Our check in person was friendly and helpful. My husband made friends with a couple guys at the bar and they watched hockey together. The bartender was his new best friend. I thought the beds were comfortable and I got a great night’s sleep.

The room was clean and spacious for one person. Staff was good enough. You have to pay for breakfast separately. There was very little shampoo, conditioner, and body lotion so they ran out before I checked out.

Disappointing

Staff was welcoming when we arrived. Room was clean. They were very helpful providing a roll-away bed when we realized we had one king instead of two double beds. Breakfast had different choices and was good. We would consider staying here again.

I was traveling with my dog and this was his first stay at a hotel. From the moment we entered the lobby we felt comfortable and welcomed. From the welcome bag with dog treats, a toy, and pup amenities, the smiles and ear rubs my dog received at check-in to the time we checked in, we felt like valued guests. The room was spacious, clean, and quiet and the location couldn’t have been better. I will definitely book at this particular hotel and Hilton Garden Inn again. Thank you for a wonderful visit.

Ok hotel but dated. Hallways had lots of scuff marks. The rooms bathtub was in bad shape and the chair had lots of stains.
- 4/5
Very good
- 5/5
Clean hotel. Bistro/ restaurant was excellent. Food was delightful. No reason to go out and eat.
- 5/5
Amazing stay due to front desk personnel Casie. Her amazing personality and care made for an exceptional stay.

Good location. But be aware, their breakfast is nothing fancy especially not free. We ordered all you can eat breakfast for $15. So called hot food options are scrambled eggs, bacon and potatoes. Another thing is shower water seems low on pressure, not a great relax after long drive day.
- 4/5
The food in the restaurant was good. We stayed here many years ago and I remember one disappointing meal but now it was very well done.
- 5/5
Clean large room, excellent location-close to stadium, breakfast delicious-many options, friendly staff. Downside-WIFI was not working well and super slow
- 5/5
The staff were helpful and accommodating. The breakfast staff and the bartender at night were especially nice and made an effort to connect with guests. The fitness center was basic but had all the necessary items. I did not use the pool but for families with kids, it is a great plus to have an indoor pool.
- 5/5
Very clean, nice room and staff.
- 5/5
excellent ( breakfast) morning staff Ms. Erika the hostess/waitress, outstanding employee skills in every area of working duties. Some of the fruit looked over ripe and old, perhaps you can improve your level of acceptable fruit quality and discretion but this must come from the top down. Consider adding blueberry and corn muffins baked in house for your signature breakfast items.

Great hotel!
- 3/5
Place is very in need of a make over. Things are very dated looking in the rooms.
- 4/5
No movie ordering. Not enough in room entertainment.
- 4.5/5
Mattress was a little soft
- 5/5
I was not able to stay here. But former stays were lovely. Thank you
- 4/5
I thought room temp was perfect when I got there. Check in was smooth and the lady that checked me in was great.
- 5/5
The hotel was comfortable and well maintained. The front desk staff was friendly and accommodating.

