Reviews
The hotel reviews indicate a mix of positive and negative experiences. While some guests appreciated the friendly staff and clean rooms, others were disappointed with the outdated facilities, lack of cleanliness, and poor breakfast options.
- Friendly and helpful staff
- Clean rooms in some instances
- Outdated facilities and lingering smoke smell
- Lack of cleanliness in some rooms and common areas

There is a lot to do here so plan for more than 1 night!
- 3/5
Rooms were ok. Property is in a general state of disrepair.
- 1.5/5
King room was big Front desk was not very friendly. He was a jerk. If I didn't already pay I would have walked out. Don't waste your money or time. DO NOT STAY HERR! There are much better places up the road closer to the Manitou Incline. We ended up staying to more nights at another motel. Better amenities and staff was so helpful and very friendly.
- 4/5
This place was convenient to downtown where our event was. Super clean room and restaurant. Our only issue was key fob for electronic lock was hypersensitive and it took about 25 attempts each time we entered the room to work. Last morning we had to leave early and couldn't get into room - office staff were not on site for another 20 minutes and we had to leave with stuff still in our room. Worked out but too much of a hassle.
- 0.5/5
They were closed we arrived at 1145 they still charged me
- 2/5
It was our first time staying at this location. The first room we were given had not been cleaned at. So a staff member took us to another room that he considered an upgrade. Thank goodness I always bring extra bath towels because the upgraded room had none. After many attempts to get the tv to work

Room was dirty with dead bugs( fleas bed bugs) . Bathroom sink over flowed all over the floor in the bathroom, curtains wouldnt open or close, maintenance man had to come 4 times with an hr of check in . Was lied to about pool being open and hrs of breakfast also the location of dining area . Parking lot was dimly lite with drug addicts and homeless lurking about property and in community areas . Wasnt able to locate ice machine or laundry area.

Very good

Very rude staff, bad communication skills, bugs
- 4.5/5
Staff was as they should be. The room was clean and easily accessible. The bed was comfortable, not cozy or luxurious. Allowed my dog for a fee but had no where to walk him in the landscaping. No place, that I could see, to walk my dog. For off-season, even in Manitou Springs, price was a little high - definitely will not stay there in-seasons!

Parking right in front of our door. Front desk was very accommodating and friendly. The continental breakfast was hot and you get to make your own mini waffles. The kitchen staff was very helpful. The room was clean, the beds were comfortable and the shower was great
- 4.5/5
Great location in a beautiful and historic area of Colorado Springs, close to access to the Garden of the Gods and Pikes Peak railroad. General outside appearance may seem sketch, but the room was clean, with plenty of space and more than adequate. The price was great for the area. Breakfast was excellent, and it also is a pet friendly hotel. Just the outside appearance needs some improvement and TLC

We picked it because it wasn't n the highway so we had hoped quieter but it backs onto the highway so at least half the rooms back onto it.

I dont know the staff wouldn't answer the door or the phone so we had to find another motel.

Unfortunately the room was very small, the TV was very weird, no 24 hour staff on-site. Breakfast wasn't horrible but was not bad for seemingly a one man show he was very quick and kind.

