This hotel is stunning. I rented the room for my daughter's prom night so she was in walking distance to her venue. I ended up booking a second room while staying here. The hotel staff was so nice and helpful. The rooms are spotless, bathrooms are great, beds are comfortable.
- 5/5
This hotel was amazing. The staff were very professional and friendly. Every time they saw us in the lobby they made sure they asked if we needed anything and how our stay was going. The hotel is absolutely stunning. The beds were comfortable, and the rooms were spotless. You can walk to nearby restaurants and shopping. Highly recommended!

Second time we’ve stayed here and does not disappoint. We particularly enjoy the location next to the art district. Excellent service and staff.

Spectacular property with beautiful views and close to great venues. The on property restaurant and bar area were just as good. Our suite was spacious and had a outdoor patio and views of the river.
- 4/5
There is no valet to help with luggage. Food was way too salty in restaurant for dinner. Breakfast service took way too long as there were only about two other tables occupied. Location was five stars.

Loved it! Beautiful hotel. The staff is wonderful! Valet staff was exceptionally wonderful. Fresh waters in the car when delivered, trash taken out, just exceptional service. Dining was wonderful. Not sure I understand why the restaurant is closed on Mondays, but still a great experience. We will definitely stay again.

Room was clean, they had food/water bowls for my pet, the location was perfectly in walking distance between the aquarium and the art museum, loved being able to use the bikes for a bike ride across the bridge.

Beautiful hotel. Great staff. Very nice and clean.

Was not aware of New Year's party till we arrived. So roof top bar was unavailable both days we were there. No TV in the downstairs bar... so either had to leave the Hotel or sit I. The room.

Guy at Front Desk lost his cool and yelled at me because he had no answer for request I had for bottled water. Literally challenged me to come down and meet him in office for an altercation. I love this hotel but this was one of the worst displays of service I have ever witnessed.
- 5/5
Everything stood out to me. The cleanliness and hospitality of the staff were wonderful. Shoutout to the staff working in valet and the whitebird cafe. Lovely experience(;

Clean, great staff, close to anything you would want to do in Chattanooga.
- 4/5
The staff at the on site restaurants are amazing. Especially T at white bird
- 5/5
Whitebird is delicious and the staff is extremely helpful. The rooftop bar has great views! The sitting room off the rooftop bar is a fun and relaxing spot to hang out. All the staff have been welcoming, kind, and resourceful. The rooms are clean, smell amazing, and the CO Bigelow tolietries are a fun touch. Highly recommend this spot!!
- 5/5
Hotel was very nice, good area, and the front desk receptionist was extremely friendly and welcoming when we checked in Sat night
- 5/5
Always love staying at this place. The location is killer....walkable to many things that we love including Rembrandts coffee.

Love the Edwin hotel in Chattanooga. Beautiful hotel, great staff and wonderful amenities. Will definitely return! !
- 5/5
WE LOVED EVERYTHING ABOUT THE EDWIN. WE ENJOYED BOTH THE ROOFTOP BAR AND ROOFTOP POOL. THE STAFF WERE EXCELLENT.
- 5/5
The place is very nice and the location is perfect.

