I don't like that they force you out after 28 days. They say it's to prevent people from delaying residency using the hotel and from them having to evict people, but they don't have it on the booking.com site. So they changed my original booking after accepting the payment for the 30 day booking. Moving out for a night then moving back in is a hassle. I can't wait for my lease to start in September so I don't have to keep putting up with this.

Location Overpriced. Smelled like a nursing home in yhe room. 3 occupants but only 2 towels. Small bath counter. No bath accessories, shampoo, conditioner, etc. Window blind didn’t close enough for privacy, or open. Beds were very cheap and uncomfortable.

It was basic but that’s all I needed for one night. If I stayed longer there were amenities for me to cook and store food. I didn’t bring shampoo because I thought there would be some but no worries

The room was fine, but there were some people who seemed homeless in the lobby. It made me and my children feel uncomfortable.

Pretty average, some things in the room were broken or missing which wasn't much of a concern for my purposes but may be annoying to others. The general cleanliness was iffy but I didn't feel it was gross. They discounted me $30 for the missing utensil drawer which was nice and the staff were all very friendly!
- 5/5
Everything and everyone is absolutely top notch beds soft people are nice and knowledgeable location great management is A1...... as in Ashley is the one lol stay at the woodsprings u won't be disappointed

I was here for a week. Staff friendly and welcoming.
- 2/5
Front desk is close. Appointment only.
- 2/5
No hot water. Had to wake staff to check out (no information on early check out).
- 1/5
Front staff not helpful and just rude.
- 2/5
When I checked in, the front desk said they didn’t have any rooms left even though I had a reservation. They said they had two handicap rooms available but I couldn’t stay there bc I wasn’t handicapped even though it was 10pm at night. Then they said they had a room with two double beds but it was $50 more. They said I had to call Expedia, cancel, and then rebook. As many of u k ow that is not easy to do day of. They finally gave me a handicap room. U fortunately there was a lot of hair in the shower. And parts of the bed fell of in the middle of the night

Odor of cigarettes in room and hallway. Very outdated. Had a kitchenette with no cups, silverware, coffee pot. Nothing. One small bar of soap in bathroom.
- 4/5
Didnt like that the water wouldnt get very hot. Bed not very comfortable and only 1 pillow per person which was flat.
- 1/5
No smoking policy is out the door first thing you smell is weed and cigarettes which my son had a very hard time dealing with. Stayed 2 nights no one came to clean or add towels definitely not returning.
- 4/5
Overall good. The room was space and not as comfy as I would have hoped. The hallways are very dull and it would be great to see better decor. Affordable and ok

Conveniently located near shopping hub.

The mini kitchen is nice.
- 4/5
The room was extremely clean, but it did have a very weird smell to it. It may have been the cleaning products that were not that pleasant but overall it was OK.
- 4/5
The room was excellent.
- 1/5
Didn’t have a remote for the tv and they couldn’t find one. Shower rod was broken down . Just needed work in the room I was in
- 3/5
Loud guests who would hang outside and talk too long. Half the guests seemed to be travelers and half locals without a place to stay.
- 5/5

