    We checked out after this to deesclate the situation and they inspected the room to get our money and I track everything with my wheelchair so there was a dirt spot the size of a penny and they claimed it was my boyfriend pooping, worst costumer service ever!

    Staff was friendly and helpful, but the property is run down and disguesting. The owner needs to step up and do better. We stayed 3 nights and if we had other options, we would have left after the first hour. Our room smelled like a stale fart mixed with mold and ciggarettes. The floor was so dirty, our white socks had black bottoms from walking around the room. My husband had to ram his shoulder into the door to get it to open, and there was a giant gap at the bottom of the door that any bug or small rodent could fit under. The bathroom door scrapped the floor and there wasn't a hair dryer. The ice machine did not work, we had to go to the gas station and purchase bags of ice. This property allowed people to live at the motel, adding to the unpleasent atmosphere. Part of the second floor steps where not accessable because the stairs were missing some steps and looked like it had been like that for awhile. DO NOT STAY HERE!!!! This place should be shutdown by the health department. Do yourself a favor and spend a few more bucks to go to a different motel/hotel. I'd poke myself in the eye with a rusty nail before I'd stay here again.

    The worst red roof we’ve probably ever stayed at maintenance was lacking everywhere. The place was just rundown as you will see in the pictures I will not be staying there again. Floors were filthy paint peeling on the walls inside the toilet looked horrible. Overall lousy stay will not be coming back. We love red roof, Inn, but stand clear of this one

    Both Hotel rooms had live and dead bugs everywhere. The exhaust fan in the bathroom was actually blowing in from a dryer in a different location. The was significant mold in the bathroom. The bed sheets were filthy. Dirty dog prints were on the mattresses. Dog and human hair were all over the furniture.

    The door was broken, the lock did not work the key card did not work. There’s a gap under the door creating a very cold chill in the room. The room was also not cleaned and looked like it was from 1994. Which isn’t awful if it would have been better taken care of. This also backs up to a entrance to the highway and is very loud. Not worth the money

    The staff was very rude and disrespectful. Me and My Husband was awaken out of our sleeps by bedbugs eating him up on his back. We immediately turned the lights on and seen the bedbugs crawling. Now we checked the bed before we came in last night, but it was very late and we weren’t in the room all day we came back around 12 midnight from with our family because my sister just had babies so we came down to be able to help her out and also we did some shopping and we woke up to the books eating him on his back and when we flick the light on, they were just crawling and we have videos. The owner was very rude. Couldn’t put us in another accommodation in another room said the hotel was booked full, and the hotel was not booked full at all. The staff is horrible housekeeping is trash room looked at clean, but has bedbugs

    The gentleman at front desk was nice and the older gentleman (army veteran) was really nice. Room wasn't very clean The bed had hair on sheets and a big hair ball stuck to the flat sheet... ALOT of stains on sheets, blankets and bed spread!!! The refrigerator smelled really bad and wasn't even plugged in... Holes in the couch... NOT IMPRESSED AT ALL WITH THIS PLACE.     Nothing. People live there and the room is outdated. That place needs so much maintenance done! Our room door wouldn’t lock shut so we had to put the desk in front of it for our own safety and let’s not mention that the place has roaches as well. The staff tried to scam us out of money because they said we didn’t leave until after check out time and that we didn’t leave the key knowing we did! Threatened to take $200 out of our back account and never called us back after we told them to check the cameras. Will NOT stay at ANY Red Roof Inns EVER again!!!!

    Nothing it was Disgusting!! The comforter has cigarette holes in them. The so called couch had cum stains that were visible to the naked eye! The chairs had rips and tears in them. It took the smelly old maintenance man almost an hour to fix the tv. There was NO coffee in the room at all! Had there been another option we would have left. We went and bought sheets and blankets for fear of catching something from laying on theirs! I would NEVER recommend this nasty place!!

    This was the worst hotel I have ever seen! I’m still trying to get my money back! The person that checked us in was sleeping then woke up and was so rude! We went to the room and as soon as we went in roaches started coming out…. A lot of them! I went back to the desk and said we needed our money back because of roaches and room was dirty! The check In person said yes I know about the bugs but that’s the only room left😡 so you know about the roaches?? DO NOT STAY HERE!!!!! We left it was disgusting and I am not exaggerating!!!