- 5/5
The hotel is beautiful and the staff was extremely accommodating.
- 4/5
We had an overall positive experience, but the pool area was lacking in upkeep. We requested towels, but unfortunately, they were never delivered.
- 5/5
All we need is the pedestrian bridge fixed!
- 4/5
Convenient location, didnt need ti use car.
- 5/5
The property was beautiful, and the staff were amazing!
- 5/5
Quick check in process for 3 rooms. Staff eager to help!
- 4/5
The location is right at one end of the Walnut Street pedestrian bridge. Unfortunately, the bridge is closed until late 2026, and the hotel does not mention this on their website. Boo! Nonetheless, it's only a few blocks downhill to the aquarium, and a short climb over a cool overpass to the Hunter Museum. Lots of local artwork. Some of it is pretty good. The sheets. The view. What's not: The price. When the bridge is open, it's worth it. Road noise. The termostat in our room required the hotel "engineer" to operate. You had to press the up arrow off center instead of where the red arrow is. Odd. A hotel that charges this much should replace it.
- 5/5
A real gem, I forgot the pedestrian bridge is closed for renovations but when it’s open you can easily walk the best view in Chattanooga to the park where all the shops and restaurants are. Absolutely awesome Italian restaurant a block walk away and a great little coffee shop with every baked good you would want.
- 4/5
We had an unfortunate experience at the hotel bar, The Whiskey Thief. (Now we understand the basis for the name.) The bartender recommended a whiskey for the two whiskey sours we ordered, never mentioning the price. It cost us $44 for two drinks. Needless to say, we felt ripped off!
- 5/5
and convenient location.
- 5/5
fantastic staff and fine dining
- 5/5
Location is great, and hotel staff is nice.
- 5/5
This place is amazing. Of course it’s beautiful and has an awesome rooftop bar with the best view of the river. But the best part is the staff. The most helpful and pleasant staff I have ever encountered. Book it! Stay here!
- 5/5
Everything was great.
- 5/5
The hotel was very nice and I will go back soon.
- 5/5
Beautiful property! Perfect location & wonderful staff. Room was gorgeous! Clean, very comfortable bed, spacious bathroom with high quality bathroom products. Restaurant & rooftop bar both stylish with fabulous views of bridge & river. Delicious food too! This hotel is in the best location for both the Hunter Art Museum & Chattanooga Aquarium. Look forward to staying at this lovely hotel again.
- 5/5
Excellent hotel, we’d highly recommend!
- 5/5
We had an amazing time from checking in to checking out!
- 4/5
Room service quick and tasty. Leaving early am., above and beyond service, opening up coffee shop especially for us, to provide drink and food. Overall checked all boxes for our long across the country trip.
- 5/5
Our mountains girl had great stay. The hotel is more like an art gallery. We loved it.
- 5/5
Beautiful setting overlooking the vibrant river walk area! Very comfortable rooms, and a fantastic rooftop bar with a great view and delicious food options. Highly recommended!
- 5/5
Perfect location for a post Christmas getaway.
- 5/5
Great atmosphere. Super
- 5/5
Loved our stay
- 5/5
This place was awesome. Roof top bar was on point.
- 2/5
I had booked King room for our company Christmas party well in advance. When we checked in we were told there were no King rooms just double queen. Keep in mind I paid extra for the king, no mention was made of crediting us for the price difference. Fortunately I pushed back and asked about the King I had reserved well in advance. I was told that the hotel was overbooked and they are asking guests that booked a king if they would stay in a double queen instead. This is much different than the initial interaction, where we were told that they were out of Kings, this little slight of hand didn't sit well with me at all. Shower was gross mold in all the cracks and crevices and curtains had holes in them. 1st time I stayed I was double billed for our bar tab, but gotten taken care of with our credit card company. They put a $100 hold for incidentals and told it will be credited back when we check out, took 4 days before I saw the credit. Valet upon check out was just as underwhelming as check in. Way to many other options in the area considering the price.
- 4/5
Parking was pricey but very convenient valet parking. The restaurant was fantastic. I was very impressed. The bar was also really nice with an incredible view. The only complaint we had was the noise. We could hear the conversations of the rooms on either side of us. Thankfully they were not loud people in each room who stayed up late, but if they were it would have made for an unpleasant stay. The reason I removed a star for this is the hotel description says “sound proofed” and maybe it is for the outside, but definitely not so for the inside

Love the art deco design. A beautiful hotel.

