Our room was outdated and kinda musty smelling like they did a cheap partial update. Way overpriced for what you get. I did love going to the Kohler spa across the street though!!

The hotel seems laid back, wasn’t super busy. They have an indoor pool and jacuzzi which is nice. The jets in the jacuzzi were so powerful though that you could not necessarily sit back. You had to sit towards the edge of the seat because they were shooting the water everywhere to the point where it was even soaking the floor surrounding it. The hotel has a bar/restaurant/coffee bar that offers a limited selection of food. The bartending that was working was new so she was still getting the hang of things, she was nice though. We put on the app we would be arriving at 3 which check in was at 4 so I know there was not guarantee on the room being available which was fine. The ladies working the front desk were nice and said the room was getting a “final inspection” and would be done ready in about 15-20 minutes. Almost 30 minutes later they said the room was good to go. We had asked for extra towels prior to arrival in which the hotel responded they would accommodate, we mentioned it again when we were checking in and they relayed the message to house keeping as they were “finalizing” the room. When we got to the room there were no extra towels, so we had to call for them. The stopper in the bathroom sink was broken and basically just sitting there, and the entertainment stand/shelves/fridge cabinet were covered in dust. Which is all interesting considering the room have a 30 minute final inspection. They brought towels and maintenance came and fixed the sink. Not a bad hotel

What was disappointing was Marriott no longer provided free bottled water but what was most disappointing was that in front of the hotel and on the property is a HUGE parking lot and Marriott charges to park overnight. Ridiculous.

Only negative I have is that you park in their parking lot which ha alot of spots and they charge you . Doesnt make sense why you pay for parking when you are staying at the hotel.

We observed guests violating the hotel's policy while using a facility, resulting in boundary issues and making use so uncomfortable we no longer could use the facility.We asked the staff to intervene, but their response was not sufficient, nor did they enforce their own policies.When we asked the staff again to intervene they without cause said we were wrong and dismissed our complaint and us. Taken back my significant other was no longer comfortable in the hotel. Living with someone who suffers from PTSD you encounter situations you can't avoid but this particular situation was preventable and they failed to do so.

It’s quite disheartening to choose a supposedly high or top tier hotel and then be nickle and dined with fee’s to park your car, and pay for internet. The room was adequate but quite honestly I could have stayed at a hotel with a price point 1 half the cost and not be charged for internet and parking. I won’t be using this hotel again. Nothing about this experience warrants the need to pay extra for normal things. This isn’t a resort but it is charging resort type fee’s.

During check-in the covers on the beds were absolutely dirty … when called front desk the manger was very rude about the situation. Then the room next door played music for 3 days straight day and night! Also the heat does not go over 75 so it is cold in rooms during winter.

Room was spacious and clean. I thought it was very odd when the hotel had a daily parking fee with the hotel location in a quiet suburb with a large parking lot. There are other options for hotels same location who don’t charge. I will not book again due to that extra fee. Other than that, fine hotel.

Room was okay. Very dark. Ink stains on sheets in areas that should clearly been visible by housekeeping. After a late arrival housekeeping knocked on our door at 8:32 am. I did forget the dnd but really. Soda in suite not comfortable. Chair at desk tips crazy far back.

The property was very nice and well appointed. However, fully 2/3 of the common areas of the property were not available to us. We had 3 families coming together for a funeral and wanted to spend time together in the evening. We could not bring our pizza and beers to sit on the patio and reconnect. The policy of no outside food or beverages seems arbitrary and I have never run into rules like that at other properties, Marriott or competitors.

We couldn’t check in to one of our rooms for a bit (even though we were called and told our rooms were ready) because the new employee was left alone and didn’t know how to add the room. Pool was closed for our entire stay. Unfortunately, the pool was one of the reasons we booked that particular hotel. It was hard to get a cup of coffee at the little “cafe” and when I finally did, it was cold. Beds were decently comfortable, but not great. The main draw is the location.

5 minutes after check in, the kid 5 minutes later, is bawling and irritated, we tried to chat with you. We were told that the pool was closed and that it said it somewhere in the fine print. How deceiving. Showing pics of the pool, when it was not available. Hidden in the fine print. Sneaky! Chat offered no help. Actually rude and a terrible offer. Expedia doesnt let you say anything, theyve denied 3 of my reviews. We did not accept and we are disputing this. I will ever use Expedia again, one of the worst experiences Ive had in a long time. Disappointed is not the world. I work looooong weeks, and now I have to spend more time handling this elsewhere. I know this is not expedia..... but the hotel needs updates. The bar area was great, but there are cracked falling apart sidewalks, old nasty carpet. This isnt even 10% of the problems at that place. We covered up sticky junk with pieces of paper. All photographed. Never again. I had to give the master bed in the suite to try and make up for it. I slept on the insanely uncomfortable couch (of which had no blankets or linen. You dont wanna know $.

