The property is in an excellent location, close to the American consulate, shopping and restaurants . The place is very clean. Housekeeping was excellent and so was security. When we first arrived they had excellent staff but they slowly started to disappear. It was left with staff trusts looked like they wanted to be elsewhere. They first few days they offered free laundry services but then switched to only offering a ride to the laundry mat.

While I was waiting for my Visa I needed an extra day and my original hotel was booked so I moved in to this hotel for just 1 day. This hotel is close to all the consulate important appointment locations and like 2min walk to where you pick up the Visa. The room is nice theres a bed, a desk, a tv, and a restroom. I like their shower. The included breakfast was good. I also like the lobby they have a lot of space and table and there is also some seat outside by the door. I felt safe because they had a security person inside and outside the hotel and they lock the front doors after 7pm. You will have to use the back door and go around but there is a security guy there and any car that has to get in the property has to go through them. They have a restaurant there too which is buffet style. You can eat there or take it to your room. I tried the dinner and it was about 20 bucks, I filled up a to go container with food and a smaller one with fruit. It was worth it. The people there were extremely nice and I felt welcome. Right across this hotel there Omnibus they can take you to get the Visa Stamp and cross you to el paso. It was only like 240 pesos. The bad things about this hotel and keep in mind I was only there 1 night. The room did not have a mini fridge this was my biggest issue. The room echo and I could hear people from the lobby. Also in the hallway you can hear the tv in my room without any issues. The toilet didnt have a strong flush and I had to re flush everytime even for just pee. There was a storm that night and the power went off for like 2 min but the AC stop working. Not sure when it started working again because I went to sleep. There is no closet they have a cloth rack stand instead. There were no window so there is no outside view. The room felt isolated. I think carpet will make the room feel better and maybe reduce all the sound echoing.

Everything about this place was great. Right next to US Embasy and where you need to go to do your medical exam and fingerprints. Great location. Great stay, will recommend.

I don’t know who may have ordered to do the things they did but we all noticed. They were indirectly rude (example: turning off lights to get you to leave a room) and not very helpful. Throughout the entire stay the washing machines were inaccessible to ALL guests with the exception of specific guests. Who were given more priority to facility additions although all guests here all pay the same. Even with this issue no discounts were offered no vouchers or anything to mitigate the inconvenience. They offered a ride to washing machines but were too expensive considering washing clothes at the hotel should’ve come close to nothing after considering i would only have bought laundry supplies. Rather than the additional expense by going to the washing machines they offered a ride to just to have clean clothes. I repeat no compensation was offered, although the inconvenience may seem minor to some. After staying the better of 16 days it is a necessary one and expected since it was mentioned in the reservation package.

I liked how it was close to everything & the breakfast was very good The girl who works in the breakfast area is very rude, she was rude to be like 2-3 times I stayed in the hotel for 5 days & she would either be rude to me or other guest. We weren’t explained any facilities about the hotel. They were many things we weren’t aware of that we could use like laundry, stoves, buffet.

The bed was broken, the shower door didn’t lock properly, the sink was cracked and you don’t have full access to the “buffet restaurant” is only a few dishes you have to pay 120 Mexican pesos more per person to have the right to use the buffet

How close it's from everywhere I need to be

I love how the place is very clean. It’s close to the Consulate, and the mall. The place is secured 24/7. Salute to their Security Guards. Very friendly staffs. And prompt room service. They definitely exceeded our expectations especially they have laundry room. And free good breakfast. Very affordable yet excellent place to stay at.

We liked the proximity to the american embassy, which was the reason for our stay We reserved a queen size bedroom,. We arrived late at night due to our flight, my husband and I were checked in by a young lady into a room with 2 beds that looked like it was from a roach motel. Located on the 3rd floor all the way down the building (the hallway was dirty, people were cooking , and playing games with the doors to their rooms open). The room was on the 3rd flloor; judging by the appearance of the hallways we assumed there was no elevator/ we were not told there was one either. We went up 3flights of stairs with 2 55lbs luggages. We were exhausted from the trip and pissed off about the room assigned to us. Went back to the front desk, by then someone else was there, he changed the room for us and it was more acceptable. The hotel does not have any amenities, I feel is over priced for what it offers.

Location is excelent! The only problem is a lot of Asian peoplewho work in nearby factories and therefore stay in here and they do not let people rest, since they are up all night playing game boards, drinking and smoking even after the hotel management put signs all over prohibiting such things. Usually there is no security at those times, reason why It would be the only issue I came across with. Other than that evweything else was great.

Terrible service would not pay us back OUR money that we paid for a hotel room that we did not stay at we came to Ciudad Juárez for a few weeks and unsure of what day my visa would arrive so we paid one more extra day and instead of paying us back our money or giving us any breakfast for the breakfast either for our flight back for the service that we paid for, even bugs on toilet paper their only excuse is that they don’t give your money back when you pay online terrible attitude terrible service overall I’m very upset stress on top of stress

My husband left his wallet in the lobby while checking in, we didn't notice till the morning. The clerk in the front found it and put in their safe for us until check out! Please give that guy a raise! He is a true loyal employee!

