I am writing to share feedback regarding my recent stay, which unfortunately fell far below my expectations of the Hilton brand. Upon arrival around 5:00 PM, the front desk experience was unwelcoming. While check-in was efficient, the employee appeared disengaged, offered no smile or greeting, and only became friendly after I asked if she was having a bad day. Our room (206) had a persistent sewage-like odor from arrival to departure, making the stay uncomfortable. We were also located beside the elevator and ice machine, and despite adjusting the air conditioning, the room remained uncomfortably warm. The coffee maker was difficult to use because the power cord was extremely short, leaving the bathroom as the only practical place to plug it in. Given the odor issues, this was far from ideal. Most concerning was the presence of insects in the room, whether large ants or roaches, which raised concerns about cleanliness and maintenance. My travel companion and I are not guests who typically complain, but the combination of poor customer service, the room odor, temperature issues, and insects made this a very disappointing experience. Unfortunately, it has caused me to reconsider staying at a Hilton property in the future.

They did have free parking and breakfast included. They have 2 waffle makers and different bagels and bread to choose from. Juice, coffee and water. They did have a pool which is one of the reason why we picked the place but the heater was not working but my son were still able to enjoy it. Hopefully they do fix the heater because it was cold But other than that we enjoyed our stay

We stayed here 5 months ago and the ground floor ice machine by our room was out of order, the 2 exercise bikes in the fitness room were both in need of service, and the dryer in the laundry room took over 2 hours to dry a load of clothes. None of those issues had yet to be addressed when we were there last week. The housekeeping staff and Miguel who tried to address the problem with the dryer were very helpful. The front desk staff who I had addressed the issues with were not helpful and were full of excuses. We travel with a pet and need a larger room, so the Hyatt is a good choice for that reason, but we'll be looking for somewhere else to stay in the future.

The breakfast was lack luster even for an included continental breakfast, and the indoor pool was so cold even my daughter didnt want to be in it. And she like most kids usually has to be told when to get out of the pool even if its too cold for her own good. And, the pool was the main reason we went with this property instead of a less expensive option

I thought the room I picked had a kitchen which would have included a stove top but it did not. It also didn't have any basic things a kitchenette would have, utensils, plates, bowled, etc. Other that that it was a nice stay.

Had to request for the room to be cleaned. Their policy is to clean every other day however it wasn’t done for us even after requesting this, only towels and bathroom garbage was changed. Garbage in the bedroom was still there when we returned and used towels were also still there.

The location was perfect and made it easy to get around and enjoy our trip. We were especially impressed with how attentive and accommodating everyone was throughout our visit. You can really tell they care about their guests and take pride in providing excellent service. From the tasty breakfast to the clean rooms! Parking was plentiful too! We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Illinois. A true 5-star experience!

The property was nice and clean but I had a terrible experience with Expedia because they cancel my booking without notice me and I discover it at the moment when I arrive to the hotel despite my app shows that my reservation was confirmed. Once I try to solve that issue with Expedia, they didn't try to explain to people of the hotel that my reservation was active and make something to give me the room that I previously reserve, the just made me a refund of the initial price but I was already at the hotel so I had to make a new reservation directly with the hotel with a higher amount.

After my trip I’d still give this hotel one of the best ratings out of all that I’ve experienced. This trip is the worst I’ve had. My room didn’t get cleaned during my 4 day 3 night visit. We were told we were on the list but didn’t know why it didn’t happen, even though we double checked before heading out for the day. The pool was unusable, as it was probably all a blistering 45 degrees. I don’t have children but it’s always a first in my preferences as I love to relax in the water. Other than those two flaws, I’d still give this stay a solid 4/5.

We booked the "Two doubles suite kitchen," which fit our family of five very well - a huge kitchen and living space (with fold-out couch) that was entirely separate from the bedroom. Families definitely stay at this hotel - the pool was crowded each night and was not too big (it also had no real shallow end where my 5-yr-old could stand). But overall the stay was good, the room large, and the breakfast a good mix of hot (waffles, eggs, sausage) along with toast, bagels, cereals, and fruit.

Room: bed was very uncomfortable, shower took forever to get warm, not enough pillows, bar soap opposed to liquid soap to wash hands, the card entrance into the room was delayed & Hampton is known for their breakfast(no so much on our stay, potatoes were cold and mushy, the coffee was AWFUL, no gluten free bagels, bread, etc!!

The entire stay was absolutely miserable. Very rude, unprofessional staff, our room was dirty, furniture had stains all over them, bedsheets had stains, blinds were broken.. room had not been cleaned or dusted, pubic hair in tub.. it looked like the room was old and outdated, we smelled weed our entire weekend in our room, the pool area and throughout the hotel.. the most unfriendly staff, breakfast was disgusting.. I would never had expected a Hilton hotel to be so aweful.. we would never, will never stay there.. if you can pay a little extra for another hotel , do it.. oh did I mention our room also had bugs.. I took photos so I can prove the condition of our hotel..

