Hilton San Francisco Airport Bayfront

The room is clean, the staff are nice and the food in the restaurant is excellent. However the shuttle driver was not polite and his behavior was not professional. This was the only bad experience we had.

Breakfast was way too expensive, also the courtesy shuttle sometimes took a lot longer than 30 min, traffic maybe?

Everything was great except, parking was $40 overnight which was not advertised and shower drain was broken.

Additionally, housekeeping adjusted the thermostat while servicing the room and left it set to a much warmer temperature. When we returned, the room was uncomfortably hot, and the afternoon sun was shining directly through the windows, making the temperature even more uncomfortable. After being out for the day, we expected to return to a comfortable room, not one that required additional time to cool down. While these may seem like small details individually, they reflect a lack of attention to guest comfort and basic housekeeping standards. As someone who stays at Hilton properties regularly, I expected a better experience.

Would recommend for family.

Short drive into SF city. Parking is an arm and a leg. Prepare for the windiest walk from lobby to parking lot. Love that we were on the 14th floor facing the bay. The view of the sunset from our room on our 1st night was phenomenal. Unfortunately, on the 2nd night it was super cloudy. Room is clean and access to electrical sockets and charging ports were plentiful!

Room was clean and smelling fresh. Parking was non problematic and on premises. The only hiccup was the bathroom specifically the bathtub area that could benefit from some more attention, its a Hilton after all.

Excellent value for money. Nothing fancy, but the hotel is clean, has a decent restaurant and is only short commute away from the airport with the free hotel shuttle. Perfect for an in-between night.

Very clean and spacious room

The bathroom floor was very dirty and looked like it had not been mopped for awhile. Otherwise the room was comfortable and clean. The restaurant food was very good and the breakfast was excellent.

Our troop was spacious and clean. The bed was very comfortable too. The restaurant served delicious food, and the waitstaff were friendly and efficient.

I had high expectations I guess. My last stay I was greeted w/ a warm cookie. This time I felt like an imposition. I had continual problems with my door b/c the battery was dead & eventually had to be changed. Not a warm fuzzy feeling not being able to hv repeated problems w/ the door. Things happen, I understand, so my stay was -ok.

Super easy and convenient from the airport. Love that they offered airport shuttle. I arrived earlier than check-in and they were able to get me right away. They also extended my check out complementary for an extra hour. Which was the perfect timing for me to go back to my flight. Staff was super friendly and professional would recommend 10 out of 10.

The front desk staff were very kind, welcoming, and helpful throughout our stay. The rooms were clean, and my overall experience was excellent! I will definitely be booking here again the next time I’m in San Francisco.

Restaurant was slow slow slow. I left after 10 minutes of just sitting there. Not much else around. So Uber Eats is the option. Hotel rooms nice though and shuttle quick.

Everything was great and the cleaning staff was very friendly and accommodating. I’ll definitely stay again soon.

The room was not what I’m normally used to from this property! They are usually good at cleaning the rooms prior to checking in. This time was a mess. Not happy at all!

We reserved a room with double beds. When we arrived at midnight they didn't have the room available. They gave us a room that was like a kitchen and have to sleep in roll over beds what was something we didn't pay for. We agreed because we were so tired and need to go to rest because we needed to wake up really early to drive to our final destination. We are from Texas. We have stayed several times in Hilton hotels and always have had good experiences. Their excuse was that they over sell the rooms. I don't get it if we already have a reservation why they do that. I was not satisfied at all.

The hotel was in a great location. Clean and well maintained. I was there for 3 nights. I felt the fee for parking and the breakfast was excessive.

Did not sleep at all, however. Someone was knocking, banging, and shouting all night. Apparently, his partner locked him out. Other guests were trying to resolved the issue, to no avail. This lasted from midnight to 5am, at which point I just checked out and left.

Beautiful location almost on the water of the bay. Qiuet (didn't hear any plane noises). Loved the walking path around the little inlet directly behind the hotel -- perfect for a morning jog. Furniture and fixtures in the room and bathroom very attractive and functional. Covered parking garage very convenient, if a little pricey ($40 a night).

Took me 1.5 hours to check in. Line was literally out the door to parking lot with only 1 person working.

When booking, the site said there was a free breakfast buffet included. That was not true, I ended up paying an extra 70 dollars or so for two people. We had started eating before finding out that it was indeed not included.

