Reviews
The hotel has a great location with a beautiful beach, clean rooms, and friendly staff. However, guests frequently complain about the noise, construction, and extra charges for parking, beach chairs, and umbrellas.

Me encantó este hotel es verdaderamente hermoso la piscina un poco pequeña pero también tiene un increíble jacuzzi es muy bueno este hotel
- 5/5
The room was clean, spacious, and comfortable. The pool area was nice, and lots of space on the beach to play soccer. The only downside was that the air conditioning unit was quite loud, especially at night. Overall, we enjoyed our stay.

Great
- 4/5
The resort was great. Hate that I paid for a room for a week and had to also pay for parking. Always trying to get more money out of people who already are giving trust and money into somewhere for a week. Also our tv in the room had some major sound issues one min you could not hear then the next it was so load. But in all we had a great week and enjoyed much needed rest and sunshine
- 5/5
The room was well equipped and extremely clean. Pool and beach were awesome. Staff were fantastic. Friendly, helpful and generally nice people. We're planning a return and hope to bring a good group of friends too!
- 5/5
Great place. Clean and staff very friendly. Pool was a bit small but beach front worth the stay! Food was great as well!!
- 5/5
Great hotel. Nice beach. We enjoyed our stay so much
- 5/5
From start to finish this has been such an amazing experience. Rooms are spacious and came with a roomy closet! I love that the property is literally on the beach, and to top that off pool for the family/toddlers (free beach toys throughout). The property is also a couple mins from local bars and 30-40 mins from the Tampa International Airport so that was also a plus! The staff was very kind and attentive helped bring our luggage to our rooms. I would 100% recommend and come back again!

We love it at the Sheraton, it truly never disappoints!

Too expensive...and a seperate fee thru a 3rd party to park in their lot.

The staff was nice. Parking was full! The lil store was small. It was a great location for our event though, so... that part was nice.

2. Mold in bathroom and FAN IN BATHROOM DOESNT WORK. 3. 2nd floor doors not too safe.. but that Notice on the wall protects liability. Hahaha 4. Shower Floor slick as heck. You must place a towel down not to slip and get hurt. 5. That refrigerator in # 252 nope don’t work never got to 50 degrees. I used a cool pet. Nice ice is on all floors! 6. Stick a sign up that says almost a 1/4 mile walk to the beach. You know it’s a 1/2 mile round trip. In the darkness that is deceiving. 7. Bedroom floors are dirty from the moment you arrive. Bring Lysol wipes and do it yourself. Faster.
- 4/5
The beach area was huge, well kept and staffed.
- 5/5
Very nice place. Awesome customer service
- 4.5/5
Location. It was away from the ’craziness’ of Clearwater Beach! Access to the gulf was nice. Our visit was for our 50th anniversary, so the pool area was noisier than we expected but that being said, that is not unexpected.

I go every year to this location and it is my favorite place in Clearwater!!
- 5/5
Front desk staff were amazing, pool bartenders were accommodating and cheerful, golf cart gentleman was just that-a perfect gentleman! Gift shop gals were sweet, waitstaff in the banquet area was efficient and polite-all around a very good stay at this resort!
- 2/5
To make matters worse, many of the front-row parking spaces closest to the building were blocked off with cones, preventing guests from using them. When we asked the front desk staff why the spaces were unavailable, the response was simply, “I don’t know.” Unfortunately, these experiences left us feeling underappreciated as returning guests. This was our fourth stay at the Sheraton in Sand Key, but based on this experience, it will likely be our last.
- 5/5
went here for a work meeting and stayed 2 extra days
- 5/5
Hotel and staff was wonderful. Needs a pool restaurant though
- 3/5
only 2 servers were working and I only ordered side of pancakes which were ok and the hash browns were a deep yellow color with a lot of spices -- not good
- 5/5
Hotel and staff was terrific
- 5/5
The menu in the bar and good truck was very good.