My veichle was stolen from lot. They had cameras on all areas of parking 24 7. There was no one watching the cameras between 10pm and 9am. When i told staff the following morning they sauud they would look at videos. All day long they havent looked at videos when i che ked out at 530 pm. Staff was busy getting ready for reps coming soon. I made a police report and the cops did not follow up ghe following day for camera footage. Do not park any veichles here. They have residents that stay long periods.
- 5/5
Very interesting establishment full of wonderful people management is the most important part of any company and to hear and see God-fearing people with big hearts running an establishment is a blessing
- 3/5
Low price
- 2/5
Smelled bad over all, It was for a college visit, decent location, No reception, reception is just a window, There was a kitchen, Fridege and Micro wave, but no utensils. We requested an early check-in but they wanted to charge $50 for a 45 mins early check in. They finally allowed me to check in without extra. This won't me first choice if I go to Champaign again.
- 1/5
Worst place I’ve ever stayed in. Reeks of smoke in hallways and rooms. No hot water no matter the time of day, which has been normalized there. Every negative review is correct, do not stay here. I feel awful for the folks who live here long term, because the hotel owners must think they don’t deserve better.
- 3/5
I had no hot water and was unable to shower which was upsetting since i stayed there to b on time for a important appointment.
- 2/5
Managers definition of a suite was different than mine, (being the beds separated from another part of the room) and would not refund the difference between a suite and non suite. Had some noise issues with room above have had rooms where the walls were thin, but this was more floor to floor. Youll need to ask for a hair dryer, our room didnt have it. TV was tiny. Good refrigerator and shower.
- 1/5
The 1st night the police were there looking for parents of a missing child. The weekend earlier in the night the smoke alarm went off and later on in the evening we were awakened by a fight that resulted in a car driven into the building and police activity.
- 1/5
The hotel is the worst ive ever stayed. The room smellled like dog. The bed was stained and looked like something from a garage sale. The staff seemed to be "high" off something. There was an actual refrigerator in the room, not clean, there was a hotplate or actual small "stove". DO NOT WAIST ANY MONEY HERE.
- 2/5
It smelled like smoke.
- 1/5
The room smelled terrible. There was no comforter on the bed. Would never stay there again.
- 2/5
No blankets on the bed Had to go get them. Nit a trash can in the room any where, and the water wasn’t warm enough to take a shower. We will never stay there again. Oh the bed frame squeaked loud if you just twitched and I’m a small person.
- 1/5
The clerk is one of the rudest people I’ve ever encountered. She doesn’t below in any customer facing position. The clerk and this smokey hotel give Expedia and WoodSpring a bad name.
- 1/5
Customer service was horrible, hots kept hanging up in my face I was not able to check in
- 2/5
The room was fine. The halls smelled of cigarette smoke and animals.
- 1/5
This hotel was filthy. It was noisy. Kids jumping and stomping in the hallway through the night.
- 2/5
Although close to an event we were staying overnight to attend, the Queen beds hotel room lacked bedspreads & blankets, the toilet tissue rack was broken, & toiletries consisted of one bar of soap. Despite proximity to the highway, it was fairly quiet at night, a good thing. We had to readjust the a/c as the room was frigid. I slept with socks on, due to lack of covers beyond sheets! The kitchenette included a full sink, fridge & microwave & the room had a sizable area to hang clothing, but there were just blinds, not curtains on the windows.
- 1/5
I didn’t even get to stay a night. They called me the day before the wedding that I don’t have a room anymore. They offered no resolutions and were incredibly rude on the phone. Very unprofessional. I will never give business to this company and urge others to avoid them as well.
- 4/5
Cleaning
- 2/5
Smells like cigarette smoke, there are dogs barking, people sitting in the hallways. Appears more like government housing than a hotel.
- 5/5
Overall no major issues. The 1 thing I did have a problem with was that the desk clerks would not replace full set of towels. Also my stay was myself and 2 kids (so 3 guests) i asked for a 3rd set of towels and was told no. Even telling the clerk to check how many are in the room. She insisted i got 1 roll of towels. Ive never been told no to at least 1 set of towels per guest. That is an issue that needs to be addressed!!
- 1/5
So glad to leave in morning. Just a little better than sleeping in car.
- 3/5
This property was a good fit for my daughter and her cat while her apt was getting cleaned. What you see on the site is a true reflection of the hotel. It was clean and reasonable priced. Win/Win
- 1/5
Shut this place down !!!! Not habitable, can't imagine this is still a running hotel
- 2/5
Liked nothing
- 1/5
Not a pleasant place, looks great from outside but the rooms are not good, floors were sticky, very poor quality of furnishings, definitely not with what I paid for it.
- 3/5
I was not aware prior to my stay that it was a extended stay suites, so there was a lot of activity around the suites, It was clean and the other guest were polite, just a lot of activity, people coming and going. My room was by the stair's door and my shower did not work and when i discovered it the front desk was closed.
