    Como todos los hoteles de la línea Hyatt Place las habitaciones son amplias y el desayuno con algunos platos calientes que permiten balancear un desayuno completo en las mañanas con un café excelente. Sin embargo la propiedad es vieja y no ha tenido tan buen mantenimiento. Las habitaciones no las limpian todos los días. Hay que estar solicitando que lo hagan y aún así es un mantenimiento básico, mucho que desear de un hotel de esta categoría.

    Could have been cleaner. We did have a pet friendly room but the carpet was very stained… our dog is very much potty trained I was worried this may have changed that… also breakfast was not very good

    None There were cockroaches and when we told the staff they argued that they were a different bug. They were roaches. We were then told we would get a full refund since we would not be staying any additional night (we had no choice that night unfortunately) and they ended up charging the cards again months later.

    Nothing I was driving from ohio so i booked beforehand and i arrived around 5 o’clock in the morning nobody was in the lobby and after 15 mins old guy show up preparing for breakfast and he barely checked me in and key was not working and came back and ask for new key and he said he was trying before and couldn’t open the door for other customers and he said hotel is fully booked and i ask him then why u didnt keep a room for me if u know the room cannot be oppened and he said he will try with master key and coulnt open again now i have to wait untill 3 pm for next day reservation and end up sleeping in my car i am really frustrated and they said they cant do anything very bad management and very bad place

    I booked my trip back in January. We planned to stay the weekend in Hoffman Estates because my daughter graduated the weekend of May 17. We were expected to check in May 16, and before we arrived for check in the hotel was already trying to process a payment. I’ve never booked anyplace and a payment was collected before I could even arrive. They made 3 attempts and they were all declined because I keep my card locked for obvious reasons. Someone from the hotel ended up calling and asking if I was still arriving and to secure my reservation the payment needed to be made because they were all booked up for the weekend. I assumed my reservation was secure when I booked through Expedia back in January. Nonetheless I let them process the payment before arriving and once I got to the hotel I was asked did need a King suite or Double bed. That made absolutely no sense to me because I booked for a Double bed suite and they sweated me all morning for the payment. This hotel was so out dated. No microwave in the rooms. The pool area needs to be updated.

    Right into the bedroom a big fly was flying around, I could kill it with towel after following it for 10 minutes. A couple of long hairs into the tub was not fun to find. Fruit from frozen in the breakfast not the best flavor. There should be better hotels around for a similar price.

    Rooms were dated and definitely needed upkeep. There was no room service for the 2 nights we stayed. It’s definitely very conveniently located off the highway. I wish the rooms were a bit more fresh/updated. Staff was great and helpful, breakfast was great with a bunch of options and ample parking.

Oh my God, especially with family. I liked it everything room servers ladies are very very polite. They go out of their way for you. Believe me very good place.     It was just OK. Hotel needs updating. 2 elevators -- only one worked. Lots of waiting time at elevator. Very disappointing that they didn't keep the complimentary coffee and tea out all day like almost every single other hotel. Kitchen staff not the nicest. The breakfast was ok, except the fake eggs and the gross sausage patties.

    If the rooms were as Wonderful as The Staff this would be a 5⭐️ hotel. Rooms were nice on appearance but dated and dirty. Bathrooms were small and had to get in and out. Bath floors were dirty and tile and caulk were in need of maintenance . Carpets had burn marks and TV was Analog . Had 2 different people try and fix never happened. They asked us to move rooms to rectify but the TV was no better.

    We had a great stay at the Hoffman Estates, The rooms were spacious, had a refrigerator and comfortable. The breakfast had a variety every day. The staff was friendly and helpful. We had only a few issues the bathroom door to Toilet & shower was awkward, would have been nice with nightlight or dimming options and elevators not working well. Overall great experience for all.

We then had a tv that didn't work and the front desk woman checked the tv in another room for us before assisting us with moving.     Roof leaked in our first room. The second room the heater smelled like it was burning, Tv and phone didn't work either. They were fully booked so we had to leave and they are refusing to compensate for the night we never got to use. The general manager won't even call me back

    We stayed one night and while the staff was wonderful, the parking/location easy to find and our room clean, there was no heat in our room and the remote didn't work (even after changing batteries). We didn't find out about the heat until the middle of the night, we told the staff the next morning and they offered a new room and sent maintenance in right away. The breakfast was solid.

    Overall cleanliness and upkeep were not up to expectations, and the service quality did not match what was promised. Communication from the staff was also lacking, and requests were either delayed or not properly addressed. Additionally, one of the staff members—an Indian lady—was particularly rude and unprofessional. Her behavior was unwelcoming, and she came across as dismissive and overly authoritative, which made the experience even more unpleasant. Considering the price and expectations, this was not a satisfactory stay. I would not recommend this place unless significant improvements are made in both service and amenities.