- 5/5
Only complaint was hearing the hall door open and close throughout the night from people in and out. Everything else was great!!
- 3/5
We could not sleep properly during the entire stay. We were on the ground-floor, next to one of the door leading to the Pool. And it used to be noisy until past midnight, there was no enforcement of quiet hours. Guests used to scream outside our room all the time, even at night. Inside the hotel wasn't any better. There were conferences in the hotel every single day, and loud noises could be heard late into the night. The noise isolation in the rooms was terrible. Parking is $30 everyday, even for the guests staying at the hotel. Public parking in downtown Clearwater is $20. Parking should have been free or at least subsidized for the hotel guest. Even the beach chairs and umbrellas are charged at $45+taxes per day. All these micro-transactions add up if you are staying for a while at the hotel. Pool is small, and not much recreational games or activities for kids. Best part of the Hotel is its location and access to a pristine white sand beach.
- 3/5
Took a day trip to Clearwater to decompress before heading back home. Stayed at Sheraton Key Resort based off of availability and the pool/beach. The pool definitely looks better in pictures however it was nice! The beach is beautiful and they have a golf cart drive you the short distance. Chair rentals are not included in the stay. I paid over $500 for this stay so for me only way I can justify that is by the pool and beach. The hotel itself is not 4 star in my opinion. The rugs are dirty, the rooms you can tell are renovated but still give that old room renovation feel. The balcony’s are old and chairs on them are dirty. The pricing for a night to me wasn’t fair but it also could’ve been because I booked last minute and on a weekend. If cleanliness and the feeling of being in 4 star hotel is top priority for you, I’d pay the extra money for a different hotel. I won’t be back however it did its job. Also it is pretty far from the downtown area that has all the shops and restaurants but a trolly can take you there! I didn’t know the pier 60 area existed until I googled which I’m glad I did.
- 5/5
Great spot!
- 4/5
Breakfast was mediocre. Buffet was included, which was nice but didn't end up using all of our tickets. Breakfast was plain - eggs, bacon, sausage and some days they had a different sides or entres. Food was never really great at the buffet. They closed the entire pool down for an entire day, without notice, for a group party that had reserved it, which really sucked for families with little kids just trying to enjoy the resort. They also had loud music playing on a Tuesday night that kept us up late. The hotel cleaning staff did a very good job, making sure our room was tidy when we would leave for a couple hours. Overall experience was good, but they could do better, especially for the price people are paying to enjoy their amenities.
- 5/5
Disappointed that they don’t even offer a continental breakfast. The only extra is the pool which is very nice and access to the beach.
- 5/5
Everything was excellent. We really enjoyed our 3 days stay with kids. Wonderful location, beautiful beach.
- 4/5
Great location on the beach. It’s a nice little 5 min walk to the ocean from the pool or they have golf carts that will drive you out. My only issue is that both of the restaurants were on the inside of the hotel, so they had no windows which was a little bit strange and undesirable for a beach hotel.
- 5/5
Small bathroom.
- 4/5
Noisy! Maintenance on a door across hall one night. People talking loud by pool until 2am another.
- 5/5
Room was clean, only issue was the air conditioner leaked but we just kept things away from it. Love that it had a good truck and car at the pool and lots of things to keep the kids busy on the beach. Hot tub was always hot (feel like hot tubs at hotels are always like warm) we got there early and our room was surprisingly ready. We really had a great stay and highly recommend.
- 5/5
fresh breakfast, yes. Drinks were available.
- 5/5
Bar was good. Food was fairly expensive all restaurant.
- 5/5
All was great
- 5/5
Everything was great, the pool, the beach and the food 🙌🙌
- 4/5
Wonderful views. Clean pool. Pool toys available.
- 1/5
Our room was filthy the first day. So we had to go to dinner while our room was cleaned. That cost us $100. They charged us $25 a day for bikes and a trolly ride that we never used because we didn’t even know that was a thing until we checked out. They also charged my 7 year old daughter $15 for some cereal. The only good thing about the place is the location on the beach. The hotel itself is gross.
- 4.5/5
Loved being right on the beach! Not related to the facility itself, but it’s hard to find a place to sit near the pool due to people coming out early and saving seats. Some seats would have towels on them for most of the day with no people.

