Great location. Not sure if breakfast was available during property construction/ remodeling. But too busy to eat breakfast on property. Bathtub decent. Can't lay down for long periods in tub because get stiff neck. Too vertical a backrest because not sloped enough. More straight up and down. Shower head sprays a little to narrow an area for me, low volume spray. But decent.

No breakfast provided. The staff were helpful and accommodating. The room smelled of mold. The beds were awful. The motel is completely outdated. The towels never dried.

Room was clean and comfortable Furniture is dated. Exterior of buildings and parking lot needs work. Motel has the appearance of a run down facility.

Room was large, bed was good but more firm than I'm used to. Bathroom was good, AC unit was loud, especially when the compressor cut on. A good value, the exterior presentation could be better.

The room was very clean and very spacious. We had the double queen. It had all the amenities we needed: microwave, fridge, coffee maker and best part there is a exhaust in the restroom. Most hotels now don’t have that anymore. Property is conveniently located to Manitou Spgs, old Colorado City and Colorado Spgs. The staff was also friendly and accommodating, even made sure the room was to our liking. Again it was really clean. Will stay again. Nothing. Looks can be deceiving. It is an older property but it’s still a great place to stay.

Great location! Manager was very nice, good price. Great view of Garden of the Gods. Room decor and property was a little dated, but beds where comfortable. No issues!

This was such a clean and cozy place to stay. Upon our arrival, I signed in with Ted. He was very kind and showed us to our room to make sure everything was in order. I highly recommend staying here, if you're looking for a good value. The property was right by Manitou Springs, and close to Garden of the Gods. Don't judge the book by it's cover...the outside could use a bit of an update, but the rooms, although outdated, were super clean and comfy. We were more than satisfied to have clean, comfortable beds. Thank you, Ted!

Nestled conveniently in Colorado Springs, Mel-Haven Lodge is a breath of fresh air – literally! From the moment you step into your room, the clean, fresh scent makes you feel right at home. It's the kind of clean you can smell, not just see. Location, Location, Location! You can't beat the proximity to Garden of the Gods, making morning strolls among the stunning red rocks incredibly easy. And if you're up for a slightly longer adventure, the Royal Gorge Bridge is a picturesque 1.5-hour drive away. Comfort and Convenience Our two queen beds were comfy, ensuring a great night's sleep after a day of exploring. Plus, the Wi-Fi is strong, perfect for planning your next day's adventures (or just scrolling through photos of all the beauty you just saw). We felt perfectly safe throughout our stay, and the front desk service was excellent – just a quick ring of the bell, and someone was there to help without any fuss. Mel-Haven Lodge truly delivers on comfort, cleanliness, and convenience. 5/5, highly recommended!

A great retro motel! Quiet motel and friendly staff. Comfortable beds and nice bathrooms. A diamond in the rough. The outside is very clean, but not fancy. Accommodating staff and offered help with bags. Checked on the room offering to make sure we had everything we needed. We loved the family suites. Plenty of room for our families.
