The room was clean & staff was friendly & helpful. The walk from the parking ramp was an inconvenience because I am mobility impaired. I made it, but it wasn’t ideal .
- 4/5
Great location for going to the theaters or Art Institute.

The room was small and outdated. Clean-ish and no coffee maker,I don’t drink expresso. Parking lot was 3 blocks away but the discount for parking was helpful. I wouldn’t stay there again.

Overall good but the rooms and especially the bathroom was a little small. Good value however

Great location and hotel was perfect for my needs. Love the purified water with sealable bottles!

All was great, while it is an older buoy it’s well maintained. The bed was comfy. The restroom and shower are small but all worked well. My favorite part was the bottled water and machines in hotel makes it so convenient

I loved my stay here! I was new to having a room key on your phone to use for the elevators and room but thought it was easy and convenient. There was no need to check in with staff when you get to the hotel if you check in online and have your room key on your phone but there was hotel staff at the front that happily greeted me upon arrival anyway and made sure my room key worked properly on my phone. I also appreciated that there was always friendly staff coming in and out of the main area of the hotel, no matter what time it was. The room was smaller but was to be expected being downtown in a city like Chicago. It had everything I needed, was comforable and very clean. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend to anyone wanting and affordable, pleasant stay in Chicago while also being in a great location within walking distance to the hot spots downtown. Bonus is being only a short walk to the train that brings you back and forth to the Chicago O'hare airport! There's a cute British bar/restaurant connected to the hotel that was a bit pricey but had great service and some yummy drinks and food. Thank you! The only downside was how thin the walls seemed to be as you could hear noise and commotion from other rooms and the hall at all times of the day and night. However it didn't bother me enough that I wouldn't stay here again.
- 4.5/5
it's an older property but very well maintained and clean nice bed and shower fantastic staff, very helpful the discount from 67 to 28 for parking is noted! nice restaurant next door as well nothing

When walking into the hotel go to the desk to see the clerk because I went to the kiosks first and was able to type in all my information for the room and then paid for the room I reserved and then went to the clerk and they said I still had to pay for the room even tho I already paid and I showed them the payment through my bank but they said they didn't have anything shown in their system that I paid. After 15 minutes of being on the phone with my bank and the clerk. The original payment was refunded and I had to do the whole process a second time. Also my room didn't have a mini fridge due to there not having anymore available so it was a bit difficult to keep my refrigerated medicine cold.

We arrived on a Sunday night and quickly discovered that finding food nearby was going to be more challenging than finding extra floor space in the room. Unless you’re a fan of vending machine cuisine, plan ahead. The hotel was clean and the staff were pleasant, but between the premium price tag, miniature room, and beds that felt more like upgraded camp cots, the overall value just wasn’t there for us.

The room was very clean. Bed was comfy. The Nespresso in the room absolutely topped it off for me! The husband slept like a baby and everything we needed was available. The water dispenser and water bottles by the elevators are super convenient! Never had we seen anything like that but that was amazing. Very thoughtful. More than likely will stay here again!

The staff was super friendly and accommodating. We arrived late and had three different bedrooms, and they helped us make sure that we had everything we needed. We were able to use the business center for a gathering space for our family. The hotel rooms are pretty small and the furniture and room amenities are a little dated, but honestly this wasn't a problem because everything was super clean.

Later that night we mentioned the TV wasn't work properly and the person at the desk said they would need an engineer to fix it. There was also a constant "thump" sound every few minutes. Not sure it was construction or what Room service was good. Guest services was better after the first night. It was ok

This is about the 5th time i have stayed here. Each time the cost has increased. The bread pudding in the restaurant is to die for. Grab yourself a slice.

In a great location. Easy access to public transportation.
- 5/5
There is a restaurant next door (Elephant and Castle---British pub style with sports TV) that sells very good breakfast, lunch and dinner. I had dinner there some months before I found out about the Club Quarters hotel. If you stay at the hotel you can access the restaurant through a door with your hotel key card and charge meals to your room.

The hotel and room was pretty standard for a hotel in downtown Chicago. There was water stations on every floor to fill water bottles, the staff was very friendly, and there was self-service check-in & check-out. Only negative was the doors to the rooms were very loud, louder than other hotels I’ve been at and it felt like all hours of the night and early morning people were coming and going with slamming the doors. Sleep wasn’t as great bc of it but not much you can control besides other guests trying to not let the door slam.
- 4/5
Before I arrived, I had already checked in and paid a deposit. However, when I arrived, they had some trouble fetching my information. Hence, I would not recommend others to do the pre-checkin. Some people were waiting for the laundry machines, but the hotel provides dry cleaning as well. The staff were pretty helpful.
- 4/5

- 3.5/5
The location is excellent, on the same street and minutes away from the Art Institute and the Willis Tower, easy walking to other parts of downtown, train stations are nearby and lots of places to eat nearby. The staff were friendly and helpful. Having the Elephant & Castle pub next door was very convenient for food, especially after coming in from our flight and the food and service was good. We didn't have breakfast there but I think there's some kind of deal. The bed was very small. We're British so we're not expecting a massive American bed but this was small even by our standards. The facilities otherwise are fine but basic. The walls are very thin and on one night we could hear the person next door talking very loudly on a speakerphone til late at night and then again from 5am (!!) It's not the hotel's fault that this person was particularly obnoxious but we could hear everything he was saying and even what the person on the other end of the phone was saying so maybe the sound proofing could be improved.

