I was in town for a family medical emergency. After driving 24hrs, I didn't stay more than 15 minutes. Long enough to book a room elsewhere. (non-refundable booking so I lost $200) I travel a lot and this was among the worst places I've ever stayed. I did not feel safe here. The photos of the rooms are deceiving. The layers of black dirt smudge down the front of the office door and handle was the first clue. The room was long overdue for cleaning and painting; stains on the walls and floors, drips down the front of the furniture. The tub was disgusting. Refrigerator had crud in the corners. No coffee supplies. Floors hadn't been washed in a very long time. The bedding was iffy with pillows covered in worn cases. The neighborhood is sketchy at best. Enough folks hanging around that the cleaning and painting could be accomplished if they made the effort...! REPLACE THE TUB.

Well maintained with recent renovations. Clean rooms and quite location. Will be back again

I was charged a $40 security deposit that I still haven't received back. Ive stayed here many times and was never charged a deposit.

The deposit for this small rinky dink place is ridiculous. Wouldn't ever book here again, the night shift guy was rude and impolite. Still haven't received my deposit back yet.

Great atmosphere great customer service I'm very clean very well informed the policy and procedure and stuff This overall great visit will be staying there more often thank you very much! You did great $40 deposit had to be in cash besides that nothing else More information on weekly rates

Very awkward approach to the property due to one-way roads.

Everything was great

The place lacks on amenities. No kleenex in rooms, breakfast included was a joke. No ice buckets and when i requested ice they gave me a solo cup full.

Parking was okay

The room we stayed in looked nothing like the pictures in the preview. Located at a very inconvenient intersection. Bathroom had a fresh mess.

Air conditioning worked well. My only comnplaint was the mattress was uncomfortable and left my back sore.

The staff was horrible cuz they had $20 key deposit and in an when I tried to get my $20. He said no cuz I was pass check out. Which I was out of the room at 10:30 which this hotel was the only one with a 1030 checkout. I was just organizing my vehicle on the property. So when I was done it was 11am and he said No I'm keeping it cuz you were late. That was a key deposit not for anything else.So he robbed me in my eyes but I had traveled atw from MI cuz my son was on ecmo & ventilator. I was exhausted and it was not worth it to me to argue with the man. The fire alarm beeped all night long and asked him to come fix it but never showed up. So I disconnected the fire alarm from the ceiling. No ice or vending machines either. Would not recommend at all

Comfy beds and cold AC! Great to have a fridge too. Close to Baycare Sound!

A little pricey for condition the room was in

I booked on a wrong date. But thankfully they had the last room late in the night. Room was clean and cold for a good night sleep.

It was an amazing experience and very reasonably priced. Had no complaints room was clean and in good condition.

I needed an overnight stay for a business trip. I was going to just sleep there and get up early and leave. The room was clean except for the bedspread but they gave me a new one. During the night though there was very loud talking right outside my door, a dog barking and what sounded like someone snaking a drain at about 2 am. I banged on the wall and finally it stopped. I'm not sure what was going on there. The staff was nice but it seems like this place is under renovation maybe? I don't know. I probably would not stay there again. I think I paid around $180 so it was not like it was a really cheap hotel. Also, the TV worked intermittently.

Staff and owners were very helpful

I love this motel. The staff is always friendly and the rooms are very clean. They also make you feel welcome when you check in. I have been staying here for quite awhile, perfect when you need some alone time.

Basic no frills hotel. Just needed a shower, toilet, and a bed. Served its purpose. Between TD Ballpark and Clearwater beach. Easy to uber around from this hotel.

