    Our carpet outside the bathroom had a large wet area. Even after a fan all day, it wasn’t dry. They offered to change rooms, but ours was an accessible one, w/roll-in shower-not available., and an elevator down. Then one of our TV’s didn’t work- had to have someone repair it. Breakfast was very limited and minimal, and one day my knife still had dried egg on it.

    We paid in full, through Expedia, a couple of weeks prior to our check in. Processing of that payment was confirmed through PayPal, & Expedia confirmed payment to Home2Suites by Hilton in Champaign IL. However, Home2Suites processed a second payment the day of our check in, through the debit card on our Hilton rewards account. I have spent several hours in communication with the hotel to resolve this, to no avail. They are aware payment in full was made prior to our arrival. They have seen proof of that. No return communication has been attempted from the hotel’s manager. Expedia is now taking over responsibility of communicating with the hotel. However, Expedia noted that they had difficulty with the front desk of the hotel answering the phone. Yes; this happened multiple times for me, too; I had to press option of “reservation”, simply to speak to someone. That was a consistent issue during the stay as well. In addition, breakfast was lacking, & that is the most polite way to say that. Staff person at breakfast said they would refill items that were gone at the time we started breakfast, but that was never done. Upon researching regulatory agencies to notify of this hotel’s fraudulent charges, I became aware that there is a historical pattern of fraudulent charges made by Hone2Suites in Champaign IL. We will never return to this hotel. I wouldn’t roll the dice if I were you.

    Very clean with helpful staff. Small kitchen in the room plus free breakfast. Gym is small but has several machines. If you need a yoga mat, you’ll want to bring your own. Laundry facility on site. Great location.

    Hilton’s Hampton, Tru, and Home 2 locations never disappoint me, especially with the price of the Champaign location. Staff is always accommodating, property is always looked after (keeping it fresh), breakfast is great, and the room is always cozy. I enjoy it more as a solo stay, as the new barn-style bathroom doors in the king bed rooms do not lock, not sure about the others.

    Room was clean and bed fine but sofa was way past needing replaced. Front desk staff had very little customer service skills once they appeared. TV very limited in channels compared to other hotels. Breakfast buffet left a lot to be desired. It was very limited in options - fine if you wanted a waffle - but one of the waffle irons was out of order even. No fresh fruit or eggs other than hard boiled. Sad offering in my opinion.

    The room above sounded like some was jumping off the bed and running around the room every 3 minutes til 1 am when we called the desk. Breakfast was rock hard and ice cold. We were told there was no housekeeping the day that we were there which is kinda gross - hope they changed the sheets before we checked in! Pillows were basically flat and bed was hard. Would only stay here again in an emergency. Check out the other hotels before you commit to this one.

    The room was big enough for 4 of us and it was clean. However, the sofa bed was terrible, the window blinds wouldn't close all the way and we had to ask twice for sheets for the sofa bed before just going to get them ourselves. The breakfast was ok but not exceptional.

    The room itself was very nice but there were two issues that were never resolved. First one and the most annoying was there key card system was down. When we checked in they said it would be fixed in 1-2 hours, never fixed! You needed a hotel staff member to escort you to your room each and every time you needed entry to your room. Of course this affected many of the guests so there was always a wait. Second the door handle to our door was broken and they came up to fix it on the day we were checking out. In fact it was while we were getting ready in the room to check out. The room itself was very nice but I’ve never experienced this type of service and situation before. In a city that has many hotels to choose from are they trying to go out of business? Key card service was down so the only way to enter your room was with a staff member. Plus door handle was broken and the only time they came up to fix it was when we were getting ready to check out!

    Room smelled moldy...it's a shame not to be able to open a window. One thing I did appreciate was the breakfast with a decent variety and real dishes and silverware as opposed to plastic which made it seem more classy and luxurious and not just another cheaper motel.