The room was spacious. More than enough room for 2 adults and our cat. Housekeeping staff were great. Breakfast was plentiful. Good location to shops, restaurants. The fitness center needs some attention. Both peleton bikes are in need of repair. One you cant adjust the seat, the other makes a howling noise. Our biggest complaint was guests were smoking cannibis in their rooms and management was not very helpful in resolving the issue. They have the right to enter rooms and insist those guest leave, but only offered to change our room. Its a fire hazard, our floor was 100% smoke free. They should have knocked on doors and entered rooms. We had to put a wet towel against our door to keep out the smoke. It affected us and our cat. Secondary smoke is dangerous. Call the police if you have to. This may sound harsh, but too bad. We expect a certain standard when we stay at a Hilton property. They did comp.us one night, but we'd rather not smell pot and pay for our stay.

Overall, the Hampton Inn & Suites Chicago/Hoffman Estates is an excellent choice. My son & I were here to visit my sister at the nursing home nearby. This is my second stay and I have always had a good experience. The rooms are nice, clean beds, clean and roomy bathrooms, decor is modern, internet is good, the continental breakfast is filling and tasty and parking is a breeze. I highly recommend this hotel for everyone.

Upon arriving the front desk staff seemed like we were an inconvenience, as they had to get off their personal laptop. After getting checked in we arrived at our room only to smell cigarette smoke in the hallway. I called the front desk and she said it was a non smoking hotel so it must have just been someone that came in from outside. After getting in our room about 15 later the smell permeated our room. Going back out in the hall it was clear it was coming from the room across from us. Called the front desk again and were rudely told well i can move you to a different room. I asked why do i have to move, why cant you deal with the smokers. She said well they might stop and then do it again during the night. How about make them leave. I can move you was the reply. We ended up moving rooms after lots of attitude from her. This room the lock on the door did not work. Overall the hotel was decent. However i will never stay agian because of the staff. I left a message the next morning for the manager to call me. I am writing this review because i have still never recieved a call.

We tried calling multiple days in a row at all hours of the day and night to extend our stay before our trip and no one ever answered. Breakfast was subpar with very little space to eat at. The beds were uncomy and the water took a long time to drain out of the sink wich bubbled into the bath. Pros: we didnt use the pool but it looked clean! Oh and all the elevators and ice machines were broke for the four nights that we were there....

Due to the property's phones "being down" for multiple days, we were unable to contact anyone ahead of our reservation with questions. They did not respond to multiple attempts to message them through Expedia. The front desk woman was extremely unhelpful and unprofessional. My family was not able to check in to the hotel. The front desk woman offered no options or help for our issues or concerns. She refused to speak to me through a cell phone that was offered. When I arrived in person, the staff member repeatedly stated that because we booked through Expedia, she could do nothing for us. It was a horrible interaction and I hope no one else needs to experience that kind of customer service. I am a Hilton Honors reward member and was still treated this way. I paid for the hotel room in full and was never allowed to check in. If you're looking to book a hotel in the area through Expedia or a third party website, do NOT book this Hampton Inn. You will likely be treated very poorly.

So the shower was a walk in with a handicap shower chair no shower curtain. I called immediately and was told to move the chair and that’s how their showers are. Check out is 11 and 10:15 housekeeping knocked and told them we were still in the room they proceeded to still open the door and walk in. I called today and was told their showers have glass doors. I would like a call back

They gave me a room and within 10 mins someone enters randomly. It was the cleaning lady and I guess she had not been made aware that a guest had checked in. She apologized profusely though. I was dressed so it’s fine but what if i was changing, somebody walking in would have been so embarrassing. Other cons are that Bathroom sink was very small that and water kept spilling outside constantly. The lotion bottle was empty and not filled. The only pros are that the room and bathroom were clean, nothing else.

This location is a little loud, my room was right by the elevator so that was annoying. Breakfast includes a waffle maker so that was a plus

We really love staying in a suite and it is a reasonable price. The fold out sofa bed was very comfortable. We have never been disappointed at the Hampton Inn & Suites that we have stayed at. Will continue to book them when we travel.

The staff was exceptional. Tracey was particularly helpful. Breakfast staff excellent, too. BUT only occasional housekeeping was inconvenient. Ice machine was broken all 5 nights of our stay. Room was quite small for 3 people.

Check-in at the front desk was quick and efficient. Both of our suites were spacious, modern, and well maintained. I appreciate all the amenities such as 24hr guest laundry for $1 wash per load.

The breakfast food was good , but was tippy toeing to reach the waffle maker myself and my adult daughter 5 foot tall could hardly reach it and burnt hand good. This is the only one that I have been to that it was up so high and I only stay at Hamptons when traveling. And as for the front desk I believe her name was Tracy. Didn’t seem concerned at all never even apologize or offended first aid, but said it was the Hampton policy and layout. I feel the counter it was on should be lowered.