    We ended up not staying because of weather, so just went home. Knew we were going to be charged for the two rooms as it was late notice, but were charged for 4 rooms instead of 2. They finally debited one room but still charged for 3. I have called every day for a week and no one will call me back. Terrible service

    It really needs either a deep cleaning , but better - remodeling. Front desk staff is great. Fatima is amazing 👏 Pool area needs attention as well. And, the bugs, in the room and elevator. We wanted to order some food, , only burgers out of the whole menu was available. Breakfast- okay. Will not recommend.

    everything was wonderful everyone we talked to or met in the halls were so very nice .The breakfast was great.Very nice rooms,very large and clean.Love the little snack area was really nice.The bar was cute and very nice bartender,very helpful . the only thing was I took my niece to go swimming the pool was beautiful water so nice and blue,but it was so cold.I did report it to a few people we did try over and over again but we couldn't go in for more then 10 minutes .

    Immediately the lady at the front desk was pleasant and helpful. Check in was a breeze. Our room was clean, comfortable and spacious. The only thing we didn’t have was a microwave. The pool is huge and well kept. There was lots of seating options and tables. Breakfast was phenomenal. By far one of the best continental breakfast buffets I’ve ever seen. So many options. We will definitely stay here again.

    Good selection for breakfast. Great location, close to shopping and restaurants. I reserved a handicap accessible room with a roll in shower. My mom is in a wheelchair. When I arrived I was given a regular room. The hotel staff quickly found us a handicapped room. Although, it did not have a roll in shower, the associate did everything to accommodate our needs and correct the mistake.

    Me and my boyfriend had stayed a night for new year’s eve, we had a blast. Room was plenty big for the 2 of us, pool was very big and nice, breakfast was delish, and i was able to bring my dog which made my stay a lot better. Thank you!

The hotel was clean, the room was large and comfy.The breakfast had a good variety and I was impressed they had almond milk for cereal. The location was close to everything so very convenient. All of the boxes were checked here. Minor thing, no can liner in trash cans when we got to the room and the shower took a minute to warm up.

    Horrible accommodations rm 314 & 123 & pool area! Elevators in disrepair loud, floors in poor shape buckled, selection panel rm lights burned out, dirty and scratched up. Rooms 314 carpet stains cigarette burns in carpet, elevator noise loud and almost constant. Limited and lousy selection on tv with no options, wifi no operating during my entire stay, room 123 coffee maker missing leg I had to use a tea bag to support it to use properly, refrigerator was off and smelled like stale pickles and onions and very loud when running, stains in carpet, heater damaged melted grate and air conditioner does not work I had to open window al night to cool room off suitable for sleeping. Breakfast was adequate, bed in 123 was very comfortable and shower was very hot.

    Hotel Manager is horrible she should be not work with guest. She is unprofessional and empathetic which makes you not want to stay there or never recommend anyone staying there as long as she works there. Which is a shame because the hotel is really nice.

    enjoyed the breakfast. the cleanliness of the hotel was terrible. the room had not been fully cleaned and disinfected. there were toothpaste smudges by the sink, hair and makeup stains on the tables. the bathroom head was visibly dirty it made me uncomfortable to even shower. overall just enjoyed the breakfast and how quiet our stay was. the receptionist also marked my ID with a sharpie? -50 brownie points, +2

    was charged 234.47 when I already prepaid online. I have stayed at Hyatt schaumburg so many times and I have never been treated with such hate. I was being looked at and treated like shit! I am homeless! Booking has even tried talking to your staff and they were even rude with the booking agent. I’m going to file a complaint with the better business bureau and federal trade commission. I’m also going to write a letter to the Illinois attorney general because I believe fraudulent business practices are a major factor. I am seriously considering consulting a lawyer regarding billing fraud, Illinois consumer fraud and deceptive practices act. I was already charged prior to arriving and booking confirmed I was not suppose to be charged when I arrived to Hyatt Hoffman estates. Booking agent even admitted your staff slipped up and admitted and acknowledged that they were seeing the booking that I prepaid and they were still hesitant on giving a refund. So did I just get robbed by your staff and plus I was treated with a lot of hate and rude manners. Full blown discrimination. Why would anyone become confrontational with a customer.     The Hyatt was very comfortable, however the TV was not working in my room, I let them know when I checked out. Would have felt better about it if the response had been oh I am so sorry and we will get someone to take care of it! My response however to me was oh it must have been on the wrong Chanel.     The hotel staff was very friendly and accommodating. I was happy with the customer service here. Unfortunately, the hotel itself is pretty rundown. There are pictures of “what’s to come” in the lobby so I assume there are renovations planned, but we booked this trip based on images online that looked much nicer than what we got. Our room had several tolerable maintenance issues in the bathroom - the file floor was so warped that the door almost wouldn’t close and had to be forced shut. The shower head was covered in hard water deposits and made a high pitched squealing noise for most of my shower. Furniture and carpets had some noticeable stains. The pool was extremely worn down looking and didn’t seem very clean. Again, I hope plans are already in the works for renovation because staff was great.