    Being a Hilton honors member and having stayed at many of these properties, I expected so much more. Front desk girls were fabulous. Lobby appeared to be clean, elevators worked fine, parking was easy. The room was just clean enough that I would stay, no bed bugs. Old carpeting, our door was nearly impossible to open and close, bathroom had been surface cleaned, definitely no sanitation on either the room or the bathroom. It was a busy college parents weekend so I kind of expected they’d have prepared better, but also understand that they were likely rushing to get rooms ready. Beds were AWFUL… sinking in the middle. Pull out couch was filthy. And, checkout was noon, we’d gone to the game the night before so my kids were still asleep around 8:30- 9am, and we awoke to a housekeeper banging on our door, not once, not twice, but three times asking us when we were leaving. THAT was just totally inappropriate. We spent over $1200 on a room for two nights and were being rushed out in the morning hours before checkout.

    Overall the facility was really nice. We will stay here again. The pool was fun they have a really nice outdoor seating area. The only thing that my family disliked was the quality of breakfast. After it sits out for so long you need to swap out the product. Otherwise,great place to stay

    The facility itself is very clean, staff were very friendly, but the furnitures, doors and bathroom need renovation or replacement ! The door is misaligned, the bathroom barn door is super heavy to open and close. Inside the shower, you can see the stucco cracks, on the shower door corner, there’s water damage. Microwave panel has cutting hazard( we almost got cut), the desk chair’s armrest is peeled.(the plastic cracked and falling apart). The elevator was down, but no notice on other floors except first floor, we were waiting for more than 10 minutes, finally someone( customers) climbed upstairs and told us the elevator is down.

    This property needs some TLC. Outdated with scraped up walls, leaking AC unit in room soaking carpet, mixed matched decor, uncomfortable mattress. One of two Elevators down, weeds/trash around exterior and lame breakfast. The Good: great staff, great location (grocery store, decent restaurant and Starbucks within walking distance), good price and nice size rooms.

    The stay was fine, but woken up early in the morning due to a fire alarm. One elevator was down and then the other went down for a bit on the first day. Check-in took about 20 minutes because no one was at the front desk. There was no milk for breakfast. Otherwise everything else was fine.

    The room was not clean. Floors were damp, there was a can of chew under my bathroom sink. There were several housekeepers on my floor for hours one day I was there in and out. I couldn’t believe they didn’t do the basics of sweeping.

    Our hotel room was right by the fire pit outside, and this noise made it a bit loud to sleep and relax. Additionally, we got a room that had an AC that was too loud. It wasn't the hum of the AC, but rather some creaking noises. If you stay here, I recommend requesting a room that's not on the side of the outdoor fire pit! The gym was a plus, it was clean and had basic equipment. The breakfast was overall standard for a continental breakfast.

    No hand soap in the bathroom, typical for most hotel rooms. Shower was decent. Front door was a bear, spring needed adjustment, it could hurt you. One of the elevators was making some banging noises(counter-weights?). The desk person said a tech had determined it was fine, i was like call another tech. My biggest issue was breakfast. Single well done eggs that were served in this unit that was very difficult to get them out.

    The rooms are not too bad. Although I do bring my own cleaning wipes and as I was wiping everything down it was very dirty. That isn’t something the naked eye would see. The breakfast was cold both days the only real hot item is the waffles you can make yourself. The lobby was dirty and the garbage cans outside were overflowing. Staff was not very friendly.

    Breakfast was good. Waffles, cereal, ham and fried potatoes. Would have preferred some scrambled eggs, but wasnt a huge deal. Gentleman working at breakfast was extremely helpful and kind. Ladies at the front desk were so nice and welcoming! Room was spacious and quiet. Did not use the pool or gym so can not comment on that, but there were plenty of people using both and they were enjoying.

    I chose this hotel because of it's location--close to a last appointment on my trip to Illinois. I also thought the cost was reasonable given the accommodation. When I arrived (somewhat late) I was greeted by a super friendly hotel clerk who gave me a great food recommendation for dinner. The room was quiet, cool and with accommodations I didn't really need, but nice. Breakfast was "sketchy" but I found something that worked. Ha!

