Staff was very friendly nd attentive.

Last minute reservation. The complex is under some renovation it seems so there was some construction around the back. Room seemed pretty clean although there were stains on the bedspread. The room was in decent condition although none of the plugs were tight for plugging in my devices.
- 4/5
My car was broken into Seedy looking characters around the property
- 1.5/5
Only location was ok. Room was super stinky. We were unable to breath properly. Zero cleanliness. Building was shaking. If the next room neighbours closes or opens the door, your entire room will shake. It's an old building. Not recommend for staying with kids or family.

The gentleman who checked me in and out was very nice. The facilities were clearly pretty old, which is fine, but unfortunately EVERYTHING was very dirty. The floors, walls, and bath tub especially were all visibly covered in dirt and grime. My son had black feet after running around on the floor in the room, at that point, I was uncomfortable even sleeping under the covers as I'm not sure how well the beds were cleaned considering nothing else seemed to be.
- 0.5/5
Over booked and didn't stay. Did not look like a good place to stay with the type of people hanging around the front entrance.
- 1/5
Expedia overbooked the hotel and did not let us know. We arrived at the hotel and were turned away. We had to scramble to find alternate accommodations. Not acceptable.
- 4/5
I really stressed on this trip over finding a place to stay. I enjoyed staying here, and I would stay here again.
- 4/5
Very good
- 2/5
The service personnel were super nice, everyone was super friendly and helpful. The location was super close to the garden of the gods. The room itself was not so great, foul odor, ac didn’t cool properly, door at times would not lock. Bit outdated
- 5/5
Staff was very nice and friendly. Gave us great suggestions on where to eat an gave us great directions as to how to find things. Rooms were very clean Na
- 5/5
I really liked two things. One: the staff was very friendly and greeted me with smiles and answers to my questions. They were great! Two: while the building is older and shows some signs of use I thought it was very clean and looked after. I never saw a single bug, the room was exceptionally tidy with fresh bedding, towels and toiletries. I don’t have anything to note.
- 4/5
The property was older, but the staff did a great job with cleaning and maintaining the interiors and exteriors. I was always seeing them clean! The staff was friendly and we had a good experience.

Terrible odors in room.

Friendly helpful staff. We didn't ask for room service, but staff was always helpful when we asked for towels and toilet paper. And when we had trash to take out, they helped us know where to put it. Always cheerful and nice. Clean grounds too. No after-hours noise. We used the washing machine, so nice. Nice to also be able to choose a sneak pop beverage in the pop machine. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you. With the exceptionally hot Colorado weather it was hard for the AC to keep up later in the afternoon when we wanted to cool down. We know hotels don't usually have fans but when we asked for a fan they tried to accommodate us. We did go buy our own fan to help cool the room down and get the air moving. We were fine just hard to go out in the heat and sightsee and spend money and come back to a warm room. Darn it! We were in a back, Mountain side room. Thank you for always trying to help. Workers were also very helpful when the plug in didn't work one morning. Probably a thrown breaker. Everything was plugged into that outlet, 6 plug ins. It didn't happen again. Workers were helpful and checked on it and it was fixed when we returned hours later. Hey, things happen. Thank you. Thank you.
- 5/5
DJ at reception when we arrived was just a wealth of knowledge clued us into all the restaurants and surrounding attractions. Breakfast was excellent.
- 2/5
All of the staff were very helpful and friendly and there's no complaint about service. Main complaint is the bathroom which was not cleaned properly at all. There were still hairs from previous guests on the floor and sink. The shower needs a new surround - the plastic coating is coming off and very stained. The shower curtain was pretty stained too. I booked this place to stay under the $100 rate but I'm regretting it. I stayed at a Days Inn in Kansas for the same price the night before and the room was spotless, overall quality was way better.
- 5/5
The rooms were clean and the staff was super sweet. The a.c unit didn't work
- 4/5
Very good
- 2.5/5
Passable
- 2/5
The staff was very friendly and helpful. They informed me where the best place to park for my room was. A vending machine for food and drinks is conveniently located by the ice and laundry machine. There were only three dull lamps to light the bedroom, and the TV remote only worked 50% of the time. The AC is ancient and the main buttons were rubbed off from being pressed so often. I had to guess what each button did to get it running. Overall it felt like an old hotel that could use a good cleaning.
- 5/5
John was absolutely wonderful. Went above and beyond to help us out. He's a great person to chat with too. Thank you John, for everything.
- 1.5/5
The selection was poor. The room was over 90 degrees coming into the room. The curtains should have been closed to keep the heat out. The room did not cool down till about midnight or so. The bathroom was very gross. The shower was very warm and outdated. The hallways were extremely hot and no air circulation. This hotel is in need of some upgrades.