    Everything was. Fine minus the checking in portion. I was accused of not paying and was asked to show my bank transactions on my phone to prove that I paid. After I showed I paid, I was still accused of not paying. Once I was told they would walk to me my room, I need to go outside and bring my two small children inside. As I walked in to the hotel, my family member was checking in and I said hello. As I said hello, the lady behind the counter looked at my family member and said oh she is not happy with us right now. She was so rude and unprofessional. Me and other family members will never stay at this Hyatt because of her and her rudeness ever again.

    Reserved a room with a king bed. We went to the room and got a room with two double beds. The tv didn’t work, so called down to front desk and found the phone didn’t work either. Went back down stairs to front desk and got another room. Went to the new room and called down to get an extra towel. No one answered the phone. Had to go back down to front desk to pick up an extra towel. Our daughter and her family went to their room and when they opened the door they walked in on another family staying in the room.

    We had booked 7-8 rooms and I had specially asked to be able to stay on the same floor at least since we can’t do too many stairs / elevator rides plus had kids. But the man at front desk was too lazy to bother so he made us stay on 4 different floors. I know guarantees mean nothing but honestly it would make sense if some form of empathy was shown instead of “it’s too much work for me”. Updates and upgrades are needed in the hotel. It was pretty old looking.

    The amenities were decent. When I arrived they gave me a room with a sofa bed when I reserved a double bed room , they said that the reservation they received came like that. Then later at 1 am there were people in the hall way talking loudly going from room to room slamming doors. I called the front desk to ask if there were quit hours , they didn’t seem to have a answer. The person in the lobby did come up but it didn’t stop them. This went on for 3 hrs and a total of 3 calls. There should be stricter rules on quiet hours and people being cordial.

    When we checked in, we were given our keys with no other information on breakfast times or other details. The hallway and room carpet were disgusting with stains. I tried to get coffee in the morning, and they were out. They had a Starbucks sign on the wall stating they sold it, but when we tried to purchase it, the gentleman said the machine was broken. We were very disappointed with the Hyatt and will not stay there again. They definitely need to renovate this location!

    So we came just for a quick getaway before school starts and the service is great, friendly staff but the room was dirty. Lots of stains and dust and left over things from other guest. Bottle, pacifier, store tags from clothes and a used rolled up panty liner on the floor in the bathroom. When I say dust, i mean years of dust on the egdes of the floors. Hair clumps and stuff on floors like they are not vacuuming all the time. Stains on the bed sheets and covers. Dont lift the sheets because the beds are horrid. All types of stains. The bed even has poop stains on it. Carpet has gum and other stuff stuck to it. Dust in the coffee pot, no trash bags in the bins. Counter tops dirty, not just dust but grime and head boards dirty. Pool was a mess if your coming for the pool, dont. It smells like stagnate water because of the pebble floor that is not sealed and all the water just sits in the pebbles and theres green and black stuff on the pebble floors with the pebbles coming off all over and wads of hair and stuff all over the floor. The water is not that clean either. Pool area has not been cleaned in a long time..who knows when they cleaned the floors. Pool could be a great area if they redo it and keep it clean. The staff as I said are kind and had no issue. Who ever owns this place needs to really remodel and check the quality of cleanliness in this place unless they just dont care but for what one pays for a room to stay here.... its shamefully disgusting.

    This was a rough visit. Bathroom smelled of mildew and had no airflow. Bathroom vent fan was caked in months of dust. A cleaner burst into our room early one morning (before 9am) without knocking. The funny thing is our room was never attended to or refreshed during our three night stay. There were mites in the tub. There was one exceptional employee who helped us find a trash can (we didn’t have one in our room) but otherwise the staff were unfriendly.

    We arrived late at around 12.30 AM but the receptionist was welcoming and made sure everything is in place. I wish they have more tables over the breakfast area.     My family and I stayed here for 8 days. Immediately upon arriving we walked into the lobby and it had a musty smell. Going up to our room, when we got off the elevator it also smelled. When we walked in our room, it was clean but the furniture was clearly dated and very much dirty. Tub was clogged (when I addressed it, it was fixed). This hotel is very pet friendly and that’s fine. But we do not have pets and didn’t enjoy eating breakfast with dogs around or even the cold coffee. This hotel could use a deep clean and some updating.

    The location was convenient to our event however I wouldn't stay there again. It was very outdated, TV had no guide and no option to use streaming. Shower mat was yellow and old, shower door replaced but left all of the old adhesive from previous door. The door to shower/toilet area was so large you had to squeeze between the toilet and wall to close, no microwave (which a suite should have) Lobby had no AC and no notification prior to arrival. Available food is made by the front desk and the Bar was a joke. Our window seal was broken so couldn't see out as was covered with white coating and the AC in our room is controlled and could not keep up with the heat and humidity.

    Rooms were clean. Breakfast options were excellent and provided good variety for our family. Staff were extremely kind. The lobby was really warm and the setup (flow) to get breakfast was really congested. However the manager always came around to ask if she could get us anything. This staff were one of the most accommodating and hospitable Thai I’ve experienced in a long time.     I liked the location and the set up of the room. I disliked that the room had a poor smell to it, like vomit and mold. The couch, even tho we didnt use it, was dirty. Carpet felt damp.