The Sheraton Sand Key Resort is serene, quiet away from crowded areas, offers a private, spacious beach perfect for families. Have to pay fees to rent chairs on the beach the hotel does not provide them.Have to pay for parking. The bathroom is small. The pool area is small and gets very crowded. The staff is overwhelmed.

The breakfast menu offered a nice variety of à la carte options along with a convenient buffet choice for both adults and children, which worked very well for our family. The selection made it easy for everyone to find something they enjoyed.
- 5/5
Great resort, friendly staff, great location!
- 3/5
Way overcrowded. Took 30-40 min to get a drink at the pool. Half mile walk to the beach.
- 4/5
Pool is small and not enough chairs. $50 for 2 beach chairs & umbrella gets expensive. Always felt parking should be free if staying at a hotel but I guess that’s standard practice for FL.
- 4/5
It was a very nice property and very clean. There was some construction/maintenance happening while we were there, but that is understandable. The rooms were nice, but the bathroom was a bit small. Overall, it was a nice place to stay.
- 5/5
It was such a lovely experience. Highly recommend it.
- 4/5
Beach area not cleaned
- 5/5
Pool was nice. Beach was great. No charge for chairs. There was a nice walking path next to the hotel.
- 5/5
Fun and clean good service
- 5/5
Private beach area. In the Clearwater area but more calm
- 5/5
The rooms were very clean and staff is extremely friendly. We always enjoy our stay here. This was our third vacation at this location.
- 5/5
Such a friendly staff great for kids
- 5/5
Beautiful hotel tucked away from the craziness but trolley brings you to mostly all locations. Staff was great.
- 5/5
Clean rooms, helpful staff, great on site parking, beautiful beach & pool, quiet, family friendly. Overall a great experience.
- 4/5
The property was pleasant overall; however, there was water left unattended on the lobby floor, which resulted in a slip incident. Additionally, while the housekeeping staff member was courteous, communication was limited due to a language barrier, which made resolving a minor issue take longer than expected. Improved attention to safety and communication would enhance the guest experience.

- 5/5
Very nice, not as busy as main Clearwater beach area and better family atmosphere.
- 4/5
Overall, it was a decent stay. I really liked the ocean vibe, and the staff was friendly and helpful. The amenities were sufficient and well maintained. However, the shared walls are very thin—having a neighbor watching TV loudly was a significant issue for us. The most prominent downside was the noise in the corridors, which started early in the morning and continued through noon.
- 3/5
They pool was enjoyable.
- 5/5
The staff was amazing. The restaurant was empty but had a 25 minute wait to be seated. Quite odd.
- 5/5
Clean room. Bed didn’t hurt. Nice stay. They could use a little afternoon music by the pool.
- 5/5
The room was nice with a good view! enjoyed the balcony. The pool area was very clean. Food and drinks were good the only negative as with most pool areas is the seats get taken up rather quickly. The beach area was beautiful and not nearly as busy as the public areas. We were able to use the trolley for free to travel into Clearwater Beach. Overall, this was great area to stay in, and we very much enjoyed our vacation. Already talking about booking for next year.
- 5/5
Rooms and facilities were clean and comfortable. The amenities and location were great!
- 5/5
Like the location on the quiet side of the island.
- 5/5
Overall, it was a great stay and my son said that he really wants to come back.... only longer the next time around.

Enjoyed location, pool and beach access.