- 3/5
Noisy hotel
- 1/5
At a loss as to how to describe this place acceptably without disparaging folks who might be down on their luck who stay there. The beds reminded me of beds in bootcamp. Dirty carpet in the corridors. Smelly elevator. Lots of noise from adjacent spaces. The place uses bleach on the floor as an air freshener (apparently nothing else is strong enough). An office that attempts to be secured against possible threats.
- 1/5
Only I have to stay is pictures not like room, and poor customer service
- 1/5
I could never checkin. They did not have any rooms available. Did not give my money back. I am trying to contact consumer services without success. I am extremely disappointed with Expedia
- 1/5
It was terrible
- 1/5
Our room was on a "non-smoking" floor. But, that is all we smelled the whole time. The beds were very uncomfortable, they felt like pull out beds, 2 smalls pillows each bed. Bath towels were rough. The room itself smelled filthy. They allow pets and all night we heard a dog howling/barking on another floor.
- 1/5
I found and killed multiple roaches. The room hadn’t been swept and there was no hand soap in the bathroom.
- 1/5
Not good
- 5/5
The staff member who checked us in was courteous, kind and welcoming!
- 2/5
Pillows are really thin and there where no extra pillows. My sheets were wrinkled and dirty. Tv is really small and the air unit continually made noise even it wasn’t blowing heat.
- 1/5
Had conformation and they would give room . No rooms for 45 miles
- 1/5
Guest service agent was very passive aggressive when I explain to her that the room was booked wrong I’m allergic to smoke but apparently because that was the last room that’s what they booked me in and when I explain to her that I couldn’t have a smoking room or be on a smoking floor she said to me ““ well that’s what she booked and said we don’t have any other rooms so after trying to get her to cancel the room so that I could go somewhere else she flung the door slammed it in my face and walked away
- 1/5
We went to hotel shortly after 11pm and the hotel denied entry to hotel to check in, the front desk was closed and there was a sign to use phone to access check in. They said they were fully booked even though we booked online around 8pm and had a reservation code. The hotel was incredibly rude and hung up on me and when I phoned front desk again they pretended to be drunk or under the influence.
- 1/5
There's no one at the front desk after 10 or before 11am so i left my key and a note. Never again will I stay without checking the ratings. I don't recommend it either. My Google review will be the same as this one
- 1/5
When I arrive they we not accepting reservations. so I had to find another place to stay. Please credit back the charge on my credit card since I could not stay there.
- 5/5
Awesome
- 4/5
Very clean, comfortable rooms. The bed was comfy and the staff was very friendly.
- 1/5
There were roaches in the room. We left a day early and they have refused to give me my money back
- 1/5
Rude and not clean place and have Roaches
- 1/5
We got therr and were told they do not do nightly reservations and was turned away
- 5/5
Absolutely wonderful and kind staff. Truly a blessing to have been able to stay here.
- 1/5
Roaches. Room I requested wasn’t available. Was made to wait for another room.
- 1/5
No hot running water - I got sick and had to go to ER. When this was told to staff response was go to soup kitchen to stay warm. Thus property is an apartment complex as there are people living in it , at least it seemed . Not happy at all with my stay there. My first bad review of any hotel to give you idea.
- 2/5
The check in took forever, and was very disappointed in the overall stay.
- 3/5
I was placed in a recently renovated room. They did a very nice job. The room was very clean, the bed comfort was just fine. I would have made it my go to place to stay (if I need to save money. Now the less than desirable part. There was no hot water in 3/4 nights. That made it unacceptable to me as a place to stay. When I inquired as to why, they said the hotel was totally booked and full. This is the status every hotel wants, and simply installing an "on demand" heat unit (s) immediately solves this issue. Also, there is no daily cleaning service/ emptying of trash. Its "make your own bed, empty your own trash, get your own fresh towels type if place, BUT it is less than the others. Personally dealing with the sheets, towel issue was not a big deal BUT having no hot water made this hotel a complete desk breaker. Also, I saw a few undesirable (drugged up young kids, asking for smokes, and that was still tolerable if you are a crusty old fart like me. The no hot water made this place unacceptable.
- 2/5
The property smelled of cigarettes. The front desk was not staffed 24 hours. They did not start until 10:00 am
- 1/5
The staff was friendly. However, the entire 3rd floor smelled marijuana. My room was horrible with cigarette smoke smell. Every time I entered the building there was loiterers asking for something. I did not feel safe there.
- 5/5
They have nice clean rooms the people that work there are nice and friendly
- 3/5
Didn’t have much time stay had to leave family emergency
- 2/5
I returned to hotel late in the evening. My key had stopped working. Had to wake up desk person, wait for her to come down in pajamas to rekey. No hot water, couldn't shower. Was told to run both sinks and tub for a long time until it came. Ran for 10 minutes, never came. Was not offered a partial credit.
