Toilets wouldn’t flush. No conditioner, hair dryer or trash can im the room. Elevator was terribly slow. No hot tub. Room was pretty clean & comfortable though.

The staff was friendly. The room was clean. However, there was an outlet in my room that had fallen out of the wall. I told the front desk, she said she'd get back to me the next day. They never fixed it. I was in this room for 7 days. It was never fixed. She said they would move me if it wasn't a quick fix. They didnt move me. Luckily my child is old enough that they weren't going to play with it. The toilet paper holder was falling out of the wall as well. The tv was basic cable, no option to even sign into my own netflix or anything. The pool was about 6-8 inches too low when we went down to it. The water was too low to reach the filter which was making an awful noise because there was no water in it! And i told the front desk, the pool wasnt allowing us in for a few days after that, idk if it was locked for maintenance or what. I have no clue if it was fixed after this. We used my friends pool at her apartment after this. I asked for maid service on our third or fourth day on our way out, and they handed me towels and a large garbage bag. As if i work there. So we had to go back up to our room to drop that off. The hot tub looked as though it was filled in. It was covered with a wooden deck looking thing. So no hottub. The parking lot was not in good repair. Trash everywhere.

Plumbing was not secured, the over all care of the motel was substandard and in need of maintenance. The only good thing was the bed was comfortable.

Pros: Clean rooms and helpful staff (although the company could invest in teaching Spanish speaking staff key words and phrases in English, and English speaking staff the same for key Spanish words and phrases -- We asked for extra blankets and received 5 pillowcases.) Cons: Maintenance was the biggest issue (broken ice maker on one floor, no washer dryer on another, dinged up doors and walls, cracked lampshade, missing TP roller etc). No hair dryers, and soap and shampoo were in fixed containers that are refilled when empty, not when a new guest arrives. This is fairly typical for hotels of this price, and none of it was terrible. Breakfast was scrambled eggs, sausage and potatoes, cereal and yogurt. No fresh fruit. Juice and the milk for cereal were extremely watered down. A couple of standard waffle makers were available. If I had paid over $100 per night I would have been disappointed. But it was a good deal and comfortable for what I paid.

This hotel is awful, large population of homeless people living there.There was trash everywhere.The worst part of our stay was we were in our room in the evening and another patron opened the door, the front desk gave her a key to our room, which was weird because we didn't check out and the room had not been cleaned.

Just in disrepair, especially in the room. Peeling ceiling paint, damaged trim, rust around shower light, hallways needed vacuuming. Just poor maintenance overall.

When I arrived it was filthy - the floors looked like they hadn’t been vacuumed in weeks, there was garbage laying in the halls, the hallway garbages were so full and were overflowing onto the ground, the chairs in the dining room were also very worn and I didn’t feel comfortable sitting in them. The housekeeping staff were eating breakfast and taking break during the morning breakfast time - am glad they’re taking a break, but it didn’t look professional. The windows in the main entrance/dining room are very fogged up, possibly to failed window seals, they’re all like that. My room was also very dirty and everything was very worn. The chair in my room was filthy and stained, we couldn’t even sit in it, there were stains on the heavy blankets, the lamp shades, the walls - it is not a well maintained property, seemed like there was glue on the top of a lot of the desks in the room, everything is old and very worn. The tiles and doors are very worn. The sign in the front of the property used markers to fill in some of the letters…… The Super 8 Motel that shares the parking lot has homeless people sleeping in cars and I saw them coming over to La Quinta for the breakfast, it’s not monitored. I have never written a review before - but the pictures are so misleading. The breakfast did have quite a bit of food, so it was nice to have that - but the milk is in coffee canisters in a fridge and some of the equipment is broken. This is not up to La Quinta standards.

Blankets had obvious burn holes. Trash can outside was over full and no dog poop bags. Dog poop was everywhere! Breakfast in the morning was awful! They ran out of waffle mix, so I asked the front desk and she said she would have it refilled. Waited a bit and the attendant came over and said no more it's closed, even though we were waiting for it to be refilled. She opened my daughter's (she is 10) waffle saw it was going and turned it off right in front of her. When I said something she said, "no more it is closed talk to the manger." She wouldn't even let my daughter finish cooking her food! Worst service/attitude I have ever seen while staying at a hotel from an employee!!

I was under the impression that Expedia was able to get the best price but that is not the case. I checked in one day earlier and they gave me a day rate of $76.04 The question being why I was charged $93.95 / day. It seems I could have done better booking the reservation thru them myself. I have both receipts and am wondering why I was charged a higher rate, I thought Expedia was the best price. Apparently not so. Thanks Bruce Ostrowski.

The building is poorly maintained for a La Quinta. As a Facilities Manager I can tell that their maintenance staff or outside vendors are doing a poor job.

The staff was very sweet and helpful! I just would not recommend this hotel. The room reeked of smoke and the door did not latch properly upon closing. And the back exterior door was boarded up.

