No pets were supposed to be in the rooms yet. There was a large dog on the lower level in the room. Heater/air conditioner unit was very noisy Room was clean and beds were comfortable The breakfast consisted of coffee, juice and prepackaged rice, crispy bars

Poor
- 3/5
Air conditioning did not keep the room cool enough. But, to be fair, my husband is a polar bear. Noisy neighbors …not motel’s fault
- 3.5/5
Parked right outside door, good shower, good location 11am check out Staff were all helpful and pleasant Coffee and crispy biscuit isn't breakfast
- 3/5
Bed in room was not queen size more like full size. Was a non smoking room but had a smoke smell inside. Pool was closed.
- 2.5/5
The bathroom was recently remodeled so it felt more clean. The room seemed clean. The location was great for walking around Old Town Colorado Springs and felt safe. The facility was a bit rundown. The website said that breakfast was included, but breakfast was coffee and rice crispy treats. I don't think that should be advertised as breakfast.
- 5/5
We could see Pikes Peak from our window. It was close to everything we wanted to do. I really do not have anything that I didn't like.
- 5/5
The Young lady at checkin remembered me from previous stays, greeted me by name, and went out of her way to help me book an extra day that I had not reserved.
- 3/5
Room was clean. There is not a lot of parking in the parking lot and it is very tight so if the hotel is full, it is hard to get in and out of there with a pick up or anything other than a small car good location to downtown Colorado Springs.
- 2.5/5
Late check out, shouldn't cost a whole day Small shower, better lighting
- 5/5
Room was very clean, comfy beds but the shower made the stay that much better!
- 1/5
Location was great, close to downtown,on the bus line
- 1.5/5
Was off highway The picture on the Internet doesn't show what it looks like. Cigarette butts on the side walk out our doors. Just needs a little sprouse up.

Room was clean and well maintained. Staff went over and above to get us a room on the ground floor. No breakfast but good coffee! Air conditioning worked fine. Wonderful walk-in shower! Low water pressure but sufficient.

It was okay The front desk was polite in the rooms were clean but my comforter had a burn in it

This motel is in a cool spot in downtown Colorado Springs. The room was clean and it was quiet. There is no breakfast (as advertised) in Hotels.com The coffee was fresh but no breakfast. There is a 50.00 deposit when you check in. Is a ctedit card was used, it may take a couple days to getr back in your account. I suggest using cash which is returned at check out. Angel, the staff, was nice and answered all question regarding decent restaurant, closest Walmart etc.. Overali, I had a good nights sleep and will probably stay there next time in town.
- 3/5
The breakfast is just "coffee and snacks" in the small check-in room. The place was just very run down, staff was cheerful, swimming pool looked like a storage area.
- 4/5
The island receptionist was great friendly would like to take a trip where he's from!
- 3.5/5

- 4/5
The beds were comfortable and the bathrooms upgraded. It is an older hotel which needs more upgrades. However, we loved the room size and upkeep. The breakfast is just a Rice Krispy treat FYI.

The property needs updates as the cold wind blew through the gaps in the door. I heard the tv on all night in an adjoining room.
- 1/5
People fighting and yelling all through the night. I was woken up 5 times before heading to the office and having staff tell me how I should feel. Ghetto, unsafe, questionable.
- 4/5
The room was fairly clean, but hair in the corners and stuck to the duvet was kind of yucky. There was also a musty/moldy smell in the room that was hard to get rid of. But we appreciated the inexpensive rate, close access to Colorado College, free parking, frig and microwave, and hair dryer included.
- 3/5
Our stay at Econolodge was overall pleasant with the exception of the evening clerk who we checked in. I believe her name was Angel. She was not courteous or helpful at all. We asked for extra pillows and towels for our room and she told us we would have to get them from the housekeeping staff in the morning. The next day we asked the morning desk clerk and he provided them for us immediately. The room was in good condition and the price for the hotel was reasonable, but based on our unpleasant experience with the clerk who checked us in I am not sure we would stay there again.