- 2/5
You definitely get what you pay for but I expected better than this. The pictures on the travel site I used must have been from when they first opened because they are nothing like it looks now. When we pulled up I immediately regretted my hotel choice. The location is shady, the hotel behind it looked like it was either for prostitution or drugs, and there were people loitering on the property. When we were walking to our room, the hallway didn’t feel like the AC was on. We switched rooms because the AC wasn’t working in ours and was told that there was only one other available room. So we moved and the new room was definitely cooler but the AC was so loud! But I figured we’d deal with it since it was cool. But by the evening the AC had been on for a while and we smelled a strong mildew smell. We thought it would go away but it never did. Since the guy said this was the only room left, we didn’t saw anything because where would they move us? So we had to deal with that horrible smell 3 days. As far as the cleanliness, the sheets, pillow cases, and comforters had stains, the bathroom had stains in the sink, ceiling, and shower, the shower rod was coming out of the wall. It looked like it hasn’t been updated in a very long time. Needless to say if we’re ever back in this area, I’m going to pick a totally different street for a hotel.

We booked but we did not stay.Upon seeing the room,we left right away and we found a very nice hotel nearby .Terrible,Terrible terrible😖
- 1/5
Room smells need attention.
- 5/5
Excellent and very friendly staff
- 4/5
Good location near to garden of gods and cog railway.
- 3/5
Older motel. Street people were wondering around the building during day and night. Was very upsetting.
- 5/5
Very nice staff. We had a dog room. It had hard floors for easy cleanup. And it smelt clean.
- 5/5
The day manager helped me out by giving me a first floor room at no exter charge because my wife needed to use a walker and the stairs would have been to hard for her to get up and down. Thanks again for a nice stay.
- 4/5
Remodel in progress. So, overall was nice, and polite employees.
- 5/5
Room 121 will never be forgotten.
- 3/5
The hotel is old and run down. The pillows are small and they only give you 2 for 2 double beds. Only 2 towels as well so we had to ask for extra. The parking lot is small. The tv wasn't that great either and only had a couple channels. If you just need a bed to sleep in then this hotel will work for you. The metal bed frames were so loud and need to be taken out too.

Excellent customer service from Jenny at front Desk and Brian room service. Very pleased both employees were friendly, courteous, and very professional. Thanks for our stay
- 5/5
Nice place would stay here again
- 3/5
I did not like how the rooms were non-smoking yet there were cigarette Burns and smelled like cigarette smoke badly actually had to clean my room with lemons to make it smell better so I could sleep
- 2/5
The checkin process at the hotel, the clerk was slow, took forever. She was curt and seemed troubled to having to work. Cleaning staff was rude. No elevator.
- 4/5
Overall good only there to sleep for 8 hours
- 5/5
Super clean rooms. Pet friendly! Did not smell like it has had pets. Not much grass for pets unless you take a walk. DJ was amazing during check in! We would definitely stay here again
- 3/5
The staff is nice, breakfast is ...well the gas station had a better selection.
- 5/5
The place was very comfortable and staff was great to work with
- 5/5
I had a great experience here. The staff was friendly, facilities were clean, a quiet place to refresh.
- 3/5
The Hotel Manager went out of her way to be of assistance. Super friendly and helpful.
- 2/5
We liked the location. However, we were not very impressed with the room service as only after the first night was our room beds made up. The last 4 nights nothing but shampoo/bar soap was brought in. We even had to go down to get enough towels. Pillows are not very good. Floor was filthy, as when we went to wipe up some water the wash cloth was black. Door handle on bathroom was not fixed until we said something. The incoming clerks were good people.
- 5/5
All good
- 5/5
I thought all of the crew were exceptionally friendly, helpful and met our needs to the best of their ability. The housekeeper did exactly what we asked. Even though it’s not a 5 star hotel, it was pleasant. Hats off! I’ll stay again. 😎
- 3/5
The staff was wonderful. They met our every request with a very positive and quick response. They even helped us carry all of our luggage to the 2nd floor. The room was decent but the vinyl floor was sticky, needed thorough mopping. Very few electrical outlets. Not enough lighting.
- 5/5
Awesome desk staff and clean room
- 1/5
The bathroom was not at all clean and was in ver poor condition. I refused to take a shower, it was so bad. I have pictures. Also the whole property wreaked of cigarette smoke. We only stayed one night because I refused to stay the second night. The breakfast was only cereal and toast. We went to IHOP for breakfast.
- 4/5
Very friendly staff, only one door to go in and out, no big deal if you dont mind. For the price i think is a good deal.
