Great stay

The hotel was basically fine, but it was rather ridiculous that they did not include a complimentary bottle of water (except for Bon Voy members). The fact that they charged $7 for a bottle of water was quite insulting. I’ve stayed at hotels in many countries, and complimentary bottles of water are the norm. Please do better.

Was the perfect place to extend our layover and enjoy San Fran. Loved the shuttle service to and from the airport. Super convenient.

Now it’s a buffet like any other average hotel. Doesn’t do justice to Marriott brand or the cost of stay. Management should actively seek feedback about this change.

Clean room, bed were ok, good breakfast love that you can walk around and get some exercise in before or after a flight. Conveniently located if you are flying in or leaving San Francisco.

This place will charge you for everything, complimentary breakfast was not complimentary. They gave you a voucher and then you paid the difference. I paid almost 1K for just two nights.

great place for a Excellent airport hotel with a prime waterfront location. The rooms are very comfortable, clean, and offer beautiful views from inside and outside the hotel. The facilities are very nice, and I especially liked the gym. The location is perfect if you have a layover, an early morning flight, or simply want to stay close to San Francisco Airport. Even though you can enjoy watching the planes landing and taking off, there was no noise at all, which made the stay very relaxing. The waterfront area is beautiful for walking or sitting outside by the water. Breakfast was okay, but overall this is a very nice hotel with a special location and great convenience near the airport.

The room, staff, and lobby were all very clean and nice. However, the breakfast options for the $29.00 buffet could be improved with more variety of food and options

The property is conveniently located only a few miles from SFO. It has beautiful views of the bay. Parking fee is high on top of all the other fees and taxes. I would stay again, just for the convenience.

The room was neat and clean. They could use more plugs for charging electronic equipment.

Just a quick in and out for a layover but got the job done well and efficiently. Probably has a lot more amenities than we were able to use.

Everything was awesome! Howard was so awesome to let us check-in 4 hours early. I flew into San Fransisco Thursday afternoon, rented a car and drove to USCG TRACEN Petaluma. I despised every second of that drive getting out of San Fransisco until just before I arrived in Petaluma where I stayed the night. Left Petaluma yesterday morning with my Coastie kid and one of his shipmates and booked a room at the Marriot where online showed to be super close to the airport with consistent 15 minute shuttle service to and from the airport. Dropped his shipmate off at the airport then headed to the Marriot to see when was the earliest we could check in. Since we last minute decided to drive his shipmate to the airport instead of slowly exploring our way back towards the Marriot, I wanted to drop the rental car back off early because i had absolutely no desire to drive around San Fransisco ever again, but wanted a secure place to store my Coastie Kids 4 dufflebags so we could go hop on a train and go explore. I know circumstances can always differ, but they very kindly let us check in 4 hours early at no additional charge at all. Id booked a bayfront view room and we got a bayfront view room. Everything was so pretty, so clean so opening and inviting. Everyone was so helpful and so nice. Shuttle to and from airport was so fast and convenient. Dinner was amazing. My Coastie kid loved the gym. Everything was so nice so easy so perfect 😊

Very old property condition, no bottled water in the room included in already expensive price I paid for the Marriott brand.

The elevator is slow. (Old elevator). The check in process is slow compared to the hotels around the world in the same price range.

Room and bed was very uncomfortable. Room was quite warm despite multiple thermostats adjustments. And the bed sheets appeared to be too small for the bed, coming untucked around the border of the mattress.

The best part is the proximity to the SFO and the free shuttle service. The breakfast was quite decent but at a stiff price. The hotel room gave me the vibe of a warehouse, very sterile and industrial. The room was big but had a lot of dead space. The fixtures were of poor quality and not properly installed. Overall, it was underwhelming given how much we paid for the stay.

Outlets needed to be fixed-we couldn’t plug anything in—the plug would just fall out. Also heard a ton of loud banging noises nextdoor at night -sounded like someone was trying to break in.

Busy airport hotel. Lines were longer than I imagined during check in. Nice lobby bar area with good drinks and yummy food. Room was comfortable, clean, and quiet. They also offered an airport shuttle that runs early hours. I appreciated not having to call an Uber and overpay.

