Worst breakfast, or plain to say there was no breakfast, coffee is nasty. And no ice machine.

Bugs, bugs, it was filthy with a bust film on everything.

1. The room was super clean, good smell. Just I found two little cockroaches, one in the bed. 2. The woman in the counter was good. 3. This is the “breakfast” they had: bread, muffins, oranges, coffee and cereal. It was not pleasant, I had to eat real breakfast outside every day. 4. The last morning (time to checkout) was one man of the staff at the door literally 11 o’clock when we were emptying the room to go down. I thinks that’s a little uncomfortable. If you’re looking just a place to stay this place is okay, but if you’re looking for something more or good breakfast is not for you.

The front desk clerk was iheavily intoxicated

This is probably the worse place I’ve stayed at very run down no staff at front desk when u need something breakfast was basically muffins and cereal milk had to practically beg to get clean towels n u only got them if u turned the old ones in . We were due to check out at 11 when I called front desk housekeeper want even in yet I explained to him we were checking out n we needed cleans towels n washcloths to shower this was around 8 finally at 1015 she brings us two towels n picks up the old ones no washcloths or anything thank God I had some in my bag and we were able to shower before we left. The beds are so hard all u do is toss and turn all night and in !’!the back of the motel was trash empty tv boxes just a mess I will never stay here again we would have been better off sleeping in the car DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY HERE!!!!

Breakfast ? everything seemed like it was out for a week ? the parking isn't so good can't park at your room ? oh they have live ins with dogs ?? big pit bulls also a homeless female was setting on the sidewalk for hours for close to to 90 dollars we expected better

Nothing except close to the interstate. Where do I start? No hot water, sink wouldn’t drain, cabinets broken, musk smell in the room, cockroaches throughout the room.

I wouldn’t stay there again if it was free. We went to our room and it stunk like cigarettes and there were cockroaches on the floor. I asked for an immediate refund

Room was pretty clean except for toilet being dirty. Breakfast was out when we arrived at 10 pm so that was a big red flag

The smoke detector inside room was chirping all night first night. The Ice maker was broken.

Pet charge was higher at property than what was posted on expedia.

The toilet would not flush, table was broke, and ice machine broke while we were there.

Rooms are nasty. Sheets dirty. Outdated. Staff was rude. Dont stay there

The room felt neglected, generally dirty and dated. It constantly had cigarettes smell, heater made lots of noise. My room card was deactivated the 2nd day by mistake, cleaning staff asked me hurry to leave though i check out time was later

The room was not in good condition. There was a USED bar of soap left in the shower. Trash left behind the night stand. The bathroom door wouldn't stay closed.

I like that the Wi-Fi was strong. That’s it. The staff is horrible. They were rude. They didn’t give any of the request I asked for.

Not much of anything there. Coffee was empty at 7 am and they did not refill it. One apple, a few muffins and a couple od granola bars. Two oranges. Get rid of the bugs!!! Better job on cleaning, Coffee pot in room did not work. Old coffee under it and bug.

The room was clean. The bed are comfortable. Staff was friendly. The hotel is a good value.

The first night there was a drug bust right next door which did not let us sleep at all & it was pretty scary having small children. Location was very convenient for us & had major stores nearby, but most likely would not stay again.

Budget accommodations were adequate. Property was quiet and well-maintained. I arrived at 3:15 p.m. Waited in deserted lobby for half an hour, repeatedly ringing bell for service, along with others, before proprietor appeared to check us in.

Forgot to put up earings and when we came back, they were gone

Please check I checked in on the 17th and had to check out on the 18th because had problems at home . Talked to manager and she was going to call and fix the dates on my stay. I don't want to pay for 8 days and only stayed ONE.

Our room: Our king-size bed was clean and comfortable. You could see the attempts to improve things. A working microwave, frig, and digital TV with Comcast. On the downside, my bedside lamp w/ USB was broken, the coffeemaker was broken, the carpeting really needed cleaning (no babies!), and the bathroom fixtures looked the original beige (1970's?) but at least clean. Biggest Beef: Motels advertising a free breakfast of some kind should have it ready from for travelers, typically 6-9a. All we wanted was coffee to go. We finally left at 7a, the office was still closed, lights off, and of course, breakfast prep had not even started. Conclusion: For travelers needing a place to stay overnight with expectations as low as the price, Super 8 in Clinton will work for you.