- 1/5
The room smelled. The air conditioning unit was so loud we turned it off and opened the window on the second night even though we didn’t have a screen on the window. It also smelled like dog breath. The paint job especially in the bathroom was poorly done. The inside of the bathroom door had bed clawed by a dog. We were on the second floor and they had no elevator. Would not recommend staying here.
- 3/5
The fat guy at the front desk sucked. He was nosey, sexist and mildly creepy when we checked in. Otherwise, the room itself was acceptable for the price and our needs.
- 2/5
The lobby smelled like an ashtray as did the hallways & our “non-smoking” room. The tv in our room didn’t work, the mini fridge didn’t work & the window curtains were heavily stained & had cigarette burns in several places. Just couldn’t get over the smell. Very out dated & run down. Very sad for a $125 nights stay. Will not stay here again. Beware the pictures are not of this property, except the outside picture of the building.
- 3/5
Good - Room was clean and comfortable. Good location to explore the area. Bad - The in-room A/C is very loud when it turns on and annoying. Even turning its fan to a lower setting didn't seem to solve it. Ice machine broke and not fixed. Hallways and just outside building smelled like pot-smoke.
- 4/5
Friendly and helpful staff. I don’t know his name but he was a great host! Beds were comfortable and the room clean. Note: I would have liked a grab bar in the bathtub/shower.
- 5/5
This is a lower budget hotel so I was expecting clean, no frills, a place to sleep. It provided all of this. Our room was clean. The staff provided above expectations by working hard for us at check in and going beyond to get our room clean before check in time. Would definitely stay again.
- 4/5
Staff was very nice
- 4/5
The service at the front desk was very good! The lady that checked us in had noticed we ordered a smoking room, and saved a non-smoking room just in case we meant to order a non-smoking room. We were very grateful she did that, since we ordered it by mistake. The bed was comfortable and the room was pretty nice and updated, but the air conditioner was pretty loud on low so we shut it off when we went to sleep and used our own box fan, and were comfortable. I wouldn’t want to stay there for a long stay, but one night was fine.
- 5/5
It is in need of repair This time the juice machine was broken and the coffee was awful You have the best staff though
- 5/5
The staff was very friendly and helpful with their location and places.
- 5/5
The hotel environment are clean, quite and comfortable. A few good restaurants within walking distance.
- 5/5
I was having knee surgery that day and they ensured that I was on the ground floor. I was also able to check in early. They were so helpful and friendly. I got way more than I paid for. So pleased.
- 4/5
Room was clean. No problems except the TV didnt turn on. Luckly front desk lady came to room. She found the issue, TV wasnt plugged in. We all had a good laugh.
- 3/5
Property was a little neglected (tub did not hold water, pretty small rooms). The price & location were good.
- 4/5
A walkin shower should be available in every unit for any elderly or handicapped person.
- 3/5
The staff was friendly, but thd site is not very appealing. There were sketchy people hanging around the premises and when we got back on Saturday evening there were police there dealing with something. Oh and our room had an odd odor to it. Yuck, didn't want to take my shoes off...
- 2/5
Umm... this entire building wreaked of cigarette smoke. Overall, pretty dirty. Don’t let the online pictures fool you. At least the front desk lady was super nice.
- 3/5
People who work the front desk were very nice, friendly and professional
- 1/5
The man checking us in was very nice and that’s as good as it gets. The room was very dated and gross. Smoke stains throughout the whole room and not clean. Toothpaste in the sink and trash under the desk. Never again would I stay here.
- 1/5
I would not recommend this place. I stayed here before and it was acceptable. Not bad for a $50 room. However, on my most recent visit they wanted to charge me $40 more for my dog. $40? Online, through Expedia, they advertise $10. Very unprofessional people at the front desk were not willing to honor of the $10 per night dog fee. Very peculiar because it was 7:30 at night and there were there was 1 or 2 cars in the parking lot.
- 1/5
The first two rooms we got the toilet didn't work and won so they moved us to a different two rooms and the AC didn't work in the other so we asked for a refund. Ask them for a refund they told me I had to get hold of hotels.com but still no word. STAY AWAY
- 5/5
Staff was very nice enjoyed our stay here
- 5/5
Stay was pretty good, it just smelled really bad. I can’t describe the smell but it wasn’t a smell good smell. It was tolerable for one night and I’d recommend for a cheap overnight stay. Just have air freshener
- 4/5
It is ok overall, pet friendly but there is $20/pet.
- 5/5
The room was spacious and quiet. Staff was friendly and they provide breakfast.
- 5/5
The front desk was friendly and helpful. I would come back to stay again.