Staff was nice and place was clean
- 2/5
The hotel staff was very patronizing and blamed Hotels.com for not putting truthful advertising in the description. The hotel staff was uncooperative and rude. The housing keeping was subpar at best. There was crushed shells on the floor of the elevator for the entirety of our stay after they were made aware on the first eve of our stay. The restaurant s on site were not good. With the exception of an incredible dessert line. The menus are sparse and so poorly cooked that a simple steak was difficult to prepare edible. The pool and access to the beach were incredible. We returned to this hotel after being away from staying here years ago with our children. It has truly gone downhill. with being short staffed, rude staff, poor chefs and unreliable customer service. Sorely disappointed for a 41 year anniversary vaca. hotel
- 5/5
Room always clean and bed made. Restaurants very good and staff always helpful and friendly.
- 5/5
Room was spotless...the staff there was absolutely fantastic! Shot outs to Randy...Bobbi and Sasha. Keeping the energy well and vibes outstanding
- 5/5
Great clean room, wonderful staff, and beautiful beach and pool!
- 5/5
Very nice hotel. A little dated but was clean and has a beautiful outdoor space on the beach.
- 3/5
Coachroach in bathroom and high resort fee even though I was there for the ultramarathon and did not use any of the amenities. Parking is expensive too. Location was the best part.
- 5/5
This hotel is a hidden Gem,
- 2/5
Room was okay until I saw a cockroach on the last day. Everything was under renovation the whole time we were there. Not close to anything
- 5/5
Clean and comfortable room