Property smelled like stale smoke and had roaches crawling. Did not have breakfast as advertised. Creepy old man making comments. Left and demanded r Ed fund

The front office

The hotel was in a good location and easy to get to. The outside was pretty well maintained, but the room itself was not. The sheets on one of the beds was dirty and the other bed had a dirty bedspread with dried up food on it. The bathmat in the bathroom was dirty and the bathroom sink did not work at all- as in no water from either knob. The bedside lamp was nearly impossibly to turn on and some of the plug ins would not hold a plug in them. The beds were so hard, that it was next to impossible to stay asleep. Finally, the carpet was just straight sticky in the room. All this aside, the staff at the hotel seemed pleasant when I interacted with them, but that was about the extent of the positivity unfortunately. Also, my husband had ventured to the “breakfast area” to note that the few muffins they had sitting out had a fly on it. So, he instead just took the only thing that was repacked (some chewy bars and Oreo cookies) to hold over our children until we could buy breakfast elsewhere.

Friendly staff. We reserved the 2nd to last room and parking was a bit overcrowded. Overall place was clean and felt safe. Would stay again for a night, not more. Air conditioner didn't quite get the room cooled but already cut the heat that was in the room from being turned off all day.

We could not check in it was locking and no one was answering the phone or bell, called and they had us drive to a different hotel and couldn't check in there because she had ran her report and we couldn't check in until noon. We let the hotel know that we were running extremely late and this still happened. This was so frustrating, we paid for a place to sleep and had to pay at another hotel chain to be able to get a few hours of sleep . We had been on the road for hours and hours. So disappointed!!!!

Always stay here every year when I drive up to visit family in the area. Staff is always friendly & helpful. Easy access to shopping & places for food.

There were towels and vacuums siting around outside. Both decorative covers on the beds had cigarette holes. The toilet seat cover wasn’t clean. Also there were three dirty towels left in the bathroom.

Had to wait an hour fir someone ti come and check us in and theres cigarette burns on our blanket.this is suppose to be a non smoking room.

Extreme safety issue. No excuse for door locks to not be replaced/working after 8 months. Will not stay here again. Also NS room reaked of smoke.

The stay was enjoyable from start to finish i did notice that the lounge chair in the room was damaged but did not bother me. Should have let front dest know i sleed during the day and awake at night so house keeping would not try to enter while i was sleeping.

A lot of suspicious activity all night, the TV had several lines across the screen, filthy carpet, toilet paper holder would not stay mounted to the wall, refrigerator had a leg missing making it wobble and there was a sucker sticking out of the air conditioner even though the room was supposedly cleaned each day

There was hair in the sink and in the bathroom, there was mold in the freezer part of the fridge, the toilet seat had dried pee on the seat online it advertised free breakfast but there was nothing the front office part was locked not even coffee. Had to ring bell to wake up someone to even check out at 7:30 am

I paid for a king non-smoking room. When i arrived the motel said the only king non-smoking room they had the door lock was faulty/broken(which made me feel unsafe right from the beginning). The motel proceeded to offer a double non-smoking room which my wife and i looked at. There was still cleaning materials in the floor, the toilet did not flush properly, and the room wasn't that clean. My wife and i returned the keys around 4pm and drove home 3 hrs. I would like to get a refund because i did not get offered the room i paid for and what they tried to substitute for it was not ok.

Room was decorated nicely. No breakfast, lobby was dark 7:50 a.m.

Clerk checked phone 2x during brief check-in. Room not clean. Trash in both wastebaskets, debris on floor. Non-smoking room smelled of smoke, cigarette burn on spread, no cover on outlet, fabric on side chair & ottoman shredded. Microwave didn't work.

This place is a joke TV didn't work they wouldn't fix it roaches in room next morning i have Pictures sink loose open it mold everywhere i have Pictures. I had already booked prior and didn't get here till 11 PM had so didn't know how bad it was. Will not stay here again if I could get my money back it would be appreciated. No breakfast next morning we woke them up at 8 and there was no breakfast

When we first got there, we waited at the desk 45 min. To get checked in, we rang the bell, called out for help and even tried to call the hotel. We called the reservation line and they tried calling also if no luck. When the girl finally came, she said they were right there and accused me of lying. I paid for a king room and was told it wasn’t available so I got 2 full size beds instead. The room didn’t look like it had been cleaned, there was hair everywhere and the bathroom was nasty. We had to clean the room ourselves. Next morning, went to check out and guess what, nobody was in the office! Will never stay here again for any reason.

