Excellent location, right off I-24. This property was very clean and the staff were friendly and professional. The only area of improvement is the breakfast. The sausages were totally burned (black) and the biscuits were burned on top as well. The cook either tried to juggle too much on his own, or needs more instruction. He tried, but this was not very appetizing. Otherwise, a great experience!

Rooms clean and modern. They let us check in super early! Breakfast was very underwhelming. Had only two hot items some sort of ham that looked like bologna and eggs. Super small, I booked this room only because the reviews stated that the breakfast was great. It wasn’t at all. All I ate was some bread.

Neither of the two televisions worked upon arrival. Only one of the 2 televisions was fixed a couple of hours before we checked out the following day. Meaning we were without television the majority of the time spent here.

The location is good because is close to Ruby falls. Is a driving distance but for the lower cost is the closest one. To no stop the surprise was close to Rock City too so no was in my trip plan so we added in our itinerary. Of course after all that walk the priority is resting and the hotel is perfect silence to sleep.

It was a basic hotel, nothing special about it. Paid way too much for the value. We weren’t in the room much, but there was no central light. 6 light sources in the room, each with a separate switch. The outdoor pool looked dirty & grimy, albeit it was before Memorial Day.

We had a nice stay. The room was clean and large, the breakfast was good and the staff was helpful. My only issue was the tv. I could never figure it out so I gave up.

Also, I thought that I have a hot tub in my room when I booked it. We’re looking forward to soaked myself after we hiked for 5 miles.

I booked this room for my parents so they could have a small getaway. I was a little nervous since it was so affordable. My mom texted after getting into the room and said the lobby and staff were great and then went on and on about how nice and clean the room was! She said it smelled so good and would love to know what they cleaned with. My parents are in their 70’s and also mentioned that they felt safe and the hotel was very convenient to downtown and the river which is what they wanted. We will all be back!

Room was clean, staff was nice, breakfast was good. However it’s advertised as having a pool and hot tub. It has 1 room with a big bathtub and a seasonal outdoor pool. Before booking this is not made clear, then we were not allowed to cancel or change. Forced to stay due to no refund instead of finding somewhere the kids could actually enjoy. The front desk just said “oh yeah, we need to change that”. Properly advertising the amenities and not giving people the ability to change reservations when the deception is disclosed. I won’t book through this app again my only filters were pool and hot tub. We ended up with neither and very unhappy travel party.

The room was very small and bathroom counter almost non-existent. Beds were comfortable. The breakfast was okay but yogurt was light(with artificial sweetener only). Overall okay but we could hear traffic in our room all night.

The room was clean and comfortable, and the checkin staff was friendly. There was a small issue with a " fire alarm" that occurred at 1 am. Evidently, no staff was available to turn off the alarm, and the fire dept. actually responded and turned off the alarms. Not a happy event to wake up guests at that hour for a test and have no staff present. A daytime test would serve better, maybe.

Limited to no hot water!! We decided to stay two nights for a wrestling tournament despite only living in Knoxville and each night the water was so cool to lukewarm it was almost unbearable. I wish we would have just made the drive home instead of paying hundreds of dollars to stay here.

My wife and I stayed for two nights at Comfort Inn, Chattanooga. It was the best stay we have had over the last 2or 3 years. The hotel, from the front door to our room, was immaculate. A pet peeve of mine is how the hallway carpeting looks, telling me a lot about their cleaning habits. The carpeting was in excellent condition, bright and cheerful. The staff was so nice and helpful. The breakfast was nice. Our room was awesome. If I rated it one to ten, I would give it an eleven.

We found a few roaches and apparently so did the room next to us.

The property was clean. However my room was clean to a certain extent. Upon arrival, I noticed several strands of hair on the floor by the tub and two strands on the toilet seat. I don’t trust staff to do a thorough cleaning job so my clorox wipes and lysol came in handy.

On a good note, the desk staff was great,and the young woman cleaning our room was exceptional.

