The hotel is located at Exit 5 off highway and excellent for access. Restaurants located in vicinity. Motel parking in front of the Room. I was in Room 106. The Staff were great. Breakfast good. Nice place to stay! ☆☆☆☆ Wasn't anything not to like.

Then the bathroom door dragged on the ground making it very difficult to open or close. The bathroom had no extractor fan (don't think that's even legal is it? - certainly not where we live!) and these was evidence of mold spots on the ceiling. Then the coffee make had no jug so completely useless. Bed was adequate, nothing more. Ok so it's a cheap hotel but there are minimum standards and this place didn't meet them. Would not stay here again or recommend

I frequently travel between New York and Texas. This is the always stay in the mid point.

The front staff was very efficient at check in. The beds are comfortable and the room was clean although there was a stale odor. Overall I gave them a 4 and would stay again.

Upon checking in, we encountered a locked front door, but the staff quickly responded to our alert. The room was cozy, with a comfortable bed and an exceptional walk-in shower featuring multiple settings and strong water pressure throughout the bathroom. We appreciated the proximity to a Mexican restaurant, which served fantastic margaritas and food, along with great music that unfortunately carried over into our room late at night. Although the blackout window coverings provided adequate coverage, they could be wider for optimal light blocking. The toilet's whistle upon flushing was somewhat concerning, but it did not impact its functionality. The staff's friendly demeanor and commitment to customer satisfaction were noteworthy. Given the hotel's affordable price and convenient location, we would definitely consider booking it again for future visits to Chattanooga.

Had to leave too early for breakfast to get through Atlanta before rush hour.

The guy said I could stay a different night for 30 usd in cash. The wholw thing seemed sketchy and not well lit.

Minimal staffing, rooms were filthy and major ant infestation. Also had roaches in the bathroom. Ants were coming out of the walls including the grab bar in the bathroom while I was taking a shower. All linens had stains ranging from yellow to brown. Hotel has potential as it appears updated inside but needs an overhaul and deep clean

OK independent hotel, there was a problem with the shower I couldn't get it to turn off, had to get housekeeping to sort it.

Hotel in a convenient location to the Tennessee Vally Railroad Museum. The hotel was clean and breakfast was adequate. The staff was friendly.

When I booked, I saw the property had a very high rating. Not sure where that rating came from, pillowcases were yellow, gray, and worn. One of the pillowcases had sketchy looking spots on it,Towels were also very worn and gray and the stack of two washcloths had the very clear imprint of perhaps a coffee mug. Which makes me think they clearly don’t change out all of the towels between guests.

We had asked for a floor level room due to my mother having health issue's and the guy told us he couldnt do it due to there not being any open. There were only 2 other vehicles in the parking lot. The towels, blankets, and sheets were very dingy looks like they need to be relplaced. Shower head was amazing best part of the room. I know its a cheaper room but accomidating your guest should be a top priority no matter the price of the hotel definitely when you only have 2 other people staying at the hotel

Not the best neighbor, tons of folks outside hanging around and smoking. Room smelled like an old ashtray and urine. Nice size room, however, the roll down shade and curtain need to be replaced, there was a at least a 6" gap form the wall window to the shade, they just need to be replaced, you can completely see in the room with little to no effort. Desk chair was broken, no were left to sit but on the bed. Super noisy and not a safe area.

The inn was great! Spacious room, comfortable bed and possibly one of the best showers I've had in a while! I can see why people keep returning here. I was a bit inconvenienced because my room was up a flight of stairs and i had to drag all my stuff up, but once I got to the room, I had no issues! One thing to note is that there's no real breakfast here. You'll get packaged muffins, donuts, digestive biscuits, yoghurt and juice. They were fresh, but not proper breakfast like some of the comments and the manager suggested.

Now, no place is without its caveats. This location is next to a busy road which you’ll find running rampant with the sound of modified exhaust well into the evening. The AC units are older below window style, so it pulls in the humidity with the air. And maybe this is a personal gripe, but the water tasted a bit over chlorinated. Maybe thats just how chattanooga's water tastes? I didnt get sick or anything, and i drank quite a bit, but it was definitely not a great mouth feel. Relatively small things considering the value of the room and the updated room amenities. Would definitely stay again!

The only thing I think could be improved at this property is refreshing the towels, they are clean but need replacing. The room is clean, bed comfortable, bedding clean. This is not a star property so guests should manage expectations. It's quiet, near shopping, management is nice. I was able to catch up on sleep which was my goal. They have direct tv and that goes out when it rains hard but good channel lineup. Overall good.

Reasonable price for excellent service

Very economical for a 1 night stay. Clean enough but shabby. Obvious attempts to upgrade but difficult to put a 'shine' on a sneaker. Would stay again for an overnight, but not for several days.

The room was relatively clean but there were a few stains on one of the beds and the bathroom had some hair in the floor. Also, the walls were a little beat up. It was a little hard to sleep at times due to the noise outside, and the neighborhood was not the prettiest, but if you need a cheap overnight stay this works. The staff was very nice. Had a problem with our TV and he came up and fixed it for us.

It was ok I was not used too the memory foam bed felt like I was sinking in the ocean but other than that it was clean and tidy

We’ve always stopped over to Athena on our way from Maryland to Mississippi and it never disappoints. It’s not a 5-Star hotel and is in a sketchy-ish place, but it’s always been safe and comfortable. My only complaint is the “Continental Breakfast” seems like the muffins are always served the same day they go out and that’s really not safe, but outside of that it’s a great One Night stop over.

Check in was quick and easy. Staff were very helpful and responded quickly and politely with a problem about the coffee creamer. Staff were very polite and helpful the entire stay.

