    did not like that I found hair in the shower, and there were not enough towels. I called the front desk to ask for more towels for my children, and they told me they would send them right away, but more than an hour passed and nothing arrived. I called again, and they told me I had to go pick them up at the front desk. I definitely will not return to this hotel. The rooms are cleaned every two days, one of the pillows did not have a pillowcase, and our experience was not good.

    The room was not properly cleaned. I found hair on one of the beds, which made me question the overall cleanliness of the room, including the floors. As a result, I did not feel comfortable during my stay. The staff were polite and friendly, which I appreciated. However, the condition of the room did not reflect the price being charged. In my opinion, the room did not offer the level of comfort or quality expected for even a $100-per-night stay. I believe the property owner should address the cleanliness and maintenance issues. If the room's condition had matched the price, I would have stayed for two nights. Unfortunately, the experience was disappointing and not worth the cost. Parking was not an issue.

    The overall stay was ok. (Parking and breakfast). Staff were nice. The room was the most dissatisfied of the stay. It had a musty smell to it which probably the rug needs to be cleaned. The air/heat conditioner was so loud that it was hard to sleep. You could also hear vehicles on the road maybe from the highway close by. They clean rooms every other day. WiFi was a bit challenging as well.

    There must have been some event going on in town cause the hotel was overflowing with 13-17 year old high school kids. Because of that, the hallways and elevator were a mess! Ice cream smeared all over the elevators and water spilled all over the hallways. There was constant screaming and yelling all night. When I went down to get some complimentary hot water to make tea, I discovered that it was taken away. When asked why they said it was because the HS kids were misusing it. My issue is that instead of addressing the problem with the guests causing issue, they punish the others that paid full price for their stay. Breakfast was advertised as 6am-9am but for some reason it was now moved to 7am-9am on the last two days. That was an inconvenience for those of us that had plans. I don’t know if that is also a result of the disrespectful kids, but it was frustrating when most hotels have a consistent breakfast time. I would not recommend this place again due to the management and lack of advertised amenities.

    i booked the stay for the pool , but the pool was closed so it was very upsetting that we could not use the pool that was the whole poiny of the stay i had my grandkids with me .... so you need to let your third parties know that when booking it should say that the pool is closed cause they would not refund me , i tried everything to get a refund and go else where so i think a complamentary stay at another hotel with a pool would be greatly appricated for another stay so the kids can enjoy the stay that we planned

    The pool was out of order... We picked this hotel because it had a pool and the kids really wanted to go for a swim. Massive disappointment. Overall this hotel was just okay. It was dated. The only thing I truly enjoyed was the breakfast.

    The waffles at breakfast were the highlight! Very good. Arrived and was told the pool was closed for maintenance and has been closed for the past 3 weeks. The pool was the man reason we chose the hotel. Would have been nice to advertise that. Called down and asked for extra pillows for the sofa bed - was told “we’re all out of extra pillows”?? Also asked for 2 more towels. Those were never brought to the room. And the toilet only flushed if you jiggled the handle a certain way.

    "Honestly, nothing. The location was convenient, being close to the highway, but that doesn't make up for the other issues." "The room was extremely small, much smaller than it looked in the pictures. There is no space to move comfortably. Also, the air conditioning was terrible; sometimes it was freezing cold and other times it was boiling hot, and we couldn't find a comfortable setting. On top of that, the cleanliness was poor, the furniture felt old, and the soundproofing was very bad."

    So I rented the hotel room to take my grandchildren to play in the pool there was a note that said the heating system was down in he pool area it said I can cancel if I wanted to but when I check in to the room the front desk did not advise me of the pool area that is why I rented the room so they can enjoy the pool . I feel like I should have been advised and I really think the front desk should have advised me I would really like a refund for this stay since it was bad idk I never had this experience like this

    Writing this while I am here. We were greeted by a roach in the bathroom as soon as we walked in. This places needs some serious updating as we paid over $200 a night to stay here! Not so clean and it looks like the linen hasn’t been changed or washed. The building smells moldy. The problem is we checked in at night and we were exhausted, otherwise I would have not stayed here. Very disappointing.

    Disappointing stay. Have been choosing to stay at other properties instead of Mariotts and decided to give this place a try. No housekeeping . Needed towels and had difficult respose to that request. Dining area is busy and not cleaned between patrons using the tables . Seemed understaff especially front desk. Will be staying elsewhere when we come back in a few weeks .

    The highest priority for us in hotel rooms is to get good sleep so I'd never book a Springhill hotel again. We all got little sleep due to terribly soft mattresses & very loud AC, neither of which were able to be improved when asked. This did not help with a busy wedding weekend.There was no room safe for valuables. Constant Marriott advertising for wifi & when turning on TV. The best marketing is a quality accomodation which this is not.

    This hotel is conveniently located off I55 and close and an easy drive to the city of Chicago for any events and sites you are interested in. Burr Ridge is a cute town with a walkable Village Center. We stay here whenever in the area. Breakfast is nice too.