One of the worst places I stay!! Acutely I left it was so bad.

Nice employees, very helpful and kind. This was the loudest room ever and we were on a high floor! We could hear the trucks outside and the planes. The air conditioning seemed to turn on over 30-40 minutes. We arrived late, and had to leave relatively early. We needed sleep and didn’t get it.

There was a small cockroach in my bathroom. I immediately went downstairs and no questions asked, the front desk was friendly and gave me a new room in a different floor. It’s a very dated property, I’d consider other properties.

This place is perfect for a short stay of one or two nights while you're on your way to another city. It's conveniently located near the airport. The beds are clean and comfortable, even though it's not a luxury hotel. The bathrooms are decent. The carpets, however, are a bit worn out and dusty. You can enjoy some comfort food and drinks at the restaurant and bar. The staff is welcoming and ready to assist you.

The hotel and room were generally clean and nicely provisioned. Some mold on the shower ceiling was a little off putting. Also, the shower drain required you to manually manipulate it to be open enough to keep water from accumulating which nobody wants to do in a hotel room. Free bottles of water were provided in the room which is great for weary travelers arriving late at night. Light on the towels in the room (I think stocking 4 in a room with 2 people is appropriate, not 2). The shuttle service to and from the airport was really convenient. The checking in process was a little slow. There was only one desk attendant for a bit despite the arrival of a group from the shuttle.

The hotel has a very gracious entrance which is well planned. My first impression was of relaxed refinement and welcoming comfort. The staff is well trained, friendly and efficient. The restaurant has delicious food and the staff works seamlessly to deliver and attend to every request. The room was above average in all regards. Hilton is my choice.

Hard to hire sincere people but they have found great front desk staff, housekeeping & maintenance

When we checked in and went to our room, the hallway smelled heavily of cigarette smoke, which is not allowed. Staff and manager immediately changed our room without any issue. GREAT customer service!!

I wish breakfast could offer more selection.

The buffet was very expensive and the selection was limited. Buffet was the only thing on the menu so if you wanted a light breakfast you are still charged the full amount for the buffet.

While the hotel is conveniently situated for trips into downtown SF and south toward Palo Alto, the property itself is showing its age and feels quite dated. I experienced a plumbing issue during my first shower that required a maintenance visit. On the plus side, the gym is well-maintained and fully equipped with everything needed for a solid workout

The hotel was excellent, however when we arrived, my wife stepped out of our SUV and severely tweaked her knee. We spent the evening in the hospital ER room and had to return home. We didn't get to experience the room or the other hotel amenities unfortunately.

Clean Old, but it was clean. So I liked it. But my kids didnt like the tv was too old and couldnt watch youtube on tv.

We stayed one night to catch an early flight. Only feedback is the sign that is posted outside to guide to the parking garage needs a landscape light. It was very hard to see the entrance to the garage, we missed it twice.

This hotel is not up to Hilton standards. It is worn and tired. The upholstery in our room was stained. The shower grout was stained. The only good thing about this hotel is the shuttle service to the airport.

Other than the shower fixture not working properly and the tub needs replacing or stay was great. Especially the staff. They went the extra mile to help me with some important paperwork that I needed scanned and made sure our long term parking was taken care of.

I was on wheel chair and had helper plus husband but the wait was too long at 11:30 pm so we took an Uber. Was told it came in 5 minutes after we left. The transfer back was easy from hotel.

The place is better looking than it was a few years ago, but it still isn't the freshest place in the world. Public areas regularly smell nasty... I had the smell of smoke in the hall by the stairwell which undoubtedly was coming up from someone smoking downstairs. It will do, but its sort of depressing. Hilton does just enough here but no more.

I stay here 2-4 nights a WEEK. They canceled my booking, then had to redo it. My toilet seat has broken. And the bathroom sink / tub was damaged.

The bed was huge and comfortable and I slept like a rock after a long international flight. One critique: the bathroom had hair on the floor and so many paint stains that it looked dirty. I was so tired that I didn't feel the need to complain, but it does affect my rating.