Beautiful property

- 5/5
One night getaway. Enjoyed the room and area around hotel is perfect. Breakfast was average and recommend going outside of hotel.
- 4/5
Close to the walking bridge
- 4/5
It was in perfect proximity to the Hunter Museum where we attended a wedding. But, for sucha new, upscale hotel, it needs better sound insulation
- 5/5
Nice room. bed and pillows very comfortable. Loved the hotel and rooftop bar, pool and gym. Great location.
- 5/5
Love everything about this hotel! Highly recommended!
- 5/5
Loved it
- 5/5
Very nice hotel:)
- 3/5
Service was slow and personalities were not friendly. rooms were dusty with mildew in shower . The Wine at restaurant was old and had a bug floating in it ( and I did not dine outside ) . Lovely property and views but for the high pricing it should’ve been More up to par. I loved the local art spread throughout and all the modern touches and panoramic views . Lighting throughout is very dim
- 5/5
Artful rooms and lobby. Enjoyed the Whiskey Thief views and friendly service.
- 5/5
Excellent staff service was excellent rooms are clean and very beautiful restaurants/ location is excellent
- 5/5
Great
- 5/5
Outstanding hotel near the Aquarium and the Hunter museum. Staff seemed devoted to making our stay as lovely as possible. Breakfast at the restaurant was great, there is also a coffee shop for quick breakfast. Many other places to eat within a 15-18 min walk.
- 5/5
We loved the walkability of crossing the river right there at the hotel. Also easy walking to museum or aquarium. Hotel staff, including valets, always courteous and helpful. Onsite restaurant better than you'd expect for a hotel and early coffee service greatly appreciated. If we ever go back to Chattanooga, this is will be our place again.
- 5/5
Amazing stay! Staff were all so friendly and helpful, accommodating. Valet were all so sweet and quick, respectful. Felt pampered the whole time. Loved the water on tap on every floor and the ice available. Our favorite perk was the FREE BIKES from the hotel! Take advantage of those, they were so fun! Super nice bikes that were a breeze to snag and ride! One of my favorite bikes I’ve ever ridden! It was the best experience all around and we were sad to leave!
- 5/5
we love to walk and we love bringing our Labradoodle with us on vacation. This place is spot on for that. About half the people staying there have pets and they’re very cool dogs too. The staff is super friendly. Just be aware that the pool on the roof is a plunge pool. We were kind of expecting a regular size hotel pool. but the property made up for it because the restaurant there called the white bird serves fantastic food and has excellent service. Staying here. We’re already making plans for our next trip there in a few months.
- 3/5
To charge me twice for the room and have a additional charge for incidentals is excessive
- 5/5
So far everything great
- 5/5
Great
- 5/5
We were dressed very casual because we had been hiking and were just arriving and though it may had not been intended but the desk manager came across as snooty and aloof. Everything else was wonderful
- 5/5
Great location and very friendly staff. Easy to get to local attractions and dining.
- 4/5
The staff was first rate. When the room we originally contracted for was unavailable and we were unable to change (as the hotel was sold out due to a holiday celebration) the staff was apologetic and provided treats to help make up for it. Service in the dining room was equally excellent during dinner.
- 5/5
I have been there for cocktails before but I have never stayed over night. The staff was so nice and friendly. I loved Joe he helped us out with the luggage. The room was beautiful and clean. I also loved the shower and the robes. The cute little ice bags were nice. It was convenient to the restaurant and coffee shop. The rooftop was nice it was my first time going up there. I would definitely stay there again
- 5/5
Great stay , everything was seamless with the check in. Super clean, restaurant The White bird was delicious. Great location was able to walk to movies restaurants museums and aquarium. Staff was friendly. Right off the river.
- 4/5
Wonderful service!
- 5/5
Excellent hotel and staff. 5 stars. The only place I will stay while in Chattanooga and will seek out their hotels in other cities.
- 5/5
What a lovely hotel! We had a wonderful experience, and highly recommend the hotel as well as the restaurant.