    Where do I begin… This motel is downright SCARY. DID NOT FEEL SAFE. My husband and I were traveling and needed to stay somewhere last minute to work with uninterrupted WiFi & if he wasn’t working until 330 am, we would’ve left running the minute we checked in. The lady at the desk was the only positive about this stay, she was very nice and accommodating. The motel room smelled terrible, the couch had holes, the bed and pillows were very old and flat. Stained sheets. Water in shower lukewarm AT BEST. Bugs galore, large gap under door so not sure how they’d keep the bugs out. You can hear everything from the “neighbors” including conversations about narcan in the middle of the night. Concerned that our car would be broken into, had to constantly watch out. No breakfast, not sure there was even a pool since we didn’t stay long enough to check. Just downright disgusting.

    No breakfast offered. Just coffee. And powdered milk. Ugh Room not cleaned at all on Sat, day 3. And no sheets changed the entire 3 nights. Floor warped and I tripped a few times. No hair dryer provided. And coffee machine had no carafe!!!! I was not a happy camper, so to speak.

    The floor was sticky and gritty! We stayed there for three nights, and the bed wasn't made or the sheets changed. Trash was emptied and coffee replenished--that was it for "maid service." The ice machine was broken. The picture on the TV was so bad that we didn't even watch it. There were only two bath towels in the bathroom. There was no food (although there were plenty of fast-food places around), and the vending machine in the lobby was nearly out of everything. The key card rarely worked, so we had to have a "real" key for the door. I would not recommend this place unless, as in our situation, there was a college graduation AND a sports tournament going on the same weekend and there was nothing else available.

    Not much was clean Says on the website has vending machine. Has none all it had was a clear front refrigerator with just a couple cans of drinks in it. Bed was like sleeping on a bunch of bags of potatoes. Toilet was loose at the base. When you seat on it. It turn to the side at the base and floor . Not secure to the floor. Room was a handicap room but it did not have any grab bars in the shower. Took a shower and noticed that the water was running out in the floor of the bathroom next to the toilet. Shower and bathroom floor were the same level. Might want to put a small lip at the entrance to the shower.

    Most disgusting hotel I have ever stayed. Only stayed 6 hours was itching the whole time. Woke up to find multiple bugs in my room. Desk chair had 15-18 inch rip where you could see padding and shower novel completely coming out of wall. Pulled to get toilet paper and the wall mount completely came out of wall. Never again!

    My girlfriend and I stayed here Saturday night and enjoyed the location. We drove to MS Sunday afternoon upon checkout, and I'm so grateful for the late checkout. The owner checked us in within 2min, and we had a room on the first floor. I did notice that the pillowcases could've been cleaner, and the nightstands needed a wipe down. The shower was warm and exactly what I needed. I loved the microwave and fridge, we were able to store our items from the cooler and reheat her dinner. There are ample outlets to charge electronic devices and the AC was definitely blowing on point. The TV was kinda weird, so we didn't use it. None of the channels loaded, so we used my laptop and mobile hotspot to stream via Hulu. The bed was super comfy, I passed out immediately, my boo had a great night sleep. I have family in Norris and this was the perfect place for us on our way home to Houston: close to HWY 75, food and beverage (Krystal, Zaxby's, Burger King, Hardee's, Dunkin Donuts, Subway, Taco Bell, and more), gas stations and Walmart. I'd stay there again for sure. The hospitality of the owner is the reason for this review. He was awesome, I just didn't catch his name. For my first time at the Red Roof Inn, I can't complain at all. I'm looking forward to staying there again next Spring.

