    Nothing really didn’t get to enjoy That I wasn’t aware I had to bring a card that matched with my id it was really inconvenient I had to immediately get ready as soon as I landed and when I got to the hotel I was informed I wouldn’t get a room without my own credit card. I was staying for my boyfriends sisters wedding and had to last minute switch my hotel to a motel which was a horrible downgrade. I had nothing but my id, my passport, and his credit card he loans me and I use for everything.

    The art, restaurant, location, and overall aesthetic are great! The room was a little dirtier than the first time we stayed there (shower grime, greasy handprints on the walls, doors, and bed), and two different items (towel hook and door stopper) were broken off, just lying on the ground with the screw exposed. Normal wear and tear is expected over time, but it was definitely more noticeable this time around.

    This was my first trip to Chicago and I hope to always be able to return and stay here. WONDERFUL place to stay that’s within walking distances to bus stops that can get you anywhere. The rooms are phenomenal, you can lay in bed and control the lights in the room. The shower is wonderful. We stayed on the 8th floor so the view was okay but not horrible. Lastly , hats off to the front desk. Each person was so helpful and always welcomed us back to the hotel with a smile and asked if we needed anything. I love this hotel!

    Check in staff was super rude and slow. Valet was no where to be seen. Several of us ended up getting out of the cars as we were blocking the road, and were met with attitude when asking the check in staff for help.

    Loved the rooms! Very spacious and clean. The service was amazing as well. Had a minor issue with my TV and they sent someone right away to fix it! Very efficient, and friendly with comfortable rooms I looked forward to coming back to! It’s also located near the Mag Mile which made it convenient to walk around downtown Chicago!!

    The location was great and very convenient to access great dining and shopping options. We were frustrated with the view. We paid extra for a “city view” and had a view of the hotel across the street but no skyline view. Waste of our money to put towards a city view. The beds were very comfortable and the room was aesthetically pleasing, but the AC was “motion activated” and would turn off while we were away or in the middle of the night. It got up to 78 degrees at one point. We even set the thermostat to 60 degrees and the lowest it ever got was 74 even when we closed the blinds. We noticed that the thermostat would even turn off while we were in the room. The front desk was notified about the thermostat and never came to assess or resolve the situation. The TV would not turn on multiple times. We had to call the front desk to fix it. We went to the bar one night, and the drinks were not good and expensive. We didn’t finish our drinks because they didn’t taste good. Very aesthetic but not tasty.

    I stayed in room 411 for 3 nights. - Curtain has a weird smell, like bug smell or something of that source. - TV didn’t work twice in 3 days we stayed. First time we called the front desk and has a technician came up to reset, second time was our last day so we just gave up. The remote control is not responsive at all, take 3s for TV to response to the remote. - No slipper in the room. We called front desk to request but they said they ran out (?!?!). - They didn’t refill the tissue in the room, we called to request, no one bring up (we called twice).

    This is the best hotel I've stayed in Chicago after going to the city so many times. The design was impeccable and is very attentive to detail. Great location as well, it is near the Northwestern university and is near Magnificient Mile, so you can go pretty much everywhere from here, from shopping, dining, to visiting the lake shore.

    Great ambience and wonderful option for couples celebrating an anniversary or just for a night on the town. The hotel restaurant was excellent with beautiful art work. The room was splendid and plenty of romantic charm. Of course the room service robot servers added a high tech feature unlike anything I’ve ever experienced before. All in all it was a great stay, would definitely do it again!

    The front staff had excellent customer service and were very friendly. They made me feel very welcomed. The valet staff were very pleasant and helpful. The hotel is very pretty including the elevators. The room was stylish and it was cool that you could control the light and room temperature with the tv remote. The shower was wonderful with excellent water pressure. I liked that they had a lovely drape that you could use for privacy since the shower was in the room. I would definitely stay there again.

    I enjoyed the unique atmosphere that the hotel provides. The elevators were really unique, there were no buttons on the inside, instead there was a kiosk outside the elevators in which you would select your floor and it would lead you to the correct elevator. The design of the room itself was breathtakingly elegant as well.

    When we walked into the building, I was a little surprised by the size, a little smaller than expected including the rooms. However, the place was gorgeous and the surprise of the shower placed where it is. The staff was super friendly and very accommodating. Love the forward thinking with the elevator system and the robots. Finally, my sincere gratitude to accommodating our every needed - especially upon check-in.     We love staying at emc2 when we have an appointment at Northwestern Hospital. It is just around the corner and close to hospital parking, which is cheaper than valet parking. The restaurant on site, The Albert, is great, and we love getting dessert for the night here. Staff was friendly and very helpful. We love the design of the rooms. They are functional and nicely appointed.

    Room was not at the level that their picture show online not only was the room small. The showerhead didn’t work. The shower leak all the way out the floor to where you’re walking and puddles of water all day toilet leaked but hey, at least the horn worked.

    The shower set up in the middle of the room is very attractive and modern. Unfortunately, the lack of ventilations means the heavy curtains next to the shower picks up a strong smell of mildew. Two different rooms ended up smelling like gym shorts.

    This was an amazing weekend couples getaway spot. Staff was all around lovely, the area was very centrally located, the rooms were gorgeous. Not a single complaint to be made with EMC2.

    The room was nice, but the floor in our room was weirdly sticky, like it had been poorly cleaned after a spill. We did not complain to staff, because we were pretty busy during our stay and just made the best of the room. But overall really nice hotel and I would likely stay again.

    It was okay. The robot room service was definitely unique. When a double room is booked there should be two sets of everything available for that. There was no microwave in the room, which would have been convenient, especially since they have room service and a restaurant without a microwave downstairs. Please pay attention to the charges on your statement. Overall, they had a nice view. The staff was very responsive specifically housekeeping, and room service front desk needs a little work when it comes to customer service.. The food at the restaurant and Lounge area specifically the drinks were water down. The coffee was disgusting. The water was refurbished. I mean by refurbished if there are bottles or glass vases left from the water they will pour it back into the big container to recycle it for the next day.

    I love this boutique hotel ! I love Chicago ! The staff at Hotel EMC2 are fabulous ! This hotel is beautiful . I love that they have the concierge robots Leo & Cleo ! The design of this hotel along with all the beautiful artwork is amazing !!

    Paid a significantly higher rate for the skyline view - our room was on the 6th floor, very little of an actual skyline visible. Aside from being overpriced the room was clean, unique and comfortable.

    We had a city view room. The Einstein-themed furnishings were quite original and fun. Great location just a couple blocks off Michigan avenue but very quiet. Didn’t try the restaurant but it looked nice. Would stay again!

    Overall the room was nice but the bed sunk down in the middle and made my husband and I keep sinking into each other. Our backs hurt in the morning from sleeping on the slant. Breakfast was good and overall the hotel and staff was nice.

    The staff was very friendly, the hotel was aesthetically pleasing and clean, and it was in a great area near many dining options and other things to do. However, our room’s shower wand was not working and our room didn’t have an Amazon Alexa which is one of the amenities listed. Also, we paid for a city view, but they put us on the fifth floor, so we could only see one building in front of the hotel. Needless to say, the view was not great.