I was traveling with my mom, so finding a room with two twin beds at a modest price was perfect. Beds were very comfortable. Room was smaller than average, but had a good size closet if needed. No microwave or mini fridge, but did not need. My only complaint was the Nespresso machine. There were three capsules total. The machine sounds like a portable air compressor running. Selecting the large cup selector made a shot glass worth of coffee. Had to press button twice to fill the tiny cups provided. Also would have been nice to have tea available. They did have refillable filtered water bottles/dispenser on every floor.

- 5/5

- 2/5
The bed in room 734 is very uncomfortable and I felt like I was falling into the middle. I didn’t sleep well at all due to hearing water running, dripping or flowing in the wall. Kept me up all night.
- 4/5
Good, well-run, mid-range hotel. Nothing fancy but plenty of room, everything very clean, staff helpful, and gets the job done. Good for passing through, as location is excellent in midtown near Art Institute, parks, and transport.
- 5/5
Room was very clean, bed and pillows were very comfortable, complimentary water bottle with fill station in every floor. restaurant and lounge open until 2am. Although we did not get to experience it. Parking was expensive but Adrian helped us get a discounted rate at a nearby parking lot. It was secured and well lit. I accidentally left my purse behind and called them immediately once I realized and thankfully they found it and I was able to pick it up immediately. Pets stay free just make sure you let them know as they use a certain floor for pets but even though it was used for pets it was exceptionally clean.
- 4/5
Breakfast was confusing...it was a completely different business next to hotel I was not aware of weather I had breakfast with my room...and even if I did I sat there for 20 min and was never greated..left and went to do next door
- 4/5
I liked the water station on every floor , the hotel had an attached bar in the lobby and a work area. Beautiful view from my room and nice staff They allowed unhoused individuals to loiter around the property, made it feel unsecured especially during the night hours

The staff was fantastic! While the hotel shows its age, it offers good value for the price. The professionalism and extra effort from the staff compensate for the limited amenities. It’s situated in a great location.
- 2.5/5
Quiet, clean, good location for Chicago loop. Room was freezing cold, wasn't told heat didn't work until we called the front desk. Had to wait for delivery of blankets and a heater. No desk lamp. Electric outlet for desk is very hard to reach. Housekeeping did not come at early time we requested, they arrived in the afternoon when I was trying to take a much needed nap

- 2/5
Bed felt like it was 2 decades old at best, springs felt throughout and saggy. At check out, same thing, directed to kiosks. At no time did anyone from the staff offer a welcome or ask about my stay. Convenient location, but price not worth what is actually offered at the property.
- 2/5
Very small room with weird smell. Staff is useless and just wants to get rid of you. You hear everything going down the hallway and rooms around, no noise insulation in the room. Super loud air system. Miniature closet and bathroom, even smaller than European standards!
- 3/5
The hotel however, is in a great location and the restaurant downstairs was awesome and the staff was super friendly. The lady that works at the front desk in the morning, was not kind at all, she was literally yelling guests " use the terminal to check out!!! Seems like she doesn't want to help anybody regardless of how much money they charge guest to stay at the Club Quarters. I will no recommend anyone to stay at this hotel. they need to focus in cleaning the rooms better and in better costumer approach from the front desk, folks, specially to the lady that yells to people.
- 5/5

- 4/5

Small and old rooms. Coffee pods were used and not refilled. Price was expensive for the quality.

Beautiful and central property with amazing staff who will make you feel comfortable. Elephant and Castle restaurant attached to the property offer fantastic menu and amazing vibe
- 4.5/5
I work conferences at McCormick Place. & hotels with big ballrooms. I have stayed at the other (Mich Ave) CQ and both venues seem like good values. Great location for restaurants & transportation. Hope to visit again. The place I usually stay (Hotel Jaslin, in Chinatown) was charging ridiculous rates for high occupancy weekend. Your rates seemed modest and perhaps not so volatile compared to others. Chicago was busy that weekend and every hotel was charging premium rates. Not your fault. Just working on my own dime, rather than an expense account, was more costly than anticipated.
- 5/5
The refillable water station on my floor was really nice and made a huge difference on my stay. Very convenient