- 5/5
Clean room, friendly staff, comfy bed
- 5/5
Yes everything was awesome!
- 5/5
Big room and clean. Great value. 15 min walk to downtown Colorado Springs. Staff was very nice.
- 4/5
Clean room and comfortable bed. All I needed for a one night place to sleep.
- 5/5
Was efficient and clean place. Very good location to visit Colorado college.
- 4/5
Room was clean and Front desk staff friendly
- 3/5
Accommodations were basic but satisfactory. The outside area around the property was a bit shabby, but did not feel unsafe.
- 3/5
Room wasn’t very clean. The place vas fairly run down. When I made the reservation it said there was breakfast, there wasn’t. Only snacks
- 5/5
My room was clean. The lady who checked me in after my flight was delayed several hours was very nice and professional. The property was quiet at night. I did not see any of the problems mentioned in other reviews. The property is basic with no frills and inexpensive.
- 4/5
Good
- 4/5
Bare minimum type of hotel. Nothing out of the ordinary to make it feel unsafe. Within a few blocks of excellent dining areas.
- 5/5
Front desk lady was amazing with communication and correcting the reservation.
- 4/5
This is an older property however it is as clean as even Holiday Inn Express which I recently stayed at in Colorado Springs. More attention to detail such as the broken unusable phone jack and the coffee spills on the inside of the door, or marks on the walls. However this is common in almost all motels that I have stayed in recently. We will be returning to this motel as its proximity to UCHealth Memorial Hospital is perfect to obtain treatments for my husbands cancer.
- 5/5
The rooms were clean staff was friendly not much of a breakfast and parking wasn't safe
- 4/5
Great room
- 5/5
Great hospitalty
- 4/5
I'm a single Traveler, and I just felt sketchy about. There are holes in the walls can the security lock on the door did not lock.
- 3/5
They refused to rent it to me
- 2/5
The photos on Expedia are not realistic. It isn’t a bad area but hotel was rundown looking. No fridge in our room. Staff were very accommodating as we needed to change rooms as we needed crutches during the trip. They moved us no problem.
- 4/5
Property exterior is old and worn down. Lots of cigarette butts laying around. I was unsure about how my stay would be, but it actually wasn't bad. The room was clean. The bathroom was small but was mostly remodeled and nice. No tub just a stand up shower. The beds were very comfortable and the air conditioner worked good. The room was small and the furniture was outdated. The pool was very small and we didn't use it, but saw some children in it. The lobby/ breakfast area was a room about 8' x 10' didn't check out the breakfast but feel it was basically nothing. All and all, since we basically only used the room for sleeping, unwinding before bed and showering in the morning, the room worked out ok for us.
- 5/5
Good value great personal
- 2/5
I am not one to leave reviews, however I would not stay here ever again. The “non smoking” room smelled of smoke and the motel definitely needed renovations! The furniture was all scratch and dented. The floor was dirty, may have been swept, but definitely not mopped in a long while. However the bathroom did look recently updated. I would not walk to my car alone. The smell of weed was everywhere and I did not feel very safe staying here. We only stayed 1 night and it was 1 night too many.
- 1/5
They have a good photographer. This place was ROUGH. When we arrived, we were informed that we would see furniture outside near one unit because a guest threw it all out of the room that day, but the police took care of the issue. Not exactly what we expected.
- 1/5
I read reviews and looked at photos and they are definitely great at finding the right angle. Pool was tiny and gross. All the paint around the pool is chipping away. The stairs, walkway, pool, vending/ice area, rooms, were all dirty, run down and disgusting. Linens were stained and dirty. The shower, mirror and sink were super nice but that’s about it. Also super sketchy area with homeless walking around and sleeping in cars in the parking lot.