Clean room, comfortable beds, great beach views and good food

- 4/5
Enjoyed our stay at the Sheraton. Very nice hotel. Family friendly. Beach access is super nice. $30 a day for parking a rental car is outrageous. I would rather just pay extra for the hotel and have free parking. Its 45 mins from Tampa airport so with kids you pretty much need to rent a car so they back you into a corner with parking it there.
- 5/5
Service and facilities were great
- 5/5
Property beautifully situated in a private beach. No crowded beach available restaurants were off property were excellent. Hotel restaurants fair
- 5/5
Great Service
- 2/5
Starting with the rude lady at front desk, me & my husband entered the hotel and the front desk lady checked us in, she was not friendly neither she was very informative, she looked mad at us or something. I told my husband I am a bit scared to speak to her with question. Room & bathroom was a bit small for 4Adults & 1kid. I paid for balcony with resort view & we got a room which was outskirts, half resort view (just a building) & half nothing (with backside trees), please don’t waste money in a hope of getting a better view.
- 4/5
Have parking be free.
- 3/5
The room was clean and we loved the outside area. Our bathroom was tiny and they charge $30 per day for parking and there was no parking! I probably would not choose this hotel again.
- 5/5
Great view from the balcony
- 5/5
We enjoyed our stay very much. Clean room, Lobby and Dining Room. Excellent staff and the bed and linens were outstanding.
- 1/5
We went for yhe Sun Coast Festival. There were not enough waiters and waitress for the event. The resturant closed early due to lack of staff. Therefore, we went without eating. There was a long long line at the bar with only one bartender. I believe the hotel could use a good event planner. The room was comfortable and spacious. The listening rooms were freezing cold. The 25.00 resort fee was rip off. It was hardly a resort.
- 4/5
Room was spotless. Great cleaning staff. Hotel was clean and staff were friendly. I would recommend staying here.
- 1/5
Events in hotel every single day bringing transient ppl - said they would credit parking for inconvenience and never did.
- 3/5
There is absolutely nothing to do close by and no real stores near the hotel either. We did not eat at the restaurant there but ate at water colors across the street and it was fantastic as was the breakfast diner down the street. Other than that and a pizza place no real restaurants close either. Our balcony looked out at the top of the building so nothing special there but the description never said it had a great view just that it had balcony. My biggest thing was the bathroom was SUPER tiny and no microwave. The shower was large great water pressure and shower heads. But unless someone was in the shower two people cannot be in the bathroom without bumping into each other. This was a last minute get away for my husband and I. IF go to Clearwater again, which I don’t feel I will, this is great place to stay as far as comfort and cleanliness. This area definitely felt like an area more retirement driven Not that I wanted a party area, but some stores and restaurants would be good to have to walk to. A car is a must if you want to do anything outside the hotel. The trolley is available though. You catch it right at the hotel The hotel is a great choice for a short weekend stay just to be
- 5/5
New $30 per day parking seems steep
- 5/5
I was not offered a free breakfast-and I paid $30 for mine. Pool area was very nice but there are always splashing jumping kids in the jacuzzi which was a bummer, hard for adults to enjoy it. Room was comfortable, all service was great, parking was $25 a day which I think is ridiculous for hotels to charge. The restaurants/food was not appealing so I went across the street to eat.
- 1/5
First and foremost did not like the fact that they charge $45 for a beach chair second of all the room is small. The bathroom is horribly small. The shower leaks. The pool area was average at best! I will never stay here again!!!
- 5/5
I could go on & on. The resort fee was reasonable I've paid a lot more for a lot less at other resorts. The amenities pool, hot tub, beach, a food truck onsite etc. the trolley was a big plus with the hotel being one of their stops. We had a couple of good meals at nearby restaurants within walking distance. Will definitely be back next year!
- 4/5
Wonderful room, great bar, and pool
- 5/5
Short walk to beach, nice pool area with good food options.
- 5/5
Yes the room was clean and staff friendly and helpful
- 5/5
Love it here!
- 2/5
However, we were disappointed by the front desk service during our stay. On the morning of check-out, we requested a late check-out due to a nearby jet ski rental and our plans to rinse off after the activity. While we understand that extending check-out times may not always be possible, the manner in which the response was delivered affected our experience. The front desk agent ( an african american lady with a short hair - could not remember her name) expressed reluctance and conveyed the message in a way that felt unaccommodating rather than professional. We value courteous and professional interactions with staff, and this experience unfortunately detracted from an otherwise positive stay. We would consider returning in the future if the service environment aligns with the positive aspects we enjoyed (clean, well-appointed rooms) and a more consistent, courteous guest experience at the front desk.
- 5/5
The only negative is the parking fees at $24 per day. I know all the hotels do it but SandKey Sheraton never did so it was a big change on top of the resort fee. Although that does include some extra perks. The Jolley Trolley being one of those perks is very convenient and a great alternative to having a car. The location is away from the hustle and crowds at Clearwater Beach which is nice. The pool and area is very nice and well kept. I highly recommend the resort.