I stayed 3 days and 2 nights, on 2nd night WiFi was out i had no access to my room no tv no access to my devices due to no WiFi. The stay was good comfy bed enough towels. Did try out their breakfast it was alright could’ve had a little more variety like more protein. But overall it was pretty good.
- 2/5
Yes about the second day one man in the office decided to start giving my husband a hard time I don't understand? We are quiet my service dog, which seemed to be a problem, he is very quiet and mine's very well behaved...I don't want to have to tell my story every time I tell them I have a service dog. We've stayed there before. It doesn't go along with the rules. I Follow their rules. One morning I wanted a coffee and my husband went to the desk to ask and they said they weren't going to make any more it wasn't even 10:00. My huband went to the store for me. Our cable was out our internet was in and out. You had to catch the cleaning people for an extra trash bag. Our last stay was not like this and I don't know why this stay was terrible (we are having Work being done in our house). I hope I don't treat their other guests in this manner We could have used a broom or something in our room as we would check in things and there's no way to clean up the floors. I'm generally very busy and don't have time take a break from the room and go somewhere so they can clean it. Oh well I guess it's just customer service these days. There are many hotels to stay at. Thank you.
- 4/5
The room was definitely clean. Wish we had extra trash bags. They also have a list in the office that says if you ruin the washcloth that'll cost you a $1.25 and the list goes on to the bedspread comforter sheets etc. Makes you feel like you can't move. There were stains on the sheets before we got here. However no one slept in that bed.
- 4/5
The room was okay. Just your basic room. It was nice to have the refrigerator microwave of course.
- 5/5
All of the above!
- 4/5
The room was great friendly staff. But was not able to get into the ice machine. Breakfast was not that great most of it was gone. Juice was out.
- 5/5
It was a quiet hotel, very convenient to everything. Good price. Good breakfast.
- 1/5
Breakfast fruit not avaible
- 4/5
Rooms were very comfortable, and the bed was lovely, nice to have a kitchenette
- 4/5
The staff were very nice and helpful during our stay. The room was clean but I was disappointed to learn there was no cookware provided with the kitchenette suite. The complimentary breakfast was not like the amenity pictures provided on the website. It would suffice; I could count on buscuits and gravy, cereal and waffles to be available always. It was a treat to have scrambled eggs and potatoes. I wish I could've counted on them being there consistently. If I hadn't have booked the kitchenette room I would have given less stars for my visit. Eating out is very expensive and it helps to lessen the monetary expenses with a nice breakfast. All in all, I don't regret the room I chose and it served us well during our vacation in Manitou Springs. I will book again in the future.
- 3/5
Good price for the stay. Our feet were covered in dog hair from a previous guest. Asked for the floors to be cleaned - if they were it was a half- a** attempt. We still had dog hair. Table surfaces missed getting cleaned too.
- 4/5
Room was fine. Breakfast was good except they need to offer cold water to drink.
- 2/5
It had someone’s hair in the shower and I was given on towel and one wash cloth no soap to wash hand and a half roll of toilet paper. I had to go ask for towels soap. The walls are super thin could hear the neighbor snoring and ever word they said. I have been to other quality Inn and had a good experience this one was way below standards.
- 1/5
Room dirty and had odor, homeless people lingering on property
- 5/5
The staff were so gracious and gard working. Had a great stay. Property was well lit and cared for.
- 5/5
I enjoyed my stay here. The room was very clean. I had a nice refrigerator and microwave. It was close to everything I wanted to do garden of the gods the Manitou incline pikes Peak.
- 5/5
Parking was right outside the door.
- 3/5
Room was clean. The hotel was definitely budget friendly.
- 2/5
Wouldn't recommend this place.
- 5/5
Exceptionally friendly staff
- 4/5
Comfortable beds, clean rooms, didn’t have towels but some were delivered
- 4/5
This is a motel. All rooms open to parking lot. The room was clean and quiet. Breakfast was in an adjacent building it was a typical breakfast. Only a few miles to Manitou Springs. Very close to back entrance to Garden of the gods!
- 2/5
This motel needs serious renovations. I'm not sure if what I saw was black mold, the smoke detector was in a drawer, no outlet covers on some of the outlets.