- 5/5
The staff was wonderful The pool needed maintanence pump wasnt working kids still enjoyed I would go back it fit the budget
- 5/5
Na
- 1/5
We got there and it was so stinky and dirty. The walls were so grimy and there was mold in the bathroom. We were also told that breakfast was included but the front desk lady said "coffee, juice, and SNACKS." It was so bad that I checked out almost immediately after checking in and found a better place to stay. Not family friendly AT ALL.
- 5/5
The front desk was super nice and provided all the information I needed for my stay.
- 3/5
It was a place to sleep with clean sheets. There were visible old stains on the walls. Location by downtown Colorado Springs is convenient. Just doesnt sewm like they have kept up with the building maintenence.
- 1/5
The property was run down and in no way did it match the rating on Expedia. When I arrived there was a police car and a tow truck blocking the entrance to the hotel. I tried contacting customer service twice to rebook another location but the call was dropped both times with no return call from Expedia. I definitely would not reccommend this property or using Expedia for booking.
- 3/5
I like that the room was clean. I didn’t like the hotel itself. It was old needs remodeling. Pool was not working and there is NO breakfast like it is mentioned on hotel descriptions. They only offer coffee, juice, and a couple of snacks.
- 5/5
So convenient, free parking and one block away from CC campus
- 4/5
The afternoon and morning staff were very helpful and easy going
- 2/5
Place was gross
- 5/5
The swingshift manager was extremely helpful and went over and beyond duties to her for me
- 1/5
We didn’t stay because we read google reviews of this motel having several different types of bugs
- 2/5
The parking lot is small. Was charged a deposit after already paying for the room. Was not informed about the deposit from expedia.
- 1/5
Rude staff
- 4/5
The room was sufficient, loved the shower
- 5/5
Affordable motel walking distance to downtown Colorado Springs. Great option for a short-term stay for those on a budget. I've stayed here many times over the past 10 years without any issues.
- 4/5
our tv did not work, they did try did try to fix it, the heater was not working right, we were there three nights by the third night it finally was warm. the staff were very helpful and very nice
- 5/5
Check in was quick. Customer service was great
- 3/5
Close to UC Memorial Hospital
- 5/5
Seemed fine
- 4/5
beds are super comfy get the king size fs
- 3/5
Room was bit dated lights shone in from signs all night. 10 min walk to bars and restaurants. Staff member Spanish girl talking on phone to friend in morning did not pause to welcome us. Very basic breakfast of granola bar or small muffin. Dirty staircase to top floor.
- 5/5
Everything was nice; the personnel were all most courteous and efficient. The room was very clean
- 5/5
Decent hotel room, for a night or two. Breakfast was only some snacks. Walking distance from downtown though.
- 1/5
I didn’t end up staying because they had a computer outage with reservations. I found another hotel and they canceled my reservation
- 4/5
Was in a great part of town; close enough to everything but just far enough away to get away
- 5/5
Room was great
- 5/5
The front office staff were very friendly. A great deal for a simple room in a quiet but accessible part of Colorado Springs
- 4/5
I got exactly what I paid for, which wasn’t a lot since it’s the econo lodge. Only thing I’d highlight was calling what was served in the morning “breakfast” was a bit of a stretch. Staff were friendly and helpful.
- 1/5
Room carpet smelled and had insects crawling on bed.
- 2/5
Im concerned because she said the fire Alarms didn't go off!!!! It's an old hotel, I'm questioning if it's up to code? Other than this, her room was nice, it's in a nice neighborhood and right on campus, so that was veey helpful. But definitely need to be sure fire alarms and suppression systems are in place!
- 5/5
Very peaceful
- 4/5
Bed was comfortable, water was hot, AC was cold. Room was a little on the shabby side, but that had no effect on my stay.
- 1/5
Doors looked like they had been kicked in. Locks were old. Repairs on rooms not finished. Mold in shower. Had non smoking room and a smoking room was only a couple doors away. Things weren’t wiped down very well.