Restaurant was okay. Fitness center was adequate Parking is a scam. I was ripped off an extra $40. I paid $80 to park for one night!!!!!! They said it was $40 a night and the key card would work to open gate. The automatically deduct $40 from your bill like room service. But when I was trying to leave the keycard would not work! So to get out I paid using my debit card. I was not reimbursed and the staff didn’t care because their parking lot is considered “airport parking” and owned by the city. That’s why parking here is a pain. Many of the cars in their lot are not hotel guests because it is considered “airport parking”

Bed was dirty and someone tried to get into my room in the middle of the night. Front desk did not call to check in on me or let me know if I was safe. I had to call them after waiting 10 mins. They just said it was just someone that had the wrong room. Not a good experience. Wouldn’t go back!

Nice room, and affordable compared to the hotels inside S.F. The breakfast Buffett is kinda mid. The bar is nice. Just reserve with parking included or they’ll charge you $40 a night.

Great value for the money. While the property is older the rooms are well kept and the mattress/pillows/sheets top notch. The communication from the front desk above and beyond… reaching out to you to make sure everything is ok. The airport shuttle service is efficient. Would definitely stay again if need arose. Would have rated at top but one complaint is the noisy fans in the room HVAC units. Fortunately you can just turn it off.

Wasn't expecting luxury, room I was in was not impressive. Defective smoke alarm that had a very bright white light that flashed all night. The bathroom was old and appeared just patched up after patched up. While self park is available, parking is $40 a night.

Location was good, the hotel was nice and clean. The reason for a 4 star instead of 5 is that parking was $40/day and shuttle only goes to the airport and not downtown Burlingame.

Best SFO airport hotel yet. We've stayed at many of the SFO hotels, and we have a new favorite. The hospitality and amenities were excellent. Our room was spacious, comfortable, and clean. My son enjoyed the pool. We all enjoyed the restaurant. We'll be back!

Was our first stay at this hotel. When we walked in the “manager” Ryan was rude to my wife because she didn’t see a fee in the fine print. Then later Saturday night while sleeping there were roaches crawling around on the table next tot he bed when I got up to use the bathroom. We called downstairs to the front desk and Eric immediately changed our room. Sunday morning we noticed two charges on my account do holds for the hotel and Maria was very pleasant and helped us with the “extra” fee they were holding which she couldn’t see why they were holding it. The manager (Ryan) never came out to talk to us about it. I honestly hope you all get Ryan some “manager training “ASAP!!!! Because we will never be back there again. I wish I could send the picture of the roach we were able to kill

Room was clean and staff was great during check in. However, I requested some help with our luggage to be wheeled out from the lobby to the shuttle out front since it was 4am and my husband and I were each carrying our sleeping babies and the staff member asked me to take our bags ourselves. Could’ve really used some help!

Staff was friendly and helpful, accommodating to the max, there was an issue with my tv upon arrival and they had it fixed first thing the following morning.

Showers are a little dated and tired and you can hear the aircraft more than I have in other airport hotels. Though it was minor.

We just got off a long haul flight from Australia. Our room was ready and we were allowed to have early access to our room. The check in and staff were professional, fast and kind. The driver of the shuttle helped us with trolleys for our bags.

Free shuttle to the airport six minute drive very convenient large parking lot next-door that they own. You can park there for months at a time very cheap.

The hotel needs to be updated. I'm not a particular person but there was a hole in the carpet about twice the size of my door key, there were scuff marks, furniture was worn, the noise from freeway and planes was much louder than I expected, there was no allowance for a later/earlier check out/in (other local hotels have allowed me to check in 3 hours early for no extra cost), I had booked a room with grab bars etc for my disability but no one asked if I needed any assistance with my luggage (solo traveller), long delays checking in. Bed was comfortable.

The soundproofing in the room wasn't very good. I could still hear noise from the next room at midnight. The smoke detector on the ceiling frequently flashed, which disturbed my sleep. There was no water, coffee, or tea in the hotel lobby, so there was nothing to drink while waiting.

Room was clean, check in was smooth, the shuttle service is great runs from 4a until 1230a so you will have a ride to airport, worth it cause you dont pay expensive taxi/uber, the gym was decent up to 75lb dumb bells and some cardio machines, the wifi was ok when connected but I was in room 416, it was slow at times but if you dont need it for business its fine, looks. a little older building and carpet but still was clean, I recommend

This is a great hotel if you need to stay by the airport. A beautiful walking area along the bay where you can watch planes takeoff and land. A nice restaurant gigi’s for breakfast or lunch and Kinkades for dinner.