    Pillows were yellow & dirty , food crumps on the floor , hairs all over , bathroom was not clean well , the breakfast was so limited , had barely anything , I don’t recommend this hotel at all .

    We liked everything about the property but the American flag in front of the building was in terrible condition I believe they make enough money the flag for less than $100. I class this as very disgraceful.

    Close to a nice market for food. The morning truck didn't arrive so the breakfast wasn't as substantial. No fresh fruits. But overall, I came for the quiet and good price for the space. Thanks!

    Staff was friendly, but room keys were not working! Each time I left my room, I had to be accompanied by staff to my 4th floor room in get back inside. Since keys not working, could not use pool, fitness equipment or even leave to go get ice! Had to stay in my room, could not go anywhere. Refused to make accommodation or compensation. Found out various keys didn’t work for over a week. Shouldn’t have booked rooms without working keys! Food not hot, no fresh fruit, limited selections at breakfast. Disappointing 2 night stay!!

    We stayed just one night…two adults and one teen with one queen bed and pullout couch. The room was perfectly spacious and clean. Minor repairs needed (wall patching) in the bathroom but the room as a whole was satisfactory.

    This property is going downhill. We stay once a year and have liked it in the past. This time the toilet in the room was not working properly, the carpet smelled like dirty feet, and there was a baseboard missing near the shower. The quality of the breakfast has declined. The key system was down the whole week (we were told it was a Hilton-wide issue) so we only had one key between us. We will be trying other hotels in the future but are sorry that this Home2Suites has declined so much.

    I greatly appreciated being able to secure a room in the location I hoped for. I loved the room! The staff were friendly and quite apologetic about a snafu with the key cards, which was an inconvenience. The room was great, but the desk chair needed to be replaced (material on the arms was disintegrating), and the charging station did not work. Overall, a great stay and I hope to use Home2Suites again!

    Great, met all our needs. Room was nice and included everything we needed - fridge, microwave, sink, dishwasher, table pullout, free laundry services. Good breakfast each morning. Only suggestions for improvements to be made - firmer pillows, thicker comforter on the bed

    The hotel was nice. The pool was closed for maintenance which was disappointing. The breakfast was smaller than other Hilton’s but that is probably because there is a kitchen with refrigerator, microwave, sink, and dishwasher in the room.

    Very friendly helpful staff. Room and facilities are attractive. A few small issues with room: shower doors did not fully close, a few lamps did not work. Sheets are a strange texture - not cotton.

    Hotel in great location if attending a sporting event at the University. Even though it is a newer hotel, the pool was not operating and the beds were doubles when listing said queen/king. People working there are very nice. Space in the rooms is larger, but set up like a dorm room-which seems odd.

    This is our go-to hotel when we visit our daughter at UI. Very convenient location. Also, they improved their breakfast bar by allowing you to make your own breakfast sandwich rather than them being prepared for you. Also, the biscuit was outstanding.

    I have stayed here several times. Hotel is always clean and the front desk staff are so friendly. Really like the full refrigerator and kitchen sink with dishes provided in the rooms. I will continue to say here when I am down in Champaign.

    Just dull. Breakfast was poor. No omelettes, no breakfast sandwiches. Sign said Temporarilyl out. I asked if they were making some. Answer was NO. Toaster was broken. I mentioned it. They said, Yup. Probably need to buy a new one. Yikes! But nick people!

    Hotel lobby looked nice but that’s all about the hotel. Poor breakfast. Added few pictures to show the condition. Judge yourself if you want to stay there. Stained chairs and couch is totally disgusting. Staff was unfriendly. Asked for an hour to extend check out time but flatly denied. I am glad that I got out of this garbage hotel.

    Our room was huge and after a long day on the road, it was so nice to rest in a comfy bed. The location was perfect. Close by to restaurants for food. The continental breakfast was decent. It was hot and included oatmeal, breakfast sandwiches, pre-made omelets, waffle maker, and juice & coffee dispensers.
