Where to begin. We just returned from a six night stay. The area itself is a good area, but the property is very rundown and sketchy. Check in was smooth and friendly. There was a surprise $50 deposit I was not aware of. Once I finished unpacking, I noticed there was no shower curtain. I went to the front desk to request one. I was told by the desk staff that they didn't have anymore, but not to worry as it wouldn't affect my deposit. I explained again, that a shower curtin was necessary for three people on a six night stay. She told me she couldn't go take one from another room because they were full. They definitely were NOT full! She then offered to switch our room after telling me they were full. When I brought that to her attention, she then told me they would go to Walmart. Breakfast. The eggs were clearly leftovers from the day before. The coffee was old and not hot, if there was any. They only provided waxed juice cups for the coffee. Yesterday, the refrigerated creamer sat out ALL DAY! We found dirty underwear behind a table in our room. The bed is pushed completely against the AC, so crawling into and out of the bed was necessary. The water at one point had been turned off. The pool is closed for maintenance, but it's not being worked on. The room outlets are tied to the light switches, so when you turn the lights off, technology stops charging. There were no outlets near the bed. There are clearly people living here. Barking dogs left alone in the rooms. Never agai

Staff at the front desk were friendly and helpful; the men on weekday duty and one woman on overnight front desk duty were kind and helpful. The lobby was nice. However, positives ended once we got in the elevator to our room. The elevator floor was in need of repair (flooring was duct-taped down). While our room on the top floor seemed pest-free and towels and bedding appeared clean, the room was otherwise in poor repair and didn't have much other than soap, shampoo, and toilet paper. One bed was broken and separating from the headboard. Other furnishings needed replacing/cleaning. Walls, carpeting, and curtains were damaged or badly worn. Wi-Fi service (which we needed) either didn't work or was spotty at best. We were glad the room's AC worked; it was a very warm weekend when we stayed there. The property's pool was closed for repair and there was only one small ice machine on the 1st floor (a big inconvenience). Daily breakfast service was acceptable, but food selections were very limited; you need to bring your own if you have dietary issues. The most annoying thing was that while we paid for our entire stay the first night, we had to keep getting our keys reprogrammed to access our room every day (we stayed for 3 nights). If you need a super-cheap hotel to stay at in this area, it's okay, but go someplace else if you want more.

The overall condition of the hotel was completely misrepresented compared to what is advertised online. The pool—listed as an amenity—was not functional and appeared neglected and unusable. We had booked two rooms for our family, including children and parents, and the conditions in both rooms were deeply concerning: Strong weed odor throughout the rooms Dirty, foul-smelling carpets and overall unclean environment Unclean beds with evidence of bed bugs, which is a serious health and hygiene issue Additionally, the included breakfast was poorly managed. Most items were already finished, and there were no fruits or basic options available, which again does not match what was advertised. To make matters worse, when I raised these concerns and requested an incident report to formally document the issue, I was informed that no such system exists. This lack of accountability is extremely unprofessional and unacceptable. This experience reflects not just poor service but a complete failure to meet basic hospitality and safety standards. Given the severity of these issues—including hygiene concerns, misrepresentation, and lack of proper escalation process—I am requesting a full refund for this stay.

The facility was run down and not updated at all. Almost all the furniture was stained and written on. You can tell that they are just keeping the place from falling apart but not really trying to keep it nice. The pool shouldn't be advertised as it's permanently closed. The staff were great. Very sweet and helpful. The area was close to everything but a little sketchy. Overall it's fine if you're in a bind but it's nothing great.

There was a smell in the room that was attempted to be covered up by another smell. We opened a window, but there was no screen. We were in the 3rd floor. After a couple of hours in the room the fresh air made the smell less strong! We were in room 306. The water in the sink wouldn’t turn off. It had a continual stream of hot water! The stopper in the sink didn’t have a lever to move it up or down so we had to take the stopper off to drain water. The toilet paper holder was missing one side, so the toilet paper was just placed on the tank! We went to make a call to the front desk to report these things, but the phone was completely dead! My husband sat in the swivel chair to put on his shoes and the seat had a jelly like something on it and he got his pants dirty. The bath towels are small and thin. The staff was very kind upon checking in. I was using a walker and when I walked in the lady at the front desk walked me to my room. I needed to fill my water bottle before we left and a gentleman who was cleaning the dining area offered to fill it for me! At checkout, we calmly explained the issues to a woman at the counter. She assured us that she would look into our complaints. We’ve stayed at other Baymont hotels in NM and Arizona and those were of much higher quality.