Make sure you are booking the right room due to one side has windows and is open then they also have rooms on the other side in the bldg. with no windows college style all rooms do have bathrooms.

The location was the best because our trip involved going to the consulate and this hotel was steps away I think it's easier to say what I like rather than what I didn't. My shower head was broken, the mattress was uncomfortable, the springs kept poking me and I "woke up" with a back ache... The money I saved I'll have to spend at the chiropractor.

Lo malo: pésima comunicación con el cliente por un error en la tarjeta virtual, la habitación menciona cama Queen y en realidad era matrimonial, no tiene clóset para colgar nada, no tiene ventanas y no se nos comentó esto, mucho ruido en los pasillos y entre habitaciones se escuchaba todo, la cortina del baño constantemente se estaba cayendo y era molesto. Si su intención es solo dormir y nada más está bien, pero para pasar un momento de relax y ocio 0 recomendado

Everything was good, but they can do better. Washers machines didn't spin right, the clothes were so wet to dry in dryer machines. And people who used the washer machine don't take care of the machines, they left the clothes for a long time in the machines.

La primera noche me tocó una habitación bastante incómoda, muy ruidosa, nulos servicios, cama super floja. El personal super amable me cambió de habitación, más cómoda pero pobre aislamiento de ruido de la habitación contigua. Las instalaciones son viejas y maltratadas. Para una noche es una buena opción.

The area is safe because it’s a walking distance to the consulate Where do I start? It has a kitchen, but guest are not allowed to use it. The fact that I’m spending money for our immigration status, the hotel, and other miscellaneous things is beyond me that we can not use the kitchen CC hen. It’s strictly for the foreigners that our in our country to use? What about it that makes sense? We too spend money for the hotel so why can’t we use the kitchen? Because the foreigners built it for their workers so they can save money? The laundry facilities is disgusting, one washer and only one dryer worked. Again the foreigners also have their own laundry facilities, and we are not allowed to use them? How I’m sure we spent more money than they do to rent out this hotel. The AC is very much controlled by the hotel.

Staff changed my hotel at the last minute. The day I was going to check-in they sent me a message saying that they were changing the hotel to another one, they didn’t say why. We ended up staying at another hotel farther from the U.S. consulate and that was the main reason why I had chosen Dunas because it was close to the Consulate and Hospital and CAS. We had to walk 40 mins to get to those places and the days were hot! It’s not fair they did that to us at the last minute! The only good thing was that there was a park near the other hotel and it helped the days go a little faster!

Nos encantó aquí, está muy cercas del consulado. Estando en un proceso muy estresante, tener la facilidad de todo tan cercas y sentirse seguro en este hotel, ayuda mucho. Los encargados del hotel siempre muy amables y a la orden para cualquier cosa. Recomiendo mucho este hotel. Además, los desayunos muy caseros y ricos.

Tal vez como parte de la experiencia seria bueno que cuando mandan mensaje de confirmacion tambien nos digan como está el clima porque hacia frio y la verdad no pensé que clima fuera tan diferente a donde vivo. Pero lo recomiendo al 100

Simple rooms are small, you can feel when the room next door opens and closes the restroom. Breakfast was not even mediocre, and had to leave and check in at 5 because of "Deep cleaning" only to later find a toenail on the floor. Restrooms seem to be connected with an open part which means you hear everything the neighbors are doing........ plenty more options around in the area, save your time, money and most importantly your rest.

We requested transportation from the hotel to the airport, the first rep stated it was booked but then i went back the next day to confirm and they asked me to go back at a later time to double check if transportation was available. I ended up taking an uber.

Overall the hotel was nice. Only complaint was with our room. Walls are paper thin so you could hear absolutely EVERYTHING loud and clear happening in the room next door. We were on the first floor which was convenient however again you can hear all the commotion outside.

Se fue la luz por las condiciones climáticas de aire (eso se nos dijo en recepción) y se prendieron las luces de emergencia a media noche durmiendo, no dormí bien me desvelé por la misma situación, la habitación estaba fría nunca se templo siendo que alguien de personal prendió la calefacción pero tuve mucho frío :(

The staff itself was great. The building they placed us was very old. The toilet and shower were very stinky. It acerbated my allergies… coughing and sneezing all night. The door did not have the extra door lock. It felt unsafe to sleep, even though they had security at entrance of building. My husband and I were not able to stay there past the first night. We moved hotels!!! But Alejandro and the manager of the day were very helpful and understanding. They did offer to move us to the newer building. But, we had already made reservations for the other hotel.

The only issue is that you could hear everything through the walls and people has not respect.