    Expedia booked us at the wrong hotel twice. We were not on the red roof inns schedule for Saturday or Thursday. We paid for both nights. The motel said that it was the correct address but wrong location number. That was the location of Carysville, Tennessee. The manager would not honor our reservation and give us the room with two queen beds. They gave us a smoking room with a king and a couch because our payment went somewhere else and not to them. They did allow us to check out late, with out late check out fee, because we were not informed of the check out time. If they did not have the one remaining room they wanted us to call Expedia to sort it out because it wasn't their problem and they were honoring the two reservations that were not there but was on their schedule. I will from here on out call the place directly to make sure we are on the schedule. We had to pay the same rate for not nice smoking room. We still have call around to get reimbursed for the two nights there that were not at that motel.

    Roaches, roaches and more roaches. They were everywhere. The upkeep on this place is nonexistent. The ice machine, vending machines and washing machines were all broken. The shower curtain was molded and there were bugs everywhere. The staff was non responsive. Wouldn’t stay here again if they paid me.

    Entire room had musty smell. All linens was damp. Floors Dirty, bathroom dirty. Will not stay here again obviously! Tried to get cheap room since it was one night but at least expected room to be clean and not smell and have basics for the night.

    That's the second one I've stayed in in the past few weeks I won't give it a third try there were no bugs but it was dirty it made me feel like I needed a shower sleeping in that room. the chair that was in there had stain all over it the one wall had mold along with the ironing board mold and rips, was supposed to be a non-smoking room but that's all it smelled of. The ceiling had chipped paint hanging. That was the second red roof and both in different states and both not very good taken care of I'd rather spend a little bit more money for something nicer and where I feel comfortable.

    To put it mildly, the place had not been cleaned in weeks. Yes, the sheets were changed and the beds were made, but there is dirt all over the floors. There appeared to be mold growing in the shower handle as well. When we showed housekeeping/maintenance, they said they had cleaned 2 days ago. The amount of dirt I gathered on a wet towel told me all I needed to know. You do not get that much dirt in 2 days. Even so, they did nothing to make it right. When my wife complained to the clerk on the phone, she made excuses and told her we should have told them sooner. Then the manager yells as tme for asking for a refund and then tells me to get out of his hotel.

    The room wasn’t as clean as I would had liked. There was dirt in the bathroom and on the floors. There were no towels or wash cloths and when I went to get some the front clerk gave us 2- there was 6 of us , she said that was the only amount she was allowed to give! There was no land line phone but there was a cord for one when I asked clerk she just shrugged her shoulders said some rooms had them some didn’t. The smoke alarm was in the night stand drawer so thankful there was no fire and my cell phone had service!!

    The worst owner i have ever seen. He is rude and arrogant. Never apologizes fir anything. Hotel is dirty, has bugs, heat and as or dont work half the time. Key pads dont work. The maintenance guy supposedly "cleans" rooms too, does a bad job. The rooms stink.

    DO NOT STAY HERE!!!! Hotel is dirty, owner is extremely Rude and arrogant, Was locked out of my room because owner accused me of listing my children under 10 when i booked reservation when that statenent was false when i confronted him we were thrown out of hotel. The cleaning and maintenance staff is a joke. And recently read more then a few other reviews of bed bugs. Also key pad was broken took 40 minutes to get into my room and heat was broken as well. Very cold all night. Owner never apologized or tried to make anything right only retaliated with false accusations. If i could give this hotel a 0 rating, that would be accurate.

    Bathroom stunk like sewage. The odor was coming from the drain in the bath tub. Had to close the bathroom door. We checked in and left for our adventure and out for a meal. By the time we got back to our room it was late or else we would had asked for another room.

    The door to my room was open when I got there, and when I check in to a outside room at midnight as a single woman, I’d appreciate not starting out on red alert because there was a possibility of someone hiding in that room.

    This is a property owned and operated by people who truly do not care at all. We stay at Red Roof Inns frequently because of their great pet (no charge) policy. Even after trying two rooms, we found this property to be so filthy we went to another property across the street and paid a $50 pet premium to stay in a room in a place where the management had pride in their place of business.

    The room smelled like mold and the floors were sticky the sheet had yellow spots on them so the staff sent more and the same . People hanging out all night in the parking lots will never stay there again

    I was disappointed with the room. It was musty. Especially when turning on the AC. It was a horrible smell, that made my asthma flare up. The room Fridge had was disgusting. It had mold and mildew inside. I couldn't put any of my food inside. So I had to throw my food away. The baseboard by the sink was peeling off and had a disgusting substance falling out. It was not worth my money and I really wish i had gone with a different hotel.

