From check in to check out it was a marvelous time! Staff were friendly and most helpful! Breakfast like most other continental styles but kept fresh and had hot items to select from! On the edge of town and easy to get where you are going! We’ll come again!

We had a great stay at Manitou Pikes Peak Inn. Only problem was walk-in shower was not available and handicap room was at the other end from front desk and breakfast area....which required lots of walking. Location was great!

We stayed in multiple hotels on our trip, and this one was the best, and least expensive (by quite a bit)! The room was very clean and the continental breakfast was perfect - with lots to offer. The location was also perfect for what we had planned (visit to Pikes Peak via van; horseback riding through Garden of the Gods; visiting downtown Manitou Springs and Old Town Colorado)! All were were less than 10 minutes from the hotel. It is located in walking distance of numerous restaurants too! Would definitely stay here again!

Stayed in the Alpine Room, a sort of apartment. Well-supplied. Breakfast was good, glad to have the gym & laundry. Jacuzzi was wonderful. Will keep coming back!

The room could have been cleaner. Edges of room carpeting were not vacuumed properly. Debris where tables and nightstands were not moved away to vacuum properly.

Room was clean and quiet. Marginal breakfast for us as we were going to do the Manitou Incline and the selection was very limited. Fine if you were planning on eating lunch early.

The hotel has a strong smell of air freshener when you walk in. Our room itself smelled like it had been smoked in and they tried to cover it up. My partnered said it smelled like they fumigated. We had to open the window up in 30 degree weather to air it out, but as soon as the window was closed, the scent came back.

The hotel was very clean and the hot tub in our room was wonderful! Only downside id say is once we got out of the hot tub our floor would get really wet! Would have to lay down towels on the floor, not sure if it was a leak or what! Everything else was good!

We loved our stay. The hotel was older, but well-maintained. It was convenient to a lot of things, plus had a town shuttle .2 miles from hotel. We would stay there again.

The Manitou Pikes Peak Hotel exceeded our expectations. The location was excellent. The hotel was clean. The staff went above and beyond to make everything perfect. The breakfast area was always kept clean and tidy, and the food was delicious. I had a lost item and it was located by the staff kept at the front desk. I highly recommend this place to stay in Manitou Springs.

The property was located in a convenient part of Manitou Springs. The staff was friendly and helpful in the hot tub room that my wife and I stayed in for our 23rd wedding anniversary was just what we needed to reset and reconnect.

With so many places to choose from in the area, we are so glad we chose Manitou Pikes Peak Hotel. The rooms and common areas were clean and modern. Staff was friendly. Well stocked breakfasr bar with excellent coffee (hotel coffee is usually undrinkable:). We highly recommend!

Hot tub was amazing. Swimming pool was a little cool, would have liked to have a little more variety for breakfast options. We either had prepared scrambled eggs and sausage or biscuit and gravy. Everything else about the hotel was perfect. A very nice hotel, clean, staff very helpful. Highly recommend the hotel.

Our room was clean so was the pool ,hot tub ,lobby. The people were friendly .Breakfast was one of the best at a hotel that I've had in a long time. Would definitely go back there again.

This hotel is in a beautiful area. The staff were so helpful and friendly. The breakfast was disappointing because of the lack of fresh options. My family chose to eat elsewhere after the first morning. Everything else was wonderful for our stay. I would highly recommend this hotel!

Beautiful View of Pikes Peak in room 219. The only thing I had issue's with was the beds were very firm. My family and I will stay there again when we come back for a vacation, and yes we will come back as the week we were there the cog rail was only going half way up, the winds were fierce and you could not drive all the way also because of the winds.

By far our favorite hotel on our 3700 mile trip. The staff were very friendly, the room was very clean and quiet, and it was close to everything.

Great location! We had a Pikes Peak view and the room was perfect. The balcony was great and they provide 2 chairs in the closet inside. Walking distance from downtown Manitou Springs on the greenbelt. We had to add a night and the person that checked us in was very accommodating and we didn’t have to move rooms. Breakfast was very good! Everything you could expect from a chain hotel breakfast. Will definitely be back! 10/10

The location was near Garden of the Gods. Other roads were easily accessible from this location The breakfast was wonderful and the facilities were clean. This location is also close to the Manitou Springs attractions which could either be driven or walked to. The hotel wasn't the newest with the latest technology, but is a great location to get away to the mountain area.

Stopped in not expecting much because I didnt know the brand. I was blown away by the cleanliness and condition of the room and fixtures. There are so many other places near but they can't compete.

Overall a good stay. Room needed a more thorough cleaning, esp flat surfaces like table, night stands and counter. Looked like staff forgot that detail. Hot tub and pool was a nice feature. Breakfast was fine and the staff were friendly. Parking was convenient and city shuttle to Incline was nearby, as well as a decent grocery store. Would stay again if in the area.