It is located on a rather run down section of Clearwater. Getting to this hotel is not easy to figure out and it took us several attempts to find a way to access the entrance area. The hotel itself is in serious need of better upkeep - our sink faucet leaked, the TV was not working when we arrived (the nice desk person did get it working; we could have done it ourselves if there had been some instructions in the room), the refrigerator smelled and the freezer was frozen sold - there was water dripping in the tray), the room is very dingy and not welcoming - the baseboards are dirty and the paint is coming off, the furniture on the room would not be sold in a thrift shop, room insulation is poor and you can hear the people in the room above - every word and every foot step, The room was non-smoking but they have ash trays outside on the ledges of the windows and we had smoke coming in through our door from the chain smoker a room away. This is not a deluxe hotel and they can charge the prices they do because they are near the beach. We were there for a meeting only and we never wanted to return to the room because we found it so depressing. We basically just slept and showered there. The bed was OK and the sheets were clean. They gave us one small travel size shampoo and two small soap bars for the three days we were there. The positives: parking next to the room was excellent and the gentleman working at the desk was very nice and helpful.

It’s a motel, didn’t expect much. Overall not bad. Stayed at worse. Smells a little funny, floors a little sticky, and cigarette burns in the comforter of what’s supposed to be a non smoking room. But hey, it was the cheapest place to stay within 45 minutes of the area.

I chose this property because of the great reviews. It is obvious that the great reviews come from the owners. This place is run down and falling apart. It is what you world expect for $40 per night not $200.

Older hotel kept in excellent shape. Very nice and clean and the room smelled fresh. The road going in to the entrance a little confusing, the city didn’t do a great job in planning this. I will stay again. Great 24 hr diner down the road.

Bugs in room, people fighting most of the night next door, lot of sketchy people on property

The property is an older building with outside room entry and regular keys. It was in good overall shape. The room was clean and worked great for us.

I had to cancel b/c my plan changed but came back few days later. The room was clean, hot water worked, and the big TV was a nice touch. Outside, the street's had a makeover – now there's a bike lane and walk lane. Simple and practical, just how I like it.

thoroughly enjoyed my stay at this motel. The room was immaculate and offered ample space, all at a very reasonable price. The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful. wholeheartedly recommend this.

You get what you pay for. It wasn't the best and it wasn't the worst place I've ever stayed at, it was clean enough for the two nights we stayed. My only complaint was the door to the room, there were gaps around the bottom of the door and it was not very secure.

It feels pretty bare bones, but it is on the low price end, and it's safe and fairly clean with friendly staff, so it should potentially do fine, if you are low-maintenance looking for a place to sleep.

I had wonderful stay. The area is newly renovated and looks clean and modern. The staff was extremely accommodating and cordial.

Clean and functional! No frills, not even a coat hanger, but perfectly fine for a couple nights stay!

Friendly fella at the front desk. The room served its purpose for two nights. Convenient location. Construction on the street out front made it tricky to find the entrance. Clean room. No frills. Budget place for a night or two… but you get what you pay for. Only thing it lacked was any kind of a shelf in the bathroom for your toiletries. Nowhere to set them down other than the floor.

Right for the money

The hotel is conveniently located between downtown Tampa and Clearwater beach. The room was clean and comfortable, working AC and nice hot shower. Front desk staff was very friendly. Perfect hotel for a lower budget trip to the area. There was construction happening outside the hotel which made entering and exiting a little complicated, but overall very pleased with our 2 night stay.

The first room was ok the second room was much better. The hotel is in a good location, easy access to the beach via causeway, and everything works in the room.

Friendly staff. Will definitely be back again.

Pleasant and adequate

No electrical outlet in the bathroom so you can use a hair dryer, a curling iron, an electric shaver, etc. Little complimentary plastic bottle of shampoo was on the bathroom counter, but it was half empty and obviously used by the previous occupant. No Kleenex/tissue paper in the bathroom. Bathroom mirror obviously had not been cleaned or had Windex sprayed on it in ages. Lamp on the little table next to the side of the bed did not work -- no light bulb. No clock/alarm clock in the room. Heater didn't work. Only spewed out cool air, and it was very noisy. Door to the room didn't shut all the way and let cold air in. We had to tightly stuff towels along the side and bottom of the door to help keep the cold air out. I accidentally spilled a drink on the floor. When I cleaned it up with a towel, the towel was black! The floor had not been cleaned or washed in ages. Little coffeemaker in the room, but no coffee... not even a single paper cup. The room was overall very run-down and in poor shape. No upkeep, painting or any kind of maintenance done for who knows since when. The door to the room from the outside had a disgusting dirty ash tray sitting there right by it. We give this place zero stars and will never return.