Because of these issues, we decided to leave after only one hour and could not continue our stay. I would not recommend this hotel.
- 5/5
Excellent location and price!
- 4/5
Breakfast was bland and limited. Ironing board was set up in the bedroom with a clothing rack that was unattractive.
- 5/5
Facility was clean and the staff very friendly. Rooms are a bit on the small size but I believe that is pretty common in these types of hotels in the downtown area. Unfortunate that they don't offer 2 queen beds but that is due to the room size. Did not care for the opaque/privacy glass on the bathroom door. Unable to turn on bathroom light during the night without completely illuminating the sleeping area. I guess that isn't a problem if you're alone in the room though.
- 5/5
Great check in and check out experience

There are many cafes and restaurants close by and it’s very close to the major attractions, e.g. The Art Institute. The room was clean, comfortable (great pillows) good shower and had a Nespresso Coffee Maker.
- 4/5
This is a great option for business travel. The rooms are small and basic, and lack some amenities that are standard in other hotels (like a mini-fridge, though you can request one). The hotel overall is dated, though well-maintained. But everything is clean, the bed is super comfortable and there is a good workspace and wifi, there are significant common areas where you can work, and the price is always right. The front desk staff has been consistently kind and helpful, and check in and check out are a breeze. I recommend Club Quarters and will be back again.

Lovely staff, basic clean room, great location in the Loop. Halls are a little sad, no safe in room to store valuables when out and about. The vending machines don't seem to get restocked. We did appreciate the refillable/reusable water bottles and filling stations.

it would be great. If the Checkin process would be easier and the emails to send. The digital card works correctly, so I don’t have to wait in line for the front desk to give me the key.
- 5/5
Clean room, great WiFi, good area and around many places to walk around.
- 5/5
The check-in went pretty quickly. My room had a big as comfy bed and the pillows at this place are always fantastic. No microwave or fridge, but excellent coffee. Great Wi-Fi too, and free water bottles with fill station on most floors near the elevator.

- 5/5
Central location close to many services, including transport.
- 5/5
Literally one complaint and it’s that there was no fridge in our room. Maybe we could have asked for one but we didn’t so that’s on us. Staff were awesome and very friendly. Great location.
- 5/5
Lovely room. Great location
- 5/5
This location is close to everything I needed
- 5/5
Great location for walking to the theater to see Hamilton. Super easy check-in and our room was comfortable and clean. The staff were all very nice. The attached restaurant, Elephant and Castle, was delicious. We ate there for both dinner and breakfast. They sent us a link to pre-pay for parking the day before our stay, which was very helpful and made our arrival and departure very smooth. Would definitely recommend!
- 5/5
Great breakfast.
- 4/5
Pictures are a little deceiving if you get a room that is a bit older, especially the bathroom. Really small. Our room needed new carpet (lots of stains).

- 5/5
Clean room, courteous staff and excellent facilities - meeting room and coffee machine...only demerit was the lack of a bureau in the room (vs a mini-bureau in the closet).
- 5/5
I liked it. The staff was also very welcoming.
- 5/5
The room was great. The staff got me checked in super quick. I love this place's atmosphere. Plus, their complimentary water bottles are first rate.
- 5/5
Speed checkins and checkouts. Awesome espresso coffee and cleanliness
- 5/5
Awesome!
- 5/5
Nice nice nice
- 5/5
Nicely done
- 5/5
We were very much impressed by the quality of service and the hospitality of the staff. I will recommend Club Quarters to all my associates, family and friends.
- 3/5
Very nice staff. We didn't like the bathroom door in glass.
- 3/5
Room needs a microwave in a refrigerator other then that I was satisfied
- 5/5
Geeat location, water bottle/machine were clutch, had everything we needed for a wknd getaway
- 2/5
Room was kinda dirty (stains). Could hear everything through the walls and walking down the hallway. Also room service walked in on us 2 hours after check in.
- 5/5
This hotel had the easiest check-in and checkout process ever. I also loved that I was able to screencast my TV directly from my phone. These too things made my stay very comfortable and accommodating. The room also looked just as it was advertised online and was very clean.
- 2/5
The hotel is a 2.5 or three star hotel, at best. The biggest reason for that rating is how outdated everything is, but most importantly the bed. Boxspring mattresses, I spent two horrible nights with very little sleep. I get it, it’s an old hotel. The staff is friendly, but somebody needs to come in and rescue it in the first thing they have to do is put new mattresses in.
- 4/5
Good average hotel and room a little bit expensive for what they offer
- 5/5
Once you realized there is a kiosk for check-in, this is done quickly. The lobby was nicely done. The room is compact but adequate. The mattress was better than average (but could be better). The pillows were very nice. The shower was easy to enter, and the flow and temperature were easy to control. Everywhere it was clean. The windows were double glazed and kept out most of the street noise. There's a decent restaurant two blocks away (Berghoff's) and a quickie (McDonald's) two blocks the other way. Although we didn't use it, the hotel has parking arrangements with a deck two blocks south. We plan to stay here again next time we're in Chicago.
- 5/5
Great stay! Thank you.
- 4/5
The stay was good. The room is small but understandable for it being designed the way it is. Aside from that it was a great location from most things downtown. Only downside is not having a parking garage apart of the hotel itself as well as not having a valet.
- 4/5
The staff was very friendly. The room was a bit dated
- 5/5
Clean room, friendly staff. Within walking distance to a lot of downtown restaurants.
- 5/5
very nice staff
- 5/5
Staff was really friendly. The place was very clean and great location!
- 5/5
Awesome
- 5/5
very spacious
- 5/5
It was a very nice room layout, comfy interior. I asked for utensils to eat my takeout and the receptionist gave me.
- 5/5
Recently stayed here a couple days ago and our experience was great! even had our room upgraded upon arrival free of charge. Staff was friendly and was near many good places to walk to! would definitely stay again!
- 3/5
Very small rooms, but very friendly staff and walking distance to everything.
- 5/5
Staff were super helpful, room was nice, had a superb stay.
- 5/5
The room was a bit ‘worn’ but the bed comfy, it was quiet, & the staff friendly. I appreciated the large co- working space & gym. This will be my go to when staying in Chicago.
- 4/5