- 5/5
I really appreciate that the staff let my kids and I stay and eat breakfast for 30 minutes past when the breakfast room was supposed to close.
- 3/5
This hotel is conveniently located near Gardens of the God, and Red rock canyon. Ample free parking and nice and neat rooms. Breakfast was also ok.
- 5/5
Nice hotel. Quiet, clean, close to everything we wanted to do.
- 3/5
Our tv did not wotk when we got there. There was water on the floor and the airconditioner was noisey. They were quick to fix problems.
- 4/5
The property is a work in progress. It appears to be a remodel of an older building. There were part of it they appear to still be working on. Our room was fine though. New furniture, new flooring, etc. I would stay there again.
- 1/5
I unfortunately did not have the opportunity to stay here. I purchased the room once their office was closed (not knowing the office closes at 11 pm). They should not be selling rooms if they are already closed. ( i purchased at around 11:30pm) I had to struggle finding a hotel that had vacancy but luckily Days Inn was able to accommodate my needs.
- 3/5
Room was moderately clean. Found obvious areas that were not wiped down or clearly not changed. Limited towels. Staff was nice. Big room with standard amenities. Building is just old and in need of some general maintence.
- 5/5
Nice
- 1/5
Shower had mold peeling off while showering. Remote was sticky with red candy. The floors were sticky too. Left yeti lunch bag, property called us while on road. Once I got signal I called back multiple times and left message. Couple days later called from different phone and got owner. Stated he threw all my pots pans in trash and yeti bag was not in room. I tricked him by saying “you threw away a 180 dollar yeti bag?” Owner replied “it was 140.” So I said you you did see the bag and looked up the price?” Owner started to stutter and say it was in trash too. Again there are about 20 motels lined up with much nicer rooms and trusting owners.
- 4/5
Nice, easy, close to everything
- 1/5
It’s old dirty, and the smoke detector was in a drawer… It was very noisy. It was very dirty. The staff was very helpful and very sweet, but it was just not a very good property.
- 2/5
The desk clerk was friendly enough and did give us a courtesy call when we were running late for check. The property was slightly rundown, the shower, stall and tub were dirty, the wall was filthy next to the trashcan, and the floor was grimy. The mediocre breakfast was cold. Will not stay here again.
- 5/5
Great stopping place to lay your head for the night. Clean and the check-in was super easy. A lot of people were there the night we stayed, and it was still super quiet.
- 3/5
The property was OK.
- 4/5
Convenient location
- 3/5
Cons: The main issue I had was the cleanliness. The shower curtain was riddled with odd stains, and there was trash all in the stairwell. Also, the smoke detector had been removed from our room. The fan in the bathroom wouldn't turn off either. I tried to let the establishment know about the smoke detector but couldn't get ahold of someone on our last day.
- 2/5
Based on favorable ratings from previous travelers to this hotel, we booked this hotel but found those ratings to be misleading. We found this hotel to be old and in need of MANY upgrades. Bed creaked, walls dirty, stains on bed linens, layout of bathroom and sink were terrible, bugs in the room. The breakfast was disappointing at best. Limited choices and what choices were available was not restocked when it went empty. For the price that was charged for our room, I would NOT recommend a stay at Quality Inn in Manitou Springs.
- 2/5
heard people above us.
- 1/5
Extremely dirty!
- 5/5
Had very large spacious rooms. Laundry was not 24 hours.
- 2/5
The A/C unit in the room sounded like tennis shoes in a dryer. It was so loud I had to shut it off.
- 5/5
Breakfast
- 4/5
We stay 2 nights. The area is quiet. Breakfast was ok.
- 4/5
I never would have expected dual showerheads in a hotel, but it was surprisingly nice after several days camping! There was plenty of hot water and clean towels. However .... Breakfast was another matter. It appears that the hotel bought the restaurant next door to use as a breakfast room, which is fine, but there are no signs and they were "out" of all juices 1 hour after breakfast opened. The only beverages were coffee and a little milk for the cereals. The AC unit was also out and the 3 fans were turned off. Parking was plentiful, but I recommend parking during daylight because several boulders from the divide were moved into random parking spaces and could seriously damage your vehicle if you pull in too quickly or can't see well.