I don’t understand why I need to pay to use their WiFi as it’s much needed for everyone. I don’t have to pay even I go and stay in 3 stars hotel. That makes me rethink to stay there again.

Room view was not I expected no real blankets pillows overstuffed toilet was loose and was charged extra with out that being transparent.

This use to be my fav hotel in SF. They took out the candy stand at the entrance, they took out the amazing steakhouse, the redid the bar which is ugly and took out the cute seating they use to have. It use to have a ton of character, now it's just an over priced airport hotel.

The view is excellent, loved the lounge and seating area, Very clean, kind staff. The breakfast was a little pricey for what you get and honestly the room was a lot smaller than I expected.

Great option if you need to be near the airport. Only issue was that our room was a country mile away from the elevator. If you have mobility issues, be sure to request a closer room.

I was surprised by the $48 overnight parking charge and $36 amenity charge. When I prepaid, I was not aware of these add-ons.

We were supposed to have a king bed, we got all the way to the 10th floor and she gave us two beds. My husband was paralyzed before and has a hard time walking, I wasn’t going all the way back to the reception to have her fix it. Other than that great hotel, easy ride to the airport. Nice staff, good food!

Hotel is beautiful, check in was very fast, room was niece. Didn’t appreciate the 2+ hours of drilling. Couldn’t relax in our room or the lobby. Very disappointing and annoying. We were tired from a 15+ hour flight and then flight cancellation. Really need a place to rest and catch up. Didn’t happen.

Clean and quiet rooms. Only issue is I had a $15 credit and they said to charge things to the room to use it. We had dinner and charged it to the room and when I checked out the lady said it was on there but then I got the receipt emailed and it wasn’t. I messaged them and never heard anything back

The room was ok, one of coffee lids was not clean, and was spotted some brown mark. (May be used one) window was not clean. However, we had a pleasant experience at the check in counter, and the staff was very helpful, friendly, and professional.

Airport Shuttle was easy to find if you miss the signs "Hotel Shuttles" by asking airport information virtual call. They show the map if you are still confused. Nice view when eating at the Hotel Restaurant. We only ate there during Happy Hour and had a nice selection of food and drinks.

This location is just perfect for travellers departing from SFO, nice and clean, wonderful views on the bay.

Very enjoyable, especially watching the planes take off and land over the water while dining. Only complaint is use of lots of plastic and styrofoam going into the landfill.

Perfect comfort delicious and easy stop. Clean with very helpful staff. This was our pit stop between Africa and drive home to NorCal. We really love how wonderful the beds were. A new best practice for my travels..loved watching the planes on the runway while enjoying a beautiful meal.

Checking in was a breeze. Went to our executive suite and it was nothing like the pictures. Pictures made it seem cute and romantic. It's a little dated, but comfy and spacious. We had a small bite to eat at the restaurant before heading into SF. Food was great and our waitress Jessica was so kind and attentive. We will definitely be back, but next time we will book a regular room with a Bayview.

The room was clean and the walk in shower was perfect for my balance issues. The mattress was saggy on one end and needs replacement. The check in person was most helpful by finding my Marriot Bonvoy number so I could have free internet. Starbucks in hotel convenient. Shuttle had courteous and helpful drivers.

The view from the dining room is great - watching jets take off and land is a great appetizer!

I stayed at the property a long time ago.

The place and location were great. Specifically the view outside. I wish there’s microwaves on Family suite for the kid food. The free breakfast is my favorite part. Hopefully next time I book I can get it again.

Very nice my flight left earlier the next morning and was able to leave my truck there while i was away.

The location was nice but the hotel needs lot if maintenance

The bathroom was in poor condition, with noticeable damage on the walls that looked as if they had deteriorated over time. I also experienced difficulties with the parking access — although the staff attempted to configure the key card, it did not work, and one night I had to leave the car outside while still being charged for a full day. Additionally, the carpets in the room were quite dirty; after only a few minutes of walking without shoes, my socks became stained. Overall, while the location was excellent, the condition of the facilities and some of the services left room for improvement.