Room was clean. Smelled like chemicals, so it was clean, glad the window could open a tiny bit to get some fresh air. Staff was very friendly and kind. Attentive. I swear room service sprinted to bring requests to the room. You have to request a refridgerator and it will be delivered to the room.

One of the waiter staff older Asian man was so rude he kept watching over my daughters and actually bright the bill to my 15 yr old daughter. I explained that we were comped on the breakfast for the kids and he yelled at me like no no no I told him to go to the front desk and check but he refused then the manager came to help but that was a horrible experience for my 4 daughters.

The room was not clean and everything looked old.

The breakfast was exactly the same every single day, with no variety, which became very tiring during a multi-night stay. Hotel charge $45 per night for parking, which feels extremely overpriced. The room itself looked old and outdated, and even the double bed felt small and uncomfortable.

I stayed here for 3 nights recently during my San Francisco visit. Hotel is really clean and I really enjoyed our stay. Staff was super friendly and breakfast buffet was very good with variety of options. Airport shuttle was a bonus!

The stay here was pleasant. The rooms were clean, beds were comfortable and it was an easy 10 min drive from the airport. The only thing of note was that the bathrooms are outdated, however this wasn't a deal breaker as they were clean and amenities were functional. It was perfect for the overnight stay we required.

Pool was extremely cold. So much for booking an indoor pool. Room was outdated and bathroom was not kept up. Will reach out to the GM and Expedia.

Old hotel. Hotel rooms is old . No Netflix on TV.. expensive parking fee.

Shuttle was ready, convenient, and on time. Hotel was clean and modern but without any character. Bed was comfortable, and the shuttle to SFO was on time for a 430am trip to the airport. However, the Hilton was one of many other similar hotels in that area, and there is nothing there except hotels and maybe an office block or two. I didn't try the breakfast (too early) but at $31 for breakfast I wouldn't have wanted to anyway. Parking was overpriced at $40, so I also avoided that.

Old, tacky and outdated. Room looked out over air conditioners but paid more for view. Tub held water while showering. Someone else’s hair in bathroom. Duvet too short, only reached my stomach. Couldn’t hear tv while air running. Dirty coffee maker. Breakfast extra? Resort fees? Who are they kidding. Soap and hair products bottles BOLTED to the wall!

The room was clean, but in need of updating. The bed was super comfy. The friendliness of staff however ranged from disengaged to rude.

I really like staying at the Bayfront Hilton,..however this last stay the area around the coffeemaker wasn’t clean. I let the front desk know. No biggie,..I’ll definitely book this Hilton again.. thumbs up..👍👍

My husband and I stayed overnight here prior to our morning flight out. We found this hotel a notch above the typical airport hotel. For one, their restaurant where we had dinner was surprisingly good. Service was excellent. Their buffet breakfast was also better than the usual continental buffets in some hotels. We'll definitely return next time we're in SFO.

8.5/10. I enjoyed my stay at this hotel. Although, much of its facilities and outlook resemble the 1990s, this is not a negative, since everthing was well maintained. Furthermore, this also meant that rather than plastic and cheap kitsch, you will find lots of natural materials being used. For example, rooms contain lots of wood, even the elevators did, and bath tubs and shower were all in stone, in perfect working order and very clean. Kingsize bed was comfortable, hotel shuttle service was ran at regular intervals and easy to locate at the airport. Food in the restaurant was better than expected, and in fact cheaper than in the nearby Kincaid's Bayhouse restaurant. Room cleaning staff was effective, discrete, and very polite. The hotel is near a trail along the water of the San Francisco Bay, which allows for welcome relaxing strolls. The room deal on offer was better than in other nearby top hotels, such as the Hyatt. And yet, although I can wholeheartedly recommend this hotel, I am unable to award a score of 9/10 or higher. Why is that ? Three reasons. Firstly, I found the $250 hold they place on your credit card on top of the fee for your entire hotel stay excessive. The price I paid did not match the advertised fee on Travelocity, with an additional hefty San Francisco destination fee on top of it, not once, but daily. Given that most of these airport hotels are remote from city centers, the choice of food on offer at the snack shop next to the reception desk is totall

I had such a wonderful stay at the Hilton in San Francisco! The front desk team was amazing — I arrived early around 8 a.m., and even though check-in wasn’t until noon, they were kind enough to let me check in early. I was given a double bed instead of a king, which was perfectly fine and very comfortable. The room was clean, cozy, and had a beautiful view. The only small things I noticed were that there wasn’t a pen or notepad in the room, and it would’ve been nice to have a microwave to warm up food. They did have a refrigerator though, which was helpful. I loved the gym — it was clean and well-equipped. I also enjoyed breakfast twice during my stay, and everyone I met was friendly, professional, and kind. Overall, I had an excellent experience and would definitely stay here again!