Room is very clean the cleaning crews did a great job, the front desk on other hand is very unfriendly, no greeting and the rudeness, when we walk in they were 3 behind counter, no greeting from all 3, they were so busy talking to each other, after waiting one of them point us at the young man, she indicated he’ll check you in, Mean time she went right back to have her conversation with her co- worker. She need to be train on how to be customers friendly, or remove her from front desk. I’m not sure if she just rude to me?. Or other has complained about this lady before, in my check in si many hotels, I have never in counter a front desk customers service so rude… this my first time. I can tell you next time I’m in Chattanooga I will not book at this location. Her attitude was not what customers service should be.. she continued to be rude to me. The young man that finally check us in. Asking me for my credit card, I asked him why he need my credit card because I’ve paid online. That’s seem to pissed of the lady even more. I should have to right to question it. Since I just left holiday inn express, when I check at holiday inn express they didn’t asked me for my credit card.. and by the way. Holiday inn express has so much better front desk customers service. They greet us when we walked in. And smile can goes a long way when customers entered your hotel… bottom line you need to retain your employees. Or maybe these peoples hate their job.

Clean, friendly staff

Downtown is within a 20 minute walk but we couldn’t find any footpaths/sidewalk to walk on hence we had to drive a mile and pay $11 to park and get the free electric bus around North and South side.

The area where the hotel is seemed a bit run down and I had concerns about if parking was safe, but car fine in am. Breakfast had eggs, sausage, juices, cereal, waffles, anything you could think of and area was clean. Staff were attentive, friendly and helpful. Room was clean and quiet.

The parking lot and hotel always felt safe to me. The hot breakfast was good with plenty of seating and everything was clean. Room was spacious and clean, the bed was comfortable and the hotel was quite. I was on the second floor near the stairs. If I work the convention next year I would stay here again.

Liked the location, close to downtown but didn’t like the air conditioning in the room, it would cut off and on not cold at night. Hotel was rushing to close breakfast station at 9am

Asked for a tall at front desk and was told I had to go to my room and bring dirty one to receive another. That’s a terrible policy and even worse customer service. Also was instructed that I could not pour water into my travel cup by rude employee that handled breakfast service. We appreciate you having us but will try a different hotel next time we’re in town.

Very clean, quiet area, and very comfortable bed. The A/C wasn't as cold as we would have liked, but it was a hot day. The hair dryer in the room didn't work which we didn't discover until just before checking out. We stayed in the King Suite which was a good size for the three of us.

Very good location for the activities we had planned. Was a bit disappointed on the breakfasts. The cooked items, sausage and eggs, were overdone. The other items were okay.

Centrally located between Charming St. Elmo and trendy Southside. Comfortable bedding, quiet, super clean. Although not in a walkable area, St. Elmo and Southside are mere minutes away by car. There’s a brand new Food City grocery 0.8mi away if groceries in the mini-fridge are your thing. Super wonderful staff, easy check-in process.

4.5/5 everything was good aside from the comforter? Idk if that was a comforter because the top sheet is not smooth and it has holes looking like a curtain and not top sheet. Overall experience was ok and bfast was enough.

The young man that checked us in was awesome! Welcoming and professional. Unfortunately the room was not clean. There was hair, tons of it, in the tub and the toilet. The sink and mirror were dirty too. The bath mat was not fresh. I went to the lobby but they were low on options. I went to the store and bought cleaning supplies and cleaned the bathroom myself. The next morning I spoke with a manager. She was rude and disinterested. I was appalled by her attitude the two times I had to talk to her. On day 2, I noticed drops of blood across the carpet. Carpet is darker so I missed it initially. The breakfast was good. The gym was rough. No cleaning supplies and it was not cleaned in the 3 days that I used it! The beds were comfortable.

Breakfast guy is awful and rude. He closes by 830 and hours are till 9. If you ask him a question he will yell at you. Had front desk lady pounding on my door at almost 10pm to tell me to lock my door. She just kept pounding louder and yelling front desk louder and louder. I had spent almost 2 hours rocking my baby to sleep. She woke him up. Pool is okay, just kinda dirty from being outside. The area is pretty bad, but where the hotel sits there’s nothing around so had no issues. I wouldn’t chose to stay here again due to the breakfast staff.

The front desk staff was always nice The breakfast was extremely lacking, and the man in charge was extremely rude. He really put a damper on our stay. He would start taking everything away and turning it off 30 minutes before it ended and when you asked he would yell at you that you need to come earlier. My 3 year old autistic son needed a cup, and unknowingly grabbed a cup of hot coffee which spilled all over him. The man’s response was to shake his head and hands in anger. If it wasn’t for him, our stay would have been 5 star. If you have young children who enjoy the breakfast I would avoid this hotel.