- 1/5
Stains on walls, dirty
- 3/5
Pool was under construction, kids were pretty disappointed by that. Rooms are somewhat updated.
- 5/5
For a budget-friendly option, this was a great property. The room was huge and the bed comfortable. You can tell the owners take pride in the place and are active working on small updates. I’d definitely stay there again.
- 3/5
Hotel was nice .. staffs was friendly.. the area just dirty outside.. the room was nice and spacious just that our room the bathroom tub was leaking water but overall the stay was nice .. breakfast was alright
- 4/5
The dog park is a 4 ft by 6 ft area. Definitely not a dog park The beds were not queen size bed. They are full size beds. Trash can out side was overflowing. Breakfast was gone before 7:30 am. And they didn’t refill it. the front desk told us there would be biscuits and gravy there was not any. Found out after we got there that we had to pay for our dogs. Definitely not pet friendly.
- 1/5
It was 3 of us and they only have towels for 2 Breakfast we arrive a bit after 8:00am and was no more eggs not bacon or patties only waffles. No juices and when I ask the waiter about it he answers rude. I will not recommend this location.
- 4/5
Good price, basic quality. Beds were comfortable. Looked to have been some water damage in the ceiling and in the bathroom. Like maybe the room above flooded. But a poor attempt was made to repair the damage. That didn't bother us, though. The entire property could use some updating. Our biggest issue was with the "breakfast" being offered. There was one guy racing around to put it all out. The diner area was so run down and old that the breakers popped every time the toaster was used. The whole room seemed to be on that one breaker so everything in the place would shut down. Plus they were out of most every thing, ran out of bagels, yogurt, apples, jam. The "breakfast" started at 7am and were arrived at 7:15. Not good to run out 15 minutes after you open, being we were the second to arrive.
- 3/5
On this road Trip this the third quality that I have stayed at and the most disappointing. I will be leaving a more detailed review on Yelp.
- 4/5
Older property adequate for an overnight stay in Manitou Springs
- 5/5
The hotel room was very nice, with many accommodations, including a kitchenette. I was pleasantly surprised. Pet friendly, and the price was good!
- 2/5
I would have scored it a bit better if it wasn't for the German cockroach in the kitchen area. Breakfast doesn't start until 7 and real people are up and ready at 6...like most places do. Just not impressed.
- 1/5
Property not maintained. Tall weeds everywhere. Pool is a mess. TV did not work. King size bed is turned the wrong way- you’re sleeping on the short side of the bed. Terrible.
- 1/5
I stayed here with a college class. I have been traveling with students for 4 years and hotel safety/cleanliness is important. The towels were dirty. The floor of my room was entirely sticky. There was mold in multiple places. We booked the room for 4 students per room. But there were only 3 towels. When asked for more towels, the front desk just said no. I would not stay here at all
- 2/5
I'd look somewhere else
- 3/5
Decent!
- 4/5
I’ve stayed at this hotel before. They have upgraded since the . The rooms were nice and spacious. The outside of the hotel is just okay. but it is very close to the Garden of the Gods and downtown Manitou Springs
- 3/5
We felt unsafe. Door handle was loose, gaps in door, questionable people hanging around in parking lot, bedding looked dirty and stained.
- 5/5
Must give it a try, even though look sketchy. Served continental breakfast is perfect. If you don’t like, option were accross the street. Our room was clean as expected. We got the one with kitchenette. Microwave is high though. Lol. I’m short. Quiet area if you want to be outside downtown Manitou. 2mins drive to Safeway grocery. Overall
- 4/5
Great location. Room was clean. Outside area had a lot of stuff laying around and unkept areas with weeds. Breakfast area very clean and nice selection. Staff very friendly. I enjoyed my stay.
- 5/5
Nice park across the street, and the staff is kind and helpful. Would stay here again.
- 4/5
Great property, great location and great price. Basic property that is clean, comfortable and convenient to Manitou Springs. Has everything you need for a great price. Management is helpful and happy to help. Check out Mo's for breakfast directly across the street. You won't be sorry.
- 5/5
The gentleman that check us in was great! Very professional and kind. Room was large and very comfortable for a good price. Breakfast was great too! Would highly recommend.
- 5/5