- 5/5

- 4/5
Rooms are small but cozy. Lots of character and friendly staff. Attached restaurant has good breakfast, pub food and nice selection of beers.
- 5/5
Rooms are small but that's expected. Amazing location for the price and super comfy bed.
- 5/5
Great location!
- 5/5
It was quiet and clean.
- 4/5
Everything was great the parking was very difficult and not so convenient to the area.
- 1/5
I was robbed by house keeping and I was dismissed entirely until they checked key card logs and saw she went in the room 3 times with large gaps in between. Then a manager was supposed to call and never did. The rooms are also filthy. Blood on the walls, bathroom door, stains on the bathroom floor, walls, etc.
- 5/5
Front desk girl was very helpful
- 5/5
Nothing
- 4/5
Friendly staff. Parking options.. good restaurants within walking distance.

- 4/5
Nice hotel, just wish it was bigger. But nice! Great location
- 3/5
Not clean and dnakl
- 5/5
Clean room, great price and super friendly staff.
- 4/5
Great location. Easy check in and out. Polite staff. Confortable and clean. Few amenities, but a great place for the price.
- 1/5
I informed them a week prior that I did not mean to book this stay, it was done by mistake since the app selected those dates and they refused to cancel and refund even with ample time to book for someone else, absolutely unacceptable
- 5/5
When I want to shop in the Loop and attend concerts at Symphony Center, the Adams Street Club Quarters is perfect. There are numerous bus stops nearby also if I want to visit other parts of the city.
- 5/5
Friendly and professional staff.
- 5/5
Quiet. Fantastic location. Friendly staff.
- 5/5
Great stay here as always. Very convenient option within walking distance of Amtrak station and Loop stations. Great working spaces if you want to get a cup of coffee. Service from staff was warm and welcoming. Will definitely plan to stay here again!
- 5/5
Perfect for the price. Location was great, room clean, bedding and bed was really decent, and I’m picky on that. Lobby was nice and the employees were friendly and helpful!
- 4/5
The room was spotless, cozy, and the perfect temperature. Unlike other Loop hotels, it was soundproofed! Or seemed to be. The El was never heard during our entire stay. Incredible! We loved the pub grub and have recommended it to friends. We’ll be back!
- 5/5
Great location
- 5/5
We love Chicago and we visit often. Every time we visit we stay at CQ. We love this hotel and for us it’s part of the experience. It’s so close to everything, rooms are spotless, staff is great and responsive to our needs. We love the complementary water filling stations on every floor, the awesome coffee machine in the club living room (oh, the espresso!) and The Elephant and Castle pub connected to the hotel where we finish our days full of adventures! Everything is just perfect! Love CQ! ❤️
- 4/5
Clean room and location was perfect for my wife and I.
- 2/5
The check in process was hands off- they basically want you to check yourself in, which means there was no explanation, no warm welcome, no hospitality whatsoever. Our Nextdoor neighbor was smoking leafy greens all night and being obnoxious. The hotel staff did tell them to quiet down around 2:30 AM, but did not mention the leafy greens. The front desk workers had a line at their “hands off desk”- probably because the guests never have their questions answered due to the “hands off” service. Hospitality should be just that- hospitable. The rooms were not clean and a little questionable. It was also extremely small. The only reason I gave this a 2 star- the location was perfect. The L is down the road and the bus stop is just around the corner.
- 5/5
great location and price (December) Clean rooms and nice staff
- 2/5
We had Lost a pair of shoes. We had checked o it of the room and checked in to a different room. We forgot our shoes in the process of checking out. We left the shoes in the room. Front desk and manager were informed but they didn’t seem to care and had “stated” that the shoes were thrown in the garbage when one of my pairs of shoes was in the same bag as the other ones that were lost but mysteriously only my shoes were found. Front desk were very polite and nice but the way to deal with this situation wasn’t acceptable.
- 5/5
Great hotel
- 4/5
Room and hotel was beautiful. Would have given 5 stars but the check in person was extremely rude. Employee got an attitude because I didn’t call to notify that I would arrive past the check in time. Once he noticed I did not like the way he talked to me, he tried to be nice and say it’s just “standard hotel etiquette”. Where I come from hotel etiquette is to be polite and professional. It should not matter to the guy at the desk what time I arrive, it’s not pro rated regardless. Pool is right in front of room so it is loud, can hear pool filter all night and people all day. Very crowded when people are around pool. People had to move their pool lounger for me to leave the room. Valet for cars and safe parking garage with security monitoring was nice.
- 4/5
Staff was great. Room overall was clean and comfortable.
- 3/5
Room was nice but VERY small. Chair and bed and that it. A cruise ships cabin is bigger than their room.
- 5/5
The room was just right. Comfortable oasis in a bustling heart of downtown. Wish I had stayed longer to make the most of the location.
- 5/5
I had an interesting and ultimately positive experience. The occupant next door to the room I originally booked was creating a disturbance and so I went to the front desk to be moved. The front desk associate was very sympathetic and was able to accommodate us in a different room. I ended up having a very pleasant stay because of her.
- 5/5
Good location, quiet room, comfy bed
- 5/5
Excellent customer service love the energy and will always stay there when I’m traveling there and having a full floor just for traveling with my dog is awesome
- 5/5
Great staff
- 5/5
Clean room, friendly staff, convenient location, walking distance to Millenium Park.
- 3/5
Room was small but fine. Getting the elevator took time and what looked like the main elevator didn’t function at all.
- 4/5
Coffee machine in room but no coffee, tea, etc. One has to go to the basement for coffee or tea. No hot chocolate. Seems like an easy seasonal fix. For years every floor has had filtered, chilled water dispensers with bottles to go; that’s a good thing!
- 5/5
The front staff is always welcoming, and I always enjoy the water station and clean room
- 1/5
Room was dirty, old and incredibly hot. Horrible stayX wouldnt recommend at all
- 4/5
Clean and comfortable environment
- 5/5
Easy and fast
- 5/5
Had no breakfast
- 5/5
The front staff is always great, and super helpful
- 4/5
Room was clean, staff was nice
- 4/5
Yes
- 1/5
Bugs in the room
- 5/5
The room was simple yet sweet!
- 5/5
The room was cleaned and stocked at my arrival. I arrived early and staff checked my bags so I could retrieve them at check in. The hotel is conjoined with a restaurant and if you have breakfast included, you would go there for an english styled menu. I'm 6 foot 4 inches tall, and like most hotels the bed is a little short for me. The hotel reception was also very helpful when I asked for directions to alternative breakfast places.
- 5/5
Very nice place ! Definitely worth it !
- 5/5
Clean and comfy room with great location
- 5/5
Room was quiet and clean. Staff were super kind and helpful. Wonderful weekend getaway!
- 4/5
A better and kinder guidance by the reception would be appreciated.
- 5/5
We were able to do early check in without any problem, staff was friendly, room comfortable and clean, the hotel is in a very good location
- 5/5
It is great!
- 3/5
Elevators take a pretty long time and the set up of the rooms/hotel is a little odd. The thermostat was stuck and it was pretty hot in the room and not changeable. But nice location and everything was very walkable. Employees very nice and easy check in. For the price, very good value.
- 3/5
They didn't clean the room through out my stay.
- 5/5
Great staff, good location, close to transport and attractions
- 4/5
Room need be work for cleaning. Bed and bed cover does not have standard cleaning
- 5/5
Very polite and helpful staff, good location. Nice room. Generous breakfast.