For a very affordable place we were surprised by the size of the rooms and how clean they were. Close to everything on the exit.

We had no noise problems. There were no interior (dead bolt or latch) locks on the door to our room. The room was relatively clean and was checked/cleaned every day. Overall better than you would expect for this price point.

Even though it was clear they were in the process of renovating, I’m relieved I booked here after a rough stay on Merchants. Check in was easy, the room’s AC had a “dry” dehumidifying setting perfect for after a shower or hot day, and it was easy to catch up on sleep. Will book again for future trips.

I never stayed yet they refuse to cancel my reservation. We were halted driving through hurrucane Helene downpour and dark unable to safely continue to the hotel. The manager was rude and not concerned for our safety. Iwas shocked. We have stayed many times at Super 8 this year but I am going to rethink my choices if this nonregard to reasons to cancel is in place. Corporate should look at this!! Frances Andrews

Desk staff was great, but I had a cockroach jumped out at me by the bathroom area. I felt uncomfortable after seeing it.

There was people at a back building watching as i entered my room kinda creepy

The woman at the counter was unfriendly at check in. Even though she confirmed breakfast was served at 6, the breakfast room was locked until 7 am. Once it opened up we found cold coffee and moldy bread by the toaster. The fruit and individually wrapped granola bars were fine. The room smelled moldy but was otherwise clean. On check out no one came to the counter; there was a hand written sign that said leave the key. Hopefully we were accurately checked out at 7:40 am

Much of the hotel was in disrepair. Door was knocked in at some point and door molding held on with screw. Horrible odor covered up by Ozium. Water in sinks was a mist. Shower did not work.

The AC and fridge worked but were noisy. I was afraid to leave any of my luggage in the car.

Housekeeping opened the door after knocking once without giving me time to get dressed. Highly inappropriate. Could not call front desk from room phone. Several things did not work in our room including the air.

The room smelled like cigarette smoke bad, the sink wouldn’t drain. The beds felt like a board. Had people partying in the parking lot and knocking on our door @4 am. Loud music. The manager wouldn’t even speak when she answered the phone. The bedding was torn and holes in it. Will never stay there again.

This place is just ok. It was a cheap room at a cheap price. Works for just a quick overnight stay. However be warned that the "breakfast included" was a joke. It was just coffee and pre wrapped danishes.

I like that the property is close to places to eat & close proximity to my family when I’m there visiting. Only issue I had with this visit is- I told them that I requested no housekeeping while I was there since we were night fishing- & got woken up by housekeeping staff and 2 days in a row by them knocking & opening my door. I let front desk staff know about it right away. Otherwise my overall stay was satisfactory.

Did not offer much on breakfast. But overall nice for the price for an over night stay. May stay on our way back home.

Breakfast less than expected

Front desk tried to put us in a room with 2 double beds when I had reserved and alreasy paid for a king. Carpet is gross, they should take it out. You can feel the yuck with your socks on. Chair smelled like pet urine as much as the room did. Sheets had all kinds of hair on them. Didnt even bother with checking out breakfast. Place is convenient to I-75, gas, shopping, and food. So if you dont mind some dirt and just need a place to crash for the night, this is it. Rooms are priced too high for what you get. This should be a 50-60$ a night place.

I did not feel very safe at this property. There where a lot of individuals hanging around outside in cars and on the property like they were living there or dealing drugs. A lot of road racing going on in the area also.

Ok enough place to stop and stay for the night.

The property was an older motel but was updated on the inside. It was clean. Breakfast was lacking in choices.

The bed was comfortable and the pillows were great . The breakfast was not much of anything . Our non smoking room had a bit of a smoke odor .

Staff was nice and helpful. The building is a bit rundown but it is fairly clean. Beds are comfortable shower it's ok . Could not get the wifi to connect had to go to McDonald’s for wifi service.

The staff was hard to understand and communicate with. And i know its not an upscale hotel but the dirt and grime was awful. Like it hadnt been cleaned in years and the bedding was so bad i refused to sleep on it. I paid for a king bed, too. So, even the pricier rooms were just filthy.