- 5/5
Everything was good! It was super quiet in the area. Will definitely stay there again
- 4/5
Overall a nice clean place to stay
- 3/5
Nothing special about the place decent price for an over night stay. Very close to Pikes peak train station is a plus. Grab and go quick breakfast.

- 5/5
Great location, great view, clean, nice, quiet. Staff very helpful, friendly, professional. Thank you - enjoyed my stay.
- 5/5
The room was nice and clean, and the continental breakfast was great 👍
- 1/5
Frustrating experience. Never again for this location. I hope it was an anomaly. Makes me doubt future stays at >Quality Inns. Don't stay here. During breakfast down street, got notice of cc purchases. Cleared that up BUT in mean time bogus (?) charge cc company refused for $100 from here. Don't stay here.
- 5/5
I chose this hotel because it was close to Balanced Rock of the Garden of the Gods, Wow it was 2 minutes driving from the park and I got the opportunity to see deer at the near by city park
- 4/5
This property is newly remodeled, the rooms are clean except for the curtains. They were supposed to be doubled up but it was single. It was difficult to sleep with so much light.
- 4/5
Was clean. Had a good location and inexpensive.
- 4/5
Great stay
- 1/5
The bed sheets were wrinkled looks like the bed was slept in
- 3/5

- 5/5
Options for breakfast, clean room, property could use a little TLC but not too bad of conditions. Employees were nice.
- 4/5
It was a nice place to stay.
- 3/5
Blood splatter on the ceiling explains everything. It looks like they are trying to clean up the property but they have a long way to go.

- 4/5

- 4/5
Clean, quiet kind staff
- 3/5
I would stay there again and the breakfast was great.
- 1/5
Overall not clean. Breakfast was pretty much nonexistent, I had a bagel. Went to check out…nobody to give me my receipt, So no idea what the final charge will be ! Should have asked for a refund !! Sorry, never give reviews but this place a lest than zero in my opinion!!
- 4/5
The outside looked liked aged hotel. The inside was fully remodeled and clean. Location is close to downtown Manitou which is quaint.
- 5/5
Friendly staff!
- 3/5
Breakfast was exactly the same every day for 5 days. Some days it was cold and had to warm eggs in microwave.
- 4/5
It was a nice little place. The bathtub didn't drain very well though
- 4/5
The hotel staff was very accommodating and friendly. The room was spacious and all the appliances worked.
- 3/5
Room itself was clean and the staff was pleasant during check-in.
- 5/5
Great location walking distance from all the sight seeing things you can do or a short drive away. Room was nice!
- 5/5
Comfortable beds, friendly staff and decent breakfast.
- 4/5
you got to be kidding.
- 4/5
…
- 3/5
Easy to find. Hotel, bedroom, bathroom all clean. Motel style so we could park outside the room. Breakfast was good, with hot food. Noise from floor above. Plenty of restaurants in Colorado Springs (a few minutes by car).
- 5/5
Great place to stay when staing in this cute and quaint town. We would go back.
- 3/5
I believe they are in the process of improving. It is close to activities but not close enough to walk. There are several dining options in walking distance and many others within a couple minutes drive. Very easy access to Garden of the Gods
- 1/5
This Quality Inn has nothing to do with quality. No pool, old and smelly. Go to the Holiday Express across the street for just about the same rate with Pool and spa, great breakfast.
- 3/5
Not to bad as a property and the vendor was very nice however I didn’t like the adjoining rooms this didn’t make me feel very comfortable
- 5/5
The outsude looked old and run down. Rooms where remodeled and very clean and nice. Bathroom had a door and the toilet had it's own door too!! Great when traveling with older children. Convenient location. Pool was out of commission. Very affordable, would stay again. Pet friendly.
- 3/5
The steps and area outside the rooms need power washing. The bedspread needed washing. Room was spacious.
- 5/5
The Room was spacious and well maintained. We also had a walk-in shower, which was much appreciated.
- 3/5
Rooms just felt outdated and there was a lingering smell in the room, smelled of smoke for a non smoking establishment. Only stayed one night
- 1/5
I so wanted to give a good review, because the staff were just wonderful. Couldn't say enough good things about Jose and housekeeping works so hard. However, this place is like lipstick on a pig. The motel grounds were filthy, overground weeds, and the closed pool was disgusting. The room was cheaply and poorly renovated. You can tell management is trying to make due with what they have available, but it truly is a 1-2 star motel.
- 4/5
Wish the parking was directly in front of the rooms however everything went smoothly in checking in and during our stay.
- 4/5
It was a nice stay.
- 2/5
An older property that was attempting to be upgraded. WiFi was not operable. Laundry facilities were a shambles as no machines were working and had been vandalized. Very noisy most of the night as the walls and floors were thin and it always sounded like someone was moving furniture or repairing something above me.
- 2/5
Motel is in need of a complete renovation, there was no internet and had been broken for over a week. The pool had dirty water and piles of pool furniture, like it hadn’t been open for years. Stair area was dirty, walk ways had spots of sloppy painting. We will not stay here again.
