Hotel Mesaluna Near American Consulate

Cordial staff, everything was organized and clean. Food was really good. The room that was assigned to me had some spots on the floor when I got there. right next to the night stand. it was there the entire time of my stayed at the hotel.

Mesaluna is a great place to stay for your consulate appointments. The hotel is withing walking distance for all the appointments, but they do provide transportation. Fingerprints: Short walking distance about 3min walk. Medical: about 10min but the medical can pick and drop you off for free if you call before your appointment. Consulate: About 5min. Dont take your cellphone for this appointment but if you do dont use your phone outside they are strict. This hotel offers transportation around the area included with they stay but need to sign up with the front desk for scheduling. Places like, Antecedentes penales, Walmart, S-mart, the mall, a restaurant, Airport. The hotel wifi worked really good and fast. The hotel has breakfast at an extra cost either pay with your stay or on a daily basis. Breakfast is from 6A-10A M-Sat, and Sun 7A-11A. You can eat at the tables or take it to your room. At 12:30P-10P they have their restaurant open. You can eat there or have it deliver to your room. Or call from your room as a room service option. There's no extra cost just what the food cost. The hotel also has a little store were they sell drinks, snacks, and other things like hairbrush, toothpaste, toothbrushes, nail clipper, and liquor. They also clean your room everyday, give you new towels, and 2 water bottles. This happens while your out of the room with your appointments. Or what most people do is they go downstair to eat breakfast or wait in the pool area. Hotel has a outdoor pool, tables and chairs by the pool to relax, a game room, a laundry room. My room was single bed, with a desk, chair, couch, mini fridge, closet, coffee pot, the restroom had soap, lotion, shampoo, there was also a TV with a TV wifi box. The prices for the food wasn't bad I was spending average $10-14 per meal. The drink and snack at their shop weren't bad for the convenience price. There is also a pharmacy next door to the hotel with a really short walking distance. Room: The room had a broken lock, but the staff fix it right away when I brought it up. The restroom will occasionally smell like sewer, so I kept the restroom door closed. My room you can hear everything in the hallway and in front of my room they had the cleaning crew closet so early in the morning I could hear everything and wake up. Good if you want to wake up at 6AM but terrible when you want to sleep in. The AC smell weird at first but then not sure if it went away or if I got use to it. Transportation: They have 1-2 vans on a daily. They fit about 9 people plus the driver. You have to get in the schedule. Example I wanted to go to the Mall and it was 11AM the next available was 1PM. They however do have Taxi outside and that is an option as well paid out of pocket. There was also a time were I was drop off at Walmart and was told they can pick me up in 30min or ill have to Taxi back. I didnt want to rush so I found my own transportation back. I discovered that Uber is really cheap over there and just started using uber. Restaurant: The menu gets boring after a few days they have a few items. The only thing that I did not like was the boneless wings. Room cleaning service: They do a good job but they do rush and I notice that the floor is not swept/vacuum all the way. The bedding is not change daily only if you ask. The mini fridge had a weird smell when I first open it. Laundry: To wash you have to purchase a token for 2 tokens is about $7-8. Thats only for 1x 30min wash and 1x 30min dry. My clothes weren't fully dried. So you have to keep the loads small or buy more tokens.

The location is very close to the Consulate office and medical clinics, etc. The staff is very professional, efficient and helpful. The housekeeping could be better and the smell in the rooms is not the best. We were unable to keep our ac on because there was a strong odor coming from it. But we were able to be comfortable with keeping it off.

Free breakfast was fabulous, staff were generally very helpful Double rooms were relatively small, and they need to figure out a new shower curtain situation (it blows out of the stand up shower because it’s too short, so water sometimes gets on the floor), but neither of these were a big impact, nor affected our stay.

Location was great. Walking distance of the US Consulate and restaurants. Very convenient. Also staff at the receptionist/check in desk were all very friendly and helpful of any questions we had. The hotel has free breakfast buffet in the morning with a variety of yummy food. The hotel offers transportation which was soooo nice and very helpful! We used the transportation service twice and both times Alan was our driver. He was very friendly and kind to us and everyone. Hotel could use some cleaning up on walls and bathroom. I constantly kept finding blonde hairs on my black clothes after sitting on the chair in room. (I don't have blonde hair). The Mesaluna shop was convenient but very expensive. Also we could never get the wifi to work on our television in the room but it wasn't a huge deal for us personally.

The hotel is great, location is perfect, the size of the rooms are very good, and staff is friendly. - The shuttle service was not available. - They don't have a dedicated space with a desk where you can at least take a work call (I had one while waiting for my check-in and it was impossible to find a quiet place. I had to use the laundry room and of course it wasn'e exactly quiet. :( They should consider this for people who work. - Breakfast is fine but they use lots of disposable cups instead of normal cups. So not very eco-friendly.

The hotel is in remodeling mode and it was drywall dust everywhere even in the restaurant area. My mom found a dirty sheets on her bed and i have to clean the faucet at the zinc. This hotel is not the cleanest. The staff is really nice and helpful. The breakfast is good. Rooms are small so not believe the pictures.

Breakfast was delicious and a pretty decent gym. I was there for my consular process and everything is walking distance. They also have a shuttle bus that takes you to the grocery store and to the airport. Definitely recommend

The hotel pricing is very high for what you get and the condition of the room. The beds are horrible and seem to have a plastic covering that will make your back sweat. Not a good experience. The food is ok. The wifi is terrible and lags when trying to watch TV. My wife stayed at the holiday in Express after checking out of Mesaluna and says the rooms are way better and cheaper price. Also, breakfast is served, and you can get whatever you want.