- 4/5
Great location
- 5/5
nice and cozy
- 5/5
Clean room, very friendly and helpful staff
- 2/5
Tiny rooms but friendly and convenient
- 5/5
Very friendly and helpful staff, cute & clean room with a great coffee machine in the room, wonderful amenity of having a restaurant in the building that’s open early for breakfast. Excellent location!
- 5/5
Great stay, close to to cta , bus stop right in downtown
- 5/5
everything went well smoothest transition into checking in
- 5/5
Very easy to check in and out
- 5/5
Staff is very helpful and courteous. Room is clean and love the coffee/tea availability 👍
- 3/5
Toilet in my room had a broken part. In the night I woke up to about a centimeter+ of [toilet] water flooded in the entire bathroom. Maintenance came by to fix it by replacing a part, but the toilet continued to run and we had to manually make it stop during our entire stay.
- 3/5
This is not a 4 star hotel by European standards. I had to insist to have the room serviced and despite asking for everyday room service they came in 2 days from a 6 night stay. Room is small with a very dusty carpet on the floor and bathroom needs renovation. The best part about this hotel is the location.
- 3/5
The rooms don’t look anything like the pictures. I booked the standard room with a queen bed and received a room indescribably tiny (had to hop over the bed to get to the other side of the room) with only a single window. Was not very cleanly. Staff was lovely and location was good too. It’s a cheap hotel so can’t expect much.
- 5/5
Great room and enjoyable staff and amazing coffee!!
- 4/5
Staff was great. Good location, especially for Union Station access. Love the bottled water dispenser!
- 4/5
Courteous staff, clean room and a comforting sense of security.
- 5/5
Carpet was stained but the room did it’s purpose
- 5/5
Clean room with a Nespresso!
- 5/5
One of the fanciest rooms I've ever stayed in. The staff was helpful, and there were even these water bottle stations on my room's floor. The TV has this special setup with all kinds of info one might need. The showerhead has several different settings, which is always nice for those of us with neck problems. 😀
- 5/5
Very courteous staff. Great location. Clean room.
- 5/5
Great area and space
- 2/5
The staff seemed stressed. Not very helpful at all. Parking is terrible. Dirty towels. Elevator didn't work properly.
- 3/5
Room was in ok good condition. Staff were neutral. Amenities were so so and the room was pretty dark. But overall it was okay! Would prefer another hotel, but decent for the money.
- 5/5
Yes. Everything was great. Especially liked the bedding. Clean and comfortable.
- 4/5
Clean room. Nice staff
- 5/5
clean & good staff
- 1/5
The shower has a small ledge separating the shower from the floor. There is no slip proof shower mat in the shower and the shower curtain is a flimsy piece of plastic, thus when taking a shower water sprays onto the bathroom floor. After showering, I slipped on the wet bathroom floor and hit my head on the bathroom sink resulting in a deep gash over my eye, a black eye and splitting headaches which I believe to be concussion related.
- 5/5
Great location, marvelous staff, just what you need and nothing you don’t!
- 5/5
I had no issues
- 5/5
Staffs are friendly. Location is great
- 5/5
Rooms here are dependably clean and staff are always courteous. It helps that there is a restaurant right next door for food service.
- 4/5
All was good and staff was friensly
- 4/5
The people at the front desk were all very friendly and super helpful. The room was good except we could not adjust the thermostat so the room stayed too warm for our liking. Other than that the hotel is very nice.
- 5/5
Excellent staff. Very clean room. Wonderful location for accessing restaurants parks the lake shopping. My preferred lodging when visiting Chicago.
- 4/5
Great location and good budget friendly hotel
- 1/5
My stay was not great. The room was not updated at all. The bathroom tile was definitely from the 80s and when I took a shower, water covered the entire bathroom floor. The AC did not work either, it was set to 69 and I was hot all night. I checked the air vent and nothing came out. I would never book this place again. I only stayed 2 nights and that was enough for me.
- 1/5
Requested a king size bed and got a queen. No a/c
- 5/5
Loved everything
- 3/5
Room was nice, i just didn't expect the king side bed to be 2 twin size mattresses. Me and my girl kept sinking in better the middle.