The AC unit is from the 1980’s and very loud. We had no shower curtain. The bathtub faucet was leaking. The beds were not horrible but a little on the firm side which is fine with me. The pool was filthy. Otherwise the property seemed cleaned. I would have liked to have been greeted upon entry since we were the only ones at the desk at the time but the lady behind the desk was training someone which I understand and sat there a minute before being greeted.

Only downfall was that online said they had cribs, when we got there they said they didn’t have any and never did have any. So that was very disappointing. It was one day stop and everything was great. If you are looking for a good place to sleep, this one is the best. The bed was really comfortable. Everything was clean and breakfast was good as well. Service was fast and helpful.

The hotel was ok... The rooms were not clean. There was an old chicken nugget under the desk when we checked in. We were gone all day one day and the room did not get attended to. Not even the trash taken out. When I went to the front desk to ask if our room could be cleaned around 3pm, the staff at the desk said "We don't do that." I asked her to clarify and she said they don't clean the room for short stays. That would have been understandable if the check-in staff would have given us the understanding that the rooms would not be cleaned. The lady at the front desk was not pleasant at all. Anytime we had to go to the desk for clean towels she talked to us from behind the wall. Not even coming up to the desk to greet us. Not professional in how she carried herself. Not welcoming at all. I would not stay here again.

Great stay for the price

This property was just 6 minutes to downtown which allowed us to take advantage of the downtown dinning and activities while avoiding the congestion of staying downtown. The staff was very friendly, the breakfast was decent as was the pool. It was clean and quiet and the whole family had fun.

Old but okay

The location says "downtown " but it actually isn't. There aren't any restaurants or shops within walking distance. The place appears clean, but the third floor, and our room, smelled awful. Several things in the room need maintenance, like the tub faucet, the refrigerator froze everything and no wa to adjust it. The worst was the unfriendly staff who didn’t greet, didn’t smile and were obvious about not wanting to be there. The breakfast worker was curt, rudely stepped or reached in front of huests, snapped at people who didn't know how to work the waffle maker, and he unplugged the food warmer 45 minutes before breakfast was over, indicating he was ready to leave. He kept things clean, and stocked, but his attitude was very unwelcoming. I wouldn't choose this hotel again. A dog on our floor was left alone in the room all day and yapped continuously. At least the desk called the room but no one was there to do anything about it.

Location coming up! 10 years ago would not have stayed on that side of town! 1 mile walk to town. A little pricey for that location. Nice, clean, staff personable and modern large rooms. Nice continental breakfast and coffee 24/7. Would definitely come back and stay as felt safe, comfortable and a great atmosphere.

Rooms dirty, recliner dirty, no pool, no outside sitting for guests, breakfast was horrible, staff unfriendly. Staff walking around smoking outside.

That said, the mattress was incredible! Probably the best we’ve ever slept on away from home! Better than those in upscale hotels/resorts we’ve visited. 5 stars for that! Bathroom was small. You have to go all the way in and maneuver yourself in order to shut the door. We stayed over Easter weekend so hopefully they will be finished before summer travel. My advice before booking is to call the hotel directly and ask them straight out if renovations are completed!

Convenient but outdated

We had a very comfortable stay. The staff were friendly and the breakfast was pretty decent for a hotel breakfast. The hotel was being updated during our stay so there was a strong smell from what I assume was the new carpet. Also the water was not hot in the shower and the pressure was week. Probably just needed adjusted after the updates. We were in a room close to the hwy and there was some low level highway noise all night. But that's to be expected for any hotel close to an exit. I found the hotel and room very clean, which is a top priority for me. I would stay here again.

The hotel staff was very nice and courteous. The hotel was going through renovations, and parts of the hotel were dirty, but I wont count that negatively toward the review. The shower could've been hotter. There could've been a couoke more options with the breakfast, but the sausage was really good, and thank you for that!

We checked in and clerk was great. Got keys to room, got to room and unloaded luggage. Checked out the room and found a box of half eaten wings, empty drink bottle, cup on nightstand that was sticky, and a credit card. Went to the front desk and showed pictures to the clerk. She did apologize. She moved us into another room. The clerk was very professional and apologetic.
