Great clean property, staff was very helpful

I reserved a room for my sister and her best friend for Friday, May 29th so they could enjoy a wonderful downtown experience for her birthday. When she checked into the hotel the woman who was at the front desk was rude with her and condescending to her for no reason. She didn’t even point them in the direction of their room or tell them about the amenities offered at the hotel. I expected better since I have stayed at many Westins before and enjoyed it every time. Paying 250 dollars a night should get you a better attitude and a better customer service experience.

The view room shown on the website is misleading. It’s a lounge / bar that had a dress attire requirement. I was thinking you could sit and sip some morning coffee and enjoy the views that was not the case. We had views of the downtown buildings from our room on floor five. . A little dissatisfying. The shower leaked all over the floor causing a slip hazard and room was still dirty with crumbs on the floors. The beds were comfortable however and clean from what I could tell. I would say for the price you can definitely find a better place to stay. Maybe one with a view.

Loved the area of this hotel, super walkable. The staff was professional and super friendly especially Aaron and Sunny at the front desk. Will definitely stay here next time we’re in Chattanooga! Oh and our dogs loved it too. They had a dog walk out back with bags and grass. Thank you!

Beautiful hotel however an alarm went off at 230am causing all guests to evacuate and not 1 employee addressed us or directed us to any further instructions. Was not very pleased with that as I was awake for the night.

Everything was excellent.

Room was outdated; no bed liner; refrigerator didn't work; the shower handle came off the wall; the fire alarm went off at 2:30am and had to get up and walk outside in cold weather. The cost for a nightly stay is not worth it.

We enjoyed our stay at the Westin. The room and restaurant were great. The front desk and valet staff were most helpful. We will definitely return!

Outdoor patio furniture needs a refresh. Only 2 sets of towels in bathroom for 2 people. Need a bit more. Ice bucket cheap..handle came off spilled ice in ice room. Refrigerator not very cold.

The 2 blonde young women working the bar were fabulous! Spacious shower. Restaurants nearby. Great location. Valet n busman service fantastic..great breakfast in restaurant. Pool area wonderful. THIS HOTEL IS PROBABLY THE BEST IN THE CITY. WE LOVED HOW FAST THE ELEVATORS WORK, NO WAITING TIME - THEIR ROOF TOP TAPA'S BAR IS BEAUTIFUL WITH GREAT VIEWS. LOCATION IS PERFECT TO WALK DOWNTOWN AND ACCESIBLE TO THE FREEWAY. THE STAFF IS SUPER NICE AND WE LOVED OUR STAY ALL WAS GREAT EXCEPT THAT THEY HAVE TILE REMODELING WORK IN THE LOBBY SO THE MORNINGS WERE VERY NOISY. THEY KEPT IT TO A FEW HOURS A DAY SOIT WAS NOT TOO BAD.

The room was spotless. The staff was excellent. The valet staff was extremely friendly. We stay here every year for my husbands company party and will keep coming back

We chose this hotel for the EV charges that they have but valet had let some big truck with a trailer behind it park there. So we could not charge our vehicle. We paid more to stay here for this reason alone since there were just as nice hotels that were cheaper but did not have the charges. The interstate road noise was awful also. Will not be staying here ever again.

Loved the stay, beautiful hotel. The only thing, they were short on was bell boys to help with cart and valet parking, took approximately 20 min, there were 4 people waiting for their cars. But everything else was great!

The room was quite nice. The bed, however, was too firm and In some places I could feel something hard through the mattress; the pillows were like balloons. They were flat but filled with air. Whatever happen to the Heavenly Bed...? This was far from it and made the stay less comfortable. For that, I would not stay there again.

Staff was very friendly, atmosphere was great and the room was very clean. Only one concern (thus giving 4 stars vs 5) - housekeeping broke a bottle of cologne while cleaning the room/bathroom and didn’t make mention of it (couldn’t be missed, as it was laying on the side of the sink/toilet when I returned). Outside of that, everything else was great.

Our stay at the Westin was simply amazing. The room was large with a gorgeous view overlooking the city (it was their standard room). The rooftop bar was a treat and we were given complimentary drink vouchers. Lots of dining options in the hotel and walkable nearby. Service was top notch from beginning to end. Honestly was well worth the price for the hotel without even considering the nearby attractions. Will definitely stay here again.

Location, good size rooms, good food options I liked everything, it is a four star hotel do I would expect everything to be nice I’m not sure that it was worth a $100 more per night over several other 4 star hotels located on Chattanooga.

We booked a certain room with Expedia and I don’t know if Expedia messed up on it, but when we got to hotel the room it looked completely different. It wasn’t as pictured on Expedia. The Westin itself is a nice, clean hotel. Just disappointed in the room we were given, not what we booked.