- 4/5
easy walk from Union station, lots of restaurants in area
- 5/5
Great location at reasonable rates
- 5/5
Totally happy with experience
- 5/5
Staff friendly and helpful. Easy check in. Will stay again! Location and amenities!
- 4/5
The rooms were dated and tired, with beds being satisfactory.
- 5/5
Great location! Nice Staff!
- 5/5
Clean room; helpful staff. A fan in the bathroom would be nice but otherwise great
- 5/5
Loved the room and the proximity to the Auditorium Theatre.
- 3/5
The room smelled musty/funny when I entered. I figured it was just an old building my colleagues also staying at the hotel said their rooms were fine.
- 5/5
It was a pleasant stay
- 5/5
Adriana is the best.
- 5/5
I travel alone and this meets all my needs. Clean, comfortable. Make-up/shaving mirror excellent.
- 5/5
good staff service
- 4/5
The hotel was in a great location, and was affordable. Definitely no frills, but the check in was easy and we felt safe. The mini fridge in the room didn't work, which we didn't notice until after we put half of our leftover Lou Malnati's (iykyk)in, and it was in the warm fridge overnight and ruined. I was in shambles. Also, loved the pub downstairs, had a great time overall.
- 5/5
Great location and reasonably priced
- 5/5
Everyone at the hotel was wonderful. Completely perfect. Will return.
- 5/5
Convenient luggage storage on both ends of our stay, great for train travel.
- 5/5
It’s just a quick walk to the Chicago Art Institute, and lots of terrific restaurants are within walking distance.
- 4/5
This is my second time staying here. My main compliant is the toilet did not flush. Meaning it did not go down when you tried to flush it. Good thing i was only staying 1 night. I did let the staff know when we were headed to dinner. Since it still would not flush when we got back, I'm not sure if anyone came. We just waiting until morning and let them know when we were checking out. Also, we tried the restaurant this time and the service was super slow. Waiting 40-45 minutes for potatoes and an omelet is entirely too long.
- 5/5
I did not have breakfast
- 4/5
There was some mold in the shower.
- 5/5
Nice place! Clean
- 5/5
A comforting stay
- 5/5
One of my favorite stays I’ve ever had! The staff was super customer service oriented. I will be back!
- 4/5
Room was clean. Check in was very convenient. Very safe to walk around
- 4/5
Nice hotel thats pretty central to everything. Our room was on the small side, which seems common for downtown hotels in this price point. A nice touch is a free chilled water stations that even provided plastic water bottles!
- 2/5
Paid for a city view and windows opened to a back alley, the hallways on my floor smelled like smoke, and the elevators were extremely slow - the one seemed maybe to be out of service. The staff was friendly however, the facilities were modern although not new, and the location is alright.
- 5/5
The room was very nice, and the on-site restaurant was a nice place for both dinner and breakfast.
- 5/5
Clean, quiet and comfortable
- 5/5
Efficient and the location can’t be beat.
- 4/5
Clean and good location for the marathon.
- 4/5
Nice hotel but can use some upgrades and renovations it felt very dated
- 5/5
No breakfast
- 5/5
Great stay!
- 5/5
Good location and price
- 5/5
Smaller, clean room was perfect for a business trip. Just a few blocks from Sears Tower. Restaurant on site was great for meals and unwinding at the bar.
- 4/5
Room was relatively clean, but very small. Definitely a bit older, but in a decent area. Not much amenities available and they only have 1 ice machine on a different floor from where I was staying.
- 5/5
Great visit! Only thing was the elevators to floor 9. Only one worked which created long wait times and packed!
- 5/5
Great location, nice rooms
- 5/5
Perfecto .Se encuentra en el centro.
- 5/5
Very convenient to Union Station and the El.
- 5/5
Awesome spot! Everything is walkable, safe and comfortable stay.
- 5/5
Very nice room, very clean. Would stay there again.
- 4/5
Rooms are old and small. Bed is okay.
- 5/5
Great
- 5/5
Kitchen was disappointing. No pans, silverware, dishes, or cleaning items. Everything else was superb, including the in house pub. Lots of sports fans to see the game.
- 5/5
Clean room, great for the money
- 5/5
Clean
- 3/5