Complementary Wi-Fi is only for the lobby. The room Wi-Fi requires a email sign up to their membership program.

I have stayed here before and it never disappoints. Location is fab. Close to airport, close to car hire, great for walking. Restaurant serves really nice food at breakfast & dinner. Bar staff & restaurant staff are friendly and helpful. Bell staff are reliable. There is a Luggage room which is helpful. Airport shuttle is reliable.

Bed and pillows very comfy. View was of SFO waterway and runways, which was fun to see. Small details need work to meet level of all else. Some electrical sockets need replacement. Too loose, or not working. Several buttons in elevators need replacement. These kinds of small details show lack of attention to details. More towels should be in rooms. Two women need more towels.

I was not informed about the additional parking fee until after I had already checked in and asked where to park. It was frustrating to find out I had to pay extra per night without any prior notice. The room was also not as advertised. I booked a room with two queen beds, but what we got were more like twin beds — definitely not what was promised. I wish this property was more upfront and transparent so that guests know what to expect. Unfortunately, this experience left a lot to be desired.

The room is small, the sink is dirty, and the tub was clogged with bandages. The beds are small and so soft! After stay, I got COVID. I suspect I got assigned a COVID room (rm 5000). So regret to stay here.

The disadvantage of this Marriott is the sheer size - it was a very long walk to my room down all sorts of twisty, turning corridors. I wasn't blown away by the restaurant / menu choices and I though the price for breakfast was a bit steep. But it's close to the airport and there is some shopping within a very short driving distance. The airport shuttle is also very convenient and I used it twice

The room doesn't have a tub rail or mat 'cause tub is very slippery . Requested a mat from the front desk and never got it. No microwave in the room 'cause the desk said it is safety issue but the other hotels have microwave in the rooms. The room that they put us in is very small.

The property was a great stay and the waterfront was a nice bonus.

The location and view from the hotel were truly excellent — definitely a highlight of our stay. However, the condition of the room was disappointing. Many of the furnishings felt outdated, and the wallpaper had noticeable stains in several areas, especially above the bathroom. We also found dust and some trash underneath the table, which suggested the room hadn’t been thoroughly cleaned. With some updates and better housekeeping, this hotel could offer a much more pleasant experience.

Although it was an adequate hotel, they were places where it could have been improved. The view was great unfortunately the windows were too dirty to be able to see it very well. Some of the furnishings were damaged, but they were also sufficient for a comfortable stay for a couple of nights.

It close to airport

We chose this hotel because we were flying out the next day. The airport shuttle in the morning was disastrous. We were told it would be there at 4:00. We got to the lobby at 3:50 and the shuttle was pulling out. The next one came 15 minutes later and the driver told us we could ride but there was not room for our luggage. We ended up calling an Uber to take us. We were not happy at all about this!

Transportation was great from the airport to the hotel. Front desk staff and shuttle driver were very friendly. We ate at the bar restaurant and it had great views and we enjoyed the food and service. They had two fire pits lit at night which was nice to go sit outside by them. I would recommend this hotel and stay here again.

Near airport is good but stafff not friendly and helpful at all, gave wrong information regarding airport shuttle, and my security deposit of 75 dollars have NOT been returned to my credit card account, do I need to call and tell them that? Should be automatic for them to do it after they check me out . No more stay with Marriott.

We booked the executive suite for a family stay/trip to the Giants game. The hotel looks nice from the outside, service and front desk was friendly. However, the beds were so squeaky any time we even moved, they had an obvious indent from wear. The bathroom “door” was basically an etched glass shower door so you have absolutely no privacy using the bathroom or showering as you can hear and see everything. Would not recommend for a family trip. The a/c also didn’t work in the room and the room was muggy and hot.

The skyview restaurant is a memorable spot especially if you are flying in or out... Love to watch the bay/runways as you eat some great food or have a cocktail. Right in the pathway along the shore so can go for a walk/run or even rent a bike! Will save as our favorite spot when we visit SF!