- 5/5
The balony view was amazing, relaxing and very peaceful.
- 5/5
Beach is nice and clean. Hot tub is clean and quite place we enjoyed our stay!
- 5/5
Breakfast menu was fresh and nice. The staff were friendly and engaging. They can do with a little more variety though.
- 4/5
Deon at guest service was amazing and accommodating early arrival/check in time. Hostess in restaurant
- 5/5
Staff is extremely helpful and friendly. Room is clean with daily service. We enjoyed our stay and will be back.
- 5/5
The hotel and ground were great. The beach was perfect!
- 5/5
Food we had was delicious!
- 5/5
Service is amazing. Leisure places is amazing. Breakfast is good but not so healthy.
- 5/5
Amazing location!! Private but a trolley or mile walk across the bridge to Clearwater.
- 5/5
Always have a good time here
- 5/5
Great pool with golf cart to beach. Trolley to restaurants. Amazing hotel
- 5/5
Clean and spacious room. Right on beach, have stayed there often
- 5/5
Beautiful views and great beach
- 4/5
Everything was nice about the hotel, except the room. And the only thing wrong with the room was that it was very humid even after messing with the temperature. It was uncomfortable.
- 4/5
When paying to stay at the hotel, I don’t think I should be charged for parking! Was I supposed to fly my broom there?
- 5/5
Loved the private beach, pool, and re-modeled rooms. The trolley was also really convenient.
- 5/5
We had a great stay. Hotel was clean, staff was friendly. It was within walking distance of shopping and eating places. The beach was just a short walk from the hotel doors and was a nice to hang at the beach or at the hotel pool. Will definitely stay there again!
- 5/5
Very nice room should should have paid more attention and got a room with a better View
- 4/5
It was beautiful and a very nice place to get away for vacation. Everyone was friendly and helpful. The only problem is there is no microwave on the property to heat up leftovers.
- 5/5
Lovely pool and beach. It is away from the busy Clearwater beach. Accessible with the trolley bus
- 5/5
Very nice and clean facilities
- 5/5
Staff was a mixed bag. But out of the week, although there was nobod
- 5/5
Great Property
- 4/5
The property is in a nice location. Beautiful surrounding area. The rooms are updated; however, the elevators were not working and we were on the fifth floor.
- 3/5
They should improve the food and drinks more, clean the pool because it has vicible body fat around the pool water, the rest a little acceptable, I think the price is very expensive for what they offer thank you
- 5/5
Definitely will be back. Our favorite place for vacation.
- 1/5
This was not worth the money. A "resort" it is not.
- 4/5
.
- 1/5
So it’s not worth for the disgusting
- 5/5
Excellent customer service!!!!My family and I we are very happy!!!
- 3/5
The resort is beautiful but the staff was not friendly, helpful and overall rude.
- 5/5
I loved that this
- 5/5
White powder sands, crystal clear water, amazing pool with outdoor bar. Private beach away from the public but just an 8 minute ride to downtown Clearwater. 10/10. Bonus amazing sunsets.
- 4/5
Stayed here 3 times. Staff is very professional and the property has been recently renovated.
- 4/5
Great time
- 5/5
Staff was amazing
- 5/5
Good place to go
- 5/5
This was a very nice and beautiful hotel. Everything was perfect!
- 5/5
Just over the bridge to the dining and shopping in Clearwater though a bit removed from the hustle and bustle which was perfect for our beach getaway!! HIGHTY RECOMMEND THIS RESORT!
- 1/5
- 1/5
The room was also in poor condition. The Chromecast didn’t work, and the sink was completely clogged. When the manager told us she checked the bathroom, she said, “All I saw was blue water in the sink,” which was especially frustrating. The blue water was from brushing our teeth, and it was still there because the sink wouldn’t drain. Between the missing item, broken amenities, and unhelpful staff, I won’t be returning. Do better.
- 5/5
Great service and amenities … very close to the beach … great views
- 2/5
Hotel bad customer service.
- 5/5
Great location, clean and great for families.
- 5/5
This is our third day at this resort. The rooms are clean and updated. The pool area is well maintained. Beautiful page and they even give you a free ride down to the water.
- 5/5
Stay for a convention.
- 5/5
Excellent
- 3/5
Everything was great except the lady at the front. Had to return and stand in line numerous times because she did not carry out her duties appropriately when we first checked in. No smile, gave a sense of not enjoying her job
- 5/5
Very clean and organized hotel
- 5/5
Nice service.. clean
- 3/5
I would give better review, but the not have my room ready, and next day move me late it was very inconvenient especially because I need a handicapped room for my son, and also, the restaurant was very busy which I understand I was offering a free dessert because the inconvenient I wait for 45min an i get up and leave the server said I will sending you the dessert to you room well i never received. It's okay just be aware the you lost a good client.
- 3/5
The beds are too firm and you need to remove the bathroom door and put a barn door style so both mirrors can be used at the same time.
- 4/5
Pool could be bigger and food was not the greatest. One restaurant was to expensive. They should also update that you now have to pay $25.00 a day for parking as well, on their website..
- 4/5
Ocean front. Non crowded beach. Good food.
- 5/5
The place was clean, nice, modern and the people very polite
- 2/5
I don't like service.
- 5/5
I liked the beach access. Beach was big and not crowded.
- 2/5
Beach view was nice. Overall quality of resort- food, service and parking fees for guests was disappointing. I spent 5k and could have gone somewhere nicer for the cost.