But the room was super dated, shower water pressure was inconsistent, couch was so uncomfortable that it was not usable. Couch and carpet was old and was not sure if it was dirty or plain old. I booked a suite but it did not feel like a suite, just a bit larger room. They need to update their finishes.
- 5/5
Excellent location! Quick walk to the train, and centrally located to walk every where we wanted to visit. Adrian greeted us upon arrival and made us feel like we were coming home! Not just upon arrival but every time we stepped into the lobby! Her kindness and welcoming persona was felt by all! What an asset to your brand! Room was great, perfect for two and comfortable!
- 5/5
Love this central location to my favorite things. Hotel is quiet and well staffed. My room hasn’t been renovated yet but it was clean and comfortable. I love that the restaurant and bar is just downstairs. And this time I finally discovered the espresso machine downstairs.
- 5/5
Clean, convenient , staff are friendly.
- 4/5
Great service from staff. The room was a little tired, but everything was clean. Loose tile in the middle of the floor, under capet, rm 532
- 5/5
Our stay was great. The hotel is excellent. It’s right in the middle of the action so it’s easy to walk to all the things you would want to do.
- 5/5
Friendly staff, great location. A little dated but comfortable
- 4/5
Nice location
- 3/5
I stayed at club quarters on a weekend hotel overall was amazing. A few things that I would like to complain about the room size is crazy. It’s almost like a cruise ship bathroom has no countertop nowhere for you to put anything in all the complementary drinks and peanuts were super expensive. I feel like with the price of the room. It should’ve been free, especially for the size of the room.
- 5/5
Clean, convenient, reasonably priced hotel. The staff is very helpful and professional. The chilled water and 24 hour coffee is a nice feature. The rooms are comfortable and simple, but had everything we needed. Great location, safe and walkable to many restaurants.
- 4/5
Decent property overall.
- 5/5
Awesome staff and very close to public transportation. Also it is next door to the Rookery which is a cool pro if you are into Chicago history and architecture!
- 3/5
Not a bad property but for the price it was too much. The bathroom was tiny and shower was super small. When I got in my room the shower curtain was on the chair wet. The staff was great and location not bad. The rooms are updated a bit but bathrooms are not.
- 4/5
Everything was great during our stay, the only complaint I have is during our check-in we didn't have a room ready at 3:00, which was our check-in time. So, after after waiting and complaining to the front desk we finally got our room, at about 3:30. Besides the check-in issue, everything was great, location and customer service was excellent.
- 4/5
Due to weather-related flight delays, I arrived at the hotel at 2:30am. I was welcomed as if it was 6:30pm and my check-in was efficient. The hotel is in a great location for my office, but a bit shabby overall. Would not choose to stay here if if was for a couples trip to Chicago.
- 5/5
Clean, neat, coffee in room, hot shower
- 5/5
Nice and clean place at downtown Chicago. Very close to the L and in a vibrant neighborhood.
- 5/5
Great location, amazing staff that were willing to help with the check in and clean rooms
- 1/5
Extremely noisy. Need to remind several time of missing amenities in the room.
- 5/5
5 stars
- 5/5
Excellent
- 5/5
Cute, adequate, affordable accommodations for quick trips to Chicago. It was perfect for our one night stay. Parking is a little ways away so pack light and just carry your things to your room. There isn’t a lot of space to pull your car up for loading/unloading. But you can’t beat location and price so totally worth it!
- 5/5
Very good place to stay
- 5/5
I recommend 100% Cris thank u! All staff is amazing, but Cris was Exceptional! If I go in other occasion for sure will be my 1 option! And recommend t9 my friend where we go.
- 5/5
Great
- 4/5
Older property but you get value for your money. Walls are thin. Cross your fingers to get contentious and respectful neighbours
- 3/5
No cleaning service for the 3 nights I stayed in
- 5/5
Easy access
- 1/5
The hotel did not have heat. The entire building’s system was not working -with no plans on getting it fixed anytime soon.
- 5/5
The front desk staff was very friendly.
- 3/5
I really enjoy the Elephant and Castle each time we visit, but on our most recent stay, we both felt that the temperature was uncomfortably cold.

