mattresses were really hard and the sheets were scratchy and uncomfortable. The room could use some updating. Overall, not a bad place to stay for a couple of nights, but would be tough to stay on those beds much longer than that.

Absolute nightmare from start to finish. Extremely disparagingly concerning slow checkout process. 45 people in the lobby and they kept coming. One staff member who I’m not joking literally checked in three people in an hour and 15 minutes we timed it. I think he shut down from the stress or something and when I spoke with him in the next day as nice as he is, I think there might be some type of learning disorder because like it made no sense rooms were disgusting. The room was disgusting. There was a gigantic wide of hair wrapped around the drain mechanism. It was so violent in the bathroom. I didn’t even wanna shower. Room was spacious, had clean towels daily. The only bad part was the restroom not cleaned properly, there was hair on the shower walls prior to our use and other parts of the restroom not thoroughly cleaned. I was happy I didn't forget my clorox wipes. Area is quiet, beds were comfortable.

The drive to Disneyland from Good Nite Inn is about 10-15 minutes, depending on traffic. It was a nice and quiet area to stay at. There is a McDonald’s next door for any late night cravings!

The Hotel looked quite dirty and run down from the outside, but when we got to our room is wasn't as bad, just really outdated.

The overall appearances/cleanliness of the room was satisfactory, though the bed was very uncomfortable and the sheets, old and scratchy. As I tried to sleep, the noise from the adjacent room continued and increased in volume (multiple people, loud, raucous, banging).I banged on the wall and called the desk twice. After 4am it subsided. Since I really didn't utilize the room, I left the 'do not disturb' sign for no housekeeping service. Observation: It seems that this has become a popular "hook-up" spot, as the security door is continuously propped open and from my window, people come n go frequently. When I returned to the room the second day, after removing the 'do not disturb' sign, I noticed housekeeping had not attended the room. Upon further inspection, the trash was removed and fresh towels were placed. Odd? I went to the front desk to inquire and they said, unless you request full service, only trash and towels would be changed out. This made no sense to me as I was not told this upon check, nor was there any literature on the in the room stating this process. If there is to be no housekeeping service, tell me upfront and I won't expect it. My final night, the 'bedroom' noise and revolving door returned. You've been warned. PLEASE do not stay here, especially with families.

No breakfast is a downer but McDonalds, Black Bear Cafe, and another restaurant adjacent or across the street, breakfast at any price range can be walked to. Coffee in the morning isn't great. Walls & ceiling are very thin if noise bothers you or someones loud. Didn't do a white glove test but room seemed clean. Towels are decent quality. They are about 15-20 minutes from Disneyland, not the 10 stated.

Improve the shower operation and the bathroom door . Having water in the lobby would be great.

One of the beds had a little worm like maggot in it, spiders and moths were climbing out of the bathroom vent. Stains on the beds. If cleanliness is an issue for you, I would book somewhere else.

The staff was super nice we were upgraded complimentary due to the occupancy needs of the hotel which made our daughter’s birthday even better. I will say though that the bathroom was a bit left and the curtain on the inside was disgusting and covered in brown stains. There was also a dead bug that was killed on the wall between the mirror and the shower it looked like it was painted over. Also when the room was refreshed the beds were not done but new towels were delivered. Other than that it was a nice stay. It was the perfect distance from knotts and Disneyland for us. We will be back again soon.

I had to wait for long periods time to receive the key card due to key card system not working

With a new travel ball team, I find myself having to stay in a lot more hotels than usual. With that being said I needed to look away from my normal chains and find more affordable accommodations. The Good Night Inn was VERY reasonably priced, close to everything, clean, quiet, and the lady at the front desk was very nice. Will stay again if we play another tournament in Beuna Park.

the water turn brown while I'm showering. talked to the front desk about it and told me that city is doing some flushing but didn't bother to give us notice. I wanted to speak to the manager but told me he is not there and to call him the following day, I did but every time I call he is not available.

The room doesn't look like the photos. There were no extra blankets for the bed. We were cold at night. In the morning, I bathed my children, and when I went to bathe myself, the shower and bath water turned brown. I called reception, but they didn't answer. My concern is that I bathed my children with traces of dirty water.

The lady checkin us in was irritated by us. She had little patience and must hate her job. Beeds suck and there are no amenities. No microwave, no breakfast, nothing.....however room was clean and there was parking. Thats it!!

The hotel was clean and in well maintained condition. Staff was pleasant and welcoming at both check in and check out. We stayed two nights and housekeeping switched out our towels but did not make up the beds. It’s always nice to come back to a nice made bed and if they were already there just take the extra 3 minutes to make the bed would be nice.

In addition, there was no conditioner provided in the bathroom at all. Lastly, the bed sheets appear to be very old. The fabric is heavily pilled, making the sheets rough and unpleasant to sleep on.

The location was close to where I need to be. Parking was included. Room was clean, but very basic. Since I was out all day, just need a place to rest. The bed could use an upgrade.

