The exterior of this place looks abandoned with unkempt landscaping and ages old broken cement deco from another era. Room was BARELY clean. Bed was okay. Should be in the $69 per night range.

The rooms are absolutely clean and modern. There are some that have actual kitchenettes, such as a small stove, coffee maker, a small sink, a fridge and a microwave. It is home away from and near all major attractions, great food spots the beach etc. And it is surprisingly quiet. You can hear the traffic. But it is quiet in general no loud noises. Has a pool and security for extra measure. The outside is also very well maintained. Would highly recommend.

Customer service was excellent! The price was super good. The room was very clean and smelled really nice The bed was so comfortable. There was cameras everywhere. The pool area was lovely and very clean. The location is great! Not from from the beach and very close to so many shopping centers. It was very easy to find and was not that far from the stadium.

The ac took hours to kool the room. Barely clean. It’s basic. A step above camping. Sorta

Good location, room was clean, pool was nice. For $125/ night wasn't bad. Property would not allow us to rent a king room with 2 children under 2 that co sleep with us. The Property charged us $150 extra to rent a 2 queen room, which was uncomfortable for us to co sleep in. Based on this i would not recommend this Property.

Great stay!

The owner is really nice he was always asking if we needed anything and was always outside cleaning up the pool taking all the trash out he does a amazing job at keeping his hotel nice The bathrooms a little small but other than that everything was great!

I liked the location, the convenience of parking, the staff, and the furniture in the room. It was clean though there were a few bugs. The room was suitable for the location and price. I had to go get an iron because it was not in the room, and I got locked out before checkout. My key suddenly did not work when I went to the car to get something. I was not prepared to be outside. Also, I had to kill a few bugs, which made me nervous about leaving my belongings open in the room.

It was an older place with older decor but for the price of 83 a night (from expedia) it was a decent choice. It had more space than a hotel room with living/dining area and with a couch. It also had a kitchenette with some older pans and dishes for 2 or 3 people. There many restaurants and fast food places nearby and just a couple miles to Clearwater beach. It wasn't a perfect place but it was very functional for the price and located near alot of stores and food places and the interstate.

To be fair.. I never checked in. My flight had been diverted so I arrived 2 hours early to drop off luggage and potentially pay for an early check-in. Even though the “open sign” was displayed and I waited 12 minutes- and walked the property-nobody was present. Then I called and no answere. I then returned and did the same 40 minutes later (after falling on their non-painted step) and the same…ghosted! I have pics and a video I’ll post soon.

AC was sufficient. Room was very clean. TV not great. Both sound and picture were poor. Motel is old but had small kitchenette, sofa, and king size bed. Plus a full bathroom. Kitchen had small stove, microwave, sink, and refrigerator. It was quiet even during spring break! Everything was clean. I walked around in white socks that stayed white!!

Friendly staff, comfortable room. Good location. Convenient because there was a small ‘kitchen’ with full size refrigerator. A bit outdated- no daily room service. Not sure what kind of a schedule they had for towels and linens, also trash pick-up. No communication about it during check in.

The room could have been cleaner. There was dirt on both sides of the bathroom door like it had never been wiped. There was a strong smell of deodorizer that was almost unbearable.

If you like a throwback to the 1970s, then this hotel/motel could be perfect for you. The rooms are incredibly dated. The room was clean but just felt old and dirty. The air-conditioning worked. I did not use the pool. The linens were clean and smelled nice but you could tell they haven't been replaced in a while. The shower had good water pressure. But I'll say it again. The room was 90% less in quality than a Marriott or Hilton. I would recommend spending the extra money and staying in a nicer hotel / motel.... but if you're desperate… or just needed a place to shower before heading to the airport for a late flight… As what I used it for…This is your place.

Rundown old motel, but clean and ok for a night.

I had to ask for help to turn on the television, but the desk clerk came right up immediately and fixed it for me. The air conditioner wasn’t on when I entered the room, but it cooled the room quickly. The facilities are simple and clean. I appreciated that my room had a toaster.