Comfortable bed and pillows. However, carpet in the room and in the hallways is super dirty and old.

The rooms were spacious and location was great. The rooms were just outdated and needed a serious Reno. Bathroom door was missing its covering. Bed was hard.

Easy access to a lot of cool, niche places. Convenient to leave and come back, very private.

Our room was clean but the couch needs cleaning . The staff is pleasant and cooperative . I especially appreciate Lashawn, the Guest Experience Manager, for his patience and genuine desire to make our stay as comfortable and enjoyable as possible .

While the room was small is was very clean and modern, and super comfortable for a couple traveling. The hotel itself is located near quiet a bit of

Could not adjust the thermostat in the room. It stayed at 64 degrees the whole time we stayed.

The hotel has been recently renovated and the rooms were nicely appointed and very comfortable.

Very friendly and efficient front desk staff. Great restaurant on site. Very clean and well kept hotel.

My stay was wonderful - beginning to end and Ms. Adrienne at the front desk was absolutely amazing with her kind and helpful demeanor.

The staff was friendly and welcoming. The room was small but it was clean and the bed was comfortable. The included breakfast was with the attached pub and it was a great way to start the day. Delicious. The location for my purposes was fantastic; blocks away from downtown and Lincoln park. I’d definitely stay here again on my next trip to Chicago.

Hotel was clean, nice area. Lots of options either walkable or very short Lyft rides away, but rooms very small.
- 5/5
It was everything I needed! I didn’t have any cleaning service since I was only there for a day, but I’m sure it would’ve been excellent. There was no public access to the stairwells when I was there, which was a tad annoying to me because elevators are not my favorite. Otherwise, no complaints!

Front desk staff were not friendly and room was never cleaned

Close to many atrractions and places of interest. Easy to get to and from airport. Accesible/close to bus and train stations. Pretty clean and quite. We will come back.

Quiet and cozy perfect for our stay

Everything was good! Great location. Hotel is a little older, but everything was clean and service was very good and helpful. Be sure you understand the parking situation, I was a little confused by the explanation by the gentleman who checked me in. He could have explained it in a much simpler way lol but it all worked out ok.

Staff was nice and the bed was so soft and comfortable

Was so so. If you’re just needing a place to sleep, this will get the job done. Nothing fancy.

Hotel is definitely older and showing its age but it was very quiet and the beds were very comfortable. Would stay again in the future.

Overall the hotel was great. Bathroom was quite dated and small. Not worth the price given how dated the room was