The room wasn’t cleaned properly. There was a big glob of what looked liked grease and food crumbs on the table and underneath it right when you walked in the door. Which is probably why they have cockroaches, I saw one in the bathroom. TV had no sound and picture was messed up but after a couple hours someone came up and wiggled some wires and fixed it. Probably wouldn’t stay here again unless in a pinch.

The bed was firm, but comfortable. The carpet was wet, either from a leak in the plumbing or from being shampooed but not dried. The noise from barking dogs was annoying while the owners were out for dinner, but settled down when they came back. The room had a funky sour smell to it, possibly from the wet carpet. My standards are reasonably low, but this wasn't a stay I would like to repeat.

Check in was simple and quick. A full rundown of the amenities was explained. We were charged a deposit and a pet fee in addition to the nightly rates. The pool is closed and doesn’t seem to be actively being worked on or opening anytime soon. There is only one ice machine for the entire hotel, on the first floor. There are snacks available for purchase in the lobby, and a continental breakfast in the morning. Our room was somewhat clean and a crew toiletries were given. There was some weird substance at the top of the curtains and ceiling, and the bathtub had some floaties after being filled. There were some loud neighbors but not bad enough that we felt disturbed. We felt we got what we paid for.

The number they had on the desk to call to check in just rang to the front desk. They didnt even check my ID, just concerned about payment. Room was dark, dingy, and crammed. The pool being out of service was the final straw that left us going to another hotel 15 mins after we checked in(the pool pictures were a large part of why we took a chance on this hotel). Was hoping to find a hidden gem but its definitely not here. Felt very unsafe, especially travelling with kids.

Very run down hotel rooms are very gross old floors fake wood floors coming apart. Lots of drug addicts all around you this morning as I was checking out there was a lady sleeping in her car folded over with a lighter and foil in her lap with drugs on it and that was a housekeeper. Also the morning they serve the same breakfast every day any leftovers are re heated the next day health code violation. Also the the GM Michael Porter has a great story about being a award for hotel manager of the year. Well he's pretty fake as well he charges his Tesla parking over the public side walk and brags about how he got 3 cars given to him. Treats guest and his staff as if they are below him and he is better then everyone else. Likes to degrade guest and staff and ask me for documents for my service animals and yelling at me. also kept running my card over over again at different times of the night. He violated my hipa rights by asking mental and medical problems I have. He walks around this hotel like it's the best motel when its worst then an hourly rated hotel. Also he tried to double charge me for the next night for amounts and then book another night outrages price. Also when I checked in the first day he put his hand up and hushed me to not talk when I was trying to tell him not to run the deposit on that card please place on another card. Doesn't listen and self absorbed also the pool is gross. the staff rude Michael Porter is nice when he is high on drugs not sober stay away

Our room had holes in the carpet, a flickering bathroom light that was very annoying to deal with, a shower head that made an awful squeaking sound when water passed through, the window leaked from the top when it rained a couple of times, and there were dead bugs in the light bulb cover in the bathroom. Our free breakfast that we looked forward to was very disappointing with the warm foods only consisting of crockpot biscuits and gravy and boiled eggs that smelled terribly. It seemed like the eggs weren't fresh at all and were reused each morning. We at least expected sausage, bacon, scrambled (fresh) eggs, and options for toast. Even the fresh fruit, which I tried, had quite a bit of bruising on them. We wanted to enjoy a swim in the pool but found it just as gross as our room. We thought it was the lighting, but the water was green and dirty. The worst part of our stay: my husband and I, when returning to our room for the night, always began feeling sick. After leaving, we would feel better. Both of us felt nauseous, intense headaches, and lack of appetite. We discovered mold in our A/C unit and desided to check out early for our safety. I was very disappointed in our stay, unlike my past stay with this hotel. Due to the experiences we had, my husband or I won't be returning to this hotel any time in the future.

One smelled like feet and was halfway through a remodel or damaged- no baseboard, half finished flooring, lifted the comforter to find hairs that weren't ours when we first got there, missing shower head. The third room smelled a little bit like cigarette smoke and musty laundry, had crusty sheets under the comfortable, cigarette burns the the comforter, 1/3 of a shower curtain. Overall just very low quality. Awful drywall patches, dirty carpets even in hallways, they just dont care.