- 5/5
Loved the proximity to everything. Enjoyed the roof top pool, fitness center, water bottle filling stations, roof top bar, coffee shop and lobby restaurant. Especially enjoyed the sitting areas and fantastic books that were everywhere. The hotel employees were full of personality and so helpful.
- 5/5
Location was amazing
- 5/5
Love the rooftop bar. Can walk to museum and bridges. Neat area.
- 5/5
Loved the 5th floor view, food, and vibe. Plus the bridge, ice cream shop access.
- 5/5
Beautiful luxurious hotel. Excellent service and accommodations. Highly recommend.
- 4/5
Clean and modern hotel. Awesome views of the TN river.
- 5/5
Ju a very nice stay
- 5/5
Great place to stay, probably one of the best overall stays I have ever had. It’s expensive but the service and stay are worth it, they deliver the service that you pay for, they do not cut corners. Highly recommend …,
- 5/5
Perfect for a quick getaway
- 5/5
Lovely check in. Valet was GREAT offering to charge our car for us over night… amazing! My only complaint should be that the hotel is massively over fragranced— to the point that it makes you wonder what they are trying to cover up. They absolutely should tone down this scent for a less offensive welcome experience.
- 1/5
White bird: Delicious and great service Our room: Not good. The shower drain is clogged. During a shower the water backs up into the shower and floats up brown chunks of stuff from inside the drain. The toilet runs nonstop after it is flushed. The room as a whole is very worn with a broken bathroom mirror, broken light fixture over the bed and cheap toilet paper. This is not a 5 star room.
- 5/5
Outstanding hotel, well located.
- 5/5
Stayed here for a milestone birthday weekend. Staff went the extra mile to make it a wonderful experience.
- 5/5
Lovely stay for our anniversary ❤
- 5/5
Beautiful hotel-very friendly and helpful staff.
- 5/5
Beautiful hotel!!
- 5/5
Absolutely loved our stay here. Beds are super comfortable. Also enjoyed having a few great restaurants in house. We will be back!!
- 3/5
For a five star hotel the cleanliness was lacking majorly. The shower had mold in it and soap scums all over the shower door and sink. Mediocore amenities and not worth the nightly rate. I’ve stayed at five star hotels before and this is more like a three star hotel.
- 5/5
Fast check in, nice bedding!
- 5/5
Best hotel in Chattanooga
- 5/5
Very good location and roof top bar has a wonderful view
- 5/5
We always stay here when we visit family in town. Love the style and location of the hotel and especially love the scent in the lobby. We bought a candle to take home with us on this visit. Coffee shop in lobby is excellent too.
- 5/5
Very nice piece
- 5/5
Excellent staff
- 5/5
Great location!! Beautiful lounge on the 5th floor overlooking the Tennessee River! I hand no idea how much Chattanooga has changed in 30 years! Rooms immaculate and the staff was very well trained!
- 2/5
Checked into our room and noise was immediate. Entered roof top pool area to find pile of dirty towels and broken chairs. Went to front desk to request clean towels and was told housekeeping would be right up. Waited 25 minutes, nothing. Decided to go and try and relax at rooftop bar. Sat down ordered a drink and was told we needed our ID. Explained we were staying at hotel and they were in the room. Told we could charge anything to the room without identification but we absolutely couldn’t get a drink. Watched other tables with guests clearly over 21 have the same experience. Upon checkout we requested a printed copy of our receipt and we’re given a copy to find charges to a master card not ours and a different amount for our stay than what we were quoted on Expedia. If you want to spend $400 a night for a 2 star hotel experience, this is your place. Otherwise pick ANY other hotel in downtown Chattanooga and at least the price will match the experience.
- 5/5
Wow just wow. Amazing property. Breakfast was an art form. Delicous and looked pretty. Art all over makes you feel like your sleeping in a very comfortable gallery. Greta job to the staff to accommodate the small issues i had definitely recommend.
- 5/5
very clean hotel. very fun and artsy atmosphere.
- 5/5
Fabulous property! Highly recommend!
- 5/5
This hotel is perfectly located to all Chattanooga has to offer. Gorgeous views of the river and 10 steps to the Walnut Street Bridge. Fab rooftop bar. Highly recommend