This was my second stay at this hotel. The room was clean and there were no bugs of any kind to be seen in the room, which is my major concern. There are spiders and spiderwebs on the outside railings though. I love that it is close to a Target, Porto’s, and amusement parks. Free parking is a big plus. An overall good value and experience.

The location was good, close to Knotts Berry Farm and close to restaurants and such. Other than that, it wasn’t great. we had to switch rooms within the first 30 minutes of arriving as there seemed to be feces on the toilet seat of our room. We kept finding long black hairs in our room, none of the people staying in the room have dark hair. The carpet in the room was gross. The rooms were TINY. We had to replace our room key multiple times as it would stop opening our room door. The front desk staff always seemed to be inconvenienced with our asking for a new room key that would actually work. There are probably much better options at the same price point.

Parking is easy and staff are courteous and friendly,they're pretty much what's admirable in this establishment. Apart from that, the elevator is dirty and not secured. The common area outside the room is dirty. The telephone inside the room is broken. Furnitures are dusty. Security is the biggest concern.

Stayed for 4 nights Thanksgiving week. Room is small bit enough for 2 people. Employees were okay, could have been friendlier. Area was busy but safe and surprisingly quiet. Lots of parking. No safe, no microwave, no closet. Bed was too firm while pillows were too flimsy. 30 minutes from LAX. 15 minutes from Disneyland. Fridge worked. AC/ heat worked. Decent amount of channels on tv. Also no breakfast. Was clean. Adding a few amenities would get a higher rating, but overall average.

The room was very clean. The beds were spotless. Bathroom also very clean. Only down was the ice bucket was kinda gross and there was no soap at the sink. We had to use the body soap that is attached to the shower to wash our hands.

Room was incredibly dirty. Corners were nasty, light switches grimy, hair everywhere, including on the bathroom floor and a long hair on the sheets when we pulled the covers back. The remote was even sticky. I was traveling with my young daughter and we couldn’t wait to check out. There were people in their car smoking right outside our room so the smell of weed was drifting in.

When we arrived the bed looked unmade.. They put sheets down and then a blanket and then a fitted sheet on top??? There were long black hairs in the shower and the bathroom floor..We left and came back at 10 pm, the room was not made up.. No clean towels. We questioned it at the front desk and they said there is no room cleaning unless you stay over 3 nights. They will give you towels and empty the trash.. which didn’t happen. The staff was not very friendly.. Smile and be welcoming.. It’s really not that hard! We were locked out the first night and had to go to the office.. No explanation or apology..😠

Everything was good I just did not realize they did not have room service, so keep this in mind if this is something you’re looking for.

Basic hotel/motel room. Very clean, safe, parked right in front of our room. Mini fridge in the room, microwave downstairs in the lobby. Property well kept. Most importantly felt clean, well kept, and safe. Paul’s Place diner in same parking lot. Right off the freeway and lots of dining options near by. Target right down the street too in case you forgot something.

The front desk let me check in very early for a $28 fee which isn't bad.. This is close to just about every food option. The AC worked good and the room was very clean. Stayed here for a Disneyland trip and it was a 12 minute drive. I would stay here again.

Parking did get full towards the end of the day but was never without a spot. Staff was not super personable; monotone and straight to the point. The room was clean and incredibly simple; it did the job. Did have to deal with a few spiders. AC was great but a tad loud.

Room was basic but the shower was terrible.

As far as motels go, I was quite pleased with this property. While in need of some updating, the room as was clean and the amenities were as described. Lots of parking and it was free which is aways a bonus. Easy access to main highways. All in all a solid choice if you're just needing a simple and clean place to sleep at night.

Second night when we pull in around 9 pm there was a homeless person sleeping in front of Good Nite inn sign. The bed was very hard and when you laid down you rolled to the middle of the bed The housekeeper was very friendly with us

I've stayed here before without any issues, but this visit was disappointing. The rug felt unclean, and there were mosquitoes in the room. We checked in late, and before going to bed, my daughter noticed an ant in the bathroom—we didn’t think much of it at the time. However, by the next morning, the bathroom was filled with ants. We got ready and checked out, and when we mentioned the issue to the woman at the front desk, she seemed indifferent and only said she would notify maintenance. My husband woke up with mosquito bites in the morning. I managed to kill one mosquito, but there was another I couldn’t reach. So if you’re staying in room 145, just be aware.

Clean room 15 min drive to Disneyland

The place needs a bit of maintenance. There were some spider webs and a little dust around. The shower didn’t work efficiently, and the door seemed to need fixing. Also noticed a stain on the ironing board. With a bit of upkeep, it could be much better.

The process of checking in was so easy and staff was Incredible. The room was clean and it had all the basic needs. My review is based on an overnight stay. Room did had a smell, but you should expect it because windows are not open and AC is turned on so humidity plays a role there. There is plenty parking space and it is included in your stay. Some hotels, Inns, Motels near have limited parking and they charge parking. You do have a McDonalds near, gas stations, the freeway is near.

The fridge was nice, I didn’t read if it had one as I was booking it but we had some dessert from knotts and luckily we were able to preserve it til we traveled back home. I would stay here again and hopefully be able to use the pool and stay longer than 8 hours.

