The closeness to restaurant, entertainment, shopping, grocery store and beach. The hotel was more of a motel that you would see on a horror movie. The outside of the facility was run-down, dilapidated, out-dated and had house furniture outside for seating. The property said the office was open 24 hours. But the office was close and they were at sleep ?. It took them 20 plus minutes to get my keys to the room.

Seriously the WORST place I've ever stayed! It was like something out of a horror movie. Filthy, cockroaches, they have us dirty towels, beds are garbage (they even make super weird noise when you get in them or roll over), drug dealer in the room next door sitting outside all hours of day and night (chain smoking), the SMELL of the room, it took a whole bottle of Febreeze and still can smell the moldly, stank, smell. Shower was nasty, the handle didn't even stay attached had to put it in place several times to use it. Toilet not properly installed (it wobbles). Many homeless and panhandlers in the area.

Location was close to everything. There were roaches crawling out of drains. Had to buy raid in order to feel comfortable in room.

Very simple check in very polite very easy. Check out comfortable bed very quiet very close to the beach. I had a great stay. Nothing

Unfortunately I did a late check in, the bed sheets had mold, there was blood on the shower curtains.The toilet kept running all night and the water came out brown for the first minute... Green sheets, clean bathroom, working toilet and clean water

The bed was comfortable. The mandatory $30 fee that isn’t included on the website so I didn’t understand and the WiFi is terrible.

Absolutely terrifying if you are traveling alone

The office door was locked all the time, all communication was happening through the hole in the wall near the door, doesn’t matter night or day. And the room itself smelled like someone died in there. Roaches in the shower. It was awfull.

Everything was a bit old but everything worked: Fridge, AC, power outlets, etc. Hot water was very hot. Nothing gross at all which is far better than average at this price point with my experiences. Smelled faintly of marijuana in the room. There is a dispensary across the street.

Walking distance from the venue I had to be at Man sleeping outside on stairs soring and fussing and fighting to get a Remotes would not work. Couches and chairs sitting outside of doors where people were gathered talking and drinking did not feel safe and was not allowed to have anyone stay with me also requested 100 cash at sign in people fussing and fighting all night when leaving at 8 am office person waiting outside door before I could take key to office oh forgot had to use my charger bank everything run of extension cords

King sized bed was nice. Parking right outside the room. Room was clean The room was too warm. There appeared to be heat coming from the bathroom. The curtains were old and worn. No curtain in the bathroom but it did have bathroom type window. It let in a lot of light from the street,etc. microwave was very old and the TV was small

Clean, fresh. The price was good for what they offered. If looking for a place to sleep for a couple of nights, nothing fancy but Very Clean.

Stayed here for vacation and was perfectly satisfied. Room is set up for longer stays..mini kitchen&desk. Quick access to the beach and dining

Locks are old Key system and could be opened with my Pocket Knife due to poor door fit... ! They charged a $30 key deposit and have to wait 3 weeks to be credited back to my Credit Card... Not happy with that at all.. !!! will see if that actually happens???

Owners very nice and helpful. Room was clean . Some beer cans and and cigarette butts outside of rooms a little off-putting . I think they need a designated outdoor smoking area as the do not allow smoking in rooms. A good thing. Trying to register through small door opening due to covid also a little inconvenient. Very nice owners for sure.

Not as advertised

It was a last minute weekend in Clearwater. The motel is old., but it has been renovated with new floors and bathroom finishes. Our room was really clean. The owner apologized immensely for drilling the side of the building at 8 am on Sunday morning. He was repairing a leak before the projected rain arrived. I understood.

There was no amenities but the rooms were really comfortable and the price was reasonable.

They let me park my truck and jetski together with no problem

The room had been renovated and was very nice. Wish we had brought our pillows. Theirs were very flat with no support. Overall we were pleased and would return.

I would highly recommend Delux to every guest in Clearwater, as I have experienced staying in other places in the area. Would definitely come back there!

We were looking for an inexpensive clean hotel. This hit the spot. Hotel is a little older, but clean. The service was great! Staff overly helpful.