However, there was a leak under the sink and a slight musty smell, one of the towels was dirty, and the shower was cold in the evening. I would still consider staying here again as they were short staffed and perhaps some things were consequently overlooked.

Was not expecting much for the price, but did not expect so bad with the most recent reviews seen. Bed linens they were stained and tattered. Wash clothes were stained. The coffee was horrible, undrinkable. The lobby smelled and was hot. Our door appeared to have been broken into at some point and horribly repaired. Room not cleaned well, floor dirty and used soap left on sink. Only positive note had great water pressure.

The front desk staff were friendly and helpful, adding to the positive experience. My only complaint is that the breakfast consisted of prepackaged snacks. However, considering the price, it was still a nice touch to have

Room was clean. Housekeeping was nonexistent. We had to beg for towels and wash cloths daily. If they brought towels and wash cloths it was just a few, not enough for everyone in our room. They also turned off the AC making it warm in the room when we returned. The breakfast was not a continental breakfast, packaged muffins and such.

You can tell the owner of this hotel really puts his heart and soul into it. The showers we read about in other reviews did not disappoint. Coolest shower I’ve ever taken! It was recently renovated so everything is very up to date. He has a cute little garden in the back you can tell is being hand grown. Would stay again!

One night stay on our way to our destination. We have stayed at this motel a few times. It is simple and no frills. Price is decent and rooms are usually clean and cool.

It was amazing great

I debated on how to rate my experience due to some challenges at check in. As we know, first impressions are everything. The desk worker at check in wasn’t the most pleasant and the lobby was locked (transaction was competed through a small window between entrance doors). We got to the room and walked in to a very pleasant surprise! The room was very modern and in pretty good shape. There was a large tv, cable, a microwave and refrigerator. The bed was comfortable to lay on, but not as comfortable to sleep on, that was just personal preference and does not reflect on the motel. The shower was upgraded, but not all of the nozzles functioned. I do not fault the motel for this. After check in we were not bothered by anyone during our three day visit. We were in the ground floor which I typically hate, but there was not excessive noise from other guests or environmental noises. If you factor in the cost of the stay, we got a phenomenal value for what we paid. Overall, I would stay again.

Room was smelly

The room looked great, and the shower head was unique. The shampoo and soap dispensers were empty, but at least they had a bar of soap by the sink I could use. It was right across the street from a Food City which came in handy

The behaviour of the staff was so weird and somehow disrespectful. Washroom was terrible! Not recommended to stay.

Need to upgrade the towels and bed sheet. They have stain and looks dirty. Also, they need to upgrade the mattress, and, dont left the A/C off because the room smell like a mildew and humid.

Had to do my transaction through a night window . It was after 2:00 p.m. The room was very big 2 queen beds. I was not prepared to add $100 deposit to my card. Which would be added back when i turned key into desk & for them to inspect. I still do not have it back on my card!! The room is not worth $170 if its not returned. The light breakfast area was nice. Muffins , cereal, milk, coffee fruit. The fruit loops were my favorite. Lots of chanels to choose from on the T.V. smoke free rooms

Amazing rooms and staff.

The shower was fantastic--good water pressure, instant hot water. Fairly new, good-flushing toilet. There was a long shelf along the back wall and an office chair giving me room to put my stuff to fix food and to put my laptop and briefcase. Fast internet. Refrigerator and microwave. TV was on a 6' long double shelf on the wall that gave more room to set things.

The bed was really bad. I felt like I was falling down hill. I suggest that the mattress are turned over once a month.

This hotel was quiet and comfortable. Allows pets for a reasonable fee. We were traveling to pick up a puppy a long ways from home and it was very nice to be able to stop and rest ourselves and the puppy for the night.

I always stay here every time I visit Chattanooga. Not the best neighborhood by the looks, but I've never ran into any problems there. Motel itself is really good. Beds are comfortable, amazing showers. Breakfast could be better, but it's free so I can't complain.

Interesting policy with deposit/credit card but I get it, even though it was 1 am I read the whole thing and it made sense. Nice basic breakfast. Also, super fun showers! They got five knobs (I won’t explain).

Very comfortable stay. The neighborhood is not fancy but did not seem unsafe to us. The management worked with us to get our truck and trailer parked where we could see them and to provide us with a first-floor room. Would stay there again.

You get what you pay for. Beds were comfy, room was clean. Lots of highway noise, and children playing in the rooms above us. Linens were grey and dingy. Check in was a nightmare.

This has always been our go to place when traveling to see family in Maryland. It’s the half way point between their home and ours. It doesn’t look like much from the outside but the beds are comfy and the shower is amazing. Don’t be afraid to stay just because of the way the outside looks! It’s a safe and comfy place to stay! My only complaint would be the check out time. I wish you could do late check outs like 11:30 am or 12pm but you have to check out at 10 am. Other than that we’ll be back in a few months and can’t wait.

Convenient as a one night sleepover from Toronto to Fort Lauderdale. Needed a nice place to sleep and this worked. 2 Queen beds. Clean room. Great shower! Wood flooring (no stinky carpet).

When I first pulled in I was a little worried about what I reserved because the location was almost at a dead end street and it felt a little sketchy but after being there the first night wasn’t that bad. Rooms had some size to them and the 4 of us were comfortable. I would rent it again.

Looks like they are trying very hard to make this a nice place, is a motel with only a cess to rooms via parking lot, and can feel unsafe for some. Very noisy place at night with city traffic and emergency vehicles.

Not the cleanest place, room service is super loud in the mornings while cleaning neighboring rooms, breakfast wasn’t a breakfast, bed had hair on the sheets. Lastly, we found a cockroach in the bathroom.