- 4/5
Overall nice and decent hotel.
- 4/5
The room was clean, and the staff professional.
- 4/5
My room still needs additional work. It is a work in progress.
- 5/5
My boyfriend and I had a great stay here. It was a quick stay, as it was just a place to stay overnight as we made a long trip home for thanksgiving. The staff were so lovely and helpful. I had my 6 month old puppy with me and they provided a doggy gift bag with paw wipes, a cute door tag, and an info sheet with nearby vets, etc. Our room was clean and comfortable. The lobby was also well kept with plenty of space to sit and relax. We really enjoyed the breakfast and will definitely return on our next roadtrip.
- 5/5
Clean, adequate parking, decent menu for dinner and breakfast.
- 4/5
good star
- 5/5
All good
- 3/5
Basic accommodations - pool is very small and no hot tub.
- 5/5
Cleanliness in general of the entire hotel and amenities. Friendliness of staff!
- 5/5
Great staff throughout (front desk, maintenance, rooms, bar, kitchen). Clean and very convenient.
- 5/5
Breakfast great little pricey.
- 5/5
The room was clean, bartender was amazing! Overall it was a great stay.
- 1/5
Managers very unfair
- 3/5
The check-in experience could be improved with more friendly and welcoming staff interactions
- 5/5
The room was clean and smelled so good! I forgot about the time change, so I arrived 2 hours before check in but they were very nice and let me check in early. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Would definitely stay again if I’m ever in the area.
- 3/5
The hotel was adequate, but we likely wouldn’t stay again. The lobby was nice, but the rest of the hotel was obviously old with a superficial update. Dirty spots on the carpet, and we killed a bug during our stay.
- 3/5
Parking charge was unclear and ridiculous. Breakfast was way overpriced and unappetizing.
- 5/5
Good stay. Friendly and very efficient staff checked me in in record time. My room was cozy and clean and had plenty of light and a comfortable chair for relaxing and a desk to sit at while I worked a bit. Thanks for having a nightlight in the bathroom! This wasn't a frilly room but had everything I needed. I'll definitely stay here the next time I'm in town.
- 5/5
Close to UI.
- 1/5
The poorest service by their staff I’ve ever received!!
- 3/5
The shower grab bars were not secured properly, there was mold in the shower and a stain on the chair. The staff accommodated a room change. It was not awful but it was not great either.
- 5/5
Nice property. Great location. We had a small family get-together between semesters .Were able to see so much in just a few days. Made great use of the pool area, as well as the lobby (playing board games in the evening). front of the hose staff were so friendly and helpful. We will be back.
- 5/5
The property was clean and in a good location. The only comment is that I don't understand why we had to pay for parking and the parking fee was not made clear to us when we checked in but not a big deal.
- 5/5
Great rest stop.
- 4/5
Could not raise blinds all the way. Just by chance we found buttons on a wall across the room that partially raised one but never could raise the secondary blind.
- 5/5
Great 👍 I will stay again
- 2/5
Absolutely unacceptable bathroom condition. Arrived to a puddle of water in front of the shower. Also loose tiles. Mold all overt the tub and bathroom, wallpaper peeling. OK Hilton Garden Inn, you claim you will "make it right." OK, go ahead and refund my stay ate this crappy hotel room. ALSO: room suffers from Dark Room Syndrome. Most hotels have figured this out with one bright floor-standing amp. Not this one. Large DARK room at night. Needs more light!
- 4/5
Hotel was good
- 4/5
Good value and great staff
- 5/5
The room was very clean; the staff was pleasant and eager to provide assistance. I am not happy with the $6 dollar per day parking fee, though.
- 4/5
Last stay was completely perfect. This stay our room is a bit dirty but over all I'd stay here again. The staff are super nice
- 5/5
Clean hotel, friendly staff. Would stay again
- 5/5
Everything was wonderful. Nice staff and very clean room.
- 5/5
Great room, quiet area, nice staff
- 5/5
Really nice staff and rooms. No complaints
- 4/5
Our king bed was the most uncomfortable bed ive slept in at a Hilton. Very old, we could feel the divots on both sides.
- 5/5
.
- 3/5
Didn’t appreciate the hidden $6 charge for parking just to park in a more the vacant lot. It’s not exactly Chicago.
- 4/5
For one night, it was just fine
- 5/5
Modern, clean and spacious. Very friendly staff. Excellent breakfast, exceeded expectations. Convenient location for visiting the university.
- 5/5
clean, and staff is friendly
- 5/5
Everything was great
- 3/5
Old hotel hallways and outdated room. Food was horrible! Felt like the cook dumped a bottle of salt on my breakfast eggs.
- 5/5
Very nice and clean.
- 5/5
The hotel alone was beautiful. We enjoyed our stay and the service was great.
- 5/5
Love staying here. It’s my go to place in Champaign
- 5/5
My husband and I had an amazing time!
- 4/5
The property was nice
- 5/5
Remodeled property, clean and tidy. Friendly staff.
- 3/5
The room was outdated and the blinds broken - could not stream to the tv, shampoo and no conditioner in the bathroom. No extra pillows or blankets. Parking was 6 dollars and there is plenty of spaces, obviously not monitored. Why a fee?
- 4/5
Very nice place. Only issue is they couldn’t find the reservation made on Expedia. Finally had to track down the reservation number
- 4/5
I liked it was a shower in the room and not bathtub. The room was quite clean. The bed was comfortable.
- 5/5
Have a great stay at Hilton!
- 1/5
Problem not with Hilton but you. I went to check in and they did not have my reservation. Both the first tine
- 5/5
I would recommend.
- 4/5
Our stay was great. However, there was a dead fly caught in the blinds. And the blinds were inoperable.
- 5/5
Nice hotel, will stay here again, friendly staff
- 5/5
Very nice and clean
- 5/5
Clean and spacious rooms. Easy check-in. Good location for campus activities
- 5/5
We love staying at Hiltons when they have a bar/restaurant on the property after a long day of driving g!
- 3/5
Needs an update but clean..breakfast is not included. Is available but 17.00.
- 5/5
Great place. Clean… just please don’t lift up the mattress cover. The mattress looked like a murder happened on it.
- 4/5
$6 per day for parking? Unnecessary charge.
- 5/5
The staff were friendly, the hotel was clean and stylish :) My daughter and I enjoyed our stay☺️
- 4/5
The location was convenient. The facility overall was clean. My only issue was the person on the night shift at check-in was very unpleasant and my room above the toilet in the bathroom the ceiling was damaged and had leak from above.