Was greeted as soon as I entered so had no problem looking for anyone and the property was clean and prepared ahead of time which was convenient.

If you are not claustrophobic then this is a very nice place to stay. Rooms do not have any windows but very clean and modern. Adjacent to the restaurant and water filters. Rooms are climate controlled and does not have much local control available. Shower and washrooms are excellent.

Worst experience ever, it was below freezing and no heat, calling multiple times and they only said maintenance is on the way for 2 hrs, then they said working on it, then they say not able to fix it so I had to deal with it, then I asked for a partial refund as not all services purchased were given, answer is sorry but no. Parking is very far from the rooms, you have to walk a good deal, if you have many baggage, it will be a challenge to get to your room.

Muy cerca a la cafetería. El personal de cafetería nos despertó muy temprano con ruido y hablando. El baño de la cafetería no tenía papel higiénico. Desde el principio a hasta el final la experiencia no fue positiva.

Very nice place

Loved the stay but need to better the rooms, bed made nose and walls are to thin you can hear everything even peoples conversation from the other rooms this was a bit uncomfortable since I when with my partner I can only imagine everything the other heard.

There are no windows in the room we stayed it was very sad in there but we were not there for leisure we were there for business. Free breakfast and it’s delicious!!! Very close to the US consulate and you can walk to a mall nearby.

They let my family and I check in early, that was a plus. Breakfast(included in stay) was really good, Fernanda was awesome! Cleaning ladies were kind and polite. They had free washers and dryers, although there was only one dryer for three washers. Room service was a bit slow. Front desk staff was polite but at times would speak unprofessionally in spanish with disregards to guests being around.

It was nice, bed just kind of hard and room very basic. But what i expected for the cost.

I have to move to 3 rooms. Firts smell like hospital second I lot of noise like air comoresor every 10 minutes. All smell like septic Drain all there rooms smell a lot I have to close the bathroom dooor and put feebeze to hide the bad olor. Other think big truc pick up Chinese workers like 5:30 am and wake you up the food is ok service is good but need a better deep clean in bathroom and rooms

STAFF WAS VERY NICE EVERYTHING WAS CLEAN.

During the check in, the front desk lady told me there were no rooms available even thought I had a reservation. The hotel never reached me to tell me about the situation. They told me to go to a different hotel for the same price. They didn’t offer to transfer us to the other hotel. I had to ask for the transfer. Arrived to the hotel and they were not aware that my reservation was transferred to them so they gave us another price.

Staff was absolutely incredible. Super polite, attentive and informative. Every individual who we come across coming this way, this will definitely be their first choice! We will make sure of that! Would love if the owners did something nice for the employees. Stay was awesome.

So I got there at 9am the day of check in and I know check in is at 3pm. Other guest were arriving after me and were checked in before me! I did get up and I told them why was I being skipped. Didn’t give me a valid reason and they didn’t check me in until after 330p!! I honestly felt I was being punish for saying something.

Staff was very good, also food was very delicious good timing for breakfast they need to add lunch as well.

They kept moving us room. They don’t clean rooms well. They don’t vacuum. My bed sheets had makeup stains on them. They moved me to a single bed. Room smelled awful. Condom rapper underneath bed. Short skinny girl with blond hair. At first she was very sweet. Next thing, she was acting very rude. Knocked on our door. Charging us. Even though we had paid. Only good thing about there was the kitchen staff. Truly amazing staff workers. Brenda made us feel very welcome. Cleaning staff needs to do better.

Overall it was a good experience. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Food is good. The only thing I didn’t like is the shower. There’s a strong smell coming out of shower’s drain.

Everything is wonderful

Paper-thin walls you can hear the neighbors all the time. Laundry room is super dirty and most machines don't work. Internet connection is bad/weak, you can't do anything with the wifi the father away you are from the office. Never staying here again. Kudos to all staff members and cooks, they are the only good thing about this place! They are friendly, approachable and cook very well.

We got a room on the 3rd floor, and the elevator was out-of-sefvice! We had to carry our luggage on the outside concrete stairway, I'm a senior. The shower was very small, the shower was clogged and wouldn't drain and the shower head was wiggling all over the place.

The firs night the hotel was freezing,The room was way to small, no where to put or hang our clothes, there was also a vent that we could here everything from next door, also the shower was really uncomfortable.

A/C needs improvement and breakfast as well also they don’t take card

It was a good stay we stayed there only 2 nights and it was a nice stay

In overall I like this place everything was ok big parking lot and safe we staid in the 2 floor , the room are big good size with small refrigerator

The reason i dont give it 5 stars is the room we had didnt have windows, there was only 2 working dryers. The breakfast was good and filling

The A/C needs to be upgraded

The only bad thing is the breakfast is not so good and the staff from the cafeteria area not so welcoming and A/C on basic rooms sucks