Do not go for the breakfast. Rubbery eggs, undercooked potatoes... The condiments, coffee and cream and sugar needed replacing were empty/needed replacing and the kitchen host didn't bother checking. A lot of socializing being done by staff, leaning on counters and chatting rather than being guest forward.

The staff were having extremely an unprofessional conversation as I was checking in. There was a very unpleasant odor throughout different areas of the building. The room was sufficient, but did not have basic items in place and there was rust in the shower

This hotel is in desperate need of some tlc! Shower nozzle broken, tv difficulties, peeling ‘popcorn’ ceiling above sleeping area, sticky carpet, washer/dryer out of order, blah & repetitive breakfast with no fruit. Staff attempted to help but fell short. Upgraded us to a ‘suite’ that was cleaner but still a sad attempt at an upgrade. Would not recommend this hotel until it undergoes a full renovation.

The room was clean and nice, but it did need a little maintenance done on the ceiling. The hotel had a nice exercise room, but there were no towels, sanitizing wipes, or water available. There was a good, hot breakfast.

It's a little hard to get to from I-25 because when you turn onto Voyager Parkway at the light, you have to drive all the way up the hill and make a u-turn. Check-in was fast and easy, lady at the front desk was polite and welcoming and explained where to park to be closest to my room. Room was spotless, bed was comfy, water was hot with good pressure. Several rooms along the hall had left their dogs unattended and they were barking incessantly but all of the owners returned by 10pm and everybody quieted down. Pool was closed, sign said for maintenance. Breakfast was a selection of hot foods (eggs, sausage links, potatoes, waffle makers) and grab n'go yogurt and muffins. Great stay for the price.

Way better than expected, simple fast friendly check in. Clean updated room, slept well. Big tv, micro fridge desk. I had the single bed, terrific. Breakfast was wayyyy great. Eggs, sausage, potatoes, cheese, plus normal waffles, muffins. Juice coffee, staff kept food full and cleaned tables. Extra special view looking at Pikes Peak while eating.

I was surprised they offered breakfast for the rate we paid. We did. Or get down there, but enjoyed our stay.

The hot tub was non-functioning and the pool area was freezing and a mess. Towels everywhere. The women mopping the floors was pleasant and helpful.

Did not use tub parking was great right by the lobby don't know if you offer a veterans discount if you do it was not in the app.

The staff were amazing the lady in the front desk overnight shift was so friendly and helpful!!! Night shifts can be a lot so THANK YOU for being friendly and amazing. Room was amazing the housekeepers did leave 1 dirty towel but it was behind the door so it could’ve been an honest mistake other than that everything and everyone was great. Definitely recommend this hotel and I will definitely be staying here again when I come back in the future :)

If your looking for a quiet place to sleep I would not recommend staying here! You can hear EVERYTHING and everyone who comes and goes in the halls, slamming doors, screaming kids, barking dogs. Its clean enough, but I definitely didn't leave feeling refreshed or happy about staying there.

Before I even reached my room, I was approached by multiple men inside the hotel, which added to the discomfort. The overall environment did not feel clean, secure, or welcoming. On top of that, the bathroom didn’t even have a trash bin. So if you’re a woman traveling during your period, good luck managing basic hygiene. It’s unacceptable for a hotel to overlook something so essential. When I went to the front desk, the staff acknowledged the issues and offered me a refund, but told me I needed to go through my third‑party booking (Expedia). When Expedia contacted them to process the refund, the hotel declined the same refund they had just offered me. This is now being escalated because the conditions were unsafe, unsanitary, and not what was advertised. I stayed only one night because it was already past midnight and I had no choice, but I checked out early the next morning. I would not recommend this location to anyone, especially solo travelers.

Room was quiet but dated and in need of repair; paint is peeling off walls and ceiling in the bathroom. Reported a lightbulb off over the bathroom vanity the first day of our four day stay. It was never replaced. Front desk staff was friendly and tried to be helpful.

Breakfast options were satisfactory but offered limited choices. The reception staff were friendly and consistently courteous. The hotel's location was convenient, with proximity to popular tourist attractions, shopping centers, and gas stations. The only drawback was the lack of housekeeping services, possibly due to the holiday period.

I didn't actually stay there,we looked at the room and it smelled bad,location felt unsafe, i had booked online, but was early enough to cancel the reservation, i personally wouldn't stay there,it gave me an unsafe feeling.

I used to stay at the La Quinta a lot several years ago and this hotel was very nice. This time around the room had a lot of wear and tear. The furniture was pretty dinged up and the door frames had chipped paint and needed to be repainted. Wallpaper had bubbled up and needed to be redone. The finish was coming off the bathroom door. It looks like some one locked their dog in the bathroom and they scratched the finish off the lower part of the door. There is no maid service unless you request it. The staff was friendly and helpful. I was so disappointed in the condition of the room.

Just showed lack of attention and upkeep. There were a lot more things but this was general observations. Check-in staff was not a friendly person. Checking out was 2 people who would rather talk to each other than thank the guest for choosing La Quinta or just ask general questions like any customer based business would.