- 5/5
Very convenient for what we needed. Nice staff and clean facilities.
- 5/5
Everyone was great! The lady when I checked in was so nice and the one in the morning was as well. It was Christmas Eve and Christmas morning, so I appreciate them working and being friendly.
- 5/5
The place was great and the staff friendly.
- 4/5
Everything was perfect except the breakfast was pretty pricey for the type of food we received.
- 2/5
Room was fine, breakfast was a waste of money, $17 pp for lukewarm scrambled eggs, over cooked cold bacon and over seasoned potatoes.
- 5/5
Great stay! Would recommend staying here.
- 2/5
For the money spent, I would have expected maid service daily. The front desk told me I could not get the buffet; I would have had to order it in advance. There were perhaps a hundred packages of four Hershey’s kisses. Arriving in the evening for my second night, I asked if I could take one. The front desk person told me firmly NO! Ridiculous.
- 4/5
-There's zero reason for them to charge for parking because it's in the middle of a giant parking lot, but the receptionist said they will tow if you don't pay. There is a Hilton Homewood Suites right in the middle of the same parking field that doesn't charge. -There's no Netflix or other streaming options on the TV, just DirectTV. -They only have super-soft feather type pillows so if you like head support, you are out of luck. The staff was nice and checked the collection but that's all they stock.
- 4/5
They charged a fee of $6 to park my own car in their parking lot.
- 3/5
Property and room were clean and comfortable. The only drawback was being charged for parking and a $40 “incidental” fee upon arrival
- 4/5
The dinning area was arranged oddly and did not seem to be a cohesive space. The coffee was in the middle side edge of the room away from the rest of the drinks and food. You could sit and be waited on or just go get your food. They food was laid out in a strange arrangement. For a Hilton I expected better quality. The staff were nice and the hotel was quiet.
- 5/5
Visiting daughter attending school. Close to campus. Clean and comfortable.
- 3/5
.
- 4/5
I was surprised that housekeeping was only scheduled every other day. Staying three nights, housekeeping only was scheduled once.
- 5/5
The only thing to mention is if you book for a game weekend like we did, be aware that on top of the very high per night room fee, there is a parking change added on.
- 5/5
Lovely stay.
- 3/5
Location is good from airport and UIUC.
- 5/5
Lovely staff and accommodations.
- 2/5
We had booked a room with two beds for three guests. But they gave us a room with only one bed. After we complained they brought in a squeaky and uncomfortable roll-way bed. Worse, they would not accept any responsibility since we had "booked through a third party".
- 5/5
Great
- 5/5
Yes
- 4/5
Only negatives were that all of the linens were very dingy and the mattress was not comfortable. Maybe needed replaced due to age.
- 5/5
All good
- 5/5
Nice and clean
- 4/5
This time, we reserved a room with a bath, but were given a shower; the receptionist didn't seem to be sympathetic to our disappointment at this switch. And for the first time, we found the coffee-stained carpet where one would not miss—in front of mirror and TV. We also found that the room refrigerator was broken. We decided not to call the desk since it was late, however it was inconvenient. Our experience was less than satisfactory, we would hesitate to recommend this Hilton to our friends for the above reasons.
- 2/5
Well it could have been nice but our room was not. The first thing I noticed was the weird smell in the hall in the 6th floor. It smelled of old coffee and puke. The room itself was a beat up. There was damage on the ceiling from a past sprinkler system issue. It was hastily painted over. The shower although clean was horrible. It was very low pressure from a hand held shower head and had a very small tub. The curtains could have been nice. They were operated by buttons on the wall but the blackout curtain could not be raised by the buttons or by hand. It was broken. Also the knobs on the heating unit on the wall were removed. It looked broken. I was so tired I didn’t see the thermostat so I unplugged the unit so I wouldn’t freeze. The whole place was banged up with hard use and could have used some painting or a wipe down with a magic eraser. The good thing I can say about it was that the bed was comfortable, the bathroom was clean and the check in attendant was very nice. When I told the check out attendant, she said that I had chosen an accessible room. I was just trying to get a tub which that particular room had. I don’t think that should mean you get a weak shower or that you should assume that this is a good excuse for a poor shower. What does she think the people who use accessible rooms deserve? I guess she thinks we deserve less. Overall, I do not think I should have been charged as much for the room. No one should have to pay over a hundred for that room.
- 5/5
Nice staff and comfortable rooms. A little run down and dated (old bathrooms, stained rugs, etc.) but overall well maintained.
- 2/5
Did not clean the room daily.
- 2/5
There was a musty/musky smell that permeated the entire hotel and the rooms. It was really overwhelming and pretty gross. Probably the most uncomfortable bed and pillows I have ever slept on and I have visited many hotels. Will never return.
- 4/5
The hotel was very well located and convenient to everything we needed. The only complaint I have is the lighting in the room was not great. The lights between the beds were just adequate but the rest of the room was dark, only a desk lamp and a very focused pole lamp next to the chair by the window.
- 5/5
The hotel was nice. Clean. Felt safe.
- 4/5
Clean and friendly staff.
- 4/5
Only thing I was not happy with is we had to pay for breakfast. For what we paid for the room there should have been a complimentary breakfast.
- 5/5
Super nice and the restaurant was great.
- 5/5
The staff is always nice and accommodating.
- 5/5
The place is clean, comfortable beds, convenient location, close to restaurants.
- 4/5
Big room. Clean. But unfortunately, the A/C was so loud it made it difficult to get a good nights sleep.
- 4/5
Everything went well
- 4/5
Clean and convenient. Breakfast buffet was pricey.
- 5/5
Close to campus and a good, clean place.
- 5/5

- 5/5

- 4/5
No battle waters in the room and not that quiet.
- 4/5
Peaceful
- 5/5
Our stay was completely fine. Hotel and room were clean and convenient. Staff was courteous and very helpful.
- 5/5

- 5/5
Enjoyed my stay