- 4/5
We enjoyed our stay for what it was. We simply needed a place to sleep and shower while visiting our daughter in the hospital. The room was clean, bed was comfortable, and shower was great.
- 1/5
Nothing was clean, room had cracks in it, hairs in sheets and towels, electronics were barely working through a busted power strip. They require a deposit not disclosed in the reservation, which feels sketchy because they run your card on a separate system from the card reader.
- 2/5
The front desk guy was awesome at night but the girl that works in the morning is absolutely rude ASF, she refused to let us extend our stay because we had a " dog"..we have no dog..my child is allergic to dogs.
- 1/5
If you want people knocking on your doors in the middle of night. If you want to be exposed to drug deals all around you. This place if for you. Otherwise stay away. Worse night of sleep I have had all year at this hotel.
- 5/5
Right close to where we needed to be, friendly staff.
- 4/5
Although the exterior of the building was fairly weathered and run-down, the interor of my room was very clean and tidy. The sheets are incredibly soft! Lots of pillows. Very comfortable room.
- 4/5
Not alot of people use the pool we had it all for ourselves
- 1/5
The female front desk staff, like to curse and the customers and block them for calling and asking them about their return deposit.
- 3/5
Previous attendants. The maintenance was horrible. Huge patches of caulking in the shower
- 4/5
Room was clean, bed comfortable, the only bad thing was the breakfast they had only snack granola bars, coffee and juice
- 5/5
Bathrooms were newly redone. Beds very comfortable and clean.
- 3/5
For a cheap motel it was ok. The pool was the best part. Really enjoyed that. Breakfast food consists of mini-muffins, Rice Crispy treats and coffee/juice. The room had an overwhelming smell of cleaning chemicals when you walk in. On our 2nd day, one of the housekeepers broke an expensive glass bottle of wrinkle cream. The top was missing (had been thrown away) and glass was inside the bottle. Had to throw it away. When I spoke to front desk about this, they called the housekeeper and she denied she was in the bathroom. She clearly was because there were fresh towels and it had been cleaned. Very disappointing.
- 4/5
Room was fine, bathroom had been updated. 2 dead bugs on the bathroom floor when we arrived. Not enough parking available.
- 5/5
Nice property ! Very clean and the are around it it’s pretty nice too ! The front desk people were very nice and polite and helpful. 10 out of 10
- 4/5
Room was nice
- 4/5
Great price for a motel. The room they gave us was fully remodeled. The beds were clean and super comfortable. The staff were friendly and I highly recommend the place. They had coffee, juice and snack for breakfast and they had coffee and fridge and microwave in the room. The area was quiet and we enjoyed our stay.
- 3/5
Room was very clean. Front desk person was very nice. Breakfast was a joke. Only granola bar and juice. Door of our room has a big gap.
- 1/5
We canceled this location after staying for one night. We only stayed because we got in so late (almost 11 pm), otherwise we would have found a different hotel. Despite the Expedia listing saying “non smoking” we were given a smoking room. The location and facility was dirty, rough, and the motel room door had clearly been kicked in at some point. There was hair in the bathroom and in the towels, and overall the room was just not very clean. We canceled with the econolodge and stayed at a La Quinta instead. When I booked the econolodge, I signed away my right to a refund thinking it would be okay as we have stayed in econolodges and travelodges in the past with little to no issues. Despite losing the almost $200, we still felt the need to cancel. The staff members were extremely friendly, kind, and helpful. The place was just not what we expected.
- 4/5
We enjoyed our stay room was clean staff wasn't that friendly and room was no smoking but smelt like weed we had to run bathroom vent all the time to help with the smell.
- 1/5
The air conditioners do not work in multiple units. So if you’re going in the summer be prepared to be hot in your room. If it wasn’t for the air conditioners working, we probably would’ve had a decent visit.
- 5/5
Comfortable room at good price. Maid service excellent and attentive.
- 4/5
Everything was excellent. No complaints. Front desk personnel were helpful and friendly.