LOCATION AND PRICE: We had really early mornings to turn in documents and for the interview, so walking a quick 5 minutes was perfect. I'd recommend this hotel if you're here for the same thing and if you don't have a car (if you have a car, then I recommend booking an Airbnb for cheaper and you can always park in the nearby mall parking lot or even in the hotel parking lots if you ask). FOOD: The food here was pretty good and affordable. I'd recommend getting a reservation with breakfast included and if you want to eat dinner here, too, then it's good and pretty cheap! But you have a good amount of places nearby you can walk to as well. There's a mall, Starbucks, plenty fast food joints, taco spots and also a Walmart and VIPS nearby. CLEANLINESS: It could be cleaner and I know the housekeepers must have a lot of work but all they really do is throw the trash out and replenish towels and water. They don't really mop, sweep or wipe surfaces down. That was a bit frustrating as we were here for 10 days. Ultimately, you can find cheaper on Airbnb, but this hotel felt like the perfect place to say. Plus, you can make friends and ask each other questions about the process at the consulate.

Everything and everyone were amazing! As soon as you walk in it smells clean. The room and restroom were clean. The breakfast was awesome. All the staff were very friendly and helpful. If we are ever in Juarez again I would definitely stay here again and I recommend to anyone that is working on their legal papers.

Spotless room and hallways and restrooms and great, friendly staff, which is important as most of the hotel is filled with guests dealing with the USA Consulate, which is stressful enough. My only suggestion is - would be nice if they heated the pool and lowered the volume on the music outside for those of us trying to work there in some sunlight and outdoor air.

Our stay was excellent, the breakfast was good everyday and they had a good menu for dinner or snacks and a convenient little store inside the staff was really helpful and our rooms were clean everyday all the facilities were clean love taking my coffee in the morning by the pool and the gym really help having one , the transportation was good they will have times to drop off around the city and pick ups too so helpful walking distance to the USA consulate and clinics and fingerprints . My only complaint was our flight was later the day of the check-out and I ask if we could stay for some hours willing to pay for the day because we were so tired waking up early and I stayed for a week here and we weren’t allowed the hotel was “fully booked “ hopefully they change this for their future guest . Overall do recommend to stay here . Very safe

Mesa Luna Hotel was always fresh, clean, and welcoming. The staff was courteous, the ice-cold AC felt amazing, and the beds and pillows were very comfortable. My favorite part, though, was the complimentary breakfast—every day it was something different, delicious, and with a true homemade Mexican touch. I even congratulated the kitchen staff for their excellent work!

From the beginning, we were impressed by the level of service. The front desk team was always polite and helpful, even assisting us with refunds for items we no longer needed—like laundry detergent and a PS5 rental that we returned due to long download times. The manager who assisted with check-in and the refunds was particularly outstanding. The young women working in the cafeteria, bar, and convenience store were also a highlight—always cheerful, welcoming, and accommodating. The only drawback occurred at the very end of our stay. We checked out early at 7 a.m. to catch our flights. My fiancé departed as scheduled, but my flight was delayed by three hours. I returned to the hotel around 8 a.m. and asked if I could rest in the room for a bit longer, given that checkout wasn’t until 12 p.m. and we had just checked out an hour earlier after an extended stay. Unfortunately, one front desk agent was dismissive and curt with me during this interaction, which left a disappointing final impression. Aside from that incident, our experience was overwhelmingly positive. The hotel staff truly went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable.

En general fue buena la estadía, creo que faltan un poco de cosas por mejorar.

Ellos los llevan y los traen del aeropuerto Tambien los pueden llevar a walmart o Liverpool. Y los traen para atras. Solo pregunten enfrente. Es parte de las amenidades.

They would often ask intrusive questions about the purpose of our visit and the anticipated length of our stay. Moreover, they would share stories of other guests who had prolonged stays, which felt more like gossip than genuine concern. This is the second time staying here at this hotel staff has always been very kind and friendly and helpful. The consulate office is only about a five minute walk. I also offer transportation in the area and if you need a cab, they also call it for you.

Overall great service, but my only complaint is that if you want to check in early, you can’t. All check ins are at 3PM. We had asked if it would be possible to leave our luggage with them while we went out to walk, since we got there a few hours before check in, but they said to leave our luggage in the main lobby. We didn’t leave as we didn’t want to risk getting our personal luggage and belongings to get stolen or misplaced. It is a 5- 7 minute walk to the CAS and to the US consulate.

My only issue was that I needed to extend my stay. I had gone with one of the clerks at the front 2 days in advance. The clerk told me that I had to request the morning of my departure, and they would extend it for the same price. I followed her orders but when I requested an additional day, they did not honor the original price I had.

No early check in. I asked the front desk, they said they would notified me but ended up just waiting for hours. Pros: The hotel has a gym, free breakfast, and a clean pool. Cons: The AC is noisy, the shower water puddles, and there’s dust under the furniture. The fridge wasn’t very clean. The pool is super cold, and the gym is really small. If you stay on the first floor, be aware that the rooms don’t have privacy curtains—people at the pool can see inside when the blinds are open. Breakfast is limited to one trip, kind of like a school lunch. The food is okay. Overall, it’s nothing fancy, but if the price is right, I’d stay here again.

Our Stay at this Hotel was wonderful. The hotel is very clean. The hotel staff member are all very nice especially Jose Luis. He helped us out the first few days we were at the hotel. Definitely recommended the hotel, very close to the American Consulate, Medical clinic, and Definitely walkable to the mall and local restaurants.