The property was pretty good, but it would’ve been better if the hot water worked in the area where you wash your hands it did work in the shower area so I was able to have warm showers, but the sink dripped a little bit like I had to put like a washcloth on the sink so I wouldn’t hear like the echo but the air conditioning worked and they had a heater in there. They really try hard to make things better when things didn’t work and that’s why I gave the staff five stars because they really put an effort to make things better. I mean I wish there were someone at the desk all night that would’ve been nice too, but other than that, they really made an effort when they were open.

Motel was dated, but in very nice condition. Nice pool. AC unit was finicky, but worked. I would stay there again.

The bed was extremely uncomfortable. I left at midnight as it was so hard and stiff. Room was big and clean but tv was awful also and AC fairly loud. Guess it would be ok to crash after you are partying. Not planning on returning.

First of all, the hotel was rated as an 8. NOT EVEN CLOSE! The 'lobby' smelled like someone just cooked their Indian meal plus there is a shrine to 'something' right there. Unsettling!. There was some paint cans and brushes just outside the door. Nasty! I could not stay in the room. It was CREEPY! DO NOT STAY HERE!

The room was very clean. It had a nice comfortable queen bed, a refrigerator, stove and microwave. It also had a sofa. The room was spacious and had heat! Which I truly appreciated as it was very cold!

This was a great stay for a budget hotel. The proprietor was friendly and accommodating. The furnishings are quirky and old fashioned, but I found them fun. The Crest Lake Park is AMAZING for a morning walk with sea birds, a block away.

Room dated, no hot water for shower.. First room smelled very musty/smoky. Told owner and second room much better. He was very accommodating.

The owner-couple took extraordinary care of me. As a disabled vet, I had to evacuate during Helene and they assisted me with my luggage upon checkin, helped transfer me the next day to another room and were especially kind. The rooms have everything you need including a refrigerator, stove, dinning table, dishes, eating/cooking utentsils and a kitchen sink! A trip to Publix resulted in a substantial savings in food/beverage expenditures. I highly recommend this motel - especially for longer term stays.

When we got inside, we were pleasantly surprised. It was comfortable, clean and had everything you needed for a short stay.

Owner charged more after paying on Expedia because he has to pay Expedia a fee. No coffee for coffee maker. Stained washcloths and towels and the tv didn’t work. Pool needs repair desperately

This was a very nice place to stay, and my room was clean and was very comfortable. The owners, both husband and wife were kind, and they took care of me in a professional manner. Always smiling, soft spoken and that was exactly how a business should be ran. Thank you

Check in took tooo long. Room was very dated. Motel seemed to have people living there and maybe drug activity. Couch was covered with a cover…hiding something?

The room had a stove and full size refrigerator, better than advertised! The room was spacious and pleasant. The king bed was comfortable. We had to carry out luggage up the stairs but it worked out fine. I'd stay here again.

Keep in mind it’s an old motel, but it served my needs fine. Generally clean, easy in/out and has a kitchen area with what you need for a short stay for a reasonable price.

For me, a hidden gem for a short stay. It's nothing fancy, but very confortable and clean. The room looks and feels great. Close to various restaurants and fast foods. I will stay again if I'm in the area.

I reviewed the photos in the carefully website. The write up made it sound like a step up so I did not mind pay a little more money for this place. It was not a horrible place but just average. I thought it would be much better. Could have received an equivalent hotel for almost half the rate.

This an older hotel but the service, comfort and size of the rooms makes up for it. Getting personalized service with a friendly face these days is unheard of. The bed was comfortable. The room had a full kitchenette and a table with chairs. Even though it's on the main road, it was quiet. I would definitely stay here again

Spacious room with a full kitchen. Very comfortable bed and gorgeous outdoor swimming pool. Very courteous and helpful owner. Shower head low on the wall. A person over 6’ would have problems.

Although the room was large and had a kitchen the furnishings were old and uncomfortable. There was a coffee pot but no coffee. The air conditioning units were loud and the one in the main room didn’t blow very cold. There was an odd smell in the room. There was a TV in the living area that I could not get to work. No TV in the bedroom. Bathroom looked dated and the tub had stains in it. On a positive note the shower had great water pressure. The hotel is centrally located to the Clearwater area.

Room was very clean, bed was SUPER soft mattress so I didn’t sleep to well but that was no fault of the lodge. Kitchen was fully stocked with plates cups, posts ect.