This was a great stay for the price! The area was not bad at all and I will definitely be staying here again for my next Knotts trip. The hotel room was clean and the staff was so friendly.

Overall pretty good. The only issue was the position of the showerhead made water leak over the side of the bathtub and onto the floor.

Carpet cleaning during peak days was just plain inconvenient. We were there to go to events at night so therefor sleeping in before and waking up late were our intentions. Couldn’t do that this trip no warning before booking about carpet cleaning so it really upset us

I love this place! Been staying here off and on for the last 10 plus years. Nice, clean and safe area right down the street from Knotts. Only 10-15 minutes from Disneyland. Next door to a McDonalds for quick and easy breakfast. Super nice employees, clean rooms, easy and roomy Free parking. Big rooms with all amenities listed. Great cancellation policy. Comfy mattresses with perfectly sized pillows (not those stupid fat ones that give you a neck ache). Super cold fridge and AC. Lots of quick flowing hot water for sink and showers. Quiet property even at 1am-4am when I got to the property from Vegas and back from a late night at Disneyland. Love the area and love the property. I’ve always felt very safe here, which is super important to me since I’m a solo female coming and going at all hours of the night. Truly can’t say enough good things about this place. Hate giving up my secret Disney property hack, but after 10 years of hogging it, I feel like I should share the love with all those solo travelers that are safety and budget conscious.

It was okay, we went to Knott’s & didn’t want to drive home so decided to stay for the night. Room was okay, just had a potato chip from previous guest on table and there was a hair in the restroom wall. Other than that it was good.

Extremely bare minimum motel. I don't usually book rooms with an outside door, but i needed to save money. Staff was present but not welcoming or friendly. Room not very clean, no bathroom counter nor vent in the bathroom. Room door stuck and was difficult to get into. Neighborhood was a little sus, but pretty quiet. I wont stay here again.

Good Nite Inn was recommended by sister, and did not disappoint. It is not a fancy place (like high end hotels) but I would definitely stay there again. Chances are that many people staying there are in the area to visit local attractions and are not spending a lot of time in their room, but istill want a comfortable and safe place to stay at the end of the day. The staff is very courteous.

What I liked most was how comfortable the rooms were for the price. The bed was cozy but the pillows were flat, and I appreciated that the property felt safe and quiet at night. Parking was also convenient, which made things stress-free. The only thing I didn’t love was that the walls are a little thin, so you can hear some noise if neighbors are loud. Also, thd TV was an LG but was blocked off from using netflix etc while the rooms are comfortable, they’re pretty basic—don’t expect a lot of extras.

Staff is really friendly and accommodating. I found hairs on my bed and a some trash items left over from the previous occupants. I didn’t trust the cleanliness of the room after that.

Check in was quick and easy. Didn’t have to wait more than a few seconds for the attendant to come out once I rang the bell, so that was great. We were a little sketched out by a truck that was in the parking lot, dude sitting in it when we first got there, then later it looked like maybe he was taking a parking lot shower? We were on the top floor. Soon as we walked in the hallway, it smelled like musty old smoke. The room was clean enough, basic. But the smell had me as soon as we walked in the door. Again, good enough for one quick night. The shower was horrible tho. Tub clogged up bc most of the water was still coming out of the faucet instead of the shower head. That was disappointing. I had hotels.com credit, so the price I paid was worth it. But I wouldn’t stay here again unless there was no other option within 50mi.

Basic, nothing special. Bed was fairly comfortable.

A request was made if we could be next or near our other family all ready booked ahead but was not accommodated. We noticed rooms available on the first floor where our other party had checked in but were told that since we booked via Expedia, they couldn’t change my room. Otherwise, the place was near restaurants and clean.

We stayed 6 days . It was great staff was friendly, easy check in and out . Onsite parking was great and. I would recommend it to anyone who is in the area. We have stayed here many times over the years.

Key card was messing up on whole trip my family had 3 rooms and we all had constant problems with key cards!! My son was in my daughter’s room came back to our room and his key wouldn’t work. He goes to front office and they take his key!! They said his name wasn’t on list but his name is the same as mine!! Ridiculous hotel has key issues then they treat your guest like that.

Pictures and description of the hotel were not the same. From the outside the hotel looks okay. Soon as we get in the elevator to get up to our room everything changed. Elevator smelled like piss and looked like it’s never been cleaned. Hallway carpet stunk like one too many house parties. To top it off our door wouldn’t shut or lock. It was unknowingly left unlocked all night. Bed sheets were filthy. Beds had no comforters and the AC stank like that filter hasn’t been cleaned in a few decades. Staff was extremely rude and unprofessional besides the maintenance man. The man working the counter was offended I told him the hotel was awful. Respectfully, this is not news to you, sir! Not expecting a 5 star resort but basic safety and cleanliness is not negotiable!

There is plenty of parking and dining options in the same shopping center as hotel. The room was large & very clean including the bathroom. Beds/pillows were comfortable as well. For the price this hotel is a great option, we would definitely stay here again.