We had a great stay! There was no view from our room but we were outside most of the time so not a problem.

Spent two nights here. Comfortable beds and great location close to downtown Manitou and Colorado Springs. Clean hotel. Able to open window to air out heavy air freshener smell. Direct tv service is unreliable even on blue bird days. Good continental breakfast. Was a bit odd that cleaning service came by at 9 am on day of check out to see if they could clean when check out was at 11.

Hot tub was only warm. Room had a really bad odor, but they did move us to another room with no issue. Extra charge to check in 90 min early, which is unusual to me. Parking was good, facility was well kept and staff friendly. Convenient for driving to attractions but not really close enough to walk downtown. Gross mystery brand shampoo/conditioner/ bodywash contraption in shower instead of individual packets, which seemed like it could get contaminated by other guests if they were inclined to do so. Coffee was decent. Felt safe.

I like the zone and the staff not is racist and good persons

The TV did not work for 2 days. When I called the fromt desk for help they told me to pull out the cabinet, disconnect the cable and the electric, let it sit for a few minutes and they reconnect everything. They still did not work and when I tried to call again, they never answered.

The hot tub felt nice after doing the Manitou incline! By the way, the parking to the shuttle for the incline is super close to the hotel. I wish I new that before paying for parking, but I hope it helps you. Would definitely stay here again!

Rooms were clean and bathrooms were nice. Microwave, small frig and coffee maker. Parking was convenient.

We really enjoyed our stay at Magnuson. The rooms were very comfortable, the staff we friendly, and the breakfast was a nice convenience. It's also a great location with an easy walk to the shuttle pickup for the Incline.

The room seemed to be missing arm chairs/seating. There was a random floor lamp alone in the corner where a chair would normally be. The room was tired and they need to invest in better/new mattresses and pillows. The room smelled very strongly of some sort of cleaning product. I am glad they clean the room, but we had to open the window to air out the room. The continental breakfast was good and the attendant was great. She was super quick to restock and help all of the guests. The hotel was quiet and the location is good, but we would never stay there again unless they overhaul the furnishing and bedding. We spent the day after our stay tired and in pain due to the terrible beds.

AC worked well, the staff was super friendly. The room we had didn’t have a balcony which is my only negative since we paid 10 extra for a Picks Peak view.

Loved the location! We were within walking distance to the free shuttle that took you into Manitou Springs. Garden of the Gods and Old Colorado City was a quick 5 minute drive away. We were also a short drive from downtown Colorado Springs. There were 4 of us and we had connecting rooms. The breakfast in the morning was good. Would definitely recommend.

This hotel was a good basic hotel. Room was very typical room. More spacious than most. Small sofa facing tv. King bed, and the room also had a good size refrigerator and microwave. Place was very clean throughout. Breakfast was good. Location was perfect if you are there for hiking as we were. Five minute walk from Garden of the Gods. Seven minute drive to Manitou incline. Five minutes to downtown Manitou. Ten minutes to downtown Colorado Springs. Fifteen minutes from Seven Falls. We had a great stay for eight days and were really glad we picked that location. We would stay there again.

The beds/mattresses were a bit old, as well as the sheets. Bathroom was too small for 2 people. Coffee was good and breakfast was medium

The location of this hotel is great because the area is historic. Views of the mountains and garden of the gods are stunning. Staff were mostly friendly. The bed was a bit lumpy that made sleeping difficult. Room was clean and breakfast was standard hotel style buffet - just edible. Coffee and infused water always available in the lobby.

They had iced water and lemonade available for free in the lobby, really nice when you're leaving on a hike!

The hotel location is near the landmarks and clean and staff are respectful.

The room was a little noisy as it sat about 10 feet from the road. The carpet felt dirty. The room was obviously a bit dated but otherwise wasn't bad. We had a fridge and microwave and enjoyed those. Bathroom door didn't locked, which was just strange. Toilet paper was quite a reach from the toilet. The bathroom either didn't have an exhaust fan or it wasn't operating because every shower fogged up the room and it took forever to drop the humidity. We used the hot tub two days. We kept the bubbly thing going because otherwise we could see to the bottom and observed how dirty it was. It even felt sandy in some places. Breakfast was decent. Standard selection of waffles, yogurt, cereals, oatmeal and of course the old standby, red delicious apples. If I had to stay in the area again, I might stay here. It wasn't horrible but it also wasn't spectacular. Outside the hotel was pretty sketchy, but we didn't feel unsafe inside.

Our room was really spacious and comfortable, plus it had a mini fridge with a freezer…perfect for keeping our ice packs frozen! Lots of dining options close by (including Adam’s Mountaim Cafe which was fantastic!) and the location is perfect for driving to Garden of the Gods, Pike’s Peak and the charming Historic District of Manitou Springs!!

Amazing how clean the room was for its price, it was a good hotel for a nice price.