- 5/5
Very quiet and friendly
- 5/5
It was just accommodating that is wonderful
- 5/5
Nice
- 5/5
Great place to stay!
- 3/5
Clean and fresh . Older building . Parking is small for number of rooms .
- 1/5
The room was creepy! I know they had done an update on the bathroom. The shower was the best part of the whole room. There was paint still all over the countertops, the floor and the room always smelt like marijuana. Every time you would turn on the exhaust fan it would get stronger the heater vents in the room Were not attached. The refrigerator was not cold at all.
- 1/5
I have a nonsmoking room but my room smells like cigarettes and the smell is super strong.
- 5/5
It was good, friendly service
- 3/5
Comfortable bed. Room raked of smoke and was a non smoking room. I seemed like smoke smell was coming from bathroom fan. When I first showed up I turned it on hoping it would help but after a couple hours when I got back it was worse. Helped to keep the door shut. Bed was comfortable with good sheets and pillows. Needs new door threshold- a small gap under door and part of it was broken. When I arrived there was small leaves that had blown in on the floor. A rag was in the sink…maybe trying to cover up smoke smell from plumbing pipe? Cool mirror in bathroom but never got to really enjoy it because it was connected to fan and that caused more smoke smell. Bathroom finish was nice.
- 4/5
They also required my credit card for a $50 fully refundable deposit for necessities which I don't know what are and do not know yet if I was charged more.
- 4/5
Recently, the bathrooms were renovated. It’s nice that there is more water pressure in the showers, but there is no place to put soap. There are no hooks to hang a towel or clothes and these small things make a big difference when it comes to comfort. Wired soap dish in the shower and a hook on the back of the door is really not too much to ask. Otherwise, great place.
- 4/5
It was a good place and affordable
- 5/5
🤘
- 4/5
Hotel under reconstruction so not the best but the staff was friendly and the price was right. Should be nicer once reconstuis done.
- 4/5
For divorced reason affordability out of state, travel and stay to see my child couple times a month. I will concern this frequency for visit every month. This room sure cleanliness convinced me come back more stay for visit my child.
- 4/5
Quiet and friendly staff
- 5/5
Very nice stay for 3 days!
- 4/5
It was okay for a few days. The exterior was not the best but I was satisfied as a solo traveler.
- 4/5
Front desk was very helpful and courteous
- 1/5
I rented my husband a room for the night and everything was fine until he went to check out the next morning. One of the managers blamed him for trying to steal towels when they were sitting right on the floor. Then another employee got in his face and was trying to steal the deposit for the towels that were in the room the whole time. They completely lied, tried to steal his deposit and told him never to come back again after he did nothing. I would never recommend this place to anyone
- 5/5
No issues and friendly helpful customer service.
- 4/5
Quiet, convenient , and cozy. Give the water a min to warm up and it’s hot!
- 4/5
Staff was night! Room was clean and nice! Easy parking very quiet and I liked the way the rooms are! Thank you for a good night! I will return for another stay stay. If needed!
- 5/5
Great people, especially Angel. Good bed. Warm clean room. Only complaint is low pressure in the shower. Otherwise great simply place.
- 5/5
I really like this place. I stay here regularly for work trips. The facility is nothing fancy but I don’t need anything fancy. I need a clean and friendly place with a comfortable bed and that’s what this is. The staff is exceptionally nice. Especially the woman named Angel Who works afternoons and evenings. A very pleasant person who I’ve come to enjoy very much. If I have any complaints at all, it’s the weakness of the water pressure in the shower. The showers are nice and warm but the water does not come out with any force. Otherwise this is a great place.
- 3/5
We decided to take a gamble as it is right by CC. So convenient to the college and downtown. But it could use an upgrade. You can hear everything and smell cigarette smoke in the room. Door looks like someone has tried to break-in the past. Despite its flaws, overall, it wasn't a bad stay.