Me and my husband reserved a room for 4 days,when we arrived it wasnt what we were expecting so we left and drove around trying to find closer to the beach after 17hrs of driving we decided to give it a try! So i asked if we could see the room first,the owner was AMAZING shes so nice,in fact she offered to not charge my card if we didnt want to stay...well once she showed us the room! i was AMAZED it was very clean,nice size,and very comfortable! I wish id of gotten the owners name but she's AMAZING She is so NICE! DEFINITELY worth our money and to be honest the 4 nights at the hotel was the most comfortable relaxing part of our vacation!! The ONLY problem was the air conditioner it works well but we had to go buy a fan to get it cool enough for the whole room....she DEFINITELY is making updates and really trying to make the rooms even better! its nothing fancy but if your looking for something COMFORTABLE AND AFFORDABLE THIS IS THE SPOT!! if your looking or used to the fancy resort hotels...well then no this isnt the place for you!! we'll definitely be staying here again on our next vacation to Clearwater beach!! oh and the drive to the beach is LITERALLY just a 10 minute drive and CLOSE TO EVERYTHING

This is a old motel, right on the main drag. No frills,but very clean and owners were nice and very concerned about Covid 19 dustance and cleaning. I was just there to sleep not to hang out. If your looking for a convenient, inexpensive place to crash at end of the beach day, its fine

The room was perfect for the room. It was 15 minutes to clearwater beach. The room and bathroom was clean.

Workers were very nice and let me park a 24 foot enclosed behind the building so I could go to the beach! Very nice rooms and nice people to work with!

I wish there was a way to secure valuables in the room. The location was right on Gulf to Bay Blvd. Heavy traffic and easy for someone to pull into the lot, break into a room and grab valuables and get out of there fast. Not saying it's likely but I did not feel comfortable leaving valuables in the room. Consider adding safes to the rooms?

Roo.s are nit what they appeat online! Mattress springs, terrible back ache. Room very worn. Attendant claimed room orginally reserved was non smoking,no pets, all rooms had ash trays ourside every door. My parakeets were not alliwed insuse although they were in their cages, I had to leave themi n truck after 18 hour drive.

Booked 3 night stay. Room was not cleaned after first night. No clean towels either. Bathroom shower leaked all over floor. A/C did not keep a consistent temperature in room. Main door was misaligned and did not close easily. No phone in room at all! Left after 1st night; owner did not even ask why we were leaving!

The toilet was not bolted to the floor and the room had a musty smell. The service was lousy. Whe I asked for done paper towels and a wash cloth the owner brought out just one wash cloth and one toll of paper towels and then asked for me to pay $2.50 for them. I said you got to be kidding. He wasn’t. I just left and headed back to my room.

If my husband wasn't with me, i would have died. There was a wasps in the window dead and i flying around. They must have a wasps issue

The Television had such a lousy picture it was unwatchable. The bathroom was tiny and the HVAC unit was very noisy. The pillows were less than adequate. The shower was good and the room was comfortable.

We knew for the price it wouldn’t be perfect but it was kinda disappointing that it was advertised as have breakfast and there wasn’t a breakfast

I had to be in Clearwater with job related classes for the week. I needed a quiet and comfortable place to stay but also one that was affordable. Owners were very accommodating to my requests.

This hotel from the outside did not look like much but the updates inside were very nice. The location was pretty good also across the street is a 24 hour Diner with great food.

Everyone has their own standards when it comes to service and comfort. I, for one, was pleased with my stay. The office staff was pleasant upon my checking in late in the afternoon and checking out very early in the morning (around 6:50am). From the outside, Delux Inn doesn’t look as updated as other places but their rooms (including their bathrooms) have been renovated. Everything was clean, it had signs for my non-smoking room I requested, a good size flat screen tv, a mini fridge for my many bottles of water and snacks, a microwave, and a coffee maker (yay). The room I stayed in also had a couch in case I had any visitors, which also turned out to be a pull-out bed, which I didn’t need but was impressed that it was available to me.

The room itself looked good, seemed clean and had recent remodeling. Lights on the bed really set the mood, and had led lights in the shower too. Only complaint is it was listed as a shower/tub, but didn't have a tub. Owner was also very nice, chatted with him for a few minutes after checkout, even gave me a couple sodas. If I'm in Clearwater again I would probably book directly from them instead of Expedia.

Filthy. They don't clean rooms, self serve. Don't change the sheets. They were stained and stunk. They don't even remove the garbage. Price of room way overpriced I found this on Expedia.ca. Would never have imagined they would list this dump.

The motel is being updated and our room was clean, nicely decorated and very comfortable. The location was convenient to the city of Clearwater and walking distance to nearby restaurants.

The staff was nice, but the hotel need major up keeping, dead roaches in the room. Not a pleasant experience at all.

Friendly owner, he treated us like royalty. The room was very clean and the inside has been freshly redone. Our room had a smart TV, stand up shower, even had a new bedspread set put on while we checked in. Will definitely come back again.