The Barn Door style bathroom door was terrible...It offers virtually no privacy and the lock got stuck with my wife inside. Had to call building maintenance.

I like that this property was centrally located. It had a nice rooftop pool and the staff was friendly. It's within walking distance of great restaurants. Nice large lobby and outdoor sitting area.

Great place, location & staff. Only complaint is if you get a room close to the interstate, it is extremely loud. Sound machine, fan, ear plugs are a must. Other than that, great place!

The Westin was a pleasant surprise for my staycation. From the weekend entertainment, the bar and food, I absolutely had an amazing time. The staff were so friendly and welcoming and it was so quiet in the hotel. I also enjoyed the pool, that is something that I rarely do when I go to a hotel. I would highly recommend you choose The Westin Chattanooga whenever you are in Chattanooga, TN.

A nice typical Westin hotel in downtown Chattanooga. We had a partial city view. Walking distance to many downtown locations. About 2 blocks from the main downtown area. The hotel was very busy during our weekend stay. 1 night the patio was closed due to a private party. Our room was comfy not too small. However, our 3rd floor room was noisy from people below on the hotel’s patio. The bathroom fan didn’t work. The bathroom door didn’t close all the way nor lock. Nice lobby with free fruit/infused water to quench your thirst. Valet parking only at $28 per night + taxes!

Great heated pool even on a cold night

First time in Chattanooga and choosing the Westin was the BEST DECISION!

We drove 13 hours that day with a moving truck to arrive at the hotel at midnight. We were absolutely exhausted. The parking lot was empty. I called 2 times to let them know we were arriving late. When we arrived, we were told we couldn’t park on hotel property with our small moving truck and valuable art collection inside. The area off premises was unsafe to leave the vehicle unattended in an area without cameras so we had to leave the property and find a new and safe hotel 30 minutes down the road. We have stayed at this hotel a few times in the past but never will again. The staff was not accommodating at all. There were large busses and trucks in front of the hotel so I’m not sure what the problem was. We also told them if they allowed us to stay, we would leave early in the morning and too generously. Never again will we give this hotel our business.

*The biggest issue we had was the shower leaked water on the floor, which had been happening for awhile cause the trim was all swelled up.

Cons: When the a/c came on it made a loud noise, much louder than it should have been. Whether parking across the street or valet, there is a charge to park. As much as they charge per night there should be free breakfast included

Our Chattanooga experience at the Westin was white-gloved excellence. From the front desk with Sunny Massey (who graciously gave us complimentary breakfast because it was our daughter's birthday and upgraded our room to a corner Mountain View) to our delightful night of rest and rejuvenation, everything was a 5-star experience! The hotel has an upscale resort-style feel with three dining options, a rooftop pool and bar, live entertainment, and numerous gathering areas with fire pits and comfy seating. The staff was friendly and accommodating and our room features were high-quality, clean, and aesthetic. I'd stay at this particular Westin again in a heartbeat. Well done and well worth the money.

First time at a westin hotel.I loved every minute of my stay from checking in at the desk to checking out.

Perfect stay

The property was amazing. However the only reason I booked to stay there was to have dinner and drinks at the rooftop bar but upon checking the guest care manager informed us that it was closed on Sundays. Not only that but it was Father's day. Why would they close such an amazing view on a holiday let alone weekend day? Also we walked from the hotel to the Pickle Barrel and three different vagrants stopped us to talk about their stories. I don't carry cash on me so we were of no assistance. There were homeless people everywhere. This was honestly very odd because the downtown area seemed very posh with many boutique style shops, restaurants and bars. The city really needs to do something about that.

Didn't have to wait at all for valet parking. Check in was pleasant. Amenities offered were great. Property appeared well maintained, but you need an arborist to inspect, diagnose and treat your specimen variety pine trees. They look diseased and a few appeared to be dying. Unfortunate, because they're a lovely style of tree not seen often. The room was outfitted nicely. The lavender balm was a nice touch. The bathroom was spacious. Shower setup felt like an upgrade. Room a/c was nice and cold. Mattress was soft. Bed was like sleeping in a cloud. Didn't hear a sound from the hallway. Slept like a rock and it was much needed. Entire experience was noteworthy. I'll definitely stay again.

The property was a 10/10, from room views and setup, to activities on campus, service, restaurant and overall vibes. The pictures are short of what it actually looks like and I LOVED every moment.

I loved the valet service 24 hours. The area around the hotel was safe and quiet. Everything we wanted to do was in close distance to the hotel. The hotel itself had all the amenities we needed, also.

Everything was perfect. We’re locals and booked the stay for my daughter and her friends to get ready for prom together. Once the girls were off to prom the girl amenities and atmosphere was the perfect wind-down for the parents 😊