Cleaning got skipped a couple days was there during the recent snow and it was hard to adjust the heat right it would either be hot or cold

Security lock broken,bathroom door top hinge broken,curtains damaged won’t close all the way,mini fridge made so much noise had to unplug,2 tv remotes one without battery cover,bath drain broken had to use soap to hold up plug to shower, out dated furniture with rips. I have pictures

The rug was torn and tack strip exposed at the bathroom door. Bathroom smelled like urine. Continental breakfast was minimal at best. Had to keep requesting for coffee cups in room. Carpet was dirty but at least the bed was clean. Will not stay here again.

I wouldn't know, I talked to one of your agents to get the day moved forward, and the hotel wouldn't switch it, even though I had just booked it, so I was out my money and tonight after my son's concert I'll be sleeping in my car. Not really, but I could see that happening to somebody whose fallen on hard times.

Loud through door

I booked this reservation around 11pm-midnight. The check in says 3pm, however, said to contact the hotel if you would be checking in earlier. I planned to check in around 2am. I called several times, no one answered. Upon arrival, no one was answer the front doors & no one was at the front desk. I called the 1800# they attempted to contact the hotel front desk with no luck. I continued to call as I had pre-paid for this hotel, in order to cancel I would be charged 1 night stay. No luck, called the 1800# back, they attempted 2 more times to contact the hotel front desk. Third time was a charm! They transfered me to the front desk to which the man told me to come to the door then proceeded to yelled at me that check in is at 3pm no earlier!! He then told me they have no rooms clean as they can't get hotel houskeeping to show up. This should have been my sign to request a refund! Slept in the car & got up the next day to check in. The walls inside the room had holes!! It was NASTY! Got up the next day expecting to at least grab an apple or something from the INCLUDED breakfast. NOPE! Was told sorry, no one was there to make breakfast, maybe try again tomorrow. Thankfully there was no tomorrow!! I do NOT recommend this hotel!!! I actually suggest this hotel close it's doors! Worst hotel experience ever!! Sleeping in the car was a better!!

Do NOT go here!! Roaches everywhere and Expedia will be no help with any refund, I’m out 255$ for three nights didn’t spend 10 mins in the room before seeing roaches EVERYWHERE!! Do business elsewhere!!!

Door lock was broken, personal didn’t have parts to fix it, Toilet seat was so loose I almost fell, personal fixed next day.

There was nothing unique about it. The ottoman was ripped and dirty there was burn holes in the chair and this was a non smoking room. Plus an awful lot of cigarette butts out by the door

For the price it was just what we needed. Conveniently located for a variety of services.

It was just ok. Shower head leaked like crazy. Bathroom sink barely drained water. Alarm clock didn’t work but the run was clean.

Terrible smell in the room, cleaning products. Could not tolerate the chemical smell, had to leave and stay at a different hotel. Front desk staff could care less

We booked a king room but were given a room with two Twin XL beds. My husband is 6’7 so we booked a king bed for a reason. We did not sleep very comfortable at all. The rooms also smelled awful of cigarette smoke even though we had non smoking rooms. The management was also very rude when we brought it to their attention.

Book a king bed. Got a room with two fulls. Room reeked of cigarette smoke ( was non smoking room). Went to front desk to get correct room with king bed told they were all booked and in use and that it was was websites fault for booking king bed and not having any website. Handed me a can of Lysol to spray the room because the guy in the room next door smoked and to “just spray everything with Lysol”. Then room smelled like Lysol and smoke. Front desk was not helpful at all.

Just passing through. Poor condition of room. 3 light bulbs missing or broken off from base. Attendant would not replace. We bought our own so that we could have light in room. No hot water and very little water pressure. Never again.

Good day

Our stay was sufficient for two nights. We checked in on Sat. 9/30/2023 checked out on Monday 9/02/2023. We pre-paid for room through Hotel's. Com. I hope that we were not double charged by Super 8 by Wyndham. There seemed to be some confusion when we checked in although we had the e-mail itinerary on our phone from Hotel's. Com and showed that we had paid in full. Which I did present to the clerk. I booked the room in my husband's name and put myself as another guest. Somehow the put it in my name. I don't want to have to worry about this stuff when we travel. Did they double charge us or did they not? We are old and on a fixed income. This is all very stressful. We did have our small dog and did pay extra for her.

Not only was the attendant rude and unwilling to be helpful, but we had a problem with other tenants attempting to grope and rudely confront my fiance. The bathtub was missing a large piece of the bottom but was repaired with duct tape and hidden by a moldy bath mat.

Our room was small, but clean. Breakfast was advertised, but it should be noted, it was very little and the dining area did not have a restroom or sink to wash hands.