This location had a comfortable bed, was clean, offered a very nice sized fridge, and the breakfast options were tasty. The room and building had multiple places in need of minor repair. The baseboards were missing or the wall was dented in. Nothing that took away from cleanliness or comfort. These were minor eyesores. The police racing through the hotel with tasers drawn at 6:30 morning was quite jarring. The police presence was still there at 8:30 when we left for the day. There is a significant homeless population near the hotel. To be fair, this is true for much of Colorado Springs. I might stay here again but I would make sure I was being safe if traveling alone. This property was less expensive than most others online.

I have been coming to this particular hotel because of the way staff takes care of their visitors. They are personable and professional. I appreciate it.

I purchased a room that states online that it slept 5 people. They gave me a room with 2 full size beds and tried to convenience me that we were supposed to sleep 3 to a bed. That is rediculous! They did not have a room that slept 5 people and knew that this was advertised as such. The manager did not provide a solution. Aside from that issue, the room had broken doors that looked as if someone punched them. It had a weird substance running down the walls that looked like someone slimed the room. I would not recommend this place.

The location was ideal for us. Easy access to highway 25 and within walking distance to Cracker Barrel. 6 blocks to a beautiful Mexican restaurant. Very quiet.

All of the staff at this hotel were great! The only issues that we had was we had dirty/stained sheets upon check-in, a lot of the furniture/doors were scraped up and we weren’t given any toilet paper in our room. Overall, this hotel worked just fine for one night.

The check in staff was friendly, the bed comfortable, there was no bath soap/handsoap, no bathroom exhaust fan so after a shower the tiles were slippery, mold in the left corner of the tub.

Very run down first room I was put in was so dirty I had to switch rooms. Bloody urine stained mattress and frame,desk looked like it had been chewed on carpet very dirty. 2 nd room was ok. Continental breakfast staff very rude working because they have to. Front desk is friendly.

Breakfast was the same everyday, runny powdered eggs, sausage, waffels, yogurt, muffins, toast. Room was fine, needs a little tlc but comfortable, goid temperature and very clean.

This motel is only about 9 years old and already shows signs of poor management . We checked in on the 24 of July and discovered after dinner that there was no hot water in the room . After a lot of drama we were moved to another unit that manager assured us had hot water . More drama , but no hot water until the following day. As if that wasn’t enough, the television didn’t work either. They installed a tv from another room around 10:30 the next day I talked about wanting some compensation and they said they would, however I had to go downstairs on our last day and ask again. The amount was rather disappointing.I probably won’t stay at this motel again unless I absolutely have to .

In the bathroom they did not have an exhaust fan so any metal was rusted and it looked like there was a prior flood because the doors were starting to warp on the bottom.

Stayed for 4 days and staff was always helpful and polite, clean room, comfy beds and so quiet. We also left an item when we checked out and the front desk was very helpful finding and boxing it up so it could be picked up and shipped. The front desk staff went above and beyond 5 stars!!!

Check-in was great super easy dude at the front was very nice! The room was pretty small even for two beds. Tight entry hall. The room was musty. The breakfast buffet very slim to no options. When I go back to Colorado Springs, I will definitely be looking at other hotels.

The worst LaQuinta I have ever stayed at. Very run down. Many items stained or missing in the room. Sink faucet leaking causing puddle in the bathroom. Hot tub is closed. Pool is grungy. I have pictures if anyone is interested.

Hotel has a great location but is a bit disappointing. Breakfast was mediocre and not well attended by staff. Room while comfortable was noisy. The facilities appear to be showing age.

The hotel is very old & is in desperate need of a facelift. Paint coming off the walls, dark rooms & cleanliness doesn’t seem to be a priority. There is a breakfast but we didn’t use it. The shower head fell off & the fridge didn’t work. We won’t be staying there again.

I want a refund for this room! Not only did it look like someone was murdered on the wall. We had burn holes all over in our sheets. Wall patches all over, we killed about 6 spiders. This room was disgusting! Every time we flushed the toilet there was like black sand or rocks or something floating. I have pictures of everything! The pool was closed! The breakfast room was messy and stunk. When I asked the worker for a rag to wipe down a table for my family to sit at, you would have thought I asked her for a kidney! I would rate this experience a 0/10! I cannot believe La Quinta would even offer a room that looked the way ours did!

Rooms were very dated. The breakfast did not compare to the surrounding hotels. The sound from everything around will keep you up at night. Doors were slamming all night long and it sounded like someone tried to open our room door multiple times. We ended up leaving a day early to move to a better hotel. I would not recommend staying at this location. The savings are not worth it.

They booked me as a no show even though I was checked in and had a key and then locked me out with all my belongings in the room. I could go on but it’s not worth it.

The property looked fine from the outside but it was dirty and unsafe inside. The ceiling paint was peeling, the floor was dirty, there was blood stains on the wall in the bathroom. Would not recommend. Was very expensive for the terrible condition.