- 1/5
Horrible service staff was extremely rude
- 4/5
Quiet
- 5/5
Very clean, great room, great location!
- 4/5
It's was priced very good
- 4/5
It was clean . The staff were very nice!!
- 5/5
Nice place with easy address for door dash driver to get too.
- 4/5
Jennifer at the front desk was very helpful, smiling and make us feel welcome. Appreciate breakfast in the mornings! Thank you so much!
- 1/5
The smell of smoke was horrible and then they intensified it with a "febreeze" type of odor remover....made us sick to our stomach. Sketchy, NOTHING like pictures, and NOT worth the price. Never again, more comfort in your car, which is where I ended up.....couldn't take the smell!
- 2/5
I liked that I could park my car right by our room window. I did not like that men were hanging out around the exit doors into the late hours of the night, walking back and forth past the cars in the parking lot, including between my own vehicle and our room window. My sister and I felt unsafe coming back to the room late.
- 3/5
We had to sign that we'd pay a $200 fee if we were smoking in the room (we don't!) but as soon as we walked up the stairs to the room, the hallway wreaked of tobacco smoke. We were told -- oh -- there are still 2 smoking rooms available!! The carpet is likely 20+ years old and catches all the odors. Staff was pleasant. Bed and pillows were fine. But generally an older, tired facility. But close to our meeting, and we spent only sleeping time in the room so it was adequate.
- 5/5
It was amazing,,,, staff was friendly, room was clean, good breakfast…… Enjoyed my stay
- 4/5
Besides my husband being offered a five pound bag of weed in the parking lot, it was an alright stay I suppose. Not the worst hotel I've been in. The room was clean, staff was nice. Ice machine didn't work. Breakfast didn't have anything but waffles and cereal. Front desk was frequently unoccupied. Hallway smelled like weed from one room using it, and I'm allergic. As in asthma attack triggered allergic.
- 4/5
Ryan was very plesant and helpful.
- 4/5
Basic cheap hotel stay, I didn’t have anything to complain about.
- 3/5
There was no business center to print, was on business.
- 4/5
The beds were terrible I had two queen beds one had the bed frame wheel broken so the bed would tip to the side. The other the mattress was worn down when you lied down you would lean to the side were it wasn't flat
- 2/5
I did not know the room was a smoking room and it was hard to sleep in such a smell! Unfortunately it was all that was available in the area.
- 1/5
Poorly functioning air conditioner, not very clean, and the room smelled bad.
- 2/5
Very old hotel. Not upkept at all. The lady at the front desk was amazing and so welcoming but the actual room was disgusting. There was dust on the lamps along with stains and cigarette burn marks all over the blankets and curtains. We went in a busy weekend so rooms were pricey eveerywhere but we paid almost $200 for this and felt really ripped off. On the plus side, the battroom was clean BUT the hairdryer wouldn't work. We were also told we had a non smoking room and would be charged a fine if we smoked (we don't smoke at all) but there was an ashtray on the table...???? All in all, spend your money elsewhere.
- 3/5
It was close tothe highway, which is good for travelers but it was hot & stuffy & the rooms were not cleaned properly, food on the floor, coffee pot not plugged in & no where to plug it in other than on the nightstand by the bed. The AC barely worked, slamming doors down the hallway & screaming outside in the middle of the night made for a sleepless night.
- 1/5
While we were checking in there was a gentlemen guest who was was there with a friend checking in, or so I thought, but he looked like he was escorting him to a new half way house with a probational ankle bracelet, and made a comment to him how people will look down on him because of his hardware. This happened as he left with me. Then left his friend unattended in the lobby, until the next day when he was going to pick him up. It is one thing to advertise this hotel as a budget hotel and charge a budget price, but I feel taken advantage of by Super 8, Hotels.com.
- 4/5
parking was ok
- 3/5
Needs continued remodeling. Smoking in other rooms contaminates nonsmoking rooms.
- 2/5
Wonderful staff but VERY run down. 😫. 2 pillows very small for each bed😵💫 curtains hooks were off the track and makeup smeared on bathroom walls
- 3/5
Property is somewhat rundown.
- 2/5
Hotel room was dirty, run down and just gross. The service was amazing but the hotel needs some lotion.
- 1/5
I didn't like anything about that place and I tried to get a hold of you guys the day before I was supposed to be there to get my reservations canceled or changed to a different Hotel
- 3/5
quiet
- 5/5
Staff at the facility are exceptional…treated us like family….
- 2/5
The staff was friendly and helpful. The rooms were in poor shape and dirty. The place smelled of smoke.
- 2/5
Very dirty air did not work, bathroom faucet broke. To much money for the condition of room.