$25 for early check in.Pool and hot tub were closed. That would have been good to know in advance as that is why i book hotels. No big deal. First room had no tv nor fridge. They switched me to another and the key wasnt working. The girl at the desk did take carr of everything. After a quick nap, i realise that there is no toilet paper for the broken holder. Went to front deak, where another lady was asking for the se thing.. which they didnt have on hand but she did go get a roll and delivered to my room. Rooms have peeling paint everywhere. Hallways and carpet are dated but i do see housekeeping washing walls of the hallway and they seem to mop the elevator and reception area frequently. Breakfast is ok. This is a classic case of you get what you pay for. If you wanted a nice hotel you wouldve paid over $100. This isnt thailand lol im not mad at all. It is what it is. Probably wont stay here again

The staff was very friendly, However, the pool was down for renovation IN THE SUMMER you think this is something they would put off until winter. That is the worst part...TINY LITTLE COCKROACHES all over the room. In the bathroom, kitchen, even the bed. If they would exterminate the stay would probably be a 5 but this is too gross not to mentioned.

This hotel is falsely advertised as having a pool and hot tub. No chance those will be available anytime soon. The fitness facility is just a treadmill and a combo machine that we did not try. The entire hotel is in a state of disrepair. The baseboards in our room were either missing or screwed in after they did an unprofessional floor repair. There were roaches in the sink and the hot water took a while to heat up. No doubt, this has been the worst hotel I’ve stayed in. Felt unclean and unsafe. Should have paid attention to the reviews.

Front desk staff (don’t know her name, but young woman) was great. She accommodated me as needed and routinely checked on me while I was waiting on a while for someone. That was the only even good thing about this hotel. Breakfast was fair due to the hot items. There was for the cereal in a job, but the only juice they had was some very thin out orange juice. Room was fair with no copier any cups of drinks or any kind and only microwave. My room looks like the refrigerator has been pulled out a giant empty space. There were also lots of outlets and things, including the hair dryer that had just been pulled out the wall. Also, many scrapes on the wood and so forth. TV either did not work or was waiting on me, a masters degree holder, too many steps to get anything to come on. Dark curtains couldn’t be pulled all the way closed so I was on the first floor with the other one side of the other open.,and air conditioner came on, but barely did anything. In the breakfast room they had AC running, but only off and on intermittently so it was still warm in the room. I honestly felt like they were running everything on “the cheap” no insult intended, but I would recommend not to follow this foreign ownership stereotype. I don’t care who owns it as long as that is comfortable and kept up. This was not. No coffee maker, and the fact that it looked like the refrigerator was pulled out of the space made it look like owners were running it into the ground to save $

Very outdated hotel. We arrived to find a line of 3 people waiting to check in. After someone beat on the office door several times, I called the front desk, which finally got someone's attention. We were sent to our room. The halls smelled of VERY heavy disinfectant use. Our room had no pillows at all. One bed was about 2 inches from the A/C. The window valance had mold and water stains, the closet was missing trim, and was full of mold.

While we were very disappointed to find out that the pool is closed indefinitely, and the hotel tended to be a little bit noisy because it's right by the highway, the rooms are decent, breakfast was good and we received excellent customer service from Jerome and Michael throughout our stay. They were very friendly and attentive and always offered their help and any assistance that we might need. Both made our stay pleasant and made us feel welcome and at home, which helped offset the disappointment about the closed pool. Thank you again, Jerome and Michael! 😀

The toilet, microwave and mini refrigerator were all disgusting. there was no blow. I had brought my own extra lock for my room door because I was traveling alone and I was very glad that I did because the door was not safe.. I tried to cancel my reservation, but I was denied by the hotel so I had no choice but to stay or lose my money that I prepaid. Lesson learned. I don't even know where to start honestly, from checking in to getting settled in to the room the entire experience has been awful on top of no cancelations, no refunds Yada yada. They don't have elevator access for a third floor booking, they don't have the pool accessible which was our primary reason for booking here with a 2yo traveling 1,000 miles - pools are invaluable to running their energy down between stays. If we could've canceled, we would've. Then on top of that they wanted to tell us we had to pay a $100 deposit which is probably more than the cost of the night stay when we booked with Affirm which specifically states no deposit no fees when setting up the installment plan. Apparently the staff had to call their GM at midnight on a Saturday to get permission not to charge a deposit they had no business charging. They said the room was on the first floor, it isn't. I don't see any handicap accessibility so good luck to anybody who needs that you will be going up stairs OR a very sketchy curb with a door that is very heavy and difficult to keep open when bringing in a trolley. All of this followed up by the unclean and ratty hotel room we got switched to which is smaller than the one we booked and pay for and who knows what other compromises we wouldn't know about. The first thing I noticed was the tub with a towel carefully draped over several burns along the edge of the tub, what looks like a deteriorating tub finish with possible mold underneath the paint.