- 1/5
My son flew in from South Carolina and we drove in from Indianapolis to visit his mother in the hospital. I booked the room despite the no-refund policy. (I kick myself for refusing the accommodations offered by the hospital.) I had to think back in time when I’ve stayed at a hotel/motel and been so uncomfortable. From the moment we checked in and noticed the desk clerk pulling double-duty doing laundry, it was obvious this was a no-frills establishment. When we got to our room, it appeared to be clean, however the stench of a smoking room was almost unbearable. We returned to the desk clerk who said that it wasn’t a smoking room. She said that couldn’t move us due to all rooms being booked. She offered a spray bottle of Febreeze. It did nothing to alleviate the odor. There was zero evidence of an interior designer. The bed frames were on poles. The floor was laminate. No desk lamps. No coffee/coffee maker. One piece of art on the wall. The one bar of soap was so small that it didn’t seem worthwhile to package it. The “kitchen” was a refrigerator, sink and two-burner cooktop as you enter the room. No cooking utensils accompanied the kitchen. I tried to find another room but since there was a University Of Illinois football game the following day, I couldn’t find another accommodation. I jokingly told my son that this is the “fool me once” motel. I would pitch a tent, sleep in my car or check into a homeless shelter before staying at this place ever again.
- 2/5
Absolutely horrible customer service right from the start. We checked in about 9:45pm as we arrived later in the day and grabbed food and drinks before calling it a night. Upon arrival, the “front desk” was open but we were told they were going to close so we’d have to call the number listed for after hour check in. Even though they were there. One of the girls checked us in after seeing the look of confusion on our face. While we were being checked in a very, very unprofessional employee was on her cellphone telling her boss she would not be responsible for counting the money for the day because she’s black and doesn’t want to be accused of stealing. Her feelings or not, that conversation should not take place in front of customer... Especially after blatant ignorance immediately upon arrival. We booked a last minute hotel for the homecoming game, so shame on us, but this place wasn’t even close to the $130 we paid for it. My advice is to bite the bullet and spend a little more if you can. Otherwise you’ll be very disappointed.
- 1/5
Dirty! Room had cockroaches and dirty towels. Do not stay here!
- 1/5
Rarely ever had hot or warm water. The staff had different daily rates. Had to make up the difference for two nights because I was undercharged. This goes back to the staff not being trained well. We had to kill many roaches in the room. We inquired about the hot water and we were told it’s been a problem since day one. We will never stay here again.
- 2/5
This was the basest hotel ever. The carpets in the hall were spotted with stains, there was absolutely nothing in the room that made me feel like a welcome guest. I will never stay here again.
- 2/5
Occasionally there was no hot or just warm water! Bed leaves alot to be desired.
- 4/5
Well i was very comfortable and the staff was very nice
- 2/5
This place ran out of hot water by 9AM and the heater would not refill until the next morning. When turned on, the stove smelled like burning plastic. The front desk hung up on me when I reported the deficiencies.
- 3/5
I could not get TV to work. I already filled in the staff. Even though it was a non-smoking room I still smelled smoke. It may have come in from outside through the ventilation system.
- 1/5
Teribble
- 1/5
Bed was very uncomfortable, carpet was stained and stuck to my feet. Also woke up two nights in a row with roaches on my face. Will not be back
- 5/5
Amazing Staff Very Clean
- 3/5
Try to check in early was told flat out no! It was 1:15 and didn’t even check. Was fine with it but when I came back at 3:08 had to wait 20 minutes to check in cuz they were doing a shift change!!!
- 1/5
A number numerous times when I arrived later in the evening. There were no blankets in the room and the bed was so hard.
- 2/5
The room was clean. The hall way carpet dirty. The noises coming from upper floor didn’t let me sleep.
- 1/5
reserved non-smoking and got smoking. Had to go elsewhere at 10:00 PM!
- 4/5
Etter than the last couple extended stay type motels.. kitchenette was clean.. clean towels.. beds clean.. not super comfortable but worked after work.
- 1/5
property was overbooked so I didn’t even get to stay there Stephen was rude spent till 1 o’clock in the morning trying to find a good place to stay and drive 60 miles away from my destination. Not a good experience with Orbitz or this property. Sincerely Tom Rich
- 3/5
Desk clerk was really nice. And it was quiet. There is some wear amd tare about theplace that i would get on top of as a manager, but over all my travelikg partner and i were to rest, shower and keep it moving the next day.
- 3/5
Friendly staff. Noise level was ridiculous from those staying above us. When we complained, it did improve. I wish I had taken photos.
- 2/5
I would consider this hotel “glamping” at best. But, we slept and the room appeared to be clean of any critters. Just not what the pictures online lead me to believe I was getting for my money.