The room was very basic and felt cheap. The bathroom tile grout was filthy and the drain in the tub was literally hanging out, like someone had yanked it out from inside the tub.

Tub had very slow drain; can't imagine this went unnoticed when room was cleaned between guests. It was quite an inconvenience with a 2-night stay. Not enough towels for 2 female guests. Linens were great. Pillows fantastic. Lots of counter space to spread out. But worst was a filthy, over-used side chair. It was stained and worn out. Really detracted from an otherwise nicely appointed room. Could have used extra towels to cover that up

I am truly disgusted by my experience. I got food poisoning on the second night, which completely ruined my stay. The staff seemed to prioritize airline employees over paying guests — they were seated first for dinner, and the buffet breakfast served the same Chinese food every morning. My family and I were rushed out of the dining area while we were still eating, which was incredibly disrespectful. So many things went wrong during my stay that it’s hard to list them all. As someone currently battling cancer, I was simply looking forward to a peaceful, comfortable stay at the Hilton — but that’s not what I received. When I brought my concerns to management, I felt completely dismissed, as though my situation wasn’t taken seriously. This was by far the worst Hilton experience I’ve ever had.

The shower looks a little rough, the drain plug was rusted.. We didn’t end up showering cause it was only one night.

"QUEEN" bed not much bigger then a full! Size! Bed was hard the pillows were terrible! No fridge! Functionality of room was not great! The A/C unit 3 foot from bed louder then a Harley motorcycle. Room had a dirty odor ! On the 13 floor!!

Excellent facility except for restaurant is a very overpriced burgers and fries joint. Service from the front desk in the early morning is terrible; help are rude and lazy. Bell hops don't start till 7am even though many travelers have much earlier flights. Overall, I would not stay at the Hilton again but will return to my reliable Westin.

My deposit was never refunded even after two weeks despite I called several times. I was told a manager would call me back but no one ever did. I had to dispute with my credit company

Essy to use shuttle service and good if you just need a place to lay your head between flights. The place maybe could use an update and the room had a funky smell but otherwise can't speak any more highly of the staff

Paid parking in a off airport hotel and even they charged for coffee

My journey began in St. Louis and I drove 2800 miles in 4 days. The respect and kindness shown by the staff was something that I had not experienced anywhere else during this trip across the country, and to be honest I wasn't expecting much once I arrived. They were accomodating, pleasant, and genuine...which are all qualities which sweem to be in short supply these days.

The Airport shuttle was punctual and took us right to the terminal in plenty of time to catch our flight. The room was clean and the bed comfortable. AC worked great. The location is out of the way (like many other airport hotels in the vicinity) if you wanted to check out local restaurants, but the hotel bar featured good draft beer including well known IPA's and acceptable dinners. The wine choices, for a CA venue, were not so great. But overall, couldn't ask for a better place to stay the night before an early flight.

Stayed at a suite which had a very noisy aircon unit and the pillows smelled. The hotel is old but it should not feel dirty. The carpets are kind of dingy. The room is big but really so much waste of space. The disparity on the breakfast price was also another challenge. $13 for continental and $31 for the buffet, how about maybe offer a ala carte if someone wants eggs. The staff was great, i needed a toothpaste and they brought it over and the breakfast staff was really awesome. I will not book this hotel again. I will try another place. I booked it was Hilton. It was a let down.

Liked how close the hotel is to the airport. Checked into room 1101 which appeared clean until the sheets were pulled back on one of the two beds. This bed was completely wet and smelled of urine. This is very unhygienic and disgusting!!! I am so glad my child did not get into this bed(I did unfortunately). Housekeeping should be changing sheets after each check out regardless if it appears clean or not!!! We contacted the front desk spoke to Erik and explained what was going on he was able to move us to a different room(clean beds this time). We were very appreciative with his quick actions to get us moved.