    We did not stay at this hotel. We want our money back. The room was disgusting with pubic hair in the tub. We asked for another room and the second room had dried pee on the edge of the tub. Both rooms did not look like they had been cleaned in a long time. One of my sons pointed out how dirty the floors were. We did not put anything down in either room and left both rooms immediately. When we told the front desk clerk about it, she just said that we would have to work with the 3rd party company because they had our money. She then told me that her manager would call me the next day, I have yet to get a phone call from her. I don’t know how this hotel got an 8.8 rating. The hotel must be deleting the bad reviews. The pictures on hotels.com were not up to date as the furniture was old and worn out. I want a refund from either hotels.com or Springhill Suites. Do NOT stay at this hotel. Go next door to the Hampton Inn. They were great. One of their managers even told me horror stories about the Springhill Suites in Burr Ridge.

    This place is a dump and I am trying to get a refund for our stay. The hotel is very old and in poor condition, but the worst part of our stay was that our sheets had blood all over them and my daughter and I had to touch this biohazard. Don’t stay here!     We stayed for a quick night before leaving on spring break. It was about a 30min drive to O'Hare which was perfect for an early morning flight. The free breakfast was perfect with waffles, cereal, and muffins. The coffee/tea station was great. I really appreciated the lemon juice packets and honey that I could add to the green tea they offered. Overall we would stay here again next time we need a hotel near O'Hare!

    My group was arriving very very early in the morning (5am) and they kept up with me the whole way as they knew I was driving up from Alabama and were total sweethearts. Room was nice, breakfast was good and plentiful... wonderful place to be.

    The hotel was satisfactory but is in need of updating. Furnishing looked worn, roof over the breakfast area was leaking badly and looked to have been that way for a while judging from the ceiling condition. Staff was nice. Probably would choose a different hotel next time.

    Entire reason for booking this particular property was because of the pool. There was zero indication of it closure upon booking. Upon arrival, it was closed my entire stay. I will never stay at this hotel again and I work across the street.

    The room was nice and spacious. Breakfast was great. We were disappointed with the pool being closed for 2 weeks. The front desk said it was posted on their site but I went to check my booking, their page and website - did NOT see the update on the pool. The place was nice but we mainly booked it for the pool though. When we got there around the evening, they offered a refund but that was inconvenient. We have been driving for more than 4hours with our kids and have to find hotel with a pool, so we ended up staying instead.

    the swiming pool was closed for maintenance and it has been closed for a while as they said. we should be informed at the time of booking as this was a big disappointment for us, especially for the kids.

    This was our third stay at Burr-Ridge. It checks all of the boxes. Super staff! Most comfortable beds we’ve ever had at a hotel! Love the breakfast!

    It wasn’t bad but wasn’t excellent. The pool was very murky. My daughters broke out in hives from being in the water too long. You can smell the chlorine as soon as you walk in. And that’s one of the main reasons we came. They still enjoyed themselves. That’s the only thing that was dissatisfying. But the food was great, room was clean and nice.

    Very great got a suite with two beds , everything is great clean just a few things were dirty , there was a bloody burger on the wall and make up on the sheets , other then that overall it was amazing, I enjoyed my time .

    The pool needed cleaning. There was a smell that was in the hall. The food was good. The staff was helpful. But the bed was old. Last but far from least they need to update yfi and there were no outlets for cords.

    This trip (5 days) was not good. The first room we were given had a tv that didn’t work and the phone was ripped out of the wall. The next room had a heater that turned on ice cold air in the middle of the night. We reported it in the morning, thinking that someone would do something about it. Nothing. We just turned it off , thinking they would get to it. Nothing. And by the way, no one likes turkey sausage . I will explore other options.

    This property has definitely gone down hill. There was a funky smell when I entered the room and discovered it was from a leaking sink drain causing rotting of the cabinet and leading to a wet carpet. The carpet also had various stains. The bathroom fan was really loud and there was what appeared to be mold on the bathroom wallpaper, in addition to peeling wallpaper too.

    Property needs to be renovated badly. Garbage property for the $. Dirty worn carpet, dirty sofa, mold in bathroom grout, furniture all nicked up looking shabby, random cheap Wi-Fi repeater dangling from the wall, iron full of lime, no padding on iron board making it worthless, no Kleenex (was empty), no lotion, super thin worn towels, nasty 1980 phone next to toilet, etc. Will stay back at the Hampton Inn down the street next time which is actually a very nice hotel. My mistake for trying to save $15 at this property vs the Hampton down the street, and it will never happen again!

    The beds were very comfortable, the only thing that we would have enjoyed more was a thicker pillow but there were plenty of pillows so you could double them up. Nice hot shower every morning, staff was very pleasant, each and every one that we talked to. Great stay!

    Staying in a room where the toilet ran over and I couldn’t/didnt receive any assistance going up/down from the room to the lobby with kids to use the bathroom and even after I was told maintenance wouldn’t be in until 7 they never showed up and I was offered a plunger to do it myself unbelievable I love the Marriott my absolute favorite hotel but this was very unprofessional