Place was clean and bed was comfy. It was right off a main drag so it was a little noisy but w my ac running it mostly drowned it out. Good place for a hot shower and comfy bed tosleep. Just the basics but good enough for a couple nights.

It is a very basic motel. No lamps by the bedside - we took the lamp off the desk. No maid service (covid rules ha ha) but they would supply linens to us. I had to pay a $40 deposit in cash - even with my payment by credit card....it was refunded when I turned in my key. Our goal was a place to sleep at night - we came in late and left early both mornings. We were there for a death in the family, not for fun. It was adequate. It is not a room where you can spend part of the day lounging around.

Room too much small bet and hair is in Restroom A/C sound like tank I will never want go there....

There was roaches in my room. My brother came to bring me food. Didn’t even stay 10 minutes and the owner ran down to my room yelling no visitors!!! The price was extremely high for room. I understand it was New Year’s Eve… but wow.

The reception wasn’t a real reception. I had te check in by a small window.i had a 2 bed room I was only 1 person and I had asked not to use the second bad. The condition on the room and the restroom was terrible.ac was to noisy and I had to sleep without it.

The property is not as advertised. I did not feel safe staying here, there we people standing outside in the parking lots. The place did not look clean and definitely not what I thought I was paying for. We ended up getting a much nicer room 15 minutes away for only $15 more. I am hoping that I will be able to get a refund since I did not stay for the fact that I did not feel safe here with my family.

They refused to let me stay there because I had lost my ID but I had a picture of it but they wouldn't accept the picture of it and I had it all kinds of other identification crew I was who I was and I paid for it in advance. These people are mean and horrible I'm a 73 year old Vietnam veteran and I've been a pastor for 44 years and a certified mental health counselor 4:42. They were very rude and nasty and didn't care who I was or where I was from. Plus I'm the published author of four books they're not bestsellers the key to stay free which is helps me help prisoners to help themselves. It's all about my prison ministry and giving. My motto is the key to a better life is a charitable heart. And the true measure of a man is not what he doesn't like for himself but what he does in like to serve his fellow man.

Im pretty sure you can only pull into this place one way, (it was dark and I’m not from here) it took me awhile to even get in it! Once I finally pulled in i felt somewhat uncomfortable.. the area it’s in and the vibe it gives. The door had three locks so that made me feel a little better... I guess? The employee was nice, talked through the window. Once you get in the room it was actually shockingly “homey” and clean. I only booked to sleep there. Ended up hoping I didn’t get taken/killed in my sleep. Weird vibes but it wasn’t terrible - seemed over priced...

Terrible place to stay even for cheap. The coffee creamers were all hard. The people didn’t care about us needing towels and told us to wait til morning. The crazy lady was banging on our door to kick us out when we still had one night to stay. Don’t ever bang on my door like the police. Why is the toilet so close to the wall. The whole place was pretty dirty. I wiped the base board and it just showed they don’t properly clean the place.

It was not a great experience. Hard to into parking lot. No hair dryer, no ice machine,no phone to call the office . We had to walk to office and the door was locked during the day. The one day they did not ckean our room at all. I would not go back to the Travelers Inn.

I note there is no ICE MACHINE - or at least its so well hidden that I was unable to find it.

For being so affordable...the place was very clean and the beds were comfortable. The check in/out process was quick and easy too.

Cheap prices, easy check in, nice people. But the doors were kinda scary because you could see outside underneath and around them. If you have allergies there is a moldy smell that may set them off. I woke up with severe congestion and a swollen and red eye, which was resolved woth a hot shower and somr allergy meds. I would probably come back if updates were made. But it worked for a one nighter.