Recently renovated hotel that’s in Clearwater but not in the craziness. Check the recent pictures. The pool and beach area feels very private and not overfilled with tourists. It seemed that there were a lot of families who drove in to stay and not overly touristy feel at the hotel. Hotel rooms are small but feel nice and clean with the new decor. The restaurants are funky lit and not renovated but the food was fresh and the drinks were great. The pool bar and food truck were very convenient. All of the staff were extremely nice and helpful. They trolley is a fun option to get to main Clearwater area over the bridge. A lot of stuff to do at the pool and beach. Will come here again with family and kids.

Wonderful pool and drinks!

This place is amazing for families! Pool is great the beach has its own private beach to walk out to. Also has a free trolley that takes you to main spots on Clearwater beach as well. Overall awesome experience.

Very friendly staff, our king bed room was large, clean and comfortable, large quiet secluded beach with chair rentals available, the free tram to the beach was fun and convenient! Across the bridge to the bustling Clearwater beach boardwalk with many shops/dining options with free trolley service.

My husband and I were really pleased. We took our toddler to the beach for the first time and this hotel was a great choice! Situated right at the beach, great breakfast buffet and really good food at the tavern. We will definitely be back!

I would recommend this establishment to my friends

Didn’t like the $25 parking fee each night

Beautiful Hotel, the people are so friendly and helpful. Our plane got there early and they helped us check in before we were supposed to if I could only say the same for the airline.😡😡😡

Nice for Family

Enjoyed the location. Able to walk to several nice restaurants, shops, ice cream shop. Noticed a lot of young families, retired couples and college age groups. Plenty of activities for all. We rented the beach cabanas on one of the days we stayed, available until 5pm, very nice. Ordered breakfast 2 of the mornings delivered to our room. Ate on our balcony, food was amazing, and cannot beat the view of the gulf. Definitely will visit again. Also, nice little extra, gift shop opened 24 hrs. Nice snack options, and picking up items that forgot to pack. Only negative, no Coke products on property, only Pepsi, but that’s just my preference.

Beautiful facility with a park and trails to walk right next to the hotel.

Great staff, great location, great place

I stayed here specifically because of an event that was in the neighboring park but this hotel is in such a great location. I've stayed here twice for the same event and each time, I've had a great experience.

Everything was pretty good. The only complaint would be that the walls seem paper thin as you could hear people talking in the hallway outside the room as well as the people staying in the rooms next door. It was like they were in the room with us and they weren't being rowdy or anything.
- 5/5
The only thing that really bother is that early in the morning some of the staff are so loud and also slamming at the doors while cleaning Of rooms overall it’s a really nice and updated hotel with excellent services and nice restaurants. Will be back for sure !!!!

The property is excellent in terms of location, food, and facilities. Just know that if you booked your stay through Expedia, you don't get the Mariott points.

When we arrived to check in there were several police cars there and someone being removed from the property. That should’ve been our first clue as to how our stay would go. Although the grounds and rooms are beautiful they have guests staying for extended stays that they are allowing to cook in their rooms. The guest in the room next door was frying fish and the smell was overpowering. We could smell it in our room and all the way down the hallway to the elevator. When we called the front desk to ask someone spray the hallway and our room the guest came I to the hallway and confronted my husband and the maintenance worker. The manager said he would find us a new room so we packed up to go to the lobby. As soon as we left our room the guest next door came out with a five gallon bucket full of ice and fish. They weren’t sure they’d be able to move us due to being full so we left with our two young sons on Christmas Eve at 10:30pm. Still waiting on the refund promised to us at the hotel.

Nice private beach. Surprised to find out that the tennis courts were gone. I did not like the idea of paying for parking for a third party that charge you an extra convenience fee.

Beautiful beach big pool great staff and delicious food

Wonderful place. Friendly staff.

Great location and friendly staff but room walls are thin and the noise was pretty annoying..