My parents and I had a pleasant stay at Marriott Burr Ridge. The main focal points for us were the pool, whirlpool, and gym. The environmental services / daily housekeeping did an exceptional job. We mostly just needed fresh towels and some tea to which they would happily provide for us. Check-in was a breeze, Jason is professional and friendly. We were most grateful for the ability to check-in earlier due to an early flight. It felt relaxing to utilize the amenities and de-stress after a flight with the gym and pool. The terrace area by the pool was peaceful as well, the sun and temperature was warm to which we were able to lay out and catch some rays. The only suggestion I have would be to add a filtered refillable water station, maybe on each floor(?). I didn’t want to bother the bar with requesting them to fill my water bottle but at least the gym had some filtered water to which was very useful. Overall I loved our stay at the Mariott. Clean, comfortable, close proximity to many places on our trip, walking trails, ample amount of trolleys to tote your luggage, shopping center close by..I’d stay here again in a heartbeat. Keep up the good work!

Beautiful location and very nice hotel. One problem was the size of the bathroom. Even though we had a spacious suite, the bathroom was very small, made worse by the door that opened inward, hardly allowing you to close the door once in. Thankfully other hotels have discovered barn door style doors help solve the problem, However, for as modern as the hotel looks, the bathrooms should have been been designed to be larger.

We have been going here for many years. It was by itself when we started using it for Chicago trips. The community that has grown around it is impressive and extremely convenient now. Someone at Marriott had a fantastic vision. And it was spot on.

It was close to the venue. For about three hundred a night we would have expected free internet and/or free breakfast but neither of it was included. For a room that sleeps 3, they only have two wash cloths and two bath towels in the room. I’ll likely stay at another hotel next time. The only reason we stayed here cause it was close to the wedding venue. There’s lots of other options with compatible prices and great included amenities. Just not this one again.

Overall the stay was comfortable. Upon going to bed however, pulling back the sheets, there was a stain to the sheets. Almost looked like a boot-print to the sheets. We had them replaced immediately. But I’d be lying if I said it didn’t sour my opinion.

First impression appearance front of the building looked creepy and has no feel that your walking into a hotel. Lobby was amazing, loved it. Room I stayed in was disgusting, it hasn’t been dusted, vacuumed in weeks, shower had buildup of soap, fridge and mirrors had finger prints stains. In the hallways by the elevator on the floor I stayed on it hasn’t been vacuumed as well, dust and dirt all over floor. Pool was filthy and hot tub could definitely use some construction maintenance repairs, Reclining chair by the pool looked like it had pile up of dirt stains on the material, beyond unpleasant and disgusting. Unfortunately I arrived when it was night and didn’t notice these things till morning time. Very unhealthy and unsanitary to stay in room like this with my two young children. This needs immediate attention.

The hotel was packed due to a wedding and only had one working elevator which was super slow and didn’t go up/down as selected. It kind of did it’s own thing. The pool was overcrowded with people who were not guests but let in by a guest. They were extremely loud and took over the whole pool and even sat at our table where we had our belongings and had been before they arrived. When I asked the woman to move from my seat where she was sitting on my clothes she ignored me. We promptly left the area to avoid any issues.

Everything was nice. Very comfortable. Pillows a bit too soft for my taste. Definitely will bring my own next time. Shoukd be a bit more stocked so theirs no need to call front desk to get a restock in bathroom or other things in the room.

I stayed here recently for 2 separate stays. The first was to visit my Dad, who was very ill and sadly passed during my trip. The second stay was right after with my family for the funeral. For both stays, Marriott and especially Regina were so kind and helpful during this challenging time. She helped with all the arrangements and made sure we were set so we could focus on our family. I am so grateful for Regina's care. It's so nice to meet such kind people who go the extra mile to make a difference.

When we arrived at the hotel, there was no one at the counter. We waited about 5 minutes, then a hotel representative came and said she would be right with us but then said to wait again because she had to go let another couple into their room. We got into the room and noticed that the sheets had urine stains on them and asked for more sheets. We had a king size bed and they gave us queen sheets smh. We asked for the room to be serviced and he never was. They said they would take $30 off for the urine stains but ended up adding an extra night to my bill. I will not be staying there again.