    First room they gave me, the AC unit was completely broken, and I could smell smoke in the room even though it was a no smoking room, I’m very sensitive to smoke though. 2nd room was much better, but still had a tiny fragrance of smoke. Would not recommend if smoke really bothers you. What bothered me was that they gave me a room with a broken AC unit, did they not even know about it? It was frustrating.

    Wouldn't stay again. Wish I had read reviews first. Had to give a cash deposit even though they had my card already. Not too big a deal. Staff was nice. Room, however, was gross. Stains on everything. Clearly been smoked in with fresh ashes on toilet seat and burns everywhere. This is a non smoking hotel. Door wouldn't shut completely. Bathroom light fixture fell off while we were sleeping. Old food in microwave. Flat pillows. Electrical fire burns on outlet and they didn't bother to wipe off. Hair dryer wire had burnt holes in it. I would think this wouldnt be up to fire safety codes. Floor was not swept or mopped. This was not normal red roof inn quality. Was a great location though.

    DO NOT STAY HERE!!! Our truck, trailer and side by sides were stolen from this property! Management did not care or try to help. We checked in T 12:30am and by 3:00am everything was gone. The room had dirty towels, sheets and smelled horrible. If you value you’re belongings do not stay here!!!

    It was cheap but that doesn't mean it should lack decent cleaning. We had two rooms. One had a dead bedbug on the floor, thankfully there were no live ones, and we didn't leave with any. The other room had a cigarette burn in the sheets and after spilling a bit of water on the hard floor, wiped it with a washcloth and the washcloth came up dark brown. Don't know when the floor was cleaned last but it wasn't recently. Did not stay here on our way back through the area.

    The door was broken and wouldn’t stay closed without the deadbolt locked. I later was informed by maintenance that it had been kicked in by some drunk guy and they hadn’t replaced it yet.

    This was a well-appointed room with a comfortable bed. The carpet-free floor looked like it had not been mopped for awhile, but the room was otherwise really really nice and overall a very nice experience. The bed was very comfortable and for a one-night stay on the way home from Thanksgiving with family, it was a good choice for us.

    The room appeared clean, but it was WELL used. Bath area was not clean, handicap shower seat cushion was mildewed and bent, forcing me to hold on to my husband to keep him from falling off the seat. The coffee pot was dirty and had moldy coffee grinds inside. The advertisement said continental breakfast was available, the manager said they no longer served breakfast. We had asked for a handicapped room, and it showed on our receipt but when we got there they told us that it was NOT on their copy. They put us in a different room. Ice machine area was VERY nasty.

    Non smoking room that was obviously smoking in recent past. Bathroom sink area walls, outlets, and hair dryer were filthy, with splatters of what I hope was ketchup. Outlet cover missing near bed and shower curtain rod was falling off the wall.

    Lamp in room did not work. The wire had a torn wire. Light bulb did not work. I did not know there was shortage in the wire and when I plugged in my phone it caused an electric shortage. The room smelled of smoke and had to call front desk to come spray an air freshner in the room. It was marked as a non-smoking room. The bedspread had stains all along the sides of it. General appearance of the hotel needs to be updated. Light fixtures hanging down and partial paint on the walls. Staff was helpful but facility needs to be upgraded. Will not use this hotel again!

    The room we were given first had some kind of stains on the bedspread that was not a set in stain, it was recent. The room also stunk so we asked for a different room but was told that it would also smell! There was never any ice in the ice machine since the workers were filling up their coolers. Worst Red Roof Inn experience ever and we won’t be going back.

    We booked a non smoking room. 1st room smelled of cigarettes and had a large burnhole in the bedspread so they put us in another room. That room smelled better but the sheets were stained and the TV was on when we got in the room apparently they left it on cause in the morning when we tried to turn it on it wouldn't turn on right away and the volume didn't work. And the facility advertised breakfast, there was no breakfast. Overall it was a poor experience. I'm really not that hard to please all I want is a clean comfortable room.