One small issue, I had reserved a two queen bed room and I knew that we were going to be arriving late our first night so I called the hotel around 3p to ensure they knew we would be arriving at around 1030p. The representative onsite I spoke with said she put the note our reservation and that our room would be ready for when we arrived. As scheduled, we arrived at 1030 and when I went to check in, the manager came out and informed me that their reservation software had overbooked their rooms and they had no double queen bed rooms left! This is where a hotel and its staff can either make or break your weekend, and I am so very happy to say that this hotel and staff went above and beyond! They did have a single King Bed room available, which wasn’t ideal giving there was myself, my wife and our 16yr old daughter. But this isn’t the first time we have had to this, so I accepted the room just being grateful that we wouldn’t have to try and find another hotel that late at night. For the inconvenience, the manager included complementary parking for our entire stay of 3 nights which was going to be $25/day, and also gave us Breakfast Buffet vouchers for all 3 of us for all 3 days which would have been another $20 per person, per day! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

This was our second stay at the Sheraton Sand Key resort. It’s a very enjoyable experience. The rooms are updated and clean. The amenities are top notch. The staff is friendly and helpful. We look forward to going back someday!

All the staff was attentive and polite! We had an amazing time!

Good clean place to stay
- 3/5
Rooms are not being taken care of very well my second room had bugs all over the wall that look like gnats and mosquitoes. They had to change my room and put me in another room.
- 4/5
Great stay, would go back.
- 2/5
Pool is very small, bathroom is super small, lots of bugs in room, parking is too expensive. The breakfast buffet was not worth $20, should have more of a variety. Nothing special about the hotel, other than the beach close. Not coming back here

Great resort!
- 3/5
For a third of our stay, no one came to clean the room. I had to call for clean towels and clean cups with the coffee maker. For what we paid, it was disappointing that I had to reach out about these things on multiple days.

Unfortunately I have to start by warning you all, DO NOT use the GreenMotion car rental that Expedia has partnered with. Google the reviews and you’ll see why. Also do not take the Tropic Tours sunset cruise offered through Expedia. They blare foul rap music during the entire cruise, not appropriate for children. We complained and they laughed….Now to the Sheraton review; beautiful property in a gorgeous and convenient location. Bought the breakfast package and had the buffet each morning which was delicious. All of the staff throughout the property were so accommodating and friendly (have lots of $1 to tip for various services). Property was clean all around. My only complaint was getting to the beach itself. Unfortunately a small smelly lagoon separates the resort from the beach so it is a bit of a walk. They do offer a golf cart ride when available, which is nice. It appeared they had a pumping system to try to keep the lagoon clean, but it is what it is. Parking is a bit expensive at $25 a day so prepare for that as well. Overall, we loved our stay here it is very convenient to Clearwater Beach and all of the shops and restaurants, I would definitely recommend staying here. Anything

Staff is very helpfull, friendly, cleanliness is second to none. The walk to the beach seemed long and can be improved by just landscaping or making a nice path. Other than that, overall a good experience.

The staff in the restaurant on site was very rude and obnoxious to me..I complained to the resort and they didn't even care.

The hotel is right in front of the beach, but you need to bring EVERYTHING. There's nothing sold on the beach, not even water. You have to walk back to the hotel for everything—water, food, drinks—all under the scorching sun, while the beach staff are just chatting away instead of providing service to guests. There’s absolutely no service on the beach. You have to pay for an umbrella and beach chairs, which are extremely expensive at $69 (for one small umbrella that barely provides any shade and two chairs). Imagine paying $600 per night and having to walk 15 minutes every time you need a drink. The pool is very small. The cleaning staff talk too much in the hallways, and on Sunday morning, they were knocking on the door early to come in because we were leaving that day and they wanted to clean starting at 9 AM, even though checkout is at 11 AM. Plus, it’s far from the fun places. I do not recommend this hotel at all. One of the worst hotels I've ever been to.

Great property!

Private beach access is wonderful. The resort is quiet, yet close enough (trolley or Uber ride away) to all of the action across the Boulevard.

Beachside hotel on Clearwater beach. Parking not included $25 a day plus tax. Hotel rooms recently modernised. Best point is location.