Staff was great. Upon check in bed sheets were dirty (random hair and dirt throughout) and didn’t appear to have been changed. Contacted front desk and got new sheets. Housekeeping was gone so we changed our own sheets which isn’t a big deal. After that it was a nice stay.

Bathroom door in unit 210 needs to be fixed it will not close because the door is rubbing the frame.

Our room was also very clean and nice.

Door would not close completely until we pulled it shut, the tile grout in the bathroom was very dirty, the tub faucet dripped, the light in the bathroom kept going on and off, the mattress on one of the beds was extremely soft, there were no comfortable chairs in the room.

Well maintained but needs a few updates.

We were in town for our son’s wedding and needed to book multiple rooms. All of the rooms were exceptionally clean and spacious. The staff went above and beyond to accommodate us. Only down side is the only place to gather as a large group is on the outside patio and it was raining.

The beds in the bedroom were not very comfortable, it felt like you were going to slide off the edge like they were very worn not very soft other than that It wasn't so bad breakfast wasn't very tasty the eggs and sausage were not great

Wonderful value for money with proximity to everything we needed to reach.

The rooms were adequate for our stay. Our AC didn't seem to be working as good as it should for high cool and fan on high. Beds were ok but definitely not that comfortable but thats to be expected. Nothing beats you own bed! Overall the stay was great! Definitely would stay again as long as the rooms can be cooler! We bought a fan while there to help cool the room and move some air around.

The hotel is very clean and well kept, so even though it is older, it is still a very pleasant place to stay. At check in the front desk agent didn’t greet me, instead I had to initiate conversation saying “Hi, I need to check in”, she glanced up at me and said “just a minute, I just need to finish this” and proceeded to write down some notes. She then acknowledged me and asked if I was checking in… yes.. I already stated that. She informed me I’d be charged at check in and a hold placed on my card that they would release after check out, and I’d have to contact my bank to get the funds released more quickly if I wanted them. It was a peculiar check in inter action. The room was clean, the linens seemed fresh. Unfortunately we had some storms come through and so the satellite TV wasn’t working and the dated TV did not have any way to stream from my phone- so I had nothing to watch. The beds were VERY soft- comfy for lounging, but not the best for anyone needing support. Breakfast in the morning was good, the area was clean and well attended to with a good variety of items available. When I went to check out, I told the desk attendant I was checking out and she tapped a clear box labeled “express check out” without saying anything to me. The location was great- within easy driving distance of all the sites I wanted to see, with plenty of food options nearby. The room was clean and comfortable- but maybe consider updating the tv’s to accommodate streaming.

Very clean and great staff. I was disappointed in WIFi. Wife was unable to check on work related business on laptop. Had to turn off WIFi on cell phones to access sites.

The hotel offered a small buffet breakfast, which was a nice touch, though I found it to be a bit limited compared to other hotels I've stayed at that provide complimentary breakfast. A little more variety would have made it more appealing. While the room itself was comfortable and well-maintained, I think the bathrooms could benefit from some updating and modern touches in terms of decor and design. A refresh would go a long way in improving the overall guest experience. All in all, a good stay for the price and location — just a few areas that could be improved to make it even better.

Have stayed here 5 times now. The property is excellent and convenient to Pike's Peak, Manitou Springs, and Garden of the Gods. The front desk service is great. The banana bread for breakfast is my go to.

Staff great and helpful. Directed me to shuttle service to help me get around the town without having to take my car. My bed was a little worn on the side nearest the night stand. I slept in the middle of the bed and that was fine. The mattress needs to be turned or replaced. My husband slept in the other bed he found his fine even next to the night stand.

What a great hotel! The rooms are a good size, the beds are comfortable and the staff was fantastic. We had a huge delay flying in and I had to call to let them know we would be arriving really late (5am in the morning) and you got to speak to an actual person at the front desk, not a computer or a call center. It was great! The gentleman that helped us was so friendly and helpful, just a breath of fresh air after the day we had. It’s super close to everything, I would definitely stay here again.

The hotel was very clean and the staff was very friendly. Only downside for me was the lack of in house restaurant. Other than that it was a great place to stay.

Sufficient for a short stay but there was some noise coming from outside making it difficult to sleep.

This property was great! Centrally located to so many places. Wonderful friendly staff, clean facility, good continental breakfast, chairs for the balcony, maid staff daily. There was a bus of kids staying and they ate breakfast ahead of us and kind of wiped everything out but as soon as we went in, the staff immediately restocked everything, put out fresh breads and the hot foods, restocked the yogurts and fruit without being asked so that was great! We would definitely stay there again. Hallways are a bit dark but I could live with that.

decent motel with a great view if pikes peak

This was a decent hotel in the manitou springs area that was fairly average in terms of comfort. The indoor pool is relatively large which I liked. It’s also conveniently close to garden of the gods, cave of the winds, and pikes peak if those are places you plan to spend time visiting.
